your life begins each morning

Let Go Of The Past

Everybody goes through disappointments and setbacks from time to time, but if we hold on to hurt and pain, we end up living negative and bitter lives. Maybe you’ve made some mistakes or some poor choices, and now you’re tempted to sit around feeling guilty and condemned, thinking you wish you had chosen another career or married that other person.

It’s so easy to live life focused on that rearview mirror. We can’t do anything about the past, and we have no guarantees regarding the future; we can only do something about right now. The good news is, your past does not have to poison your future. God still has good things in store for you. He wants to take that negative situation, turn it around, and use it to your advantage.

Joel Osteen

“Whether one is twenty, forty, sixty, or eighty; whether one has succeeded, failed or just muddled along - life begins each morning!
The greatest fact in life is that it is never too late to start again. Biography simply overflows with inspiring examples of this truth. However discouraging your days may have been, keep this thought burning brightly in your mind: life begins each morning!”

TODAY’s WORD:

Quit Comparing

If you want to live in victory, you can’t let your past poison your future. It’s time to allow your emotional wounds heal. Quit comparing your life to someone else’s and quit dwelling on what could or should have been. Quit asking questions such as, “Why this?” or “Why that?” or “Why me?” Let go of those hurts and pains. Forgive the people who did you wrong. Forgive yourself for the mistakes you’ve made.

Joel Osteen

Shake off the Baggage

Some people have lived so long in self-pity that it has become part of their identity. They don’t realize that GOD wants to restore what’s been stolen.

If you’re not willing to let go of the old, don’t expect GOD to do the new. If you’ve had some unfair things happen to you, make a decision that you’re going to quit reliving those things in your memory. Instead, think on good things, things that will build you up and not tear you down, things that will encourage you and give you the hope that there’s a brighter tomorrow.

Joel Osteen

STAND STRONG

It doesnt matter what youre going through, or how big your opponents are. Keep an attitude of faith. Stay calm. Stay in a positive frame of mind. And dont try to do it all your own way. Let GOD do it HIS way. If you will simply obey HIS commands, HE will change things in your favor.

The Bible says, “Dont get weary and faint in your mind” (see Hebrews 12:3). Remember, stand strong. When negative thoughts come, reject them and replace them with God’s thoughts. When youre in that attitude of faith, you are opening the door for God to work in your situation. You may not see anything happening in your situation. You may not see anything happening with your natural eyes, but in the unseen realm, in the spiritual world, GOD is at work! And if you’ll do your part and keep believing, at the right time, GOD will bring you out with the victory.

Joel Osteen

Be a Victor

To live your best life now requires that you believe you are a victor and not a victim. When you go through disappointments in life-and we all do-of when you face a setback and it looks as though one of your dreams has died, keep believing. When it looks dark and dreary and you don’t see any way out, remind yourself that your heavenly Father created the whole universe. He is in control of your life, guiding and directing your steps.

His plans for you are good and not evil. Don’t make the mistake of sitting around feeling sorry for yourself. No, put on a fresh new attitude. Take what God has given you and make the most of it. You know the truth; it’s time to allow that truth to set you FREE.

Joel Osteen

Live to Please God

God has given you the grace to do what He’s called you to do. He has not given you the grace to do what everybody else is doing. Take care of yourself; quit looking at what everybody else is doing. Be your best, regardless of whether you come in first or last, whether you get the big promotion or not, whether you make the grade or fall on your face in failure. If you do, you can hold your head high.

Granted, you will face enormous pressure to do what everybody else is doing, to try to please everybody and meet all their expectations. Accept the fact that everybody’s not going to agree with every decision you make. But you dont have to please everyone else; you need to please only God.

Todays Word: Stop adding up your problems and start counting your blessings. He has his hand on you. Have a great Friday everyone. #TeamPositivity

The Bible says, “Let the weakling say, ‘I am strong’ ” (Joel 3:10). Start calling yourself healed, happy, whole, blessed, and prosperous. God is a miracle-working God. Stop talking to God about how big your mountains are, and start talking to your mountains about how big your God is!!! - Joel Osteen

“REACH OUT BY FAITH” - Change your way of thinking and don’t easily GIVE UP! GOD wants to pour out in our life. Stop dwelling on the NEGATIVE, destructive thoughts that keep you in a rut. Your life will CHANGE when you CHANGE your thinking.

GOD has so much more in store for you. If you want to see God’s far and beyond favor, you have to start believing it, seeing it, and speaking it. (Excerpt from Joel Osteen “Your life begins each morning”)

TODAY’S WORD: “Don’t Become Bitter”

When you go through situations you don’t understand, don’t become bitter. Learn to do what David did: just wash your face, keep a good attitude, and move on. If you will stay in an attitude of faith and victory. God has promised that He will turn those emotional wounds around. He’ll use them to your advantage, and you will come out better than you would have had they not happen to you.

Joel Osteen

UNCHANGING VALUE

This morning, imagine that I am handing you a new, crisp one-hundred-dollar bill. Would you want it? Probably so! If I crumpled it, you’d still wait it. And threw it on the ground and stomped on it until the picture on the bill was barely perceptible, you’d still want it, because you know that a beat-up hundred-dollar bill is still worth a hundred dollars.

That’s the way God sees each of us. We all go through challenges and struggles. Sometimes we feel like that crumpled and soiled hundred-dollar bill. But, in fact, we will never, ever lose our value, which has been placed in us by the Creator of the universe. Nobody can take it away from us.

J. Osteen

WHEN YOU FEEL WEAK -

God see’s you as a CHAMPION. He believes in you and regards you as a strong, courageous, successful, overcoming person. You may not see yourself that way, but that doesnt change God’s image of you. God still sees you exactly as His Word describes you. Learn to love yourself as your heavenly Father loves you.

LIFE ISN’T FAIR

We live in a society that LOVES to make EXCUSES, and one of our favorite phrases is: “It’s mot my fault.” But the truth is, if we are bitter and resentful, it’s because we are allowing ourselves to remain that way. We’ve all had negative things happen to us. If you look hard enough, anyone can make excuses and blame the past for his bad attitude, poor choices, or hot temper.

It’s time to let go of your excuses and to get rid of you victim mentality. Nobody-not even God-ever promised that life would be fair. If you bring it all to Jesus and let it go, today can be a new beginning.

Joel Osteen

SAY IT BOLDLY

“I’m getting better and better every day, in every way.” When you say something often enough, with enthusiasm and passion, before long your subconscious mind begins to act on what you are saying, doing whatever is necessary to bring those thoughts and words to pass. If you struggle with low self-esteem or even depression, go overboard in speaking words of victory about your life. Get up each morning and say, “I am valuable and loved. God has a great plan for my life. I’m excited about my future.” There truly is POWER IN YOUR WORDS.

Joel Osteen

More than Conquerors

If you will start acting like it, talking like it, seeing yourself as more than a conqueror, you will live a prosperous and victorious life. The price has already been paid for you to have joy, peace, and happiness. That’s part of the package that God has made available to you.

Start looking thought eyes of faith, seeing yourself rising to new levels. See yourself prospering, and keep that image in your heart and mind. You may be living in poverty at the moment, but dont ever let poverty live in you. The Bible shows that God takes pleasure in prospering His children. As His children prosper spiritually, physically, and materially, their increase brings God pleasure.

—  J. Osteen
Be Careful with your Words - Do you see the power of your words? Be extremely careful about what you allow to come out of your mouth. The next time you’re tempted to talk down to somebody, to belittle them or degrade them, remember, you can’t ever get those words back. Once you speak them, they take on a life of their own. Make sure it’s a good life.
—  Joel Osteen

Develop a Healthy Self-Image

But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me was not in vain. 1 Corthians 15:10 NKJV

Every person has an image of himself or herself. Psychologists have proven that you will most consistently perform in a manner that is in harmony with the image you have of yourself. If you see yourself as unqualified, unattractive, inferior, or inadequate, you will probably act in accordance with your thoughts.

Individuals who view themselves as God sees them are usually happy about who they are. They can honestly say “Thank You, Father, for creating me the way You did. I’d rather be me than any other person on earth. I know that You have a purpose and plan for me, and I can’t wait to discover it!

True self-esteem can be based only on what God says about you-not on what you think or feel about yourself. You are who God says you are.

J. Osteen

TODAY’s WORD: Move Forward

If you’re going to go forward in life, you must quit looking backward. Why? Because your life if going to follow your thoughts. If you’re constantly dwelling on all the negative things that have happened to you, focused on what you’ve done wrong, you’re perpetuating that problem. You will never be truly happy as long as you harbor bitterness in your heart.

Perhaps you’ve been blaming God for taking on of your loved ones or because your situation didn’t work out after you prayed about it. If you don’t deal with it, you will wallow in self-pity. You must let go of those negative attitudes and the accompanying anger. LET IT GO!!!

Joel Osteen

You Get What You Say

“May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, O Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer.” (Psalms 19:14)

We get what we say.. Our words become self-fulfilling prophecies. Negative thoughts birth negative words, and negative actions follow. THE POWER OF YOUR WORDS - Our words have tremendous power and are similar seeds.

By speaking aloud, they are planted in our subconscious minds, take root, grow, and produce fruit of the same kind. Whether we speak positive or negative words, we will reap exactly what we sow. That’s why we need to be extremely careful what we think and say.

Your tongue controls the direction of your life. You create an environment for either good or evil with your words, and if you’re always murmuring, complaining, and talking how bad life is treating you, you’re going to live in a pretty miserable world. Use your words to change your negative situations and fill them with life.
