This is probably an illegal eviction, but that would still require him to file something in court, which would mean needing to get legal help. Legal Aid exists specifically for this purpose and typically prioritize cases like this, but that's still a whole process that should not need to happen in the first place. A lot of work while you're just trying to survive, that's for sure.

Anyway, this is why housing first is such an important mantra and why housing needs to be a human right.

when i need a red ink at work i use iroshizuku fuyu-gaki but my bottle is running out, should i get more or try a different red ink for a while

like a year ago someone went "hey why is everyone cool with buying ink from this bigot" and enough people noticed that it became a pr issue. the noodler's guy apologized and donated to the adl and changed all the labels but. personally i'm not giving him my money.

btw he actually made a whole line of anti semitism inks along that way beyond the red--there's a blue, s black, and I think a green. You know. To stay on theme.

I actually bought a vial of that once and I can confirm that it's the single worst ink I've ever used. Eventually used most of it splashed all over my hands and arms for a Halloween costume because using it in my pens sucked so much.

I asked my Ink Guy about this and

a) of course they had heard of this, ink is their Thing

and

b) they don’t like red ink at all, as you can tell from their ink swatches, which are clearly not red.

Here we are. 😅 I wanted to try designing my totally own cross stitch pattern and came up with this Vacation Jere with Frank. 😆 It was very interesting figuring out how to transform a sketch into a pattern, and I think it turned out well for a first attempt. Gonna try to make the next one a little bigger.
