“Back off Bobby” you said frustratedly. You and the rest of the X-Men were in the middle of training, well actually… you weren’t really training because Bobby would get off your back and allow you to be by yourself.

“I’m just helping you out is all” Bobby argued “we’re team mates after all. We’re supposed to help each other”.

“Oh please you’re not treating me like I team mate” you scoffed “you’re treating me like your little sister. You’re going to have to start trusting me and treat me with a little respect Bobby”.

“I do trust you”.

“Prove it! Let me handle myself”.

The Baudelaire’s refusal to be grateful for their unfortunate events seemed like such a good message for kids - so I made a thing.

When people ask why I love Curtis McKenzie, I always say how nice he is but today blew me away. Last week I gave him his birthday present (2 hats, chocolate and a letter) and I was very happy to give it to him. Today he came out wearing one of the hats I gave him and that had me freaking out so much. Then he came to me and he thanked me very personally for the nice words of the letter and said it was one of the nicest things someone has done for him. Then, he handed me this stick. We had a great conversation. I didn’t realize it was signed until someone asked what it said because I was so caught up in the hat and him thanking me. I just wanted to share how absolutely incredible Curtis is. I’ve never felt more appreciated as a fan as I have today. Thank you Curtis McKenzie

Please don’t think that you deserve to be misgendered because your pronouns are “too hard.”

Please don’t think that you deserve to be dead-named because your real name is “too different.”

Please don’t think that you deserve to have your gender invalidated because it’s “too new.”

Please don’t think that you deserve to suffer exorsexism because others can’t find it in themselves to learn or respect you.

You can be understood, and you have every right to live the way you wish.

You deserve to have a place in this world.

not to be dramatic but i’m sick of being just dandelions to you. bees think i’m beautiful. i used to hate yellow because of how you treated the brightness in me. now i’m seeing yellow glow in everything. you never quite liked my hair or how i swayed while dancing but i’m learning that it’s because you don’t find music in wind and i can. what i’m saying is you saw me as mediocre. and i’m finally learning i deserve better.
