Suuri Muumijaksokysely, osa 1

Wikipediassa on saatavilla jaksojen sisällöistä lyhyet tiivistelmät, mikäli niitä tarvitsee palauttaa mieleen! Käytin kyselyssä Ylen suomennoksia jaksojen nimistä.

Reblogatkaa ja kertokaa ihmeessä tageissa perusteluja, miksi tykkäätte tietystä jaksosta!

Man. The flagrant lack of critical reading skills and basic reading comprehension just makes me sad. There's a lot of joy in reading the English language that these people are missing out on. There's a clear INTEREST in reading and I feel like if we could just get people off this anti-intellectual streak everyone would be having much more fun reading Metamorphosis AND Twilight.

I genuinely hate this attitude that getting better reading comprehension skills will somehow keep you from enjoying your pulp romance or comic books or fanfiction. All a literature education does is give you more tools to analyze writing. It will only increase the joy of reading.

Did you guys know that the most recent version of sharks have fins that are kinda leg like and they like to walk up onto land?

no way i must have missed an update!

The Epaulette shark is only about 9 million years old as a species, making it the most recent branch in the shark family. And it is slowly but surely evolving into a land animal

LAND SHARK!

WHATCHA GONNA DO WHEN HE COMES FOR YOU?!?!

No offense but the internet gives you the most wrong and fucked up idea of helping people because people get mad if you don't care about disasters happening in 72 countries, meanwhile the people in real life that are doing the most good picked one VERY SPECIFIC thing to care about and care about it REALLY HARD

Walks up to a guy working on restoring a native tree species to his downtown "why aren't you posting about grasses in Turkmenistan!"

The internet has taken a whole generation of bright, motivated, passionate young people who care and have big hearts and turned them into paralyzed, shattered wrecks too crushed by the weight of the world's pain to hand a pair of socks to a person in need

I'm a smiler. I admit it. A giggler. I'm a laughy guy. I laugh at my own jokes before I can finish them, I laugh at my friends' jokes, and I laugh at them too much and too loud. Can't help it! Sorry for being full of love and joy!

My little sister's new boyfriend got a tattoo for her about a month ago and he wanted matching tattoos so he decided to get uh. The tattoo on her ankle of her ex boyfriend's name that she hasn't gotten covered up yet

She broke up with him but I also just got the same tattoo

OK my dad also got it

BTW, just to make sure everyone knows, this isn't just some internet rando commenting on her observations on the internet.

They are an Assistant Professor of Media Industries at New York University and literally just finished writing The Apple II Age: How the Computer Became Personal, a book on the history of the computer industry in the 70s.

This tweet isn't just an observation, it's the result of years of research and study. And it's absolutely true.

I've definitely noticed that when I see older tech nerds talk about open source I'm filled with a sense of camaraderie and wonder, and when I see younger nerds talk about it my bullshit scam alarms go off

idk why but i feel like being a punk is for he/hims and doing ballet is for she/hers
