You should think about why someone saying you're gay annoys you so much. I'm not trying to belittle your feelings because feelings are valid, but you should understand it's a little offensive to hear someone be so offended about being called what you are when it would never be acknowledged if I complained about someone calling me straight. Why? Because straight is correct, and gay is wrong. It's embedded in our society.

It is not being called gay that bothers me, when people ask I don’t mind saying nah I’m not I’m straight. It’s the people who constantly say that I am lying about it or hiding my true sexuality and some people who for god knows what reason think it’s okay to send me dick pics and when I tell them it’s not okay to ever do that. Just go oh I thought you were just hiding the fact you are gay. I am fortunate to be in a situation that if I was gay I would be accepted by my family and peers so it isn’t something that I would be afraid of. It is people’s constant questioning and disregard of what I say about myself that frustrates me.
