Hat Trick

I blame yugirl for making Takahiro too adorable and precious and now I made this so there ya go.

Carly looked up from her laptop as she heard the front door slam open, the sound of hurried footsteps running up the stairs, and the loud thwump of a body landing on a bed.

“Is that you, Takahiro? You’re 16; you know better than to run in the house.”

“I don’t understand face-buried-in-pillow speak,” Carly responded blithely, looking back down at her laptop. She smiled to herself as she heard his heavy footsteps tromping down the stairs, and with a long-suffering sigh, her oldest dropped onto the couch next to her.

“Mom, can I ask you something?”

“Ask away!”

“How did you deal with all the paparazzi? Like when you and Dad got married, or even when you started dating?”

“Takahiro, I was a paparazzi. I know all the tricks. However, it helped that your Dad wasn’t exactly shying away from them. In fact, after he proposed, he was practically dragging me to the cameras to show off the ring.”

“Yeah, sounds like Dad,” Takahiro sighed.

Carly looked up from her laptop and glanced at her son. He had his knees drawn up to his chin and his mouth was drawn up in a pout that he’d had ever since he was two. Carly stifled a giggle. For all that he looked exactly like his father, it was so hard to imagine Jack ever lookin so miserable.

“They don’t even want to know about me,” Takahiro said suddenly, his frown deepening. “They’re always asking about Dad, or Risa, or even Rikiya. ‘What kind of father is Jack Atlas? Does Risa have someone she likes?’ Stupid stuff like that. It just always seems so pointless, like…who even cares?”

“You’d be surprised,” Carly answered. “That’s why the job exists. There’s always someone out there who wants to know those useless things.”

“Yeah…I just…Maybe it wouldn’t be as annoying if they actually asked about me for once!”

Carly closed her laptop.

“It’s hard not being the famous one, isn’t it?”

“Yeah, it sucks.”

“I used to get tired of it, too. Everybody wanted to know about Jack, what he was like, what kinds of things he bought me. Just pointless stuff. But you have to understand, Takahiro, the people with the cameras and the microphones…they’re just doing their jobs, trying to make their way in the world like everybody else. It’s hard for them too, trust me on that.”

Takahiro sighed again, sinking deeper into the couch cushions. “I get it, Mom. I just wish they’d leave me alone sometimes.”

Carly smiled fondly. “You could always try a disguise, you know.”

“A disguise? Mom, that only works in movies.”

“You wanna bet? Ask your Dad about the time I smuggled him out of the hospital to go to an amusement park.”

Takahiro stared at her, eyebrows raised and mouth slightly agape.

“You did not.”

“I did too. I think he still has the hat somewhere. You should wear it; cover up that signature Atlas hair of yours. It’s like a homing beacon.”

“A hat?! Mom, that would never work!”

“It did work! Call it dumb all you want, you know it’s actually genius!”

“It’s not genius, it’s not going to work!”

“Sit right there, young man. I’m going to prove you wrong.”

Takahiro rolled his eyes as his mother leapt off the couch and raced up the stairs.

“Don’t run in the house, Mom,” he muttered, his mouth stretching open in a yawn.

“I heard that, Takahiro Atlas!” she called down, slightly muffled as if she were standing in a closet.

Moments later, she came back down the stairs, a baggy black cap in her hands.

“What is that?!”

“I told you he still had it!” Carly grinned widely, holding the hat out to him. “Try wearing this on your way to school tomorrow. If you still get followed by paparazzi, you don’t have to do chores for a month.”

“And if this…thing actually works?”

“You’re using your next allowance to take me out to lunch,” she replied with a wink. Takahiro glared at the hat as she handed it to him, but a small smirk still crossed his face.

“Fine. You’re on!”

The next day….

“I told you it would work. There’s a new pizzeria that just opened up down the street; I think that will do quite nicely!”

Yusaku and how tall is he?

Okay, so looking at the video I was saw that yusaku was close in height to Yusei (pretty fuckkng close) and I wondered if Yusaku was taller than Yusei (who is the oldest and tallest protagonist we’ve had in all of yugioh).

After some intense looking at this screenshot:

And also this screenshot:

I determined that Yusaku was just a bit shorter than Yusei but considerably taller than Yuma. So I decided to see how tall is Yusaku. And me being the nerd that I am had to find a way to determine this height.

So I went to:

(A great site to use for comparing heights)

So Yusei is officially 175cm (or 5'9") while Yuma is Officially 158cm (or 5'2") and Yusaku’s height hasn’t been released anywhere that I’ve seen.

So after some tinkering and as close as I could get it.

I determined that Yusaku (with estimation) is in the range of 174cm.

This makes Yusaku the second tallest protagonist in yugioh (if I’m right). So thank you all for reading this post. I know it was super fuckkng nerdy of me. But please if you have anything to contribute that would be a wonderful addition to this post, message me! I’m always open to other opinions! So thanks again!

Oh and I’ll put the heights of the other protagonists just so you guys can all see where everyone else is.

Yugi: 153cm

Judai: 161cm

Yusei: 175cm

Yuma: 158cm

Yuya: 158cm

Yusaku: 174cm (my estimated guess)

5D’s AU ideas I gots

(They’re all faithshipping sorry)

Racer AU: (inspired by the Project Gotham Racing game series)

Set in the future; Yusei and Aki are part of a racing organization (they race motorcycles of course)

-Yusei is pretty much the undisputed king (except for Jack, but he hasn’t won any of their races in a while)

-Crow and Bruno are his mechanics/pit team

-Aki is a newcomer from Germany; she hasn’t raced on any of the Japan circuits so she’s a complete unknown to the boys

-Out of no where they see somebody’s been beating Yusei’s lap times on a couple tracks, and they’re like “who is this person”

-(Crow thinks it’s a dude and when he sees it’s a women he’s like “holy crap what)

-They don’t meet each other for a while, and Aki keeps her helmet on always.

-They have these armband things (think like Mass Effect Omni-tools) that they use for communication and internet and stuff and Aki just starts pestering (and flirting with) Yusei.

-She doesn’t beat him in any of the races but she still teases him and he’s like kinda annoyed at first but he’s also like really interested

-they meet face to face for the first time at a bar and whoooooo boy the sparks are flying

-(and then after like a few months of this they do a thing. A sexy thing)

Demigods AU:

More of a mythology based one, kinda based off the lore of the Crimson Dragon but I added some stuff. Basically the Signers are all demigods; they are the children of dragons and humans. They have this destiny to fight the Earthbound Immortals. It’ll be easier to just put up the intro later for this one…

Azure Dragon AU:

This one is set in the canon universe. More mythology and stuff too. Very much inspired by the Leviathan DLC from Mass Effect 3.

The Crimson Dragon has a counterpart called the Azure Dragon. They balance each other out in terms of powers and stuff. So they both created the Signer Dragons; Crimson created the light element ones (Stardust, Lifestream, and Ancient Fairy), Azure created the dark element ones (Black Rose, Black Feather, and Red Demon).

-At some point before the team has gone their separate ways, Yeager contacts them because they were never really rewarded for winning the WRGP (or you know SAVING THE WORLD)

-so he sets them up with this all expenses paid vacation at a reeeally fancy resort, it’s undergoing its soft opening so it’s not even crowded or anything

-the owner of the resort meets them and Aki is immediately suspicious of him; he just feels weird to her

-she starts having these pretty vivid dreams where she’s trapped in a cold, dark place, and a voice is telling her to leave

-one night her mark actually starts reacting and everybody kinda freaks out

-So they’re out on the beach surfing and jet skiing and having a good time and then this thing pulls Aki into the water (Yusei saves her tho)

-the owner of the resort tells them about the Azure Dragon, and explains that he brought them here to help him defeat it for good

(Haven’t fully worked out the details on how it all goes down but there’s a thing where Aki uses her powers to connect to the dragon and talk to and/or fight it maybe)

-when it’s all said and done Yusei and Aki are gonna go on a date for sure.

Things I need if 5ds ever reboots

5ds to pull a fullmetal alchemist brotherhood and get a redo (and a much better one like brotherhood)

Yuseis mom

Yuseis mom

Jacarly not to be thrown under the bus

the actual yuaki thing to be shown as Canon!

have I mentioned Yuseis mom?

Yuseis future after the end of the series (seriously we got everyone else’s)

Some sort of prequel oneshot to all the signer parents (headcanon that the parents all knew each other somehow or another before zero reverse)

an interaction with yusei and his mom

TEAM 5DS PULLING THEIR GODDAMN WEIGHT INSTEAD OF MAKING YUSEI THE HERO FOR EVERYTHING (I know he’s the main character and all but I mean come on..Jack was the king of Turbo dueling for like two years, aki was the black rose witch, ruka was like a prodigy duelist at the age of three, and motherfucking crow beat security in a OTK. GIVE THE TEAM SOME GODDAMN CREDIT!)

Yusei and his dad to have a nice interaction instead of some good hocus pocus mambo jambo

So, in watching Forged In Fire recently, my brain decided to spawn a(nother) 5Ds AU where Yusei works as a blacksmith in a small village. And naturally, I shared the idea with @yugirl-with-dragons so it started spiraling out of control. Here’s some of the highlights:

>Jack is a nobleman who keeps breaking his swords and demanding Yusei fix them, and Yusei just keeps giving him a look like, quit being so rough on these you dummy.

>Aki disguises herself as the Black Rose and asks Yusei to make her a sword. He makes her a rapier with a delicate rose hilt, kinda like this:

>Every year, there’s a big festival where knights come to joust and sword fight and Yusei’s expected to be there cuz he’s the local blacksmith so he has to fix armor and swords and horseshoes and the like.

>This year is a big year because the King has offered the hand of his daughter to the victor of the sword fights, but in a twist, Princess Aki declares that she will not marry any man who cannot disarm her in single combat.

>Naturally, none of the competitors are able to do this.

>Yusei sees her using the sword he forged for the Black Rose, and not realizing they are the same person, confronts her about it in the stables. She gets angry and attacks him. He grabs a pitchfork to defend himself and they have an epic battle in the stables.

>As it turns out, Yusei’s no slouch when it comes to weapons. Since he makes weapons for a living, he’s learned to use all of them during testing to ensure each one has the proper weight and balance to them. Although he remains on the defensive during their entire encounter (because he doesn’t want to hurt Aki), he is able to disarm her.

>Cue Aki being like !!!! but also like, WTF WHO ARE YOU and Yusei just shrugs and says, “A blacksmith” and hands her back her sword.

>They have a few other fights, but I haven’t figured out the details of those, other than Yusei successfully disarms her each time, causing her to develop serious dokis for him.

>The King is putting pressure on Aki to marry a powerful nobleman named Sayer, who has a lot of wealth and influence in the region. Aki steadfastly refuses to marry him unless he can disarm her in combat. There’s also the added complication that she’s crushing on the local blacksmith.

>Sayer realizes what’s up with Aki and the blacksmith and uses his wealth and influence to put Yusei in prison.

>I have no idea what Crow and the twins are doing, but I’m sure something will come up.

>I also have no idea what happens past Yusei getting put in prison, but it would be rad for Aki to come to his rescue.

And there you have it! Huzzah!

ruelukas22  asked:

Au Queen hmm?~ What's Yugi like in your pirate Au?

LOL you made me realize I never drew Yugi in my Pirate AU

So I took the chance to do it now x°D he’s supposed to be Atem’s younger brother (I’m sorry, I had to justify the resemblance somehow lol) and he’s from a very rich family who owns colonies (despite being so bad at history I chose this way for accuracy and clothing reasons) and when he finds out Atem might be still alive (they believed him dead after a shipwreck) he sails stealing one of his father’s ships lol (his closest friends will be the crew 🔥)

Hi so this is bad and stupid but
I found out about the Yugioh Pirate AU and I don’t really get it cause I’m not done the whole series and I just found it and aaaa but I love itttt anyway so
I drew Yami as a pirate and yes that’s Yami he looks dumb I know it’s just a doodle but anyways here’s my angry Egyptian boy whom I love. He has a ponytail because that’s how I differentiate (for the most part) between my drawings of Yugi (Who I haven’t drawn yet) and my drawings of Yami
Credit goes to @drawing-cookie and @yugirl-with-dragons for having the idea for a Pirate au in the first place and also their incredible art for said au I love

This is for @yugirl-with-dragons, happy birthday! I’m sorry, I’m not sure whether I’m late or not, but I hope I’m not! Anyway, I hope you’re having a great birthday, and I hope you like it! ^.^

“Okay, so, hold the sword-” he sighed exasperatedly as she held the weapon with two hands instead of one, like he had told her. “No- no no, not with two hands just one, I’ve already told you that!” Her head snapped up at him in frustration.

“I can hardly carry this thing with two hands, let alone one! This sword is too damn heavy for me to carry!” He grumbled in annoyance and stalked towards her in frustration. He tore the bladed weapon out of her hands to demonstrate how “easy” it was.

“How is this too heavy? This is one of the lightest swords we have on this ship!” He turned and glared at her as he swung the weapon around with ease.

“Well, excuse you, you’ve had years of experience with this! My father would never have let me even take a glance at a weapon without scolding me! This is the first time I’ve seen a weapon in person!” She waved her hands around wildly in exasperation.

“Then why are you here?! You said you wanted to have your own freedom, and yet you complain about not being able to pick up a sword! Things are different here in the real world than the little cooped up world you’ve lived in your whole li-!” She cried out in anger.

“I’m not trying to complain about the damned sword! It’s the way you’re teaching me! Your treating me like I should be a skilled swordsman when you know where I come from. Yes, I want to be free, but give me time to adjust! Give me time to get the hang of things before you start pushing me too much!” The deck was filled with silence other than Aki’s constant heaving for breath. She growled in frustration. “You know what! Forget this, I’m done for the day!” She stormed off down into the entrance of the hall which led to the personal chambers. Bruno, who had been busying himself with maintaining the ship looked up at him sheepishly.

“I was planning addressing that issue with you myself, but at a later time. Though, she basically summarized most of what I had wanted to say,” he explained, slowly hunching up his shoulders out of fear the blue eyed captain would yell at him. Bruno could hardly see Yusei’s blue eyes from underneath the dark shadow that his long black fringe cast upon his eyes as he tilted his head down. Yusei clenched his fist and whipped around to face Bruno.

“She wants her own freedom she says, she asks if I can train her and she complains! She’s seriously pissing me off right now!” Bruno winced at how furious Yusei sounded as he began pacing back and forth frustratedly. “It’s like she’s purposely doing this!” He raised his foot and stomped it against the ground furiously. “What am I doing wrong? I’m treating her like I would a new soldier recruit! And she still doesn’t get it, how does she not understand how to hold a sword?!” He whipped around and turned to face Bruno, who winced at how angry Yusei looked.

“W-Well, that’s the thing,” he mumbled sheepishly, twiddling his fingers together. “She’s not a recruit soldier, she is- was, the daughter of a nobleman. She was raised to be a,” he raised his hand and made quotation signs with his fingers. “Perfect child. She’s not used to combat at all, and I get that it’s essential that she learns how to fight, however, I agree with her that you are pushing her too hard. It’s like handing an infant a gun and expecting it to get perfect and clear shots. Give her a few days to adjust to this new life, and maybe she’ll become a better combatant than most of us here, who knows. For now though, we should give her some time to calm down and wait until she’s ready again.” Yusei sighed and nodded in understanding.

“I think Bruno’s right on this one Yus! She’s not used to this at all, she’ll get used to it eventually!” The two looked up to see Crow sliding down on one of the ropes connected to the mast of the ship and landed gracefully next to the two men. “She’s in her what, late teens? Just give her time, she’s got the motivation to live life the way she wants to, but you gotta give her time, it’s only been what. Two days since she got here?” Bruno nodded in agreement. Crow looked up at Yusei and Bruno. “Tell you what, why don’t Bruno and I help you next time you have a training session with her?” Yusei sighed reluctantly and nodded in understanding.

“I guess you have a point, I’d appreciate it the extra help, I honestly don’t know how to deal with her.” Crow and Bruno looked at each other and smiled.

“Alright, now that that’s settled, I’m gonna go take a nap before I make dinner,” Crow spoke up. Bruno looked at him and smiled.

“I’ve got to finish doing maintenance on the ship.” With that, the three parted ways. The day continued to drag on, though, Yusei couldn’t help but be slightly worried when Aki didn’t show up in the dining hall for dinner, but he knew better than to make contact with her, he assumed she was still furious from the day’s earlier events, so he left her be. Eventually, the sun began to set, and the sky was covered with the of so familiar dark blanket of stars. Seeing as the day dragged along and was uneventful, Yusei wasn’t too surprised when he found he wasn’t tired. He sat up to face the wall after what he guessed was about an hour or two of tossing and turning on his mattress. He sighed and rubbed his eyes as he stood and decided to go out and stare at the stars. The wooden floorboards released soft groans as he walked out of his chambers and onto the deck. He was surprised to find a certain red haired woman standing out towards the corner looking out in the distance, he turned his eyes to the left and found a sword. Yusei turned his eyes back towards her once more as the sound of her grumbling caught his attention. He walked over to the sword and as he picked it up, he noticed a small amount of blood on it. His eyes raised in curiosity as he walked over to her.

“Hey,” he greeted. She cried out in surprise and he could see her visibly wince and jump, and almost off of the railing. He quickly dropped the weapon and reached his arms out to catch her before she fell overboard. His arms rested around her waist, steadying her as her hands gripped the railings to the point that her knuckles were white and she heaved in and out, probably still frantic. He pulled her away from the rail gently as he backed up and gave her space to breath. Her face was flushed red as she quickly brushed her clothes off and fixed her appearance. She looked up at him with an annoyed look on her features, almost a pout. Her face reminded him of a small child pouting for not getting something they wanted.

“What do you want?” She crossed her arms over her chest and leaned her weight against her left foot. She leaned back so she could lean against the railing. He sighed and held up the sword and motioned to it. Then, as he looked at her, he noticed the small piece of cloth torn off and wrapped around her hand.

“What were you doing?” He raised an eyebrow and motioned to the bandaged hand with his eyes. Her eyes widened before she uncrossed her arms and put them behind her back.

“N-Nothing, why?” He sighed and walked up to her before reaching behind her and forcefully grabbing her arm. He pulled it forward and accidentally pulled her forward as well, sending her tumbling into his arms. She quickly pulled away from him, but he would not let go of her arm. “What are you-?!”

“How did you cut your hand? Did you do it intentionally?” She winced and glared at him coldly.

“Are you kidding me?! Do you really think I’d do something so foolish?!” She finally found the strength to tear her arm out of his grip. “I was practicing trying to hold up the damned sword, but I dropped it and without thinking I grasped the blade with my hand, and it cut my palm open!” He paused in slight surprise. She had been practicing? That wasn’t really what he expected her to be doing, he thought that she’d be asleep or something else. He eyebrow quirked in suspicion.

“Why in the middle of the night?” She looked away from him.

“Because I thought you’d be sleeping and not nagging me. Guess I was wrong about that.” She frowned slightly before looking up at the moon. “Plus it isn’t as hot as in the daytime.” He hummed in understanding.

“It is indeed incredibly hot out here.” He sat down and hesitantly patted the spot next to him. She huffed and turned to face the other way, but accepted the invitation and took a seat next to him. She crossed her legs and leaned her elbows against her knees as she stared up at the stars.

“I was never able to really see the star or night sky like this back at that place.” Her head turned down to look at her hands.

“Why don’t you just call it home?” He stared at her and frowned slightly as her eyes drooped sadly.

“Because it never felt like a home. A home is supposed to feel warm and comfortable to you, but that place just felt cold and lonely, empty even.”

“But your father was a senator, you probably were surrounded with lots of people how could you be lonely?” He honestly didn’t understand her mindset, but if they’re going to be staying on the same boat, might as well try.

“Yeah, people who only cared about me for publicity and my father. I’d rather have been alone than be used for something like that.”

“Oh.” There was a silence for a few seconds that stretched on as the waves continued to splash and the clouds continued to move and the stars continued to twinkle.

“I don’t want to be known as just, ‘The Senator’s Daughter,’ I want to be known by my own name, and being tied down in marriage certainly won’t let me do that.” Yusei paused as his mind flashed back to the man that she was supposed to be married to. His fern green eyes glimmered with a sick sadistic need of something as he looked at Aki, but he’d rather not find out what that need was and what it had to do with her. Something about him had just set Yusei off and made him upset. That stupid cowlick hair of his for some reason deeply pissed him off. The dude seemed like a complete manipulative asshat straight off the bat as soon as Yusei made eye contact with him. “Then, I stumbled across you at that bar. I guess I found that we, in some ways, were similar at the time. Both trapped in a curse, we’re both trying to get out of it, and a few other things. I guess, no, I knew then that I had made my decision. I had wanted to be free, so, when I saw your ship, I snuck on it. I honestly don’t know why I chose to sneak in with you guys, but I can’t say that I regret my decision. I’m glad I chose to do this, I really am.” She looked up at him. “And I promised myself that I’d work hard to try and meet you guys’ expectations so that I wouldn’t be left behind. So, that I could come on par with you guys. I refuse to play the part of the rich girl who’s damsel in distress and can’t carry her own weight.” A fiery look of determination flashed in her eyes. Yusei suddenly understood why she was upset, he was holding her image to someone she refused to be. Perfect. She refuses to be perfect, she’s been living in a society that’s been harsh if she doesn’t act in a certain manner or play her part. “But I can’t do that in a span of two days you know. I wish that was possible but it’s not, but I’ll try harder.” The look she gave as she said that made his instincts scream at him to do something, just anything to let her know that she’s not alone at the moment, but he held himself back. Would she be upset? He doesn’t know, he still doesn’t know her as an individual person. The only thing he knows is that she’s determined to have the freedom she desires, and that she’s the daughter of a nobleman, but nothing else. He reached his hand out towards her, but hesitated. His mind kept screaming at him to do something even as he withdrew his hand, he didn’t know why he pulled his hand back. He just did. He could tell she had been waiting for something, but a look formed in her eyes, but he couldn’t describe what it was. Maybe it was sadness? A miserable sort of acceptance maybe? He didn’t know what it was, but he regretted not doing anything the minute that look flashed in her beautiful eyes. Overcome by the new sensation of guilt for not doing anything and many other things, he stood up and briskly headed back to his quarters, murmuring nothing more than a simple good night under his breath. As soon as he reached his quarters, he realized that was the last thing he should’ve done. He sat on the bed frame of his mattress and placed his hand over his eyes in frustration. God he fucked up, he kept cursing himself, he should’ve tried to talk to her more, not just run away! He wound up falling asleep, but not without the guilt traced on his face. The next morning, he woke up startled by the sound of gunshots. He quickly bolted out of his room and grabbed his hat and coat as he ran out onto the deck, but was greeted with a surprise.

“Crow, Bruno! What the hell is-?!” Crow and Bruno had a look of shock on their faces at how well Aki’s aiming was. She held a gun with a target board a couple of meters away. Three bullet holes all extremely close to the center of the target.

“Holy shit,” Crow murmured, aghast with what happened. “Yo! Izayoi! Why didn’t you tell us you could use a gun?! If you told us earlier we would’ve just let you be!” Crow waved his hands exasperatedly.

“That’s the thing,” She turned around to face the two men. “This is my first time using a gun, but I have a good aim.” She shrugged sheepishly, seeming a little surprised herself with how well she did with a gun. The twins came sprinting out onto the deck as well.

“What happened,” they shouted in unison. “What was with those gunshots?!” They paused as they registered the sight before them until one jumped up in excitement. “That looks so cool! You using a gun and all being badass!” The other twin smacked the first in the back.

“Language Rua!”

“Sorry, Ruka.” Aki smiled and laughed softly while rubbing the back of her neck sheepishly.

“It seems that what you needed wasn’t more pushing, just an adjustment,” Bruno pointed out. He specifically turned and looked at Yusei. “Maybe as time goes on and with more practice your aiming will get better.”

“Yeah, I’ll help out,” Crow piped up excitedly. Her eyes widened at the statement in shock, but softened. Yusei felt his chest tighten as he lost his breath for a short moment. Her amber, almost golden under the sunlight, eyes glimmered with appreciation and hope. He could tell her exact thoughts just from her eyes, he looked at her and tried to make it as clear as he could without saying anything. She turned and looked at him. ‘You’re not alone anymore.’ Her eyes widened in understanding at the new revelation, and she smiled.

“Thanks you guys,” she murmured. Her voice was a bit shaky and her head was downcast. The twins quickly noticed, and Ruka stepped up to her.

“W-What’s wrong? Did we say something bad?” Aki began laughing softly as she lifted her head, wiping tears from her eyes before they shed.

“No,” she sniffed and rubbed her arm across her eyes, a certain spot of the fabric of her sleeved shirt appearing darker. “I just really appreciate the help.” It was a while later after the events of the morning that Yusei realized, there was so much more meaning to that sentence than she let on. She’s glad, she doesn’t feel as alone as before. She’s at some form of peace.

“Maybe I’ll find mine as well, just at a later time.” He pulled back the sleeve of his shirt and stared at the mark. His own special little curse. He frowned slightly at the thought of it and all th pain it brought him. “Maybe someday I’ll be rid of this curse.”

Tell me I’m not the only one seeing this:

  • technically princes
  • their mothers could use magic
  • responsible for their fathers’ death
  • wanted to be worshipped and be emperors
  • thirsty for big sources of power apparently
  • masters of deceit and manipulation
  • no worries you’ll still be sad for their death
  • they’ve been YEETED at least once
  • fabulous hair

misfits-den  asked:

KnighAU, PirateAU... what about ArabicAU? Ringleader of mercenaries Yusei? Jack tried once to get into class above by stealing some treasure of Yusei? Aki as a shaman, maybe marked by a demon so that's why she's avoided? Rua and Ruka are from higher class, but Rua was about to be forced into marriage so they run away with Yusei's band? Crow working with Yusei to get food for the poorer? I probably should have done more research before speaking but I just watched a ton of belly-dancing vids
