Sorry I missed posting on Friday, but here is our featured artist for the week.
Today we have Greg Whitefield (aka greggletron) who works out of Scape Goat Tattoo in Portland, OR. This guy has an AMAZING illustrative style that makes me bow in reverence. His images and color palette has these eerie feel to them and it’s just darn beautiful. Just like most other artists I feature I just plain and simply enjoy Mr. Whitefield’s art in general. Just check it out and see for yourself.
First pass with just B&G shading, but you can see what it will become.
Again, not finished, but a great process shot.
I hope you enjoyed Greg Whitefield’s talents as much as I did. Check out more of his work at www.scapegoattattoo.com and follow him on instagram and tumblr @greggletron.
Today’s featured artist is David Tevenal, who works out of Memento Tattoo & Gallery in Columbus, Ohio. Mr. Tevenal has bright vivid tattoos that go along the more traditional side designs. He add his own unique twist to color palettes and his adaptations of traditional designs are phenomenal. This man just does clean, technical, beautiful tattoos. Check it out.

This week’s featured artist is Matt Jordan who works out of Blue Lotus Tattoo in Auckland, New Zealand. Mr. Jordan has these incredible, epic, classical tattoos that blow my flippin mind. His B&G is top notch and his color work is second to none. His style is realistic and hard to find artists as good as he is. Check it out.
Today’s featured artist is Noah Minuskin who works our of Lowrider Tattoo in Fountain Valley, CA. Mr. Minuskin is an up and coming artist in the realistic B&G world. His work is incredible and his style resembles that of Jun Cha’s. Another product of Lowrider tattoo where Jose Lopez hails as the Godfather. Check out his work.
Sorry I missed last weeks, but cmon… It was the holiday, give me a break.
Today we have John Barrett who does RIDICULOUS realistic, color tattoos. The talent behind this man is unreal. I definitely admire his abilities and vision. He considers himself a “traveling” tattoo artist. Just does guest spots all over the country (my dream) and posts his locations on his site. Not much to say about such artists, just enjoy their creations.
Just recently went to Universal Studios with some friends and rode the new Transformers ride. Bumblebee saved us. Thanks Bee~
I know “to each his own,” but cmon… A big Harry Potter face on your ribs?? cmon… Still looks incredible.
Pretty badass video of this tattoo here —> http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=axPy2hc_oZY
I always like the fusion between traditional and realistic designs.
