Svinafelljokull, this was an extra stop on our first day, as only 5 of us were on the Diamond tour, so we had the bus to ourselves! Our guides Linus and Peter were amazing and really went out of their way to fit as much in as we could. This glacier is one of the locations that were used for the movie interstellar, and Batman begins, interstellar used areas mostly on the right of this picture, the producers built the road we took to see this also. Jokulsarlon-Glacier Lagoon and Diamond Beach. Mainly just the beach here, or just one very small section of it, I could spend a week here easily. A selection of shots of the Northern Lights i took on our visit to Iceland in October, I still can't really believe we saw them, it was a 2% chance the guide told us, I think we were very lucky. Plus it was my first real attempt at night sky photography, I went for f8, iso 5000 which gave me a 10-15 second exposure. First photo day away from Pembrokeshire since March. With the heat and being out of shape this was a challenging walk!
