your life in words

You’re doing an absolutely amazing job. You really are. Sometimes you may screw up, or make mistakes, but we all do sometimes. Just keep up all of your amazing work, friend, and remember that one setback does not erase all of the good that you’ve accomplished.

Relax. Breathe. It’s okay, you have time. Take it day by day and allow things to unfold as they’re meant to. Your life will happen according to its own timing, and you will become the person you’re meant to be.

Forget me. Forget the colour of my eyes and the feel of my skin. The way my hair looks in the sunlight. The way I cough and choke a bit when I laugh, like a smoker who has had one too many cigarettes. Forget the sound of my voice. Forget how shy I get when meeting new people, and my reluctance for trying new things, in fear that I will make a fool of myself. Please just forget me. Let the memories of me fade out like a dated photograph. Let my image crumble and deteriorate into nothing. Please just forget me, for it will make this easier on me.
Don’t rush yourself. Give yourself the time you need to heal. Then, continue once you’ve regained your strength, and feel ready. Don’t be rushed. You have time.

Believe it or not, you can train yourself. Mentally. Train yourself to see the positive in every situation. Train your mind to be a self motivator, not a dependant. Be a thinker. Keep an open mind towards new things that are presented to you. It may not happen overnight, although you are more than capable of seeing things from a different perspective.
