As a private detective, you were hired for a "simple" missing person's case. 

You were supposed to investigate, find out and be done with it. 
All was fine until, on a sleepless and cliché full-moon night, you stumbled upon a creature you've never expected to find. A monster worth anyone's worst nightmare. A monster holding the key to unravel the case you're investigating.
Your life has taken an unexpected turn after this discovery, how will you manage to face the reality that the supernatural exist after that ? And what will you do when it's revealed that the case is more complex than what you first thought ?

I'm alive 🥳

Hello everybody 🌞,

I'm alive (and very well) ! 🎉

I've finally finished my formation (in advance, but it's for the best 🏃) and I'm feeling stress free (what is this feeling, is it even legal to feel as such?).

I still haven't the final result, 🫣 but given how mortified I was and how thourough I've done my work, I have no pessimistic ideas about this.

Anyway this is just a quick update about my life right now. 😌

What is important is... I can write again ! 🥹🎉

I've done a few lines today and... Writting is like doing sport. A little time without doing it and you're going rusty xD 🫠

Oupsi, sorry for the delay in answering !

Ohhh, yep yep, indeed. This line is there because this project was initially something else (oriented priest vs exorcism of sort (yes, it has a past, a past we shall not get out of the closet xD ), and the characters and atmosphere were different then. So it made a point at this precise moment. When rewritting, I didn't see this piece here. Now, it has evolved, so yeah, this line of text is out of context and now irrelevant. I'll note this down in my to-do-list (which is only ever growing) and modify this 🤭

Update diary : August |Notice of hiatus

Hi ! Hope you're all doing well.

I am on my part. In the last update in July, I told you I was doing a bit of research and such. I have discovered some plot holes and such, I must uncover. Besides, English is not my first language (I'm french), so I'm doing a bit of research about Great Britain and customs. On top of it all, I'm going to take coding classes, as such, I'd prefer to wait and learn how to code better before taking over my work again.

I'd like to take my time and do something as best as I can and for that I'm going to remove my deadlines. So as for now, I don't have a particular update in view. That's why I'm putting my work on hiatus.

I'm still going back and forth daily on Tumblr (mainly because I follow @interact-if ), so if you have questions I'll receive notice of it.

This work is not abandoned. I'm working actively on it !

So far, I'm currently still working on part 02.

But I'm also in a plot hole hunt to sew them all shut. And I'm elbow deep into working on world building and doing the associated research (being historical, environment...) to back everything up nicely.

I really want the story to be as polished as it can be !

This was something...I think you've created something incredible here, a real interactive game. The sound design is so high quality, the UI is really great, so much information & tabs to explore. I never spend so much time in the menu before 😂 just reading every bit I can, the relationship/character tabs are so cool, the case tab & clues as well.

& of course the story it self...is so great! Very intriguing, mysterious & it kept me on the edge of my seat. The fast choices gets my heart beating like crazy but I love it, it's another layer of complexity. The characters are very interesting & I cannot wait to get to know them...

specially one ass that I see many like as well

I think there's only one other horror IF that I actually like, and now there's yours too! I looved Elias, he's a real grumpy and my MC was so terrified that she resorted to violence, never my first option, but I loved the outcome. And I'm sooo curious about Shepard, and literally everyone. As Elias said "curiosity killed the cat" and oh man I'm in for a ride, no regrets.

Thank you so much, I'm looking forward to learn more about the world, the characters and the story as a whole. Let's love these guys/galssss and enjoy this amazing writing!

Also, Elias will not bend in half for a kiss with an extra short MC 🌝 He will bend in half only to hoist you up. Them muscles should be put in good use. Them blue flames as well. And vertical surfaces. 🥸

Unless your MC is fierce and will grip them by the collars. If you do, he'll grumble but will be far too happy to comply 😂

I'm encouraging you to piss him off even more 😂 I kind of admit making him grumpy can be so satisfying 🌞

I kinda appreciate the positive early ending, tbh— most games like to punish you for it (either by giving a bad ending or forcing you to the very start) so I'm glad my curiosity did not end up with me being horrified or made feel bad for it.

But also, it's very funny that a mundane person would not meet these creatures ever in their lives in this story's universe, and MC never saw anything like that ever again. Life in ignorance of the supernatural from then on, what a bliss for them. They write the swamp off as a bad dream and continue living a normal life.

Yeah, I wanted to put this ending here because it felt right, in a choosing kind of way. But I couldn't make a branching from that, so I left this simply as an early ending.

The reason why such creatures will never be met ever again will be explained further in the story :3

It actually scared me since it was around 3am when I started to play 😆 I stopped at the shower scene tho since I started to get frustrated with what to type aofbwkdj The hint only works once and can't be retyped again, I also didn't realize there was a stats page since I thought it'll only show once you were out of the forest like the other games do- This demo is a bit too complicated for me since I normally dislike it when you have to type in your answer and you'd have to stop reading just to find it😭 I rlly love it though!
