It is pitch black. You are likely to be eaten by a grue. Icon by Plebeiantologist.

Enough of the trope where memory loss undoes the damage or the corruption or whatever. More content where removing memories just removes the context.

The tragedy of needing to grieve and not knowing what or who you lost or why. The angst of having trauma and being denied the awareness that it's trauma. The suspense of being different somehow and left to wonder how and when. The tension of knowing that something is off and you can't find where it hurts. The Adventure Zone gets it. Kingdom Hearts gets it.

There is an aching inside you and you don't know how it got there.

I'm in the pancake kitchen and jesus christ they sure do pancake. "Here's a volume of food sufficient for the entire day in pancake form". ok.

Love the pancake kitchen, they’re the only pancakes that are never underwhelming, and they introduced me to the idea of savoury pancakes when i first went there as a pre-teen.

idk if they still stay open late, but they were a good option for late night food when you also work hospo and wanna eat breakfast for dinner after your shift.

We used to play DnD here every week when I was in uni and I could get through an entire pancake meal no problem. German Feast was my favourite. I am halfway through this pancake and I've given up. I'll just sip my peppermint tea like an old lady.

I was just looking at their menu because of your post, and thinking to myself that the german feast would be my choice (add a side of mushrooms too), but i would spend a few minutes debating between that, and the always good lemon and sugar combo.

When you do this a little voice in your head says "oh just order both, the sweet one is dessert" and that is the devil talking. You will NOT be able to eat both.

oh, i would absolutely never listen to that voice (except for the times when i do).
