Unfortunately, you would be correct.
“Vampire facials”, which many people think is needling but is actually far, far worse, refers to platelet-rich plasma facials, in which blood is taken from a patient, processed in a centrifuge to extract the plasma and then re-injected it into the face. It’s supposed to make the skin “heal” itself because of platelets or some shit, giving you a more youthful look. Kim K helped make it popular after it was on her show but I know she also supposedly regrets it.
It’s uh, controversial to say the least. And not just because it sounds like painful bullshit but because lack of regulation for this sort of thing has lead to a couple of cases of HIV transmission happening.
The penis version is that they’re doing the exact same thing, taking plasma from themselves or a donor and injecting it into the penile tissue, supposedly to treat erectile dysfunction, but a lot of the men doing this are doing it just to get a girthier look.
And if you think I hate knowing all this, you’d be right.

hobie is definitely perspective and in tune with his emotions. he’s always subtly looking out for others whenever he can. handing out small compliments to people who pass by, giving up his spare time from being spider-man just to help strangers in need, and always being the first person to stick up for someone — hey, it’s in his nature to do so. and when it came to your more sensitive personality, he had no problem accommodating that.
hobie always listens to what’s on your mind — quietly humming along every word as he gazes into your eyes with interest, keeping note of the tone of your voice. he’s extremely patient, musing at the way you frantically ramble about particular stuff that has been bothering you — giving you small, helpful advice whenever you feel overwhelmed. hobie is always gentle, cradling your face as he whispers sweet praises and reassuring words when the hot tears won’t stop pouring from your eyes.
“ ’s okay to be upset, ‘ve even been there myself.” hobie leans back with a heavy sigh, holding you in a warm embrace. you slowly nodded at his insight, purring at the soft traces he left along your skin. then he would kiss your pouting lips — one that felt so airy, it would settle your troubled heart. “if you need anythin’, ‘ll always be there, yea?”

Staring at Hobie Brown is one of your favorite pastimes, every time you're around you can't help staring the cute punk boy. Hobie is so ethereal, every time he takes his mask off in front of you, your heartbeat races and you feel warm.
And you always think he doesn't notice, but actually Hobie knows you're staring, but he loves the attention, so he doesn't complain.
Although Hobie will never admit out loud that he loves receiving your attention more, knowing that you're always staring him makes him feel warm... So one day feeling more confident Hobie decides to catch you staring at him, 'cause he thinks you look so pretty when you blush. You bite your lip when Hobie sits infront of you, today he looks more handsome than usual or maybe it's just your feelings for him that make him look more handsome every day.
It doesn't matter, you're too busy staring at him eat fries that you make the mistake of staring at him too long. And Hobie knows it's his chance.
"Do you like what you see luv?"
