I love that the final thing you do is bring a drake to life. I know that the wizard has some utilitarian motives to do this (they need to ride the drake in order to reach the headmaster’s tower) but I still think there’s a lot of beauty in going to a ruined world where everyone is dead, and bringing life there. Dragonspyre will never truly recover from the disaster that has struck it. However, I choose to see the birth of the drake as a bit of hope for the world. Maybe the drakes can inhabit the world once again? The lore book inside the great spyre talks about how there was once a time before the founding of Dragonspyre where the drakes ruled the land. Maybe in a twist of fate, this can be the future for the world too? The humans are all ghosts and the world is uninhabitable for the refugees. However, I choose to see a small glimmer of hope in the ending. This drake has been born into a cruel and unforgiving world, but maybe there’s a way for him to set things right.
I dunno there is just something about being a little human wizard helping out all these giant bears and when you go to meet a new friend he says “we’re glad to have your sword with us” even though he doubts how powerful we are he still is happy to have us fighting on their side and helping out no matter how small it may be and i just think thats so nice

Hey I like that Merle and the other leaders are kinda shitty at their jobs and make bad decisions and place a lot of responsibility on the player character because of prophecy bullshit instead of actually considering what is safest for the player character. But I'm getting the impression that people think Merle is this super evil conniving bastard when the game makes him seem like kind of just an old man who tries to be kind but also tries to be a leader and ends up failing at both when he's really put on the spot to demonstrate one or the other. I would like an arc or world surrounding his story and the impact of his decisions. Because those decisions were most certainly not motivated by hate or malevolence, but they still caused so many problems. Maybe the next world will have Dasein pry into the player character's past to examine the sheer weight of the world that's been put on them, and narrate over some feelings of resentment that the pc didn't express? Surrounding Merle perhaps?

LISTEN I LOVE AMBROSE only BECAUSE he is so stinky. I complain about that man all the time but the actuality is I love how irresponsible and paranoid he can be. Like here we have the main Goodest Goodiest Guy in the whole game that we're supposed to see as Dumbledore but really when you look at his actions and how he treats the people around him you just realize that he's actually not as flawless and gracious as the game wants us to think of him as AND I THINK THATS SO COOL AND FUNNY!!! The potential is THERE to have Ambrose be more than just the Good Guy and have him impact and affect others more than just "the Kind Mentor who just Tried His Best" and I'm forever just slightly irked that the game doesn't really acknowledge the true weight of Ambrose's actions and words
He intrigues me too cause like you can argue he didn't really have much of a choice on the bringing us to the spiral thing cause bartleby predicted us as the savior and told him to get us. But like it's still extremely messed up that he keeps us here and never sends us home after we defeated malistare. The wizard deserves to go off for that.

yeah yeah you’re all for disability rights but if someone is campaigning for adult changing tables in disabled stall bathrooms because they have incontinence and have to wear a diaper are you going to think they’re weird? if a person has a visible colostomy bag are you going to think it’s gross? what about feeding tubes? how does your opinion on these issues change if the person in question is fat, or homeless, or a person of color?
