your demon

Good Witch Practices

- Cleansing your space, tools, yourself, your grandmother, the neighbour’s cat

- Being patient and fair with baby Witches, you were one once so help em if they need it

- Baby Witches; If you need advice on experience, ask a Witch. If you need to know what a word means, ask Google. If you need to remove a certain someone from your existence, ask a demon. If you need to remove remnants of the certain someone from your clothes, ask a demon parent.

- Don’t police other people’s practices. You do you, they’ll do them, I’ll do me.

- If you don’t feel safe or familiar with something, don’t do it until you’ve researched it a bit. That’s the last time I try break dancing while doing a spell..

- Be realistic. You can’t fly, read minds or stop time. None of us can. Science and Witchcraft are like…the perfect couple. They take each other on dates, remind us we are stuck on Earth and can’t fly, they are always together like all the time. We need to respect them being together so we don’t get hurt.

- Have. Fun. Have so much fun, don’t stop with the fun. Just party all the time. It’s an amazing experience and it should be enjoyed. A L W A Y S

On a more serious note (booo!),please be respectful to yourself and everyone else. We are individuals, we do have limits and we do need to take care, and unless you can break dance don’t do it (I was kidding about that. I can’t even do a handstand)

Y'know it really just concerns me that people are so blind that they are now harassing a crew member, insulting her, telling her she needs to shut up all because they don’t like that she’s speaking on issues that go against the benefits that adults have in fandoms and how much control they really do have over these spaces that involve so many kids

Like that’s entitlement they’ve been sitting on for so long and I wonder how many members it’s gonna take until they’re actually at the point of flipping off the creator.

Literally anyone: When I was-

Me: *Bursts through wall and rips shirt open*  When I was a young boy
My father took me into the city
To see a marching band
He said, “Son, when you grow up
Would you be the savior of the broken
The beaten and the damned?"He said, "Will you defeat them
Your demons, and all the non-believers
The plans that they have made?”
“Because one day I’ll leave you
A phantom to lead you in the summer
To join the black parade.”(When I was a young boy)
(My father took me into the city)
(To see a marching band)
(He said, “Son, when you grow up)
(Would you be the savior of the broken)
(The beaten and the damned?”)Sometimes I get the feeling she’s watching over me
And other times I feel like I should go
And through it all, the rise and fall, the bodies in the streets
And when you’re gone, we want you all to knowWe’ll carry on
We’ll carry on
And though you’re dead and gone believe me
Your memory will carry on
We’ll carry onAnd in my heart I can’t contain it
The anthem won’t explain itA world that sends you reeling from decimated dreams
Your misery and hate will kill us all
So paint it black and take it back
Let’s shout it loud and clear
Defiant to the end we hear the callTo carry on
We’ll carry on
And though you’re dead and gone believe me
Your memory will carry on
We’ll carry onAnd though you’re broken and defeated
Your weary widow marchesOn and on we carry through the fears
Oh, oh, oh
Disappointed faces of your peers
Oh, oh, oh
Take a look at me cause I could not care at allDo or die, you’ll never make me
Because the world will never take my heart
Go and try, you’ll never break me
We want it all, we wanna play this part
I won’t explain or say I’m sorry
I’m unashamed, I’m gonna show my scars
Give a cheer for all the broken
Listen here, because it’s who we are
I’m just a man, I’m not a hero
Just a boy, who had to sing this song
I’m just a man, I’m not a hero
I don’t careWe’ll carry on
We’ll carry on
And though you’re dead and gone believe me
Your memory will carry on
We’ll carry onAnd though you’re broken and defeated
Your weary widow marchesDo or die, you’ll never make me
Because the world will never take my heart
Go and try, you’ll never break me
We want it all, we wanna play this part
(We’ll carry on!)
Do or die, you’ll never make me
Because the world will never take my heart
Go and try, you’ll never break me
We want it all, we wanna play this part
(We’ll carry on!)

Okay but Sherlock’s drug addiction is relatable even to a non addict such as myself because it isn’t really just fighting drug addiction, is it? It’s so much more. It’s getting out of a cycle of mistakes. It’s getting up every day and mustering up the courage to fight everything INSIDE YOU that is pulling you back. The victory lies in the journey, not the end result. That’s what he’s trying so hard to tell everyone. The journey will continue for the rest of his life, for as long as he lives, and so the victory is in waking up and fighting the things that are inside him which are preventing him from being who he wants to be. The real victory lies in fighting your inner demons every single day. And that speaks to me on another level, because that isn’t simple at all, is it? That’s what everyone is striving for, but It. Is. Tough.
