How I Feel About Horatio: you are precious and wise and intelligent and the light of my life and I love you How I Feel About Hamlet: you're a piece of trash, but you're Horatio's piece of trash for some reason so that's good enough for me

I think you just summed up the Hamlet fandom in one go.

Although, I don’t know if I’d discredit Hamlet that much. I mean, besides what we directly see of him in the play, he seems to be a pretty intelligent, thoughtful, and good-hearted kid before the whole murder thing happened. Perhaps an accidental classiest jerk as well, but he’s got some sort of soft spot that made Horatio like him. He’s a nice piece of trash. (“Prince of trash!” Hamlet shouts in the distance, which results in much eye-rolling from Horatio.)

But yeah, we can all agree that Horatio is basically amazing and perfect.
