Yohji Yamamoto Pour Homme hindu shirt from AW04.

The typeface and graphic of this shirt is highly influence by the deva and goddess of Hinduism. A similar graphic style can also be found on some interior of the temple’s wall all over south asia/southeast asia. Both the illustration and letters are imprinted in a shade of light blue on a white tissue paper cotton, which highly resemble an old scripture that is usually pass along by older generation to the next in order to preserve and maintain a religious belief throughout a family. Underneath the cuff and collar is black lining detail which help contrasting a neckline and wrist line of a wearer for a better silhouette result.
