Anon: Caroline gets jealous when another girl flirts with Klaus
Thanks for the prompt!
She downed another shot, ignoring Kol’s smug expression. “Shut up.”
“Whatever could the problem be, darling, that drives you to drink?” he asked teasingly. “Surely, you’re not upset about Nik’s little girlfriend.”
Her teeth grit together, determined to leave the bar altogether. Caroline had no idea why she let Kol taunt her into visiting the place, knowing Klaus was lurking about Oslo as well. Seeing him with a beautiful blonde woman, her hand lingering on his arm, hurt more than she expected. It’s not like she had a claim on him; they hadn’t seen each other in a decade at least.
Maybe that was why she let Kol pick out her littlest black dress and some strappy heels. He was hardly the Mikaelson she expected to grow fond of over the years, but Enzo liked him; the boys had been attached at the hip since a rave in Berlin, and irritated her to no end. But they were hers, whatever that meant.
Enzo had already left with a pretty couple, winking for Kol to join when he inevitably got bored with baiting Caroline. “You really think he doesn’t know you’re here?”
Taking a final swig straight from the bottle, Caroline set it down with a piercing look. “Nope,” she popped. “Because I’m not. I’m leaving.”
She was barely out the door when the air displaced around her until Klaus had her pressed against the stone wall. “Took you long enough to throw a fit,” he teased, no better than his brother. “Her name’s Ursula, if you were wondering.”
“I’m impressed you got her name with her boobs in your face,” Caroline said, attempting to sound bored. “If you don’t mind, I’ll let you get back to your date.”
Klaus tapped her nose, smiling when her fangs dropped to snap at his finger. “I prefer a bloodthirstier option,” he whispered, pressing his lips to hers. He fearlessly ran his tongue along her fangs, letting her suck from the small cut they made. “Your attention can be hard to obtain.”
Her eyes narrowed into slits. “What did you have to do to get Kol to arrange this bootycall?”
“Easy,” he smirked, running his nose along hers. “He and Bekah had a bet when we’d manage to find each other again. His time was running out.”
Caroline smacked his shoulder, sending a glare to Kol as he gleefully passed their public display. “You suck.”
As Klaus lightly nibbled at her neck, though, she allowed Kol to leave in his triumph. She could always make him split the winnings with her later.
