Wow. Who would have thought the ending of SKAM would come so soon, huh? One damn wild ride, but do I regret joining this fandom and enjoying the show with everyone? Absolutely not. This show has opened my eyes - and to a lot. It broke new ground and stereotypes of TV shows, and that’s phenomenal. It grown to be known so fast, and in a good way. People deserve to see this show and how much truth of the real world is in it.
It shows the struggles of finding yourself, and your own thoughts and having to cut people off in order to make your life better - it shows that not everyone has a perfect life and that you should be kind with everyone because you have no idea what they are going through - it shows that coming to terms with who you are is difficult, and never easy, but you find someone that helps you immensely with who you are - it shows that people with mental illness live a normal life but things can change in an instant for them and those around them - it shows that those who are POC deserve understanding, not judging. It shows that not everyone is quick to understand but quick to generalize with what or who they are associated with.
I’m so grateful I decided to watch this show, meet so many great people who I am now great friends with. This fandom came with so much positivity, but it did have it’s negative lows but it’s still been fun.
It’s been such a great time here watching this show and crying and screaming over it, seeing it do so well for Julie and above all, the actors and actresses.
It’s been fun - wild - crazy - but a good time through and through.
Alt er love, everyone.
