you're so infuriating

I totally believe Jean Valjean is one of those dads who’s completely clueless about modern technology. He still thinks clap phones are cool and refuses to call the hotline because he thinks its a sex phone service or something.

He’s also the dad who spent three weeks texting.like.this. because he couldn’t find the space bar on his phone and who always ends his perfectly spelled texts with a period, unknowingly making them sound passive-aggressive.

And then he does embarrassing stuff like innocently sending wink emojis and asking why the eggplant emoji exists, bless his heart. At some point he starts calling Cosette “bae” and that’s when she draws the line.

“ ‘Bae’ doesn’t mean what you think it means, dad.”

“Doesn’t it mean Before Anyone Else?”

“It…. does, actually. I-Just don’t call me that. I know where you’re coming from but out of context it’s just weird.”

One of my favorite scenes from that fic a lot of us love, “To Be Well”.

It’s never getting out of my head and never will because seeing big scary monster men getting proper therapy and doing cute things like this make life a lot better.

(I’m gonna end up going on a little rant here, so I’ll keep it under the cut)

Srsly, ppl need to stop with the Lexa hate. I think we all need to be reminded that Lexa is introduced as an anti-hero character and this kind of character is always misunderstood and their choices are uneasy to comprehend. You’re all running on your disappointment that she didn’t choose Clarke over her ppl when that’s what someone like her would always do. You’re mad bc you expected her to be nice and martyr for Clarke and yet she did the opposite. She pulled the damned trigger; she did what Lexa the Commander would do. She’s in-character and honestly, I think Clarke would understand this—yet I’m aware that that doesn’t mean Lexa didn’t break both their hearts. She surely did, that’s obvious. But that doesn’t mean Clexa is over, either. The showrunner of the show made it clear that Lexa is hurting as much as we do, probably more, we can’t disregard that fact, it’s vital for her relationship with Clarke and character’s development. We all know she’ll always be the Commander and she got huge responsibilities. She just can’t change overnight, especially they’re in the middle of this chaotic situation. Her character needs time. Give it to her, she’s already faltering anyway, she’s already developing but she needs more time.

Just be happy she’s still alive.

That’s a huge giveaway that they plan more things to do with her character in the future. She’s still got a chance for redemption and who knows, maybe there’s more to it than what happened on the latest ep. Ppl hating on her and giving up on Clexa this quick, you guys aren’t paying attention to the show. I suggest you all to rewatch season 2 again and again and you’ll see my point. Or probably just go take a breather bc your worries are all killing you.

Clexa isn’t dead, it just started.

As for Alycia landing a regular role for a Walking Dead spin-off, that one shouldn’t be top concern when we have little to nothing information about the development of the show. I don’t think it’ll premiere until late next year considering everything they have to set up prior principal photography. Plus the fact that the nature of TWD filming is very different from how most CW shows film their episodes. The theme and the narrative of that kind of show is also a big factor: characters die. More easily than other shows(obviously if you look at my icon you’ll understand where I’m coming from). So we don’t know how long Alycia will be playing her TWD role, unless she becomes instant fan-fanvorite—not saying I’d want her off of it as soon as possible, hell I want her on every show bc she’s precious—but my point is, some regular TWD characters die after a few eps. She could be spending only 1 season, maybe less, maybe more, we don’t know. So we shouldn’t worry about that until further information regarding the show.

That all said, Lexa is still alive and for me, that’s enough.
