Lin would cry the day you were born but he would also brag a lot.
He’d shower you with gifts but he was also careful not to overdo it
Chances are, (depending on your age and whatever year you’d picture this for) you’d be friends with a lot of the Hamilton cast/ and or their kids
There’s no doubt about it you’d be a freestyling genius much like him and musically talented.
And Lin would be so proud of this
Lin’s heart would melt every time you called him ‘dad’
He is probably one of the most caring, sweetest, and involved father out there.
And if your mother wasn’t in the picture, Lin would be sure to work to fill in her shoes.
He would attend all your school events and extra curriculars too.
On mother’s day he would plan a brunch inviting his sister and mother over making sure you knew you weren’t alone when it came to the amount of females in your life.
Whenever he goes to Richard Rodgers Theatre or goes to work for whatever project he’s working on he is constantly pulling his phone out to show his fellow coworkers pictures of you
He can’t help it
But one thing is for sure, Lin would make sure you knew how strong of a woman you were. Being a strong activist for equal rights Lin knew how easy it was for girls in today’s society to feel weak and defeated by the powerful and he never wanted you to experience that. So he would make post-it notes and stick them in your lunchbox, on your mirror, and anywhere he could find with sayings such as…
“I am woman hear me roar!” “Though she be but little, she is fierce!” “A strong woman looks fear in the eye and gives it but a wink.” “You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem and smarter than you think.”
And because your father is one of the most encouraging and inspiring figures in the world, not only in tweets but reality as well, he excels at giving the best, most needed pep talks when you’re down in the dumps.
Lin had you speaking Spanish as soon as you said your first word
Lin would practically document your entire life. He liked taping you and taking pictures while you were doing casual activities such as coloring, singing, dancing, playing with your dolls, running around the house, etc.
Tobillo basically being your best friend
That dog follows you wherever you go
Lin has thousands of videos from when you were learning to walk, practically waddling around and Tobillo was right on your heel the entire time following you.
The whole Hamilton cast would be obsessed with you
That girl loved you as if you were her own
And if you were old enough, you would join the Schuyler Sisters in their inbetween shows closet talk.
Sleep overs at Jasmine and Anthony’s while your dad is out of town
And they would absolutely LOVE having you over
You made them want to have kids that much more and Anthony loved taking you to the movies and Jasmine loved taking you out shopping
Speaking of shopping, Renee, Jasmine, and Phillipa are always spoiling you with the newest trends and what nots.
The Hamilton cast would be like another family to you
Always running around backstage with Groffsauce, who usually was assign babysitting duty.
The Schuyler sisters- as well as Leslie teaching you how to harmonize
Daveed loved helping you with your freestyling
You and him always got in heated battles- in good spirits of course
Playing childish games during intermission and between shows with Oak, Daveed, and Anthony.
Trying to braid your dad’s hair during his Hamilton days
Let’s be real, Lin would dedicate Dear Theodosia to you
And during Stay Alive (reprise) and It’s Quiet Uptown he had genuine tears pinching at his eyes as he fathomed the thought of losing you
But Lin would always run to you and spin you around every night after shows
The two of you would walk hand and hand together home and Lin would sing you to sleep every night
He’d love making you breakfast and basking in that domestic life
I could see him making some of the best pancakes in the world
And one morning when you were little, you convinced him to let you have a sip of his coffee
“Daddy, what’s that black stuff in there.” “It’s called coffee, bebé.” “Can I try some?” “Uh, I don’t think so, Y/n. You wouldn’t like it.” “Please, papi.” “Oh alright.”
Like he predicted, you hated it. The liquid burned your throat and young little you cried at the bitterness for at least a minute which broke Lin’s heart.
Lin would be the type of parent that would love to show you off to family and friends but when it came to posting pictures of you on social media, he usually made sure your face was covered, just to keep an element of privacy in his life.
But he does love tweeting stories about you or cute things that you do
Your childhood years would be a little hectic. Lin probably wouldn’t be around as much as he wants with filming, acting, composing and all but he would make an effort of a lifetime to be as involved as possible.
By your late teens you had already seen much of the world but that didn’t mean you were bored by any mean. Adventure was in your soul.
Lin would spend a lot of time with you during his time working with the film Moana. He liked to come to you to find inspiration.
Family trips to Disney World and Land
Lin is constantly trying to help you with his homework
“You know I was a teacher.”
Coming to him when you start learning about the American Revolution
“Well I mean you came to right person. I did write an entire musical about this stuff. Just use the album for a reference, it’s mostly accurate.”
Walking into your house one day after school infuriated as you set your pop quiz on the Schuyler Sisters in front of him, a large 9/10 circled with red pen.
“And I quote, I’m the oldest and the wittiest… My father has no sons… dad you cost me a perfect score! Why did you lie in the lyrics, I thought you said I could trust them!” “I’m sorry I forgot they had other siblings!”
Similar to your father, you swore like a sailor
Which also meant you were constantly getting scolded and death glares from your father who claims “He didn’t raise you to speak like that.” Even though you both know he did.
But honestly I could see Lin being into girl drama. Like when he picks you up from school and sees an annoyed look on your face he’d just shake his head and say,
“Spill the tea, honey. I’m ready!”
And on your bad days after dropping you off at home after school, Lin would drive to the nearest DQ and Chick-Fil-A and movie store returning home with gifts in toll.
He was one of the only people in the world you trusted enough to tell everything too
Dad jokes, so many dad jokes.
“Dad I’m thirsty. Do we have any-“ “Hi thirsty nice to meet you I’m Lin-Manuel.”
Being very close with your grandparents
Your grandpa teaching you how to cook
Your grandma would spoil you tbh
Girl talk with your Aunt Luz
Your dad would be really big on making sure you knew and understood the importance of equality and treating others with respect.
Weekly meals at their place where your grandpa is also telling tales
“You know pequeño, when your father was your age I couldn’t get him to shut up!” “Papi-“ “He was always doing his rapping, talking fast and never making sense but he had passion just like yourself so don’t you ever give up on yourself carino. If your father did he would not be where he is today- and neither would you.” “Thank you abuelo.”
And when you finally do make it, doing whatever or being wherever that may be, you’ll have Lin’s as well as the rest of your families support because Lin knows exactly what it feels like to have millions of people doubt you and laugh at you for doing the unexpected so his support will never run out.
When Lin finds out you have a passion for writing and composing, he immediately takes you with him for a daddy daughter date to the studio.
He pretends to be out of ideas for a song and you play along knowing it would be a lot less painful to take the easy path.
“Well there are a few different projects I’ve been working on lately. They aren’t too good… pretty shitty-“ “Y/n.” “Sorry… but uh, you can have a look I suppose.”
Becoming a co writer beside your dad on his next project
Going on walks and hikes together with Tobillo
But for real though Lin would be insanely protective over you
Like when it comes to you Lin always needs to know where you are and constantly has eyes on you
When you got your first boyfriend/girlfriend Lin would FLIP
You’d suddenly become a player in the game ’21 questions’ or more like 101 questions when it came to your dad
He demanded meeting your significant other and no matter the gender, he held his strong demeanor and hardly cracked a smile- well until he saw how happy you looked in their presence.
But eventually he’d come to term with it. Although he would always see you as his little girl, he knew you had to spread your wings and he was not about to hold you back from doing so.
And when you finally land a lead role on an upcoming Broadway show, Lin is ecstatic.
Every day he calls you to ask how rehearsals are going partly because he’s interested and excited for you but also because he remembers his restless days and nights where he’d come home so stressed he’d forget to eat for days. He didn’t want to see you go through the hardships he did.
Ironically enough the new production is held, opening night, in the same old theater you grew up in, Richard Rodgers. Home sweet home.
And on opening night you can guarantee your father is sitting front row with four bouquets of various flowers surrounded by all your family and friends as well as a handful of the original and new Hamilton cast.
And he would cry. A lot.
But he would also be that dad that right before the show starts, as the lights are dimming, he stands up and shouts,
His proud dad tweets would be never ending that night
After the production he was sure to be the first backstage and the first to hug you.
“You did it, you did it! I’m so proud of you, mi ángel. Congratulations!”
You’d be lying to yourself if you said your dad didn’t have a surprise party planned for after the play because he did.
Not to be a downer but there would be days where Lin would cry himself to sleep thinking he hasn’t done enough, or given you the life you deserve. He worked himself far too hard to make sure you had everything you could ever need and knew you were loved, but sometimes he couldn’t help but fear the worst.
Although at times he can be overbearing, you wouldn’t want it anyway else.
This was so fun to write oh my lord, hope you enjoyed!
rang in the pocket of your jacket making you jump by surprise. You answered the
call before showing your index to your friend Archie, meaning that it would
only take a minute.

I’m good! What about you?” From the corner of your eye, you would’ve swore you
saw Archie rolling his eyes.
So, what are you up to this evening? I thought we maybe could’ve hung out
tonight. You know, me, you, at Pop’s?” You chuckled lightly.
Juggie, I was planning on spending the night with Archie… You can tag along
if you want? I’m sure he wouldn’t mind.” A small sigh made its way into your
ear. You had to admit that you spent a lot of your recent time with your new
red-haired friend. Jughead still occupied the position of best friend. He
didn’t have to worry about it.

before you heard back,
sure.” You pursed your lips, mentally cursing yourself. It wasn’t the first
time that you had turned down your best of friend for Archie. Lately it had
been happening more than before. It made you feel like the worst pal.
With that, Jughead hung up. You understood how he felt. It wasn’t right that
you weren’t spending as much time with him.
wasn’t it?” You looked up and saw Archie sprawled across the black beanbag in
your bedroom. His hands were attached on the new acoustic guitar his dad had
got him for his birthday. You nodded and played with the sleeves of you

rested on the waist of the guitar. A few seconds later, a pleasant melody
filled the room. Archie then started singing the lyrics he had written. The
song wasn’t bad at all. In fact, it was quite catchy. The redhead friend of
yours had talent. Before Archie could go on, you blurted out something you soon

boys stopped talking completely. When you mentioned one of them to the other, you saw the irritation and
annoyance in their expression.

ditching me at the last minute, that’s how your making things better? I didn’t
think of you as an inconsiderate and selfish person.” He replied bitterly. In
all the time of you guy’s friendship, you had never seen this side of Archie.
Usually, he would be sweet and just shrug off any problem that faced his way.
But the words he had just told you, they hurt your heart. Your eyes were
starting to fill up with tears and your bottom lip started quivering.

treating me like this?”
what? I don’t want to spend any more of my time with you right now.” With
that, Archie got up and left you alone in your room. Without even noticing, a
trail of tears had made its way down your cheeks. A sob escaped your mouth and
your hands covered your face as you poured your heart out. You laid in your bed
and continued crying.
It was all
your fault. Archie now hated you and would probably never talk to you again.
Why did you had to be so stupid? If only you had kept your mouth shut. Maybe he
still would have been on that beanbag, singing.
an hour later, you heard the wooden creek of your door meaning that someone was
coming in. You didn’t even move, your pillow pressed against your face. The
mattress shifted to the side from the sudden weight that it now had on it. You
felt a piece of your hair being put behind your ear. You smiled at the sweet
gesture and assumed it was your mother. You slowly got up and saw Jughead
sitting beside you. Automatically, you vaulted in his arms tearing up once
It’s going to be okay.” He rubbed your back comfortingly. Your forehead was
against his chest, his two upper limbs protectively holding you. Your eyes were
probably red from all the crying but you couldn’t care less. You continued
sobbing in his chest until you eventually felt calmer.

with his thumb.

to worry about (y/n/n). I never liked that jersey anyway.” You giggle with
your best friend. You sniffed and observed Jughead who his face was only about
a foot away from you. You had to admit that he was good looking. His prefect
blue eyes were mesmerising and his pink lips appeared so kissable. Forever you
considered the boy as nothing more than a platonic relationship to you. Never
had you ever felt anything for him. But in that moment, something clicked. Jughead
wasn’t only a friend to you, not even a best friend. A stronger feeling overwhelmed your body. You
felt love. You loved Jughead Jones.
He was the one who your mother called when you were sad. He was the one who came rushing to
your house as soon as your mother hung up. He was the one who was holding you and
comforting you, whispering sweet nothing to you as you were crying. He
was the one who was there for you.
He raised his eyebrows at you.
You asked yourself in your mind if it was the right time to confess your
feelings towards him. Your breathing started quickening as the anxiety rose in
I-” He watched you with intending eyes, indicating to continue your phrase.
“I think I
love you.” Jughead eyeballed you, astonished at your revelation. He quietly
answered, almost inaudible for you to hear.
“I think I
love you too.” He leaned towards you and slowly pressed his lips to yours.
Fireworks were going off in your stomach. The heaviness on your shoulders
disappeared. In this moment, nothing else mattered in the world. Both of your
lips moved in sync as you played with his raven locks. His arms pulled you
closer to him, leaving no space between you two. Jughead backed away and kissed
every each of your face, including your cheeks, temple and chin.
the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen.” He whispered in your ear. You gave
him a last long peck on the lips before saying,
want to lay down and cuddle with me?” He moved his head up and down calmly and
took a blanket that was already on the bed to cover you. Cuddling was not
something new for the both of you. You had always cuddled together, and
whenever. His hand ran through your hair bringing a comforting and fuzzy
feeling. His body pressed behind your back and his hot breath was tingling your
neck. Before you even knew it, you and Jughead had fallen in a deep slumber,
both dreaming about each other.
Like a whole bunch of other people, I saw @charminglyantiquated ’s Elsewhere University Comic and got SUPER INSPIRED. And since she’s so generously encouraging other people to play in her sandbox, I present ‘Feathers’. EDIT : PART 2 HERE
You go to Elsewhere University. You’ve been going to Elsewhere University for (years and years and years and years) for three years now. You know how things are. You’re not an RA, but… Mm, you could have been.
Might still be. Aren’t yet.
This is your junior year (you think). You know how things are. You carry salt in one pocket, iron in another, trinkets to bargain away in your book bag, offerings in your purse, pearls around your neck.
• y'all are always hugging each other
• hand kisses
• laughing your asses off with eachother
• him staring at your butt a lot instead of just smacking, grabbing, or rubbing it cause he’s a lil punk
• “just touch it and stop staring!”
• “my eyes are touching it y/n..”
• happy weirdos
• he thinks that he’s the funniest guy ever but you don’t so you fake laugh a lot
• but it’s only to gas him
• you love gassing up your hard working baby
• after his performances, you’ll usually be backstage with a towel, water, and kisses
• “you did well baby”
• he’d hug you but you’ll just push his sweaty ass away
• “ew get the fuck off of me”
• he’d straight face you and walk away, taking the towel and water but he would understand why you said that when he got to the dressing room and laugh with the other members about it
• soft boyfriend
• he just wants his kisses
• you are the big spoon sis
• running your fingers through his hair
• he’ll fall asleep fast
• you taught him how to braid so when he’s at the dorms, he tries to braid the members hair but fails
• he always tells you and you-
• “baby their hair is straight af, now look at mine”
• “ohh right”
• for some reason, he loves kissing your belly like you’re pregnant or sum
• but he tells you that it’s because y'all dance in bed a lot so you could never know
• which scares you most of the time
• “chill you dick”
• foot massages
• him writing smol songs about you
• he calls you cutie or princess or just baby instead of sexy or any name along those lines
• sitting on his lap
• not caring if you play around with the members because he knows where your heart is
• “i love this what did you put in it?!”
• “it’s ham and cheese”
• y'all are so bubbly
• not really that innocent
• y'all barely disagree with each other
• singing karaoke together
• ‘thirsty for love’ faced ass
• but as your relationship gets older, he comes around with the butt touching etc
• he’s such a tease
• he keeps his arm wrapped around you a lot
• going shopping together
• he can’t go thirty minutes without checking up on you
• he randomly raps in your ear when y'all are cuddling
• which drives you wild
• his voice is so cute and-
• he adores you and he thanks you everyday for being in his packed schedule ass life
• it’s really hard seeing him late at night when he’s been practicing with two groups all day nonstop
• so sometimes y'all hold eachother the tightest you can and lowkey tear up.
• yeah, y'all fall asleep in each other’s arms often
• you pray for him every night
• you cook him his favorite meal when he says that he’s hungry
• he cleans the plate everytime
• he calls you his wife a lot because i mean, you will be his wife
• he loves you a lot, just as much as you love him and he would never hurt you

[+11,435; -2,003] this really breaks my image of him… proves how you can’t judge someone from their personality on camera
[+9,386; -1,983] all this time he was pretending to be super innocent haha all those stupid fangirls throwing money at him blindly must be going crazy
[+5,903; -1,234]i mean everyone goes through break-ups, but he was cosplaying as an innocent guy who was scared of skinship with girls all these years.. lmao he’s super shamel–
The words on the screen in front of him all blurred and bled into one big stain. He quickly scrolled through the hundreds and hundreds of comments, each more condemning than the last. A steady pressure was building in his ears, until the only thing he could see or feel were the accusations of a faceless crowd, all jeering at him loudly, fingers pointed.
It was as if his entire life flashed in front of his eyes right then, and he could suddenly recall every inconsequential and significant thing that had shaped his life the past seven years
– the hours and hours spent in front of the mirror rehearsing the same steps over and over again, the taste of soggy ramen Hoseok hyung had let overcook last week, the screams of fans, the sound of his alarm clock, the look on your face when you told him it was over. There was no chronology to the kaleidoscope of fleeting glimpses of his past.
“What,” he breathed, hands shaking, eyes wide and disbelieving as his phone fell with a clatter on the table. He desperately wanted to ignore reality, but the stares that were all focused on him kept him grounded to the present.
Of course his first scandal would be linked to you.
It’s four am and the
diner is quiet. Derek finishes wiping down a table; life as usual, he’s alone,
he’s at work, everything goes on as it does. He refills coffee for the two
tired-looking truckers sitting at the counter and goes back to refilling the
The last time Cora was
home, she’d asked if he and Laura ever considered selling the place. “Doesn’t
do much business,” she said, trying to be gentle. Say it was okay to let go.
But she’d only been a baby when the accident happened that took their parents;
she didn’t have memories growing up here the way Derek and Laura did, playing
hide-and-seek under the counters, watching their dad bake pies and their mom
fill coffee, listening to travelers talk about their lives on the road.
Hale’s is fifty miles from the nearest town in either direction, a
blink-and-miss-it diner still stuck in the ‘50s, right off the Pacific Coast
Highway. The little town of Beacon Hills is an hour away, so almost all the
patrons are travellers, people looking for respite from the road, on their way
up to the redwoods or heading down to San Francisco and Los Angeles. There’s a
little wall of autographs from famous people who’ve dined here; cowboys and
starlets and authors and people Derek’s parents took a shine to. The diner is a
historic landmark, not to mention it’s always been home to Derek.
So Laura manages the day
shift and Derek does the night. It works out well; he doesn’t have to interact
with people much. He and Laura were homeschooled until high school, and Derek
had found Beacon Hills High School overwhelming with its crowds.
The radio starts a new
song; it’s one of Derek’s favorites. He doesn’t remember the name of the
artist, but it makes Derek feel alive. The song lyrics aren’t
particularly sensual, but the man’s voice is— Derek shudders, feeling his blood
run hot under his skin, and he imagines the warm touch of someone pulling him
close, embracing him, kissing him—
“Can I take this coffee
“Oh. Sure,” Derek says,
pouring the trucker’s coffee into a plastic cup.
They leave him a decent
tip and are off, the bell jingling as they go.
Derek sighs, watching
the moonlight dance across the ocean in the distance. He listens to the
rustling of the trees, and occasionally a car will drive past the diner, lights
He turns off the radio
and hums the song to himself as he sweeps up.
There’s longing here, of
a love long lost, and Derek is lost to the song, to the memories it drags up.
Nothing but the sound of
waves crashing on the shore, the white hot sun burning just beyond Derek’s
closed eyes. He can feel the warm body next to him stir awake, and then fingers
carding through his hair.
“Derek… hey. You awake?”
“Nope,” Derek says, and he
can already picture it: Stiles leaning over him, his hair still wet, eyes
bright with laughter.
The song that’s sung is obviously not mine, it’s by State Champs. Listen HERE.
You transferred into Berkeley college in the beginning of your sophomore year. You hated starting a new school, but at least it was college and not high school. You’d been here a few weeks. You hadn’t made any friends yet, just your roommate, but you were more acquaintances. She was an art major and a little quirky, plus her boyfriend lived off campus so she wasn’t around much.
Being a music major had it perks. There were a lot of hot guys in the music department, but most of them were too involved with their own projects to notice you. You were pretty quiet, always lost in your own head. No one would have guessed that you weren’t the least bit shy. And you liked to keep it that way.
However, life had become boring. You finally had the hang of your classes and schedule but you needed to find something else to do with your time. Which is why you found yourself in the music building, standing in front of the bulletin board. Most of the notices were the same, people selling instruments or looking for them, people looking for practice space, advertisements for open mic nights. But one flier in particular caught your eye.
It wasn’t fancy at all, maybe a little creased and wrinkled from being in someone’s pocket. It was plain white, written on with black Sharpie.
FOR COVER BAND
MUST LIKE/PLAY ROCK MUSIC, POP PUNK.
There was a crudely drawn Chewbacca next to it, holding what looked to be a guitar. You chewed your bottom lip in thought. You could do that. You fit the qualifications. You pulled out your phone, typing the number in and saving it to your contacts for later.
BTS’s reaction to you playing their song on the piano:
A/N: Here you are, sweetie ❤️ I really hope you enjoy it! Hopefully it’s as filled full of feels as you wanted~
Jin: Jin pricks his ears, and listens to the melodious chords fluttering to his ears. You haven’t played the piano in a while. It’s good to finally hear the dusty old instrument in use. He heads towards the sound, before a bout of realisation has him stopping at the door,
where just inside he can see your curved figure leaning over the keys, sweeping the music along with your fingers. He knows this tune. It’s his tune - ‘Awake’.
And without any warning - no cracking or breaking, just out of the blue, like thunder in June - tears well up in his eyes, and shimmer to the brink of spilling
over. Of all the songs you could have picked, you picked the one he needs to hear. He can still
remember the emotions that tumbled through him when he first sang this song: the desperation he felt to keep up with his six brothers, the terror he recoiled from, a fear of falling behind. Yet, here he is, years later, still trembling and afraid, but trying
hard to mask it – reduced to tears behind the living room door. Except… no. Things have changed. Back then, he didn’t have you – you, who keep his chin up, and his eyes fixed firmly on the clouds. You, who believe without
an inkling of a doubt that he can go further, stretch farther, and climb
higher than he ever realised. You, who everyday whisper to him, ‘Kim
Seokjin, how luck am I to have you?’ Really, he should be the one asking you. After all, if it weren’t for you, he’d still be on the ground,
tear-dampened gaze filtering to fickle mist-clouds he could never reach. Now,
here he is, flying – soaring – because of you. Up past blue and into the star
sprinkled black of space.
The tears are falling now, but they feel good – warm and
wet like a spring shower. It’s been a while since he cried - properly, like this. He opens the door, and you turn in your seat to
face him, and when he holds out his arms, you run to him, and burrow into his heat. While you rest your head in the
crook between his shoulder and his neck, he sings the rest of the tune in
low tones. “Maybe I can’t touch the sky, but I’ll stretch my arm.”
Yoongi: It has been a tough day for Min Yoongi. He’s been sat in the
studio all afternoon, all evening, and well into the night, fiddling on his laptop, trying to
get the latest track just right. When he closes his eyes,
he can still see the square of light from his screen, burned in blue onto his
retina. He arrives back at his house, completely drained of energy, only to be
greeted by a gentle wave of music when he opens the door. And despite all the muscles in his face being past their stretching
point, they still manage to push up into a smile when he hears you tinkling away
on the piano, playing a song he produced (of course, nothing else would do for
you), playing something he hasn’t heard in a while - ‘Tomorrow’.
You stop playing when you hear him enter the room,
peeking over your shoulder at his tired face.
“Please continue,” he rasps.
Your brows tip up in concern, sensing how tired he is, but
you return to your music without pressing him with a ‘how was your day?’. In a few steps he’s sitting down on your right-hand
side, and his fingers fitting into the groves of the worn ivory keys, he
unfolds a gentle harmony in the treble cleft.
You continue on, the both of you enraptured in the music,
until Yoongi’s playing fades away, and as you turn to him, wondering why he’s
stopped, his head lolls onto your shoulder. Smiling, you brush a few stray wisps
of hair away from his face. “Tired?”
He nods into your shoulder, eyes closing as you pick up the
tune again, slower and more lullaby-like.
“Rest all you want,” you tell him, “I’m not letting you go
back to work, until I know you’ve fully recovered.” Then, as he slowly slips into sleep, you whisper the lyrics from ‘Tomorrow’ he needs to hear most: “Wherever you are right now, you’re just taking a break. Don’t give up… Don’t get too far away, tomorrow.”
Hoseok: Outside, the wind whisks up a torrent of leaves, clattering in shades
of frozen amber against your window, but inside, cut off from the cold autumn
storm, it glows with warmth, drenched in the heat of love and affection – mainly Hoseok’s love
and affection, directed at you. As you sit at the piano, running through a soft
re-imagining of ‘Autumn Leaves’, he watches in appreciation, head resting in his
hands, breath snatched away at the way your fingers ghost across the keys, eyes half-closed, drowned in the melody.
As the final chords hang in the air, Hoseok rouses himself from the trance you have placed him in and begins clapping in
appreciation – the sole audience member in this private concert. “Wow! Y/N, just… wow! That was… wow….” He tries to search
for a word to aptly describe the feelings you have stirred in him, but nothing
surfaces, so instead, he crosses the distance between you, and expresses himself with a gentle hand on your cheek and a breathy kiss that presses warmth into your lips.
When he pulls away, your fingers reach out, wanting him
back – and, smiling, he obliges, balancing on the edge of the piano stool so he
can be that extra bit closer to you.
With the first pitter-patters of rain starting up outside, Hoseok starts up another kind of storm with you –
flurries of kisses dropping down onto your skin. As the leaves fall, you fall in love.
Namjoon: Sometimes, Namjoon really doesn’t like himself. When it’s
late in the evening, and the light’s fading, he really doesn’t like himself. When he’s wasted away the day, erasing work, rather than progressing, he really doesn’t like himself. When he can’t
force a smile without cracking, he really doesn’t
But, at least he’s coming home to you. And he knows that, despite all
the negativity that’s oozing through him like sewage water, you love him. Even in moments of doubt, like right now, when he arrives home,
faded, and ghostly, and wondering if he’s likeable, he hears you wandering
through chords on the piano, and he knows that you know. Because he recognises the song – ‘Reflection’. It’s your reminder that it’s okay – all of
He leans back against the door as the familiar notes hit him
– spine pressing to the wood and head tilting back till he’s gazing up at the
grey ceiling. There may be no words, but each jump of your fingers across
the black and ivory keys speaks to him. He hears. He understands.
After a few moments, after a few deep breaths,
he feels himself – his real self – float back into his body, and he’s ready to
greet you. He steps forward, into the light of the music room, where you shift
to glance at him out of the corner of your eyes. The music keeps on spinning
out. He smiles at you, and you smile back, and that’s all it takes for Namjoon
to like himself like you love him.
Jimin: “Forever we are young, amidst the scattering rain of flower
petals I run, wandering through this maze.” Jimin can’t help but sing the last
few lines of the familiar song while you rest upon the final chords on the piano.
Turning to him, eyes shining bright, you say, “Your singing still sounds
as beautiful as it did when you first sang this song.”
Jimin heaves out a
sigh. “That was a long time ago, wasn’t it?” His mind flickers back to those
days, an eternity ago (try a few years, but they feel infinite), when you didn’t exist in his life. So many things have
changed since then. He’s changed since then.
Sensing a shift in his mood, you reach out your hands to him, hoping for a hold on his uncertain frame, quivering on the edge of being lost to remembering. In answer to your silent plea, he
steps closer and winds his arms around your shoulders. You ground him back in reality with your head resting on his chest.
“It wasn’t so long ago…” you murmur.
“Sure feels like it though.” Stifling thoughts begin
clinging onto Jimin, realisations of how far on his life has progressed, how
much closer he is to stepping off the cusp of youth… realisations that the
lyrics of the song you played can’t be true. He won’t be young forever, and neither will
you. It terrifies him.
You stretch your neck to gaze up at him. “We’re still young,” you assure him, “And even when we grow
old, and get grey-haired and wrinkly, we’ll stay young – on the inside at
least. All I need is you by my side, and I feel like I could stay vibrant and
strong for the rest of my life.”
How is it that you always know what to say? Jimin swallows down his foul-tasting fears and kisses the
top of your head. “Young forever, you and me.”
Taehyung: As you drift through the dream-enhancing chords, sat over the
piano, Taehyung stands on the other side of the door, enraptured and enwrapped by
your playing. When the final notes peel away into a calm quiet, he opens the door to be greeted by your smile.
“Just One Day?” Taehyung asks, although he doesn’t need an
answer from you – he recognises the melody like he recognises the freckles
on your face.
“Did you like my arrangement of it?”
“Like it?” Taehyung flops down onto the nearby sofa, and
motions for you to join him, “Like it? I adored it.”
“I adore you,” you counter, abandoning the piano stool
to find a comfier spot with Taehyung, perched above him, legs straddling his
waist. Your hair falls down around your shoulders and, as you lean towards
Taehyung, it cuts off the rest of the world, encasing the two of you in your own existence.
Taehyung’s hands reach up to cup your face, and when you close your eyes to his touch, he stretches up to kiss your eyelids. In parting
his lips from your skin, he murmurs, “I never really understood the lyrics of
that song until I met you.”
“What? ‘Just One Day’?”
He nods, bumping his nose against yours in the process. “I
never understood the desperate need to be with someone, even if it was only for one day. But then I saw you, and suddenly it made sense. I got the feeling that
even if I could only be with you for one day, one hour, even one second, that would be enough for me. It’s like my purpose is to be with you.”
You felt the sting of tears as they jumped up behind
your lids, but you refused to let them fall. “I suppose it’s a good thing we
have more than one day then.”
Jungkook: Poised on your doorstep,Jungkook takes a deep breath and steps forward to knock.
The last time he saw you, you had been in floods of tears,
both of you shouting things you didn’t mean. Now he’s outside, wanting to
apologise, to go back to how it used to be. But he’s scared. He’s terrified.
And he can’t bring himself to make a move.
That is until he hears the strains of a piano playing,
wafting through an open window. Those chords are familiar – ‘Love is not over’.
On recognising the song, he slowly breaks down – like a lump of sugar dissolving
in coffee, one second he’s solid and the next he’s disappearing, forgetting
himself and slipping over into tears. He can’t bear to be apart from you any longer, and judging
by your playing, neither can you. Not caring how much of a mess his face is,
puffy and red, striped with tear-tracks, he knocks. And after a few seconds you
answer. Your face is a mirror of his, just as cracked, just as damp.
“I’m sorry…” is all you can say before he pulls you into a
tight hug that squeezes all the air out of you, and he’s murmuring in your ear,
“Me too. I’m sorry. I’m so sorry.”
Just like that it’s okay again. With the two
of you, things can never truly be finished – you can never truly be done with each other.
Love will never be over, and so long as you’re breathing, you’ll be together.
Reaction when during concert their little child run up on star with tears and saying something like"daddy this song is beatiful, you sing perfect" and starts crying and hugging him and all ARMYS make one sound like “owwwh cute” and kid gets shy🙈
So I’ve decided to just come up with Korean names for each of their kids. I feel like that makes it a little more personalized, rather than just putting Y/K/N. Also, my name is Sarah. I’m American and only know a small amount of Korean, so if I screw up these names somehow…I am so sorry and please politely correct me lol. Enjoy!
I kind of wonder if Taehyung picked those names for his future children because Taekwon sounds like Tae Kwon Do…Taekwon literally means “kick hand”
You were having trouble controlling your three year old, Taekwon, as he toddled around backstage, huge red earphones covering his ears from the noise of the concert. You brought him with often to BTS concerts, because he enjoyed being able to watch his dad, his uncles, and look at all the bright lights. Although normally, he wasn’t this nuts. Jimin’s wife must’ve given Taekwon a Popsicle or something earlier that day, because your kid was bouncing off the walls.
Whenever they preformed Spring Day, it would get everyone onstage emotional. Taekwon knew his dad’s voice - and would always ask you to pick him up and point out Taehyung singing his part in Spring Day. This time was no different, because your baby tugged on your pant leg and threw his arms up.
“Where daddy?” Taekwon asks in his baby voice, his hands gesturing out and his shoulders shrugging. You smile and point at the figure across the stage. Taekwon looks, struggles in your arms before you put him down and turn to grab a water bottle from the cooler on the floor.
As you’re digging in the ice for a cold bottle, you hear a huge chorus of “aww”’s coming from the stage, and the boys laughing. Securing yourself a water bottle and turning around, you glance up and notice that your son is not where you left him - and has run out onto the stage into his dad’s arms. You watched with a hand covering your mouth as Taehyung crouches to catch his son and hoists him up on his hip.
“Your singing is nice!” You hear your son say loudly into Taehyung’s microphone, and laughter rumbles throughout the arena.
“Thanks, buddy. Can you sing a song for us?” Taehyung asks, expecting his son to blurt out the words to Spring Day, but Taekwon begins to sing Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star instead, which makes the entire arena resound with sounds of adoration.
Twins. You and Suga never expected them in the first place, and it’s been a wild four years with them. Their birthday was soon, and you still remember the day they were born - Min Yoon-Shik first then Min Gi-Dae second.
The twins became more like their dad everyday, and you’d find the sisters singing along to all of BTS’ songs, and would try their hardest to rap alongside their dad in each song. They’d even try to learn the choreography - and while Suga wasn’t all that bad, the girls seemed to have gotten your side of the family: because there wasn’t a dancing bone in your body.
It was BTS’ last concert before they ended their latest tour, and you had decided to take the girls to this one to watch their dad preform. To say the least, the twins were extremely excited and kept their eyes focused on Suga the entire time. They even began copying his lyrics as he rapped them.
At the end of the concert, the boys sang Spring Day and had rose petals raining down on them, and the twins thought it was hilarious. Yoongi looked over to the side of the stage and an instant smile grew on his face at the sight of his baby girls, and he ushered the twins to come out on stage. Yoon-Shik and Gi-Dae looked at each other, then back at you for permission, then ran off onto the bright stage towards their dad.
“Can you teach us the dances for the songs?” Gi-Dae asked as Yoongi hoisted both her and her sister up in each arm. The entire arena sighed in awe, the other boys laughing at how cute Yoongi’s twins were.
“Ask Uncle Hobi for that,” Suga laughed jokingly, then kissed his daughters cheeks before setting them down. “Run along, I’ll see you in a few minutes loves.” He said aloud, before gently giving them little pats on their backs before turning around and thanking ARMY.
Jihyun was just like his father.
It wasn’t even funny - you swear you had no part in making your son because Jihyun was a spitting image of Jimin. It’s as if someone put Jimin in the copier and spit out Jihyun - all the same features and personality, just a different name, and much younger.
Jimin would often times take Jihyun to the studio because the five-year old loved watching the dance practices. Towards the end, Jimin would grab his son and teach him the moves - and his son would execute them almost perfectly. He was gifted, just like Jimin, and everyone saw it.
“Jihyun, stay here.” You said to your son, who was standing in the middle of the exit to the stage, watching his dad and uncles jump around as they began I Need U. Jihyun didn’t acknowledge your words, but tried his hardest to keep up with the minimal choreography he knew. It was adorable watching him spin around and trip over his feet - but he was better than any other five year old dancer you’ve seen (okay, maybe you were a little biased).
You didn’t realize it until you looked over on the TV screen to see your son just off to the left of the stage, visible to ARMY but behind the boys. Jihyun didn’t notice that he had veered too far onto the stage, and was too busy twirling around and singing along to I Need U to hear the ARMYs cooing.
You watched Jimin spin around when the song was done and lock his eyes on his son, immediately bursting into laughter and walking briskly over to Jihyun.
“Jihyun, you’re giving everyone a show!” Jimin laughed, scooping up his son and bringing him to the front. The five year old looked miraculously at his father but began to enjoy being on stage with his uncles, who all came over and ruffled his hair.
“I’m gonna be like you one day,” Jihyun said with a bright smile while looking up at his dad. Jimin threw his head back in laughter and appreciation while the ARMYs in the crowd continued to awe.
“I’m sure you will be, bud.”
Just like that - Hokyong was out of your sight and ran right into her dad’s arms. The two year old was the most excitable, energetic kid you had ever come to know, but you’d never trade that for the world.
When Hokyong saw her dad, she would never hesitate to run over and hug him. It was just Hokyong’s thing - she’d laugh and toddle towards Hoseok with a big, toothy grin on her face. Your husband would just laugh right with her and cuddle his daughter in his arms.
“Look who has joined us today!” J-Hope said brightly into the microphone, glancing at his baby girl as she peered around with her hand stuck in her mouth. “Can you wave, Hokyong?” Her dad said, gently prying the hand out of the baby girl’s mouth.
Hokyong looked out into the crowd then shyly buried her face into her daddy’s shoulder, earning a huge, booming sound of adoration from the fans. The boys just laughed, Jimin coming over and patting your daughter’s back before looking back at you and shooting a thumbs up. You stood at the curtain watching, getting emotional at how perfect your little family was.
“Alright, baby. We have to finish the show, say bye-bye!” J-Hope said, putting the toddler down and grabbing her hand. Hokyong waved to the crowd before J-Hope walked her back to the side of the stage, kissing your lips before handing the baby back to you.
“My perfect girls,” he said, winking, before hoping back to his spot on stage and beginning BS&T.
Your’s and Jungkook’s daughter had just turned a year old. She’d just began walking as well, and you decided to bring her to the last concert of the tour to celebrate her birthday with all the boys afterwards.
Jungmee was extremely intelligent, but very quiet and reserved. The baby girl had been a daddy’s girl from the beginning - always reaching for Jungkook when she was upset or wanted to be held. It was no surprise that Jungkook was the best dad in the world: he admitted he was nervous at first but seeing him with your baby girl was heart melting.
You sat with your daughter in your lap`as she stared out onto the stage, and from time to time, Jungkook would glance over and wave at you and Jungmee - winking and making silly faces. Finally, towards the end of the concert, you could tell your baby was getting tired. She was crabby, crying and struggling to get out of your arms, but whining when you but her down.
When you put her down on the floor for what must’ve been the 100th time, you hoped she would somehow fall asleep despite the music echoing around the arena. Jungmee was sobbing now, screaming incoherent words as she had a tantrum right then and there. You sighed and over the course of 15 minutes, you picked her up and rocked her, tried to console her with a bottle and then resorted to just swaying back and forth with her in your arms as she screamed.
Jungkook must’ve noticed, and had watched you struggle to keep Jungmee calm. With a smile playing on his lips, he jogs over and stands in front of you, placing his hands under the arms of your daughter before taking Jungmee into his arms. She stops screaming, of course, but still hiccups as leftover tears roll down her cheeks.
“W-what are you doing?” You stammered.
“I want everyone to sing her happy birthday. It was going to be at the end of the concert, but it looks as if you could use a break..” He said, giving you a little smile as he walked back off onto the stage, looking adorable as he held Jungmee in one arm.
“It’s Jeon Jungmee’s birthday…I think we should sing happy birthday, don’t you think?” Jungkook says, bouncing the now happy, tearless baby girl. The entire arena erupted, singing happy birthday to your little girl. By the time Jungkook came over and handed her back to you with a kiss on the cheek, Jungmee smiled as she drifted off as you held her against your shoulder.
Namsang was the sweetest baby girl on the earth - except when she threw The Tantrum. Your baby girl wasn’t spoiled - not by you at least, since Namjoon always decided to bring the three year old little presents and toys home - but when Namsang pulled The Tantrum, all hell broke loose.
So the little girl decided to pull The Tantrum at the worst time possible - just as Namjoon kissed both of you and ran out on stage with the boys. Namsang reached out after him as he hopped away, her lip curling into a pout as she began to cry. As the boys were jumping around and dancing to their opening song on stage, you turned your back and tried to bounce your daughter into calming down.
Namsang began to kick and try to pull away, and after 10 minutes of fighting her, you set her down. You sat down in the chair beside the stage and rubbed your hand over your face, already all of your energy spent. This is what was bad about bringing a three year old to a three hour long concert - you never knew what would set off another screaming-fest.
When you opened your eyes again, you didn’t even realize your daughter was gone from your sight. You were just relieved that the screaming stopped - and then noticed that something was missing. Frantically, you searched around, behind curtains, under tables and in the surrounding rooms, until you heard Namjoon talking on stage.
“Namsang! Come here,” Namjoon said, and you turned your attention to the CCTV streaming the concert. The camera was pointed at Namjoon with his arms wide open, crouching down to catch his daughter in his arms. Namsang ran into her dad’s arms, earning louds screams from the fans.
“Aw, baby girl, what are you upset about?” Namjoon asks, wiping the tears from your daughter’s face with a small chuckle, picking her up and holding her close.
“I didn’t w-want you to leave, daddy.” Namsang said, sniffling. The other boys covered their mouths to hide their laughter while Namjoon just turned his head and said, “Aw, I’m sorry. But you’re here now, right? You don’t have to worry, baby.”
There wasn’t a time in your house that nobody was singing. Someone always had a song stuck in their head, and your four year old, Jinhee, was no exception.
Seokjin was constantly teaching her the lyrics to various BTS songs, and she always begged to attend every concert her dad performed at. She loved singing along to I Need U, and Spring Day. Jinhee tried to dance to Not Today, but when she’d trip over her feet, Seokjin would tell her to keep trying her hardest.
Another thing Jinhee did was get emotional. At four years old, you would think she didn’t understand anything her dad and uncles were singing about, but oh man, she did. The little girl would ask what was wrong and why the people they were singing about were leaving in Spring Day.
You had left Jinhee standing at the entrance to the stage while you left to grab a snack from the waiting room. She was usually very obedient, and would listen to you when you told her to stay there. Although, when you walked back Jinhee was not where you had left her. You dropped the fruit snack you had snagged for her and immediately looked out on stage - and saw her running behind all the boys and heading straight for her dad.
“Daddy!” She hiccuped, and there were tears that ran down her cheeks. Seokjin turned around, eyes going wide at the sight of his daughter rushing towards him. He crouched down and held Jinhee in his arms, and you saw him wiping away her tears as he began to talk to her.
“Hey, what are you doing out here? Are you okay?” He asked, concern laced in his voice.
“I-I, the song is sad,” Jinhee cried, burying her face in her dad’s shoulder. Jin closed his eyes and laughed, picking her up and facing the crowd. The entire stadium was a mixture of laughing and cooing, and Jin waved before heading back to the side of the stage to put Jinhee down by you.
“Don’t cry, okay? I love you, stay with mommy.” Seokjin said, kissing his daughter’s forehead before looking at you with a small smile.
Summary: Y/N and Jughead take a long drive out of Riverdale for a road trip and discover their hidden feelings for each other
Warnings: swearing, slight smut, drinking
‘Swerving on the 405, I can never keep my eyes off this’
We’d been driving for hours, we didn’t even know where we were going anymore, or what were running from. The sudden impulsive decision to get out of town and take a road trip was decided by Jughead. He had been distressed at school lately and said he had a lot of stuff going on in his head, and he needed to get away.
Me being the good friend I am, and caring a great deal for him, didn’t want him to be alone so I decided to make the offer on taking him away for a while.
When Lance was a kid his mom would say his skin looked like the wings of a butterfly.
Something that was beautiful in how the colours stood out over the base.
She would tell him that he was her little butterfly painted by the angels.
She would tell him this everyday he came home crying because of the teasing from the other kids and the pitying looks from the adults.
When Lance turned ten he stole his sisters makeup and used it to cover the pale areas that were visible on his face, neck and arms. Just to see what it would be like he went to town and for the first time ever blended in. He felt absence of confidence coming from the makeup. But he didn’t want to upset his mom. However getting makeup off is much harder then putting it on.
That’s why hours later his Mom found Lance in the bathroom desperately scrubbing at his skin as she called him for dinner.
He broke down and began to cry begging her not to angry for trying to cover up.
His mom just smiled and kissed his temple telling him that if he wanted to cover up he could or if he wanted his skin on show that was fine too, that he was perfect ether way.
So Lance started wearing makeup and gained a new kind of confidence that he never had before. He was louder and happier even flirting.
When he went away to the Garrison he took enough makeup with him to last until Christmas telling himself as long as he had makeup then everything would be ok.
But the night they found Shiro, Lance didn’t have his makeup with him.
He went to space without it.
With every day that passed the small container he always carried for touch ups became emptier and emptier. He knew it wouldn’t last forever but tonight of all nights to run out.
Lance stared in the mirror at the pale splattering that stretched over his eyes as he desperately rubbed at his skin praying to be able to cover up.
But it was no good.
He was out of makeup.
He wondered if Allura had any and if she would mind him borrowing some. But if he asked then she would see.
What if she laughed?
What if she told the others and they treated him differently?
He couldn’t take the teasing again he just couldn’t.
He put his hands on the sink trying to will himself to calm down. If he could just get to Allura’s room then he could steal her makeup and look normal.
Wrapping his blanket round his head allowing it to trail along the floor behind him Lance tip toes through the hall way.
At this time in the morning most of the other paladins were usually in the kitchen having breakfast or for Keith getting in some training before grabbing a quick bite to eat. This didn’t do much for Lance’s anxieties through. Just the thought of being outside his room without makeup on caused his chest to tighten with panic.
This was so much worse.
He felt like every cell in his body was on edge, vibrating with fear of being caught.
When he reached Allura’s room he had to wipe the sweat off his hands before getting the door open.
Allura’s room was huge.
Much bigger then all the paladins rooms combined and filled with various alien nick nacks and photos from Altea.
Lance felt bad about being in her room without permission, but he told himself it would be worth it in the end.
However after almost an hour Lance had found nothing.
He felt his chest tighten as the tears began to fall.
What was he going to do?
The team already thought he was nothing but a pretty face, he’ll be even less then nothing if they realise he’s not even that.
As his breaths came less frequently and quicker Lance slowly slipped down to the floor holding his throat with his hands.
He didn’t hear the door slide open.
He didn’t hear the gasp or the sound of footsteps running over to him.
But he did hear his name.
“Lance?” Allura asked panic clear in her voice. She put a steadying hand on his shoulder trying to get him to look up at her. “Lance tell me what is wrong! Are you hurt? What happened?” She asked sounding like a worried mother.
Lance’s only response was a slow shake of the head.
Allura recognising the panic attack hugged him in her strong arms humming a calming tune.
After a while the tears stopped and Lance found himself able to breath normally again. He stayed in Allura’s arms letting her rock him gently back and forth closing his eyes and listening to the calming sound.
“Pretty song” Lance whispered.
“My farther would sing it to me when I was young.” Allura answered a note of pain to her voice. “Ready to tell me what’s wrong?”
Lance shook his head earning him a sigh from the princess.
“Well…is there anything I can do to help?
Lance was quiet for a moment “do you have any makeup I could borrow?” He asked nervously playing with the hem of the blanket.
“Of course. But I do not understand, you often boast about how perfect your skin is.”
A bitter laugh escaped Lance’s throat. “My skins ugly.”
Allura was so surprised by this answer she pulled back just to try and see if the blue paladin was joking. He had to be joking…right?
“Lance why would you think that?” She asked gently.
Lance slowly, very slowly looked up. The blanket falling off his head and showing his face to the older woman.
Allura couldn’t stop the gasp that escaped her lips as she stared at Lance.
His face began to crumble “I knew it! I knew this would happen!” He sobbed curling in on himself.
“No no lance I didn’t mean anything bad!” Allura rambled quickly. “It’s just I did not realise humans also had marks of beauty like Altean’s.”
Lance sniffed looking up at her “marks of beauty?” He asked.
“Yes” she tapped the pink marking on her cheek “on Altea it was a sign of beauty to have markings such as yours on your face. They called them marks of the Drioborn bug… I believe you have something similar on Earth. Butterfly I think they are called.”
Lance smiled for a moment “yeah butterfly is right.”
After his little heart to heart wi h Allura, Lance though still self conscious didn’t outright hate his skin anymore. He borrowed her makeup as to feel more confident but eventually he opened up to the team allowing himself to love who he is as much as his team does.
Hey can you please write a hc about Isak hiding his face by hugging Even cause he's embarrassed ? Thx !!
isak has a hard time letting go when he’s dancing, he remains pretty stiff, mostly just bobs his head to the music. it’s just. it’s not fun, it’s something he’d force himself to do at parties, dancing with girls and trying to play and look cool. and the thing is that he doesn’t really dance at parties since he’s with even, because even would never force him to, and it’s been a while since he’s cared about what people think of him, about looking cool
but the thing is that even wants to dance with isak. even loves to dance, he’ll often put on a song while they’re in their room or in the kitchen and just start dancing and singing along. and one day isak is sitting on the couch under even’s loft bed, his notes on his lap, and even puts on fy faen by hkeem and he starts dancing, smiling wide at isak. and isak keeps looking down at his notes, pretends not to smile, but then even comes and grabs his hand and tells him “baby come on” and isak frees his hand from even’s hold, tells him “i’m studying” and even shakes his head but keeps moving to the rhythm of the song, tells him “you’ve been studying all afternoon”. and he grabs isak’s hand and pulls harder, lifting him up, isak’s notes falling to the ground, isak ending up pretty much pressed against even
and even puts his arms around isak’s neck, whispers “hey you,” and isak can’t help but smile a little at that. but he’s still not really moving, not letting himself go, and then the song is ending and he shrugs, says “oh well, that’s too bad!” and he leans in to kiss even, expecting him to stop dancing, but the song just starts again. and even breathes out a laughter, says “i put it on repeat” and isak whines, tells even “i’m so bad at this”. and even shakes his head, whispers “you’re so good at this, you just need to let go. no one’s watching us, just move with me” and as he says that, his hands go down to his hips, and he starts making isak move the same way he is, and isak finally. starts moving by himself and even’s hands are simply placed on his hips, not guiding him anymore, just as a way to feel closer to him. it’s nice, moving together and kissing each other and smiling into the kisses. it’s fun and sexy and warm and even thinks to himself that he could do this all day long, that dancing alone is nice, but it’s nothing compared to dancing with isak
that is until even’s mom opens the door of his room, letting him know that diner was ready. and isak freezes, eyes wide, and mouths “oh my god”. and even chuckles, says “oops”. isak remains motionless, speechless for a few seconds until he lets out a little wail, buries his face against his shoulder, and he starts mumbling all sorts of things, from “i can’t believe your mom saw us dancing like that” to “this was the worst idea ever” to “i’m never dancing ever again. nope, nope, never again in my entire life”. and even simply wraps his arms around him, trying not to laugh, telling him “you’re totally dancing with me again, baby, tomorrow you’ll be dancing with me”
they’re at a party the next day. and fy faen starts playing again, and even looks at isak wtih a grin, and isak just mouths “no”, but then even is asking sana, whom isak was hanging out with, “do you mind if i borrow him for a bit?” and sana raises an eyebrow, but her and even share a knowing smile. and isak lets out a sigh, and he actually takes even’s hand. and even kisses him softly before they start dancing, like they were yesterday, same movements, same song, and feeling like they alone in this room. and isak looks into even’s eyes and even thinks that what he loves the most about this moment is not the fact that he gets to be so close to isak and dance with him, but rather the fact that isak really seems to enjoy himself. because that spark in isak’s eyes is one of his favourite sights in the world. and when isak buries his face in his neck, he doesn’t do it because he’s embarrassed this time. he simply breathes even in, smiles against his skin

What do you do when your best friend asks you and your (now) ex to be the best men at his destination wedding? You can either tell him the truth, tell him you’re not together anymore, and deal with the consequences, or you can pretend you’re still together and roll with it, just pray you don’t spiral. Fake it ‘til you make it. You know, for the sake of the wedding.
What happens when all you had, all you loved, all you held dear is viciously ripped away from you? When your inner core, once filled with love and hope and light, blackens to raw, dark hatred?
What happens when your soul is hopelessly consumed and no matter how hard you try, no matter how hard you attempt to shake yourself out, to rid your tormented mind of the opaque feelings that plague you, all you can see, all you can feel, all you can want is…
A modern adaption of The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexandre Dumas. A tragic tale of timeless undying love, merciless revenge, and selfless sacrifice.
Named after the song by the Weeknd bc I am trash. Thank you to @caspercassiecas for being my beta. This is my first fic on this account, and my ask box is always open for requests. Hope you enjoy!

“Y/N!” You heard Lin shout, and you sighed heavily, still holding the coffee that the man had sent you to get. You looked around for him, noticing that he was on the other side of the stage. The stage where the company was practicing.
You groaned, sprinting across the stage, ducking and spinning around dancing people. You somehow managed to get across without spilling the coffee, handing it to Lin and smiling before you heard your name called again.
“Y/N! Come meet Diggs! He was sick yesterday, so you didn’t get to meet him!” You heard Christopher shout, and you groaned again, sighing heavily. You looked over, trying to find where Christopher was standing.
“You guys are lucky I do sports.” You muttered, Lin cackling and patting your shoulder.
“Yes, we are. You’ve got a busy second day ahead of you, kid.” Lin laughed, and you groaned, running back across the stage, doing a slide on your knees between a dancer’s legs and ending up at Christopher’s feet, scrambling up.
“Sorry, I learned yesterday that if I time it right, I can get across the stage without being hit.” You explained, brushing yourself off before smiling widely at Christopher and the tall man beside him.
“Y/N Y/L/N, Daveed Diggs, Daveed Diggs, Y/N Y/L/N. Y/N is our new intern since Jessica quit the other day.” Christopher introduced them, and you smiled warmly, shaking Daveed’s hand. He opened his mouth to speak but was interrupted by Phillipa calling out for you.
You made an apologetic face, wincing.
“Sorry, it was lovely meeting you, Diggs. I’ll catch you later.” You waved, weaving between the dancers once more, yelping when one grabbed your hand, spinning and dipping you. You went along with it, doing a couple dance steps with him before he let you go and you ran off to find Phillipa.
You were backstage, delivering Leslie a tea before he had to go on. You sighed heavily, rubbing your eyes as you knocked on Leslie’s dressing room door. You heard a muffled ‘come in’ and opened the door, absently tugging on your hair with your free hand. You poked your head in carefully.
“Hey, Leslie, they didn’t have chai, so I had to get you vanilla, I hope you don’t mind. If it’s an issue, I can run down to the corner store really quick.” You greeted, voice rough from how much you’d spoken that day. The three men in the room turned to you, all smiling. Anthony stood, opening the door for you fully. Daveed waved and smirked from his spot on the couch. Leslie was leaning on his vanity, smiling widely at you.
“It’s no issue, thank you, Y/N. Have you met Diggs? He was out sick yesterday when you were here.”
“Yessir, I have met Diggs. Though I’ve been bouncing around all damn day so I haven’t had a chance to properly speak to him.” You laughed, handing Leslie the tea and smiling at Anthony, who appeared to be struggling with his collar, which wouldn’t stay down.
“Anthony, do you need some help?” You asked, furrowing your eyebrows and tilting your head slightly. He looked up and smiled brilliantly.
“Yes, please, actually. I can’t get it to stay down.”
You clicked your tongue, muttering under your breath as you reached a hand to your side, pulling a safety pin out of your jeans. You carefully stuck it in the fabric of Anthony’s coat, pinning it down.
“Alright. Anyone else need anything while I’m in here?” You asked, eyeing Daveed out of the corner of your eye. You noticed his eyes on your legs, moving around your body. He caught your eyes and you raised a brow.
“Coffee would be nice.” Daveed murmured, and you nodded.
“Any specifics on how to make it?”
“I like mine how Lin takes it.”
“Lin takes any kind of coffee I give him.” You snorted, tugging at your hair again as you left the room, sighing heavily.
The Next Day
You were helping one of the dancers through a run, copying his movements effortlessly.
“Y/N! Need you!” You heard Daveed call, and gave the dancer a sad look, jogging off to Daveed’s dressing room, knocking on the door and waiting for the signal to come in. You jumped as Lin opened the door, putting a hand over your heart.
“Jesus! Lin, you almost put me in cardiac arrest.” You scolded, furrowing your brows as you slipped in.
“Sorry, Y/N. I was just leaving.” He laughed, waving as he shut the door. You turned your head, spotting Daveed by his vanity. Your mouth ran dry. He was in a tight black t-shirt, one that outlined every single one of his muscles, and a pair of jeans that fit just right on his hipbones. You forced your eyes to his face, smiling.
“Hey, I was wondering if you could help me with the Lafayette bun. I can’t seem to get it right today.”
“Uh, yeah, s-sure.” You stuttered, blushing bright red. You mentally cursed yourself, walking over and carefully pulling his hair up, forming it into the bun.
“You’re blushing. Are you feeling okay, Y/N?” He practically purred, and you flicked your eyes up to look at him in the mirror, still putting the hair tie around his hair.
“Yeah. Just a little warm in here.” You lied effortlessly, finishing the bun and smiling at him in the mirror.
“Need anything else?”
“The cast is going out tonight, Lin wanted me to see if you’d come. He had to run to set before he could ask himself.”
“He could’ve shot me a text. But yeah, I’ll come.” You murmured, pulling a pocket notebook out of your jeans and scribbling down your number, tearing it out and setting it on his vanity.
“You’re the only person who doesn’t have my number. Text me the location and dress code tonight, please.” You murmured, walking out of his dressing room.
You almost fell out of the shower trying to grab your phone in time to answer the incoming call. You stood, dripping on the floor, pressing the phone against your wet cheek.
“Hey, it’s Daveed. I’ll come pick you up. Tell me your address and wear somethin’ nice, aight?” He greeted, and you made a humming sound.
“Will do. Uh, I live in the Deerfold Apartments on eleventh, number 112. I’ll have to buzz you in.” You answered, running a hand through your still soapy hair.
“You sound out of breath. You feeling alright?”
“I was in the shower when you called. Almost fell trying to answer.” You laughed, listening to his own warm laugh radiate through her speakers.
“Alright, I’ll let you finish your shower. See you in about 30 minutes.” He said, and you hummed. The call ended. Or so you thought.
You put your phone down, stepping back in your shower. You went back to your singing, belting out the lyrics to old rock songs at the top of her lungs, running conditioner through your hair. You quickly washed your body and shaved, turning off your shower. You grabbed the towel you kept by, sighing at the puddle of water on the floor.
“Dear god that’s so much water.” You said to yourself, drying off quickly before putting the towel on the floor to soak up the water.
You pulled your hair into another towel, twisting it up and whistling as you stepped on the other towel, singing once again. You picked up your hairbrush and phone, starting on Lemonade, Beyonce’s new album. You picked up the towel and your dirty clothes, walking out to your bedroom, singing at the top of your lungs.
“You can taste the dishonesty, it’s all over your breath,” You sang, tossing your phone on the bed. You continued singing, putting your dirty clothes and both towels in your hamper. You quickly brushed out your hair, accidentally tripping over a pile of clothes and letting out a loud string of curses. You heard quiet laughter, popping up and trying to find the source of the sound. You scrambled to your phone, finding that you were still in a call with Daveed.
“Diggs! Why didn’t you hang up?!” You exclaimed, turning bright red.
“I heard you singing and wanted to stick around to see if you’d sing a song from the show.” You heard his familiar voice crackled through the phone.
“Jesus Christ.” You groaned, knowing you’d never live this down.
You buzzed Daveed in, walking back to your bedroom and stepping into your dress, pulling it up. You struggled with the zipper, getting it up about halfway before you heard a knock on your door. You sighed, walking over to your door and opening it. You gave Daveed a slightly awkward smile.
“Can you zip me up, please? I can’t seem to get it.” You asked, and he laughed, nodding his head. You turned, holding in a shiver as his warm hands ran up your spine, zipping the dress. You felt his fingers lingering, brushing along the dragon tattoo at the base of your neck.
“Nice ink. Do you like dragons?”
“No, I hate them.” You said sarcastically, rolling your eyes and stepping into a pair of heels, grabbing your jacket and purse.
“Alright, let’s motor.” You smiled, spinning your keys around your finger. He nodded, stepping aside to let you out. You locked your apartment, linking your elbow with his and letting him escort you.
You laughed at the story Lin was telling the people at the table, sipping your wine. Daveed was digging into his steak, being quieter than usual. Anthony was on your other side, casually sipping his wine as well.
“Hey, D, you doing okay?” You asked, voice quiet. You glanced over at him, raising a brow. He smiled, nodding.
“I just can’t cut this damn steak.”
You laughed softly, shaking your head and sipping your wine again. The waiter walked over, setting down a wine glass and a note in front of you. You raised your eyebrows. You glanced at the table, making sure they weren’t paying attention before you spoke.
“Oh, I didn’t order this, sir.” You said, smiling up at the waiter.
“It’s from the gentleman in the blue shirt at the bar.” The waiter smiled, and you nodded, looking at the glass of wine and flicking your eyes up to the guy at the bar, who smirked and waved at you. You opened the note, reading it and suppressing a disgusted face. You pulled your notebook and pen out of your bag, scribbling down a note back and chugging the wine. You handed the note and empty glass to the waiter, smiling.
“Tell him he has awful taste in wine, but thanks anyway.” You requested, and the waiter read your note and laughed, nodding his head.
“Yes, ma’am. You have a strong voice in your writing.” He commented, and you smirked.
“I’m aware. Thank you very much.”
You sipped your previous glass of wine, looking over at a call of your name.
“So, Y/N, what did blue shirt guy say in his note?” Lin asked, and you sighed, shaking your head.
“I should’ve known better than to think that would’ve gotten past you. I thought it would be a nice note, but it was vulgar as all hell.” You muttered, shaking your head and glaring at the note.
“What did you say back?” Renee laughed, and you shrugged, smirking.
“I said that he was a pussy for saying it in a note with wine instead of to my face, and if he really expected that to work or get him laid, then he was more idiotic than I thought at first glance.” You answered Lin, who snorted loudly, cackling.
“Wait, lemme see his note! Y/N, you gotta show me!”
“Lin, read it out to us!” Oak laughed, and Y/N giggled, passing the note to Lin. He cleared his throat, getting out his most dramatic voice.
“Hey, I really like your dress. I think I’d like it better on my floor, though. I like your lips as well, and I sure would love to see them wrapped around my 11-inch cock, come take charge of me, honey, I can show you a good boy,” Lin read, and you listened to the table burst out into loud laughter. Anthony gave you a sympathetic look, and Daveed swallowed his piece of steak before speaking to her.
“Are you even into being the dominator, Y/N? I get a more vanilla vibe from you.”
You raised your brows at him, laughing softly.
“And I think that’s my cue, sorry, guys, I have to wake up early and run around all day tomorrow.” You spoke, avoiding the question as you slipped on your coat, digging your wallet out of your purse and handing Lin $20 dollars, paying for your food. You waved as you walked out, blowing a kiss at them.
You stretched up, grabbing a pack of powder creamer from the cabinet, dancing to the singing you heard from the stage. You stirred it into the cup of coffee that sat in front of you, singing along softly. You nearly jumped out of your skin as you felt a pair of hands on your hips.
“Did I scare you away last night, baby?” Daveed whispered in your ear, and you shivered.
“N-no, Daveed.” You replied, shivering at the feeling of his breath on your neck.
“You gonna answer my question, baby girl?”
You had to forcibly suppress a moan, subconsciously grinding your ass against his crotch. He laughed quietly, pressing a small kiss to the juncture of your neck and shoulder. You released a shaky breath.
“I don’t like to dominate, I like being dominated.” You muttered, and he bit into your neck, hard enough to leave a bruise and draw a moan out of you.
“Can’t fuck you here, baby girl.” He murmured, and you whimpered.
“I’ll swing by your place later.” He murmured, and you nodded desperately, grinding against him once more before he pulled away, smirking at you as he walked away, leaving you panting and blushing at the counter.
You buzzed Daveed in, practically bouncing as you walked off to your bathroom, checking your appearance one more time, perfecting everything. You heard him knock, walking cautiously over to your door and opening it, stepping aside to let Daveed in.
“You can take your shoes off by the door, and, uh, hang your jacket on the free hook.” You greeted, blushing bright red.
“You’re cute when you blush, baby. If at any point you want me to stop, say ‘red’ okay?”
“Got it. Red. Okay.” You murmured, nodding. You blushed impossibly brighter when he grabbed your hips again, tugging you against his chest. He crashed his lips down onto yours and you moaned into his mouth, circling your arms around his neck and grinding yourself against him.
“Fuck, Daveed, bedroom.” You managed when you broke free, pointing to your bedroom door. He nodded, grabbing the undersides of your thighs and picking you up, walking toward your bedroom, leaving kisses on your neck. He tossed you on your bed, tugging his shirt off and unbuckling his belt. He smirked at you.
“Take off your clothes and hold out your wrists, baby.”
You were quick to comply, pulling your clothes off in record time and holding out your wrists for him. You moaned a little when you saw he’d finished taking off his clothes while you were distracted with yours. He pulled his belt tight around your wrists.
You moaned when he trailed a hand down, running a finger along your slit. You tossed your head back, bucking your hips up when he pushed two fingers into you, curling them just right and rubbing your walls. Your mind went blank, moving your hips to meet his fingers as he thrust them in and out of you. He ducked his head down, sucking at your clit, drawing a damn near scream from you. You were impossibly close. Though, to be fair, you’d been close since he’d kissed you.
“Please, sir, please, let me,” You babbled, mindlessly begging.
“Can you take three, baby?”
“Yes, sir, please,” You moaned, arching your back up sharply when he pushed another finger into you, keeping you right on the edge. You started begging again, whimpering when he held your hips down with one of his hands, stopping you from moving.
“Cum.” He ordered, and you practically screamed his name as you obeyed, back arching, fingers reaching out in your bonds, mind going completely blank. Before you had time to recover completely, he was inside of you, hitting your g-spot immediately.
“Daveed!” You moaned, dragging out the syllables in his name. He wrapped a hand around your throat, biting hard into your shoulder as he pounded into you. You felt his other hand gripping your hip so hard that you knew you’d have his fingerprints branded onto you for weeks. You moaned again when he bit hard on your breast, then moved his hand and bit into your neck again.
“You’re mine now, baby girl, no one else can fuck you like this.” He growled into your ear.
“Yes, sir, yours.” You moaned back, gasping for breath as he slowed down, almost sobbing.
“Say it, baby. Who’s are you?”
“Yours, sir! Please!” You moaned, trying to buck up and get him to go faster again.
“Yours, Daveed! Fuck, please!” You sobbed, then felt him unbuckle the belt around your wrists, then start up again. You threw your head back once more, raking your nails up his back. You knew there would be marks the next morning from your nails, and that made you moan more, scratching up his back again, then burying your hands in his hair, pulling. He groaned, nodding his head.
“Good girl, Y/N, fuck. Cum for me, baby girl.” He groaned out, and you let your orgasm take over again, seeing stars. You felt him bite hard into your shoulder, possibly drawing blood, as he came. All the muscles in your body went slack, and you winced at the oversensitivity as he pulled out of you, taking the condom off and tying it, tossing it into the trashcan by your bed. He ran a hand through his sweaty hair, smiling at you.
“Where’s your bathroom, baby, we need to clean you up.” He asked, voice soft. You groaned, lifting your arm and pointing to a door, sighing when he picked you up. He walked into your bathroom, making a pleased noise at the sight of your bathtub, setting you down on the counter and running you a bath.
“I’m tired, Daveed.” You muttered, whining as he picked you up again, sitting in the bath with you between his legs, leaning against his chest.
“I know, baby, let’s just get you cleaned up and then I can take you to bed, okay?”
“Mm, okay.” You murmured, letting him wash you off. You let your eyes slip shut as he shampooed and conditioned your hair, washing your body gently. You felt him moving around as he cleaned himself, then as he pulled the plug to drain the water. You felt him leave the tub, drying himself off, before picking you up and drying you off, carrying you to your bedroom. You sighed, tossing the towel around you into the hamper in your room before he laid you both down, pulling the blanket up to you and wrapping his arms around you.
“Hey, Y/N, what’s with the turtleneck? It’s super fuckin hot in here.” Anthony called, and you spun around, smiling at him.
“That is subjective, Ant. I think it’s really cold, actually.” You lied, shrugging. He raised an eyebrow.
“Or you got laid last night.”
You didn’t respond, the color draining out of your face.
“Holy shit! Guys! Y/N got dicked down!” Anthony shouted, and you pinched the bridge of your nose, groaning.
“Yes, I did. Is there a reason why my sex life is so exciting to you, Ant?” You sighed, putting a hand on the hip that wasn’t bruised all to hell and glaring at him.
“Lemme see what the guy did, Y/N, I know you have a tank top under that damn turtleneck,” Anthony said, and you snorted, rolling your eyes.
“Lin! Make Anthony go away!” You shouted, Lin looking over and laughing at the two of them.
“Do you even remember the guy’s name? Did you get his number? Are you gonna hit him up? I saw you walking weird earlier but I thought you just pulled a muscle, was he that good?” Anthony shot off, and you groaned, sighing.
“Hi, baby. He bothering you?” Daveed asked, wrapping an arm around your waist and gently pecking you.
“Holy shit.” You heard Lin say, then heard Anthony and Oak burst out in laughter.
“Jesus Christ, we knew you liked her! Lemme see what he did to you, you gotta show me now!” Ant cackled, and you made a grumbling noise, looking up at Daveed for permission. He gave a single nod, and you sighed, tugging your turtleneck off and allowing them to see the plethora of bruises on you. Including the scabbed over bite on your shoulder, claiming marks.
“Jesus Christ, Diggs, you don’t hold back.”
“He would’ve but I didn’t tell him to. Is your curiosity sated?” You snapped, glaring. Anthony and Oak held up their hands in mock surrender.
“Well, now we won’t have to ask why you’re walking funny.”
Summary: You and Jungkook plan another date after exchanging numbers. Since you’re under house arrest, Jungkook decides to spend the evening at your place. And things seem to go perfectly–until they don’t.
Word count: 2.1k words
After you hobbled home from the music building, your body was exhausted. But you were still thrumming with excitement, clutching your cell phone tightly in your hand. You had finally gotten Jungkook’s phone number, and he finally had yours.
With great difficulty, you managed to pry off your shoe and make it to your bedroom. After carefully setting your crutches aside, you fell back onto your bed. Holding your phone above your face, you couldn’t help the huge smile that spread across your lips.
You opened your contacts, pulling up Jungkook’s profile. He had snapped a silly selfie when he put his number into your phone, and you stared dazedly at your soulmate’s photograph, feeling more fond than you thought was appropriate.
Hesitantly, you composed a new text message. You began to type a quick greeting, but it seemed too formal, so you erased it. “Hey soulmate,” you tried, then immediately cringed. Backspacing quickly, you stared at the blank text. Maybe it would be best to wait for Jungkook to text first.
Letting your arm–and your phone–fall to the bed, you stared up at the plain ceiling and tried to remember Jungkook before the car accident. After racking your brain relentlessly, you were left with a headache and no answers.
That only made you more curious–what was your first encounter with Jungkook really like? He seemed to like you enough now, so surely it must’ve gone well.
With thoughts of Jungkook on your mind, you slowly drifted to sleep, the world around you fading to black.
You woke with a start, your eyes shooting open. Beside your ear, your phone was vibrating loudly. Exhaling shakily, you placed your hand over your racing heart. Eventually, you picked up your phone from beside you, checking the lock screen for notifications.
When you saw what had set off the alert, you nearly dropped your phone.
Jungkook had texted you. Excitedly, you unlocked your phone and opened your messaging app.
RECEIVED 1:43 PM Hey Y/N 💩
You laughed at Jungkook’s poop emoji and quickly composed a response.
SENT 1:44 PM Hey 🍪
RECEIVED 1:45 PM What’s with the cookie?
SENT 1:45 PM It’s u
SENT 1:45 PM Kookie
You blushed, wondering if the nickname was a bit too much. Suddenly, your phone buzzed, but this time, it was a text from Jieun. Confused, you opened the new chat.
RECEIVED 1:47 PM Are u talking to Jungkook? He’s sitting a row in front of me. He’s staring @ his phone and MAD blushing
Laughing, you felt your embarrassment fade away. You quickly replied to Jieun with an affirmative and closed the chat. Returning to your conversation with Jungkook, you saw that he had already responded.
RECEIVED 1:47 PM …cute
RECEIVED 1:48 PM So I was wondering if you wanted to hang out sometime. Haven’t seen you in while
SENT 1:49 PM Like a date? Or are we aiming for platonic soulmates?
Another alert from Jieun appeared on your screen, and you cackled as you went to check her update on Jungkook.
RECEIVED 1:50 PM WHAT DID U DO?!?! HE’S COMPLETELY RED
RECEIVED 1:50 PM ARE U SEXTING
SENT 1:50 PM Jieun wtf
You squirmed around on your bed, feeling happier than you had since you left the hospital. The smile on your face seemed permanent, and you grabbed your pillow and squealed into it. Still, it was kind of depressing that texting your two friends could make you so excited.
Grabbing your phone again, you checked to see if Jungkook had summoned enough courage to respond. He had.
RECEIVED 1:52 PM Yes, like a date.
SENT 2:01 PM JIEUN!!!! JUNGKOOK IS COMING OVER FOR A DATE TONIGHT!! PLS HELP ME CLEAN THE APARTMENT AND MYSELF
When Jieun had come home, she frantically shoved the mess in the living room into her own bedroom while you limped around the house, dusting things. It was the most you had ever cleaned since you had moved in together, which was saying a lot.
Then, she had helped you into the shower, making sure you stayed upright as you bathed yourself. Your friendship with Jieun was a true one–both of you had long graduated any feelings of embarrassment around each other.
By the time everything was said and done, it was almost time for Jungkook to arrive. Jieun helped you onto the couch, setting your crutches against the wall beside you.
“I’m going to go to Lisa’s place for awhile,” Jieun said as she flopped onto the couch beside you. “Just call me when you’re ready for me to come home.”
“You don’t have to leave, you know,” you frowned, turning to look at your friend. Jieun just rolled her eyes at you. “I’m serious! I don’t mind.”
“Yeah, but I’m sure Jungkook would,” Jieun snorted. “I’ll let you soulmates do your thing. Just…be careful, okay? Don’t jump headfirst into something you’re not ready for.”
“I’m not going to sleep with him,” you replied, a little incredulously. Jieun winced at that. “We’re just going to watch a movie and talk, I guess.”
“That’s not what I meant,” Jieun said, standing up. She walked over to the foyer and grabbed a jacket from the closet. “Don’t let yourself get swept away by the emotions of the moment.”
“Wow, you’re pretty insightful today,” you commented, trying to lighten the mood. “You should write this shit down.”
“Oh, fuck you,” Jieun laughed. She slipped into her coat. “I’m going to head out now. Call me later, okay?”
On cue, there was a knock at the door. Jieun shot you a serious look before she turned to open the door, but you couldn’t read it. Then, she swung the door open, revealing a slightly nervous Jungkook, still dressed in all black.
Jungkook glanced down at Jieun, who said something quietly to him. From where you were sitting, you couldn’t hear, but you just hoped Jieun wasn’t threatening him. Jungkook frowned and said something back, and then the two brushed passed each other.
Jieun left, shutting the door behind her quietly. When you turned your gaze back to Jungkook, he was smiling lopsidedly at you.
“Hey Y/N,” he said, holding up a plastic bag in his hand. “I brought some Chinese. Hope that’s okay.”
“If I had any doubts that we were soulmates before, I’m completely certain now,” you replied, eyeing the bag hungrily as the scent of Chinese food wafted around the apartment. “You know the way to a girl’s heart.”
“Didn’t think it would be that easy,” Jungkook laughed, stepping out of his shoes and making his way towards you. He set the food onto the coffee table in front of the couch and sat down beside you. “So, what’s the plan?”
“Eating,” you replied immediately, still staring at the takeout. Jungkook laughed again, and when you glanced at him, his eyes were crinkled into crescents. If your heart clenched at that, no one needed to know.
“There was a really good movie I watched recently,” Jungkook said, unpacking the food that he had brought. He popped open the lids, revealing black bean noodles, sweet and sour chicken, and broccoli and beef. You could feel your mouth watering.
“I’m down for anything,” you replied, picking up your laptop from the coffee table. You turned on the screen and opened up your browser. “What’s it called?”
“The Girl Who Leapt Through Time,” Jungkook replied, breaking apart a pair of chopsticks. “Classic.”
“Seriously?” you asked, turning to gawk at him. “Are you a closet weab? How come you never told me before?”
“It’s embarrassing,” Jungkook said, blushing slightly. “I mean…do I look like I watch anime?”
“That’s true,” you agreed, reaching to grab your own set of chopsticks. You split them easily, resisting the urge to rub them together because you had heard it was a rude gesture. “Still, who am I to judge?”
“So you’ve seen the movie already,” Jungkook surmised, popping a piece of beef into his mouth. “I have a billion other suggestions.”
“I haven’t watched Your Name yet,” you commented, fishing out a piece of broccoli. “I heard it was really good.”
“Yeah, I loved it!” Jungkook exclaimed through a mouthful of noodles. “I’ll watch it again, I don’t care.”
And so you pulled up the movie on your laptop, streaming it to the TV in front of you. You and Jungkook ate quickly as the movie played before you. Paying more attention to the food, you startled when Jungkook began quietly singing the opening song along with the movie.
Discreetly, you glanced at Jungkook as he sang. His voice was beautiful, to say the least. He sang effortlessly and melodiously, his clear voice floating around the room. Eventually, the opening ended, and he nonchalantly returned to eating.
“Your voice is beautiful,” you remarked softly, still awed by Jungkook’s performance. He turned to you, his cheeks full of food, and blushed slightly.
“Oh, thank you,” he managed, voice muffled by his full mouth. He chewed with some difficulty, and once he swallowed, he spoke again. “Well, I am a music major.”
“Still,” you sighed reverently. “Some people are just born with nice voices. Damn, I could listen to you sing all day.”
Jungkook’s cheeks darkened, and he coughed awkwardly and turned back to face the movie. “I wouldn’t mind singing for you again,” he said quietly after a few moments. “You know, if you want.”
“Yeah, I’d love that,” you replied honestly. You and Jungkook turned your attention back to the movie with small smiles.
After the movie ended, you and Jungkook just talked for a few hours. You reminisced about the old memories you shared together, and you learned a few new things about each other, too. Like Jungkook was a good artist, and you could play more instruments than he could.
Eventually, you and Jungkook both realized it was time for you to part. It was getting late, but neither of you wanted to say goodbye.
“I should really go now,” Jungkook said again, although he made no attempt to move. “Like, I really should.”
“No one’s stopping you,” you replied, quirking an eyebrow. Jungkook pouted at you–a habit of his you weren’t sure if you’d ever get used to, since it seemed so out of character.
“Rude,” Jungkook said, actually standing up this time. He extended his arms and helped you to your feet, reaching around you to pass you your crutches. “But I guess I do need to leave. Jieun’s waiting to come back, isn’t she?”
“Yeah,” you confirmed. “I’ll walk you to the door, since that’s as far as I’m allowed to go.”
You and Jungkook made your way to the foyer, and he began to put on his shoes. The sight evoked a strange sense of deja vu, but you shrugged it away.
“Tonight was really fun,” you said, and Jungkook smiled up at you from where he was kneeling. Once ha had finished tying his Timberlands, he stood back up.
“I thought so, too,” Jungkook agreed. “I wouldn’t mind doing something like this again.”
“Maybe we could actually go out somewhere if my house arrest is lifted,” you laughed.
“I’m fine anywhere, as long as I’m with you,” Jungkook said shyly. And it was so cheesy, but you couldn’t help but blush. When your eyes met Jungkook’s, his were serious. “Is it okay if I kiss you?”
“Y-yeah,” you stammered, shocked at Jungkook’s request.
His hands came up to gently cup your face, and he stared intently down at you. Slowly, he moved forward, and your eyes fluttered shut. His soft lips pressed gently against yours, where he lingered for a moment. Then, Jungkook pulled away. When you opened your eyes, Jungkook was grinning at you.
“I’ll see you later,” Jungkook said softly, turning towards the door.
“Bye,” you said, your voice nearing a whisper. But Jungkook heard, and turned back to smile at you one last time. Then, he turned the doorknob and slipped out of the apartment, closing the door shut firmly behind him. Again, you were struck by a strong feeling of deja vu.
Then you realized–it was because you had seen this all before.
Jungkook in your apartment, standing in the foyer, putting his shoes on. Jungkook looking at you, a very different expression on his face. Jungkook, your soulmate, turning away from you and slamming the door as he left, his cruel parting words echoing loudly in your mind.
And suddenly, for the first time in weeks, you heard the whispers of Jungkook’s thoughts in the back of your mind. Quieter than before, but present nonetheless. Focusing, you were able to make out your soulmate’s voice.
“Fuck. I really, really, really like her.”
Tears began to pool in your eyes. You weren’t sure what to believe.

Writing about Chinese food made me so hungry. But I can’t even eat anything good because I’m on a damn diet. ANyway, hope you enjoyed this instalment of the series! Sorry it took so long to write. Also this is unedited, so I’ll go back and make any corrections later. I’m going to try to wrap this story up in the next few parts. Let me know if you liked it! Thanks always for the support, and happy reading 💛
Summary: You two are from different houses (i used ravenclaw here, but any other will do) and dont particularly like each other or get along at all. things get steamy one drunk night when all word filters are out of the picture. Warnings: biting kink (and smut, duh). Enjoy ;)
The unbearably long day was slowly nearing to an end with only one class left. Naturally, it was one with the Slytherins. It was agonizing. You couldn’t avoid exchanging a few offensive swear words every time you ran into any of them in the halls. The worst was with Malfoy, the vain boy, proud of his heritage to an extent. It wasn’t until the fourth year that we had actually spoken a word to each other. Before that, it was only brisk eye contacts, his orbs sparkling with disgust. Then, one day I decided to let my mouth outrun my brain as I sad to him: “You don’t have to act like an arsehole if you don’t really want to, you know? Nobody is going to think less of you if you skip voicing your rather unnecessary opinion once in a while.” It was on a Wednesday like this one, the Charms class we had together had just ended. Draco had made a snarky remark on one of my housemate’s ‘ridiculous performance in the simplest charms’. The whole room was dead silent as i finished my sentence. He directed me a glare filled with wrath and said something that would’ve got me detention for a week hadn’t my friends held me back. “Why don’t YOU do everyone a favor and take your ugly presence elsewhere? I would suggest the sewers, where you’d fit in nicely,” that disgusting smirk of victory dancing on his too pale face.
"Stiff wiseacre.“ Draco’s voice rang through my ears as he pushed me away to enter the classroom first. My response rolled off my tongue immediately. "Bleached arsehole.” He turned around, staring at me intensely and would have surely directed me a couple more swear words before Flitwick entered the room and asked us to take our seats. “Why don’t you two just snog already,” my friend whispered as we sat down. “Excuse me?” My eyebrows furrowed and the corners of my mouth turned downwards in distress. “Oh please, Y/N. The sex tension between you two is flaming.” “I fucking hate him.” “You might as well hold a giant banner saying 'sex tension’ the second you two as much as look at each other.” “You’re gonna make me vomit, will you, for the love of God, just stop?” And she did, snickering to herself when the professor started talking.
Later that week, I sat in the Great Hall eating dinner. Much to my dismay, I couldn’t help but let my mind slip into thoughts about Draco. Ever since Jean had drawn my attention to the apparent sexual tension going on, I wouldn’t stop thinking about it. In class my eyes would linger a bit too long on his neck, tracing his smooth skin before I shake my head, snapping out of my bubble. My cheeks would heat up and my palms would get sweaty if he caught me gazing at his lips. “I hate him, what the hell is going on,” I murmured to myself, my words getting lost into the noise of the room. As I lifted my stare I saw Draco strutting to the Slytherin table. My insides twitched when he ran his hand through his sleek hair and connected our gazes. I quickly looked away, a little less discreetly than I wanted to. “I’m finished. You going,”I asked Jean standing up from my chair. “Yeah, I’m coming.”
Before I was ready, another Wednesday rolled around. I caught myself anxiously excited to be able to stare at the young Malfoy from the back of the room. I was standing in front of the classroom with my friends as his voice rang through my ears: “Geek fest, is it?” I felt intense heat rise in me, travelling all the way to my face. I turned to him, opening my mouth to direct him a couple of insults, but my words got stuck in my throat and all I managed to do is cough. The smirk he had playing on his lips disappeared for a second, expressing his confusion, but returned soon enough. Draco walked backwards to the classroom, his eyes piercing through me. All I could do was stare at him and his perfect blue orbs as well. “What the hell was that?” I turned to my friends, every single one of them giving me confused looks.
“Are you going to that party,” Jean asked me about a week later. We were sitting in the Ravenclaw common room, my nose buried in a Potions book. “What party,” I replied without so much as lifting my gaze. “The one that seventh-year girl invited us to. Remember?” “Yeah, I’m not going.”
“Seriously? Why not?” She sounded irritated.
“I don’t know. This whole house unity people are trying to achieve sounds too good to be true. Plus, what if somebody catches us?”
“Oh come on, you are being paranoid, Y/N. You’re going. There will be alcohol.” She ended the last sentence in a sing-song voice.
“Even worse. I don’t want to go, Jean. Will the Slytherins be there?”
“I don’t know. Why?”
The way my cheeks started burning every time there was even an insinuation Draco was going to come up in a conversation started to annoy me. “I’m just trying to avoid unnecessary contact with them.”
Her eyes narrowed. “Is this about Malfoy?”
“What? What about him.” My words were shaky and too rushed.
“Oh Merlin, it is! When did this start? This is so exciting. It’s like in the books! Worst enemies fall for each-”
“Stop,” I yelled standing up, “you’re making this up, just like you made up the ‘sexual tension’.” I air quoted the last words.
“That is easily the biggest lie I’ve ever heard. You are totally whipped.”
“Shut up. Are you hearing yourself?! This is Malfoy we’re talking about!”
“Okay, so prove it. Come to the party.”
“Bet your ass I’m going to.”
The hall echoed as my shoes hit the stone floor. I reached the Room of Requirement and joined the group of fellow Ravenclaws standing in front of it, elicting a couple of whistles from my friends. “Wow, Y/N. Who’s this all for?” “Hmm, I don’t know,” I said in a playful voice,”certainly not for you Theo.” I avoided Jean’s gaze as people laughed at my remark.
We entered the party, the Room of Requirement now spacious, decorated and already crowded. Sofas and chairs were scattered all over. “Welcome guys,” a seventh-year Griffindor yelled over the music,”make yourselves at home!” I grabbed myself a glass of Firewhiskey and searched the room as I took a swig. My heart jumped when I saw Malfoy standing against a wall with a drink in his hand. My eyes then fell on a girl he was talking to. She was beautiful and obviously very interested in him. “Stop,” I mumbled into my chin, trying to get rid of the undeniable feeling of jealousy growing inside. “Hey, Y/N! We’re starting a game of spin the bottle. Wanna join?” “No thanks. Maybe later.” “I’m sure your Slytherin prince will be playing,” Jean whispered, making sure nobody else heard. “And I’m sure I do not care,” I said through gritted teeth,”see you later Jean. Have fun.” “Okay. Right back at you.” She winked at me. I hated how right she was, how much I wished he would ditch that Slytherin girl and got his ass over here and pinned me to the cold wall. How much I wanted his hands everywhere… ‘Oh God, please stop,’ I thought rubbing my temple. ‘You don’t have a chance anyway.’
My gaze was fixed on him. No matter how hard I tried, my stares, my thoughts, everything kept going back to him, as I went to get another drink, as I talked to other people, as I tried to dance. Finally, Theo came up to me, offering me a cigarette. “One of the Muggle-borns smuggled some for us.” I gladly took one. Lighting it quickly with his lighter. It was a guilty pleasure. My eyes shot in Malfoy’s direction once again. Theo turned. “Who are you eyeing tonight?” “No one,” I said quickly.
I leaned against a wall, blowing smoke through my lips slowly. I didn’t even try to break my habit of glancing at the alluring blond boy across the room, only this time finding his stare on me. I quickly shifted, trying to look everywhere except in his direction, taking another drag. “Here, take the whole pack. We have more over there. Now, if you’ll excuse me, some fine birds are waiting to be caged by this beauty.” “Mhmm,” I barely listened to him, snatching the cigarettes from his hand.
I couldn’t shake the magnetic need to eye Draco. I took an upset smoke when I saw him pushing himself of the wall and leaning to the girl’s ear to whisper something, touching her shoulder in the process. Then everything felt frozen, slow and cold when Draco’s darkened blue orbs pierced through me, his tall figure making his way over. My fingertips tingled, adrenaline shooting through my body. He took his time, walking slowly and arrogantly and I almost forgot how to stand and what to do with my hands. After what felt like an eternity, Malfoy lessened the distance and leaned next to me against the wall. We didn’t say anything as I took a drag and blew it out tediously slowly.
“You know,” he started, looking straight ahead,”people say it’s rude to stare.” My heart raced out of my chest, I cleared my throat soundlessly in a poor attempt to keep my composure. “Really?” He finally turned his head to me, but I stood still, desperately trying to look cool smoking my cigarette. “Yeah. But sometimes,” Draco leaned forward, letting his breath skim over my skin,”it can be quite flattering.” For a few seconds I allowed myself to be frozen, a breath stuck in my throat, before I snapped out of it. “That’s really great for you, Malfoy.” He chuckled, sending shivers down my spine. “That’s the first time I ever heard you say my name.” I could practically feel the stupid grin on his face. I rolled my eyes, taking another drag.
He leaned in even more, his lips now dangerously close to my ear. “Are we going pretend I didn’t just catch you staring at me 20 times in the past 5 minutes?” His voice came out as a whisper. With sudden courage exploding in me, I looked him in the eyes, an orgasmic feeling buzzing in my head. ‘He totally wants this too.’
“So what are you going to do about it, Malfoy?” “I love the way you say that.” Draco’s hand touched my hip, then slid to rest on the small of my back. I took in a loud shaky breath, dropping what little was left of my cigarette to the floor. “I don’t know,” he came back to answering my question,”I might ask you to join me outside so we can talk about this.” I peered into his eyes again, quickly dropping my gaze to his lips. “Talk?” My voice was slow and hoarse and I could swear I saw a flash of satisfaction explode in his blue orbs.
Draco’s cold hand found my wrist and he pulled me towards the door. There wasn’t a speck of me that tried or wanted to protest. We were out of the room in a matter of seconds and, before I was ready, his hands were on my hips, pinning me hard to the wall. I let out a quiet squeal, closing my eyes. Draco leaned in, me expecting him to kiss me, but instead started tracing my jawline with his scorching lips. He reached my neck and kissed it with pressure, earning an ‘oh God’ from me. I could feel him smile into my skin before he continued. It was so slow and bursting with lust. My everything was burning and I tangled my hands into Draco’s hair and tugged, adding a small hip roll over him. The Slytherin released a loud moan into my neck, finally pulling back to connect our lips.
The kiss was filled with need and passion and I surprised myself when I broke it to ask:”Is your dorm empty?” His eyes searched my face for a second, before adding a smirk. “We’ll find out.”
The trip to the Slytherin dorms was brisk, with a few short kisses shared along the way. He made me block my ears as he said the password and we were up the stairs is seconds. Draco smiled when we discovered the dorm was, in fact, empty. He pulled out his wand and murmured a couple of spells. “What are you doing?” “I’m locking the door,” he said too harshly,”I thought you Ravenclaws were supposed to be smart.” “Shut up,” I replied, holding back a smile. “I also cast a silencing spell for you.”
A jolt of heat shot through me, going straight to my pussy. His hands slid from my back to my ass as he pushed me towards his bed, my shirt and tie lost in the process. My knees hit the edge of the bed and I grabbed his own tie pulling him into a wet, hot kiss. I fell onto the bed, followed with Draco landing on top of me, a bulge very apparent in his pants. I used this opportunity to grind up on him, enticing another throaty moan, him following my actions and rolling his hips creating friction. My hands worked on his tie and shirt before discarding them and tracing his chest and abs, finding their way to his belt. I went a little lower, stroking him over the fabric.
“Oh God, what you do to me,” he whispered after a loud shaky breath, making me shudder. I was gone in the moment. I wanted to let go and simply let Draco take care of me. “Bite me.” My voice was barely audible, whispered into his warm lips. He froze his actions. “Excuse me?” I bit his lip slowly and tenderly. Draco’s eyes were fixed on mine as he got the memo. He smiled slightly and compiled, starting first on my own lips, then transitioning to my neck. I barely noticed when the Slytherin’s hand started sneaking down my side, finding its way to the button of my pants. It slid over my underwear with ease, applying little pressure. I exhaled harshly and screamed his last name. My back arched as Draco applied more pressure, rubbing up and down.
His bites became more intense and sloppier and I swear I almost came two minutes into our make out. My fingers tangled into his hair and pulled a little, earning a small moan from the blond. I didn’t stop crying out his name, the last cry followed by:”Oh my God, I’m close.”
Draco slowed down his actions and pulled back to look at me. “Enjoying yourself?” His long fingers rubbed my clit painfully slow and I let out a stressed moan. “What was that?” His voice was smug and sweet. “Malfoy, please.” He was incredibly amused as he observed the way I melted under the slightest touch of his.
“Please what?” I cried out in annoyance. “Hmm?” He hummed right into my ear. “Please go down on me.” “As you wish.”
I wasn’t prepared when Draco pulled my pants down abruptly and planted small kisses on the inside of my thigh, before pulling down my underwear as well and I certainly wasn’t prepared when he lifted me up with ease and flipped me. He placed me to sit on his face. Draco took his time actually getting to the task, kissing and licking everywhere but where I needed him. He finally licked up my slit and I cried out his name. His skilled tongue worked me like a drug as I quickly became a moaning mess trapped under his control.
“Fuck, Malfoy. Fuckfuckfuck.” One of his cold, eager hands held my hip as the other slowly slithered in my folds. I lost all power and began shaking, feeling my orgasm creeping up.
Draco stopped and slid under me. “What are you doing,” I asked turning my head to look at him. The blond took of his pants, leaving him only in his boxers. I felt his hands skim over my skin and then rest on my stomach as he hugged me from behind. “Tell me how much you want me right now.” “Overmuch.” He shot shivers down my spine when he chuckled. “Only after you tell me how good I make you feel.” I groaned and leaned my head back on his shoulder. Draco’s hands unhurriedly slid down to my core, rubbing grievously slow circles on my clit.
“So?” “I have never been turned on like this in my life.” “And?” “And you drive me crazy.” He surprised me by kissing my cheek before sliding his boxers down and started slowly pushing into me. The both of us cried out. “Faster,” I said eagerly and he pushed into me the rest of the way vigorously. “Oh my God, Draco!” He sped up his actions, pumping me as I followed grinding my hips.
I struggled with my breath and screamed and moaned, slipping in quite a few curse words. “Thank Merlin for that silencing spell, huh,” he whispered to me and I felt I was close.
Draco’s fingers started working on my clit again and I couldn’t take it anymore. “Fuck, I’m coming,” I cried as I leaned back into him. After a couple of pumps Draco came as well, biting into my shoulder.
We fell onto his bed exhausted and I slid under the covers, laying on my back. “Wow. Who would’ve thought..,” Draco said. He was laying on his side, propped up on his elbow. I turned my head to him. “What?” “I really didn’t think you’d be so good at this,” he said in his usual Malfoy manner, sounding kinda vain. “Oh yeah? I didn’t think it was that special,” I teased. “Oh please. I destroyed you,” he chuckled.
I opened my sore eyes, blinking a few times to get used to the harsh light in the room. I shot up as I remembered last night’s events and realized that it’s already morning. “Shitshitshit.” I got up, still completely naked and started putting on my clothes. “Mmm I could get used to seeing this in the morning,” I heard Draco’s voice behind me. “Shut the hell up, Malfoy! We’re going to be late for class!” He groaned and rubbed his face.
I made sure I picked up all my things and stormed out the door. Halfway down the stairs I stopped and ran back upstairs. I found Draco already putting on his shirt. “Hey arsehole,” I said,”see you later.” He smiled and before he got to say anything, I was already running down the stairs again.
I stormed into the dark Potions classroom and mumbled an apology. When I sat down next to Jean and looked up, I could see everybody glancing at me. “Y/N,” Jean whisper-shouted. “What?”
