In an increasingly misogynist US, girls are bombarded by Depp v heard, roe v wade, the 10 year old victim who had to leave her state for a safe abortion, and teen girls who make tiktoks about having their intestines removed after violent sexual assault all at the same time ALONG with makeup, bimbos, plastic surgery, and only fans being pushed on them at younger ages every year.
we DESPERATELY need a real, ugly, mean, loud feminism movement to go mainstream. this refusal to read theory and to apply critical thinking and reading comprehension to label everything that isn't pink lipstick feminism as too problematic to engage with is completely destroying women's minds.
stop labelling everything that CLEARLY isn't even transphobic a terf. misogyny and transmisogyny are issues that overlap more than they don't. this kneejerk reactionary trend of calling all feminists transphobes and the rampant seething hatred of feminism only strengthens actual TERFs in getting rightfully angry, frightened young women to join them online. they have completely ruined the public perception of radical feminism on a broad scale, but it's fundamentally wrong and stupid to exclude trans people from radical feminist activism.
Both were exceptional people, who bore an exceptional daughter.

I still think that when they put the soul stone back at the end of Endgame, they should have gotten Natasha back. It would make sense for "a soul for a soul" to go both ways! It's a cosmic force with its own sense of justice; it makes sense for the sacrifice to not be about cruelty, but about balance. It's never come up before because no one else has tried just putting the soul stone back. Somebody like Thanos would never do that, but our heroes who only wanted the stone for truly altruistic reasons would. It would probably also never occur to someone like Thanos that putting it back would work because he assumes the cosmic forces think the same way he does. This actually would go along well with a flaw in the motivation the movie gave him--if he has unlimited power, why can't he simply make more resources? Or make life need capable of surviving on less? Because he's short-sighted and doesn't really understand how the infinity gauntlet works. "A soul for a soul" being collateral is just so much cooler.

the problem with “you don’t owe anyone else anything” is that what I think people first meant when they said it was “don’t apologize for existing, you do not owe others for tolerating you being alive especially if they are cruel to you” but what everyone online took it as “if someone in your life ever asks you for anything ever you should kill them”
I think I dislike ‘fuck canon fanon rulez’ takes because time after time I see how boring and predictable fanon is and how often it reinforces racism and misogyny etc. in ways canon never did
and I think having to work around canon and with canon to make something new usually ends up pushing people to make something weirder and cooler
