zesty ranch

Here’s an SDS for @asphaltcompaction93 and @meishamodifying in the bathroom at work because I like the wallpaper. I truly don’t think my eyes are nearly that dark, so please excuse that I look like a demon. Thanks for tagging me!

Yesterday I ate:

Breakfast
- none, fasting

Lunch
- 8 oz. chicken breast from home with lettuce from the work lunch, which was fine, but work lunch was tacos, so then I piled my salad high with guac

Dinner
- 8 oz. chicken breast with 2 T Tessemae’s Creamy Ranch dressing (still non-dairy, just as good as the Zesty Ranch, and has fewer calories), three eggs, and two slices of American cheese melted on top

Snacks
- one square of Lindt 85% chocolate
- the last of my Nush cakes, thank god, although I’m going to miss them

Gained back part of my big whoosh yesterday, but you know what? I’m still down a little from this time last week, and that’s all that matters.

I’m truly, TRULY sticking to my meal plan today and can’t wait. Dinner last night was so filling I had to take a break halfway through, so I think my stomach is getting used to the smaller portions I’m trying to give it. Not that 8 oz. of chicken for lunch is small, but it is compared to what I used to eat.

I tag my DietBet pals for an SDS! @lizzielosing, @westcoaststartinganew, @lchfjourney, @one-forty-five, @niki-noo, @meishamodifying, @biancadoeshealthy, and @surgeofadrenaline!

212.8 Friday –> 210.6 Monday –> 210.4 yesterday –> 209.6 today

I honestly can’t believe I’m managing to lose weight right now. I’ve been logging my food for the last few days just to see how my numbers look. This was yesterday:

Breakfast
- none (trying to fast again so I can eat more calories for dinner)

Lunch
- 2 cups mixed greens
- 8 oz. grilled chicken breast
- 2 T Tessemae’s Zesty Ranch dressing

Dinner
- pork rind tortilla with ground beef, yogurt for sour cream, red onions, cilantro, shredded cheddar, and hot sauce
- 8 oz. ground beef, 2 slices American cheese, mustard, and red onion on a low-carb Know Foods bun

Snacks
- Keto Bar at work
- 1 oz. mozzarella cheese and .5 oz. pepperoni after work
- 1 square of 85% Lindt chocolate after dinner

2141 calories(!!), 53g total carbs, 34g net carbs, 147g protein, 160g fat

And the thing is, I still felt like I was dieting yesterday. I wasn’t hungry at all, and in fact I kind of forced down all of that dinner, but I still felt like I was making better choices than I would have if I wasn’t thinking about my weight. Which makes me so scared about how many calories I used to eat in a day.

BUT I’m wearing a shirt that I’ve only worn once in my life before, because it was so uncomfortably tight that day that I packed it away. Now it’s a little bit too loose. So I took a selfie in it at work.

I’m back to my lowest weight, the same lowest weight I was at before I went to Paris and then again before I did a big tasting menu and then again before 4th of July weekend travels, but THIS TIME, I’m not going to mess it up.

Finally hit 206 for the first time!

Yesterday I ate:

Breakfast
- none, fasting

Lunch
- 8 oz. chicken breast from home with 2 T Tessemae’s Zesty Ranch dressing and a cup of roasted Brussels sprouts from the work lunch

Dinner
- 8 oz. chicken breast with mustard, two eggs, and one slice of American cheese melted on top

Snacks
- three slices of sandwich pepperoni and a slice of mozzarella
- two squares of Lindt 85% chocolate
- a little sugar-free Jell-o with a tablespoon of heavy cream mixed in while it was setting up in the fridge to give it a creamy texture

1336 calories, 24g total carbs, 17g net carbs, 125g protein, 75g fat.

I feel like I had so many little victories yesterday. I ate that pepperoni and cheese mindlessly while I was waiting for dinnertime, so I made up for that by eating fewer eggs and less cheese than planned for dinner.

And then I saw that my fat was going to be way over my goal for the day, so I switched out my ranch dressing at dinner for some mustard.

And THEN my fiancé came home from a Yankees game and wanted some Jell-o, and I had allotted myself a big bowl of it, but I got really full about halfway through and gave the rest to him.

WHO EVEN AM I?
