in my view juwon is a character who is always craving comfort. it is ironic (& also tragic) that dongsik is the person with whom he finds it frequently. dongsik is the only one with whom juwon can talk and be himself (because dongsik reads him perfectly);

even when dongsik chooses isolation juwon goes to him; at a certain point he puts everything in his life aside just to stalk that man & everyone around him; somehow, dongsik turned into his purpose and ironically the person who made him develop the craving for comfort & consequently for touch;

in the scene when he grabbed dongsik's shoulders it was like he was wanting to hug him (you can notice even dongsik is waiting for some initiation, but juwon gives up in the middle of the act -damn!). but that would be too much. it would be to admit that the whole "do not touch me" nonsense was a way to protect himself. it would be to admit he loved that man more than he ever loved himself.

Episode 9 Joo Won really went to dinner with his dad, after not seeing him over a 3-month period, to tell him,

"Father, my upbringing was too sheltered. I have decided to evolve to a bitchier version of myself. I try things now: I eat different foods, my fashion sense is more experimental, my hair is better, I fuck, I drive a new car..."

to which, Hyuk and HKH ask: "women, right?"

Joo Won: "What?"

Hyuk + HKH: "You're going to pursue women...right?"

Joo Won: "Sure."

Joo Won later on:
