Today, I greeted Native Youth on Victoria Island and Parliament Hill (Ottawa, Canada). They have walked all the way from Winnipeg, for a total of 2,100KM. They walked for unity and to protect the water on our Earth. I also met with David Kawapit, who was a Nishiyuu who walked 1,600KM last April for unity amongst First Nations, and to prove that the Cree nation aren’t sellouts.

The little girl I am posed with is 10 years old and has completed this walk. These are the people, the youth we should admire, and look up too. They are the true role models. The youth are the leaders of today.
