YuuMii - Girls Week : Vision Board

Another beautiful day with my girl, making a Vision Board.

What’s a Vision Board? A tool to focus your intention. Manifest dreams to reality. To remind you of who you are in complicated times. Also, a nice pace to daydream in.

We spent an hour ripping apart magazines that just didn’t have what we were looking for. We hopped on our bikes and the the second hand shops! Our favourite place! Grabbed lots of old mags and rode home fast.

She ripped and I cut and then we laid out the design. Let the glueing begin!! So fun! The first layer and a half is done! Will post updates as they come, if she wants to share…

YuuMii WorkShop : MCA Excursion

Lesson 1 : Light

What a great way to start off Term 2. 12 kids and loads of hands-on, interactive stuff for them to dive into. We had a tour of the latest show, sketched, observed, used ALL our senses and imagination.

Stay tuned, term 4 we will do the same tour but at The Sydney Opera House!

Hi Julija & The YuuMii School,

Thank you for your interest in the MCA’s Bella program.  Everyone is welcome at Bella, and we look forward to preparing a program for your group.

We have booked your group in for a 90 minute program on Monday 4 May at 10:10am.  Please find the booking confirmation form attached to this email.  I have also included the pre-visit teacher resource to help you and your students prepare for your visit.

Please note, the new artwork for the Bella Room will have just finished being installed when you visit.  As long as there aren’t any delays with the installation, you will be one of the first groups to experience the new work by artist David Capra.  The pre-visit teacher resource includes information on the current Bella Room by Brown Council.  For more information about David Capra’s work, please click here.

Should it not be possible to access the Bella Room on the date of your visit, your group will spend a little longer in the MCA Collection galleries.  You will still be able to use the Creative Studios for art making activities.

For any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact me via email or on the number below.

We look forward to seeing you soon at Bella!
