Lissa: INFJ: she/her Studying: Modern History, French and Religious Studies Mainly a study blog, but with other aspects as well. A little inconsistent.

I’m Proud of every single one of you studying. Whether you think you’ve got a U or an A* a first or messed an exam up. I’m proud you tried. I’m proud of you. Just a reminder - don’t beat yourself up Over grades.

day 24 + 25/100 of self discipline: made myself mad last night? then woke up this morning and realized I really need to love myself…and love myself not so that I can be loved, but just so that I can…love myself. with no expectations or obligations attached. i should get back to journaling….

24.03.2019: hey y’all i tried to schedule this to go up like an hour ago but i have no idea what happened orz… anyways, here are my religion notes

to anyone enduring a depressive episode: it’s ok. you’re not being lazy or selfish. your productivity doesn’t define or devalue you. you’re coping. you’re doing the best you can, and that’s ok!

two exams down, eight to go ✨

also i graduated yesterday?? seven years just flew by - i can’t wait for uni but i’m gonna miss all of my friends :(

21.05. I received another bad grade today. I’m feeling like I don’t belong in law school, my health is getting in the way of my success and my future doesn’t seem bright, it’s quite tiring. On a positive note though, I got to visit one of my favourite parks where I used to spend a lot of time as a child, it was a lovely (and rainy) afternoon.

effective revision checklist

  • do you know what you need to revise for each paper?
  • have you organised your notes into clearly defined sections?
  • have you looked up past papers so you can keep past questions in mind?
  • do you have a realistic revision timetable?
  • are you taking frequent breaks?
  • are you learning appropriately for the kind of learner you are?
  • ask your teachers for help whenever you need it
  • do you have someone you can ask for help?
  • do you have a comfortable, quiet space to study?
  • are you getting enough sleep?
  • are you designating time to relax and doing things you enjoy?

10.05.2019 // Finally, a law school related post, or at least one that sort of qualifies as one. My uni! The view of my current study spot as I’m finishing my property law assignment which is due tonight and I am low key not even halfway done. ☕️

22.4.19 It was a beautiful day and my mums birthday but she insisted I didn’t make a fuss and so I worked on my dissertation morning till evening.

I did make some time to bake a cake for her though. I love my mum, she’s the biggest supporter I have. Xxx Emily

Today was a strange day. I woke up really late and was really groggy for the rest of the morning, so I didn’t get much done. But then I powered through all my work in the afternoon! I’m feeling good about this essay 🌱
