The time seems right to share some classic Monkey Punch art again ! So here you have a cover for a chapter of Shin Lupin Sansei (1977-1980) where Jigen meets his kinda love interest “Reddy”. The cover features a blue jacket wearing Lupin, very reminiscent of how he looks in “Jigen Daisuke’s Gravestone” directed by Takeshi Koike decades later. ;)

If you are not watching AMC Networks ‘Halt and Catch Fire’ you should! The show, now in it’s 4th and final season, portrays a realistic but alternative version of the tech revolution with women in the spotlight.

In the world of Halt and Catch Fire, the most powerful VC is a woman, the inventor of the first search site is a teenage girl, the lead on a VC firm’s best innovation is a black woman, and the most brilliant coder is, again, a woman. Some of these things have happened in reality, but in Halt and Catch Fire, the women who are innovators and leaders aren’t buried in obscurity as they so often are in the real world.
