Yoosung meets a woman that has an uncanny resemblance to Rika at his college and becomes infatuated with her and begins neglecting MC

@rfascenariios hahahahaha, so I sometimes accidentally open blogs and then end up scrolling through and I found this, even though I have a mountain of other head canons to work on, but I just love this so much, so here you go.

  • It started with a picture that Yoosung posted on the messenger
  • “I found Rika! Or, at least a woman that looks just like her! She’s in one of my classes and her name is Yumi!”
  • He wasn’t wrong. She did look just like Rika.
  • Yoosung talks about her constantly, getting to know her at school
  • Now, he and MC have been dating for about a year and a half now, and she gets kind of worried about the fervor in which he is treating Yumi
  • Yoosung gets invited out to a mixer with his friends, so MC is invited along and Yumi is there
  • MC gets to talk to Yumi and she’s nice enough, but admits that she has her sights set on Yoosung
  • When MC tells Yumi that she and Yoosung are already dating, Yumi says, “Really? Because he treats me more like his girlfriend that he does you.”
  • After the mixer, MC asks Yoosung if he loves her, and he says yes, of course, but she’s still really nervous about the whole thing and not sure if she believes him
  • And his talk of Yumi continues to escalate, because she started asking questions about Rika and emulating her
  • Eventually, MC tries to express her hurt to Yoosung about the whole thing via messenger, but he doesn’t understand why she’s all bent out of shape
  • Zen and Seven get in on this as well, basically trying to explain what’s going on in MC’s head, but Yoosung refuses to listen
  • It’s not until Yoosung skips a date with MC to hang out with Yumi that things get ugly
  • She’s hurt, but she doesn’t let it affect her too much, hoping he still loves her
  • Zen even yells at Yoosung for doing that
  • The next day, MC shows up at his school to drop off his lunch, which she always brings for him on Tuesday’s, but Yumi sees her first, says that he’s busy studying and, without being a student, you can’t get into the library, so she’ll take the lunch to him
  • As soon as she has the lunch in her hands, she tells MC, “Yoosung and I went out on a date, by the way. You should probably stop bringing him food. He’s moved on.”
  • MC walks away in tears
  • She goes onto the messenger and says that she needs to break up with Yoosung, as much as it breaks her heart, because he doesn’t love her anymore
  • All he loves is a memory of Rika and the woman that looks just like her
  • He doesn’t see it until after his class with Yumi, and he ends up frozen for a few minutes just staring at the message… until Yumi reads it over his shoulder and offers her condolences
  • Yoosung, having been snapped out of it, says he needs to go find MC and talk to her, he doesn’t want to break up, he doesn’t understand why she would do this
  • However, she’s busy drinking with Zen and Jaehee, her phone is turned off, and Yoosung doesn’t know where she is
  • That night, MC stumbles back home, still super drunk, and realizes that she accidentally went to Yoosung’s apartment
  • Now MC is about to turn away when she checks the messenger and sees that he wants to talk about this, so she decides that now is as good as ever…
  • She gets her phone out to start recording because she knows she won’t remember in the morning
  • ….only to walk up the stairs to his apartment to find that Yoosung’s kissing Yumi
  • MC drops her purse out of shock, and when he hears the sound, he freaks, and tries to push Yumi away (what he was trying to do all along)
  • MC doesn’t hear him calling after her and just half stumbles, half runs away
  • She posts a picture on the messenger of Yoosung and Yumi kissing
  • “I thought he wanted to talk to convince me not to leave him. Guess I was wrong. I was wrong about everything.”
  • Zen tries to jump to his defense, saying that Yoosung looks uncomfortable, like he doesn’t want it, but MC just says, “I need to go drown my sorrows in ice cream and romance movies. I’ll check the messenger once a day from now on. Don’t worry about me.”
  • She does as promised, sits at home, crying, eating ice cream, and watching anything with a romance premise
  • Her coworkers worry about her when she’s at work because her eyes all puffy and red, but she just explains that she had a really bad break up
  • One coworker offers to beat him up for her once they hear the details, but she declines
  • She tries to get Jumin’s advice on killing her emotions so she can stop hurting
  • Yoosung finally manages to ambush her a few days after she saw him kissing Yumi at her apartment before she leaves to go to the grocery store
  • He explains that Yumi was there trying to help him (or so she claimed), then suddenly grabbed him and kissed him. She then tried to convince him that MC didn’t love him and only Yumi could
  • But Yoosung knows better, he feels like a jerk, and realizes that Yumi is nothing like the Rika he knew (which wasn’t necessarily the real Rika, but he doesn’t know that)
  • He begs MC to take him back
  • MC states that they’ll start with the dinner she’s about to make, and they can go from there
  • They go grocery shopping, then cook and eat together
  • He ends up kissing her goodbye at the end of the night
  • And twenty minutes after leaving, he comes back and, just-
  • This impulsive, loving yandere child just drops down on one knee with a ring in his hand
  • A few weeks later, Yumi has made no further progress with Yoosung and is getting frustrated, and when MC shows up on campus again to give Yoosung his lunch, Yumi goes to confront her…. then sees the ring on her finger
  • Before Yumi can approach to ask what’s going on, Yoosung is there, kissing MC, giddy as ever to see her
  • Yumi is forced to walk away and save herself the embarassment

Dean didn’t notice as he was too excited that his mother was back, and you didn’t have the heart to ruin that. So you kept ignoring her, but eventually it all got to be to much. You were walking through the bunker looking through your phone when you heard Dean yell.

“(Y/N) COME HERE!”

You rushed through the halls and into the war room where Dean was hunched over the table.

“What’s wrong?”

“You know damn well what’s wrong here!”

You stared at him in confusion,” If this is about the pie I swear I didn’t -”

Luke dies in his fight with the Emperor before Vader has a chance to save him.

This breaks Vader, to the point where he just fucking leaves the Empire and goes off to find Leia “there is another” Organa and what remains of the Rebellion.

And he shows up on Leia’s doorstep, to which Leia shoots him immediately. “Okay that’s fair,” he says, wheezing and holding his wired shoulder in pain.

“What do you want?” she says, this time aiming the blaster at his head. “Answer quickly.”

He tosses her Luke’s lightsaber. “This should belong to you. He would want you to have it.” He coughs, “And I want to join the Rebellion.”

Leia lowers her gun very carefully. “Explain.”

“What is there to explain?” Vader stands fully, towering over Leia. “He killed my son. I want the Emperor dead. At this point, I no longer care what government replaces him so long as the man who murdered my son is dead.”

Leia thinks I can work with that.

So you have Leia here steadfastly ignoring Obi-Wan and Yoda’s ghosts who follow her around spouting Jedi nonsense, of which she refuses to listen to unless they let her talk to Luke, who instead turns to Darth Vader to learn the ways of the Force. “Lost, all hope is” except it isn’t.

Because you have Darth “Probably Not A Dark Sider Anymore But Also Wouldn’t Call Him a Jedi” Vader and Leia “Anger Is My Middle Name But I’m Also Firmly In the Light” Organa teaming up and wrecking havok on literally everything. Seriously, there are whole planets on fire.

Vader teaches Leia the Force, and they never bring up the fact that they are related if they can help it (which means, inevitably, that they end up talking about it occasionally: “You look like your mother,” “…What was she like?” v. “I see now why Obi-Wan didn’t train you. You couldn’t be more my daughter if you tried. Poor Bail…I can only imagine what you were like as a child.” with Leia sputtering “HOW DARE”).

meanwhile Han Solo is following them holding a baby Ben (who, I imagine, is now named Luke) going “guys? guys? i don’t understand. why is darth vader here. leia why haven’t you shot him. leia can I shoot him? leia we should probably not set this planet on fir–okay, so we’re setting this place on fire. cool cool cool”

in the afterlife, Obi-Wan and Yoda are mourning about how ALL IS LOST while Padme and Luke are drinking mimosas and laughing because they knew there was good there all along.

WRONG NUMBER // Fanfic

Modern AU // Nessian

Prompt: “Wrong number”

Here you go. :)

I am going to kill him. I am actually going to kill him. I know I’ve said it before but this time I mean it. Nesta texts as she walks up the walkway to her house.

If your killing people should you really be telling me? I don’t want to be associated with your crime. Nesta is surprised how fast her sister replied. Usually it takes her an hour at the minimum to reply.

Feyre, I don’t have time for your jokes. I need you to talk me down before I go over there and run him over with my car. Nesta shot back, as she unlocked her door and walking into her empty house. She had moved here a year ago and was still slowly unpacking.

Would running him over be the best choice? It’d be pretty messy.

Can you stop being such a sociopath? I actually need help right now.

Nesta pauses, before continuing to text. I caught him with another girl. again.

Who? Nesta rolls her eyes when she reads her sisters reply. She was probably trying to multitask again.

My boyfriend, Tomas? Are you drunk? Don’t you have an exam tomorrow morning that you shouldn’t be hungover for?

I just wanted to make sure we were still talking about the same guy. Why have you let this guy cheat on you twice?

Do you know how disappointed dad would be if I broke up with him? I just need to figure out a way to let him down easy.

Don’t let him down easy. Dump his sorry *peach emoji* Nesta furrows her brow at her sisters choice of emoji. Feyre never used emojis.

I meant I have to let dad down easy. I’ve told you about my plan for the break up before. How exactly could you forget that?

Cassian looks up from his phone when his friend Rhys walks through the door. “We have a case down at the east side. It was a hit and run,” Rhys says, dropping the case file on his desk.

Cassian looks down at his phone and then back up at Rhys. “Who was it?” he asks.

“If you read the file I just dropped on your desk you would know that it was an old lady who goes by the name, Bertha,” Rhys replies, gathering the stuff he needed for the case.

“Hey, ladies, you coming or what?” Mor yells, walking past their desks. “We have an old lady we need to avenge.”

Cassian rolls his eyes as he gets up to follow them. His phone buzzes in his pocket and he sees a new message from the number that’s been texting him all morning. I am having dinner with dad tomorrow. Could you come for backup? I would rather not be killed before I have a chance to make Tomas cry.

Cassian laughs earning a curious glance from Mor. “Nice phone. I see you finally took my advice and upgraded. Who’s are you texting that has you all smiley?” she asks, matching his pace and trying to look over his shoulder at his phone.

Cassian sends a quick reply, Remind me in person. You know how stressed I’ve been with my exams I’ll probably forget. “I don’t know actually, it’s a wrong number,” he shrugs.

“Seriously? Your not going to tell me?” Mor exclaims, “I’ll figure it out eventually. You can’t keep secrets for long.”

Cassian chuckles as he follows them towards the squad car.

“Hey Feyre,” Nesta says, walking into her sisters apartment. Feyre was seated at her kitchen table surrounded by open books and lecture notes. “Having fun studying?”

“Oh yeah, I just love being up to my nose in exam review sheets,” Feyre replies, leaning back in her chair and stretching her arm. “What brings you here?”

“I am here to remind you about dinner tonight, can you still come?” Nesta asks, walking over to Feyre’s fridge and grabs a water bottle.

“We’re having dinner tonight?” Feyre asks.

Nesta laughs, “Yeah, can you come? I am going to tell about Tomas.”

“Really? What did he do this time?” Feyre asks.

Nesta raises an eyebrow suspiciously, “Maybe you should take a break from studying.”

Feyre nods, “Your probably right. Okay, I’ll come to dinner tonight. I just need to go change,” she says.

Nesta sits down on the couch as Feyre disappears into her room. She emerges minutes later no longer in pajamas. “Oh, I forgot to tell you that I got a new phone,” she says, holding up her new phone. “Do you want to go ahead and get my new number?”

Nesta freezes, “Wait, you have a new number? When did you get a new phone?”

Feyre shrugs as she grabs her jacket. “About three days? Maybe four.”

Nesta looks down at her phone and then back up at Feyre. Who has she been texting the past day and a half?

Started as a prompt and might turn into a series? Would you guys want that?

romanitas  asked:

rebelcaptain, not even necessarily an au; This wasn’t meant to be a date, but we’ve had such a good time and now it’s 2 a.m. and I should really go home…

This is not the first time mission planning sessions have run into the early hours of the morning. Cassian is meticulous, and Jyn likes to argue. It’s a part of what makes them such a good team.

It’s not the first time she’s leaned back with her arms over her head, cracked the knots out of her spine and felt his gaze skimming over her form. It’s not the first time he’s shoved a distracted hand back through hair that’s edging towards too-long and had her lift her fingers to do it properly.

It’s not the first time being too close hasn’t felt close enough. They’re bent over datapads, the privacy of Cassian’s quarters pressing down on them, shoulders and hips and thighs barely brushing each other, but this has been par for the course for weeks now.

Physical proximity is easy. Neither of them have become any better at using their words since Scariff.

“It’s late.” Cassian cuts himself off in the middle of tracing a path through a shitty map another intelligence agent had sketched out. “We should pick this up tomorrow.”

Jyn squints at him. “Are you…volunteering to stop working?”

The corner of his mouth twitches. “It’s two in the morning.”

“Who are you, and what have you done with Cassian Andor.”

“We’ve both been awake for nearly twenty four hours, and our brains are not working at optimum capacity. How’s that?”

A faint smile steals across her face as she ducks her head in acknowledgement. “There he is.”

“I hadn’t realised I went anywhere.”

It’s a sentence with layers of meaning, made greater by the way it just sort of slips out. Because he hasn’t gone anywhere, of course. A couple of months is a stupid amount of time to reverse a life of paranoia and distrust, but there’s something about watching your death roil towards you on the horizon that sears away a lot of baggage. Or at least as it applies to the person you’re expecting to die with.

“I should go,” she says, because a lot of baggage is gone, but ‘struggles with emotional intimacy’ is still rusting away there.

Cassian leans back in his seat, giving her breathing room. “You should,” he agrees, but makes no other move to indicate that’s what he wants. He crossing his arms loosely over his chest, and doesn’t break her gaze.

If it feels like a challenge, that’s probably because. And if this night is no different than all the other nights, maybe that’s why he’s finally dragging this thing between them out into the light. Because it isn’t changing, and it isn’t going away, and it might just be here for the foreseeable future.

“But you can stay as long as you like.”

She swallows. “I thought you said we should pick this up tomorrow.”

The quirk is back, and she can’t decide if she wants to punch him in the mouth, or do something else entirely.

“Ah. Allow me to be more specific.” He nods at the datapads. “We should pick that up tomorrow.”

You can stay as long as you like.

The truth is, she’s not used to doing things she likes. She’s barely warming up to the idea of doing things that are adequately acceptable. On the other hand, she’s not the kind of woman to back down from a challenge, and the light flickering behind the warm brown of Cassian’s eyes says he knows it. That he’s counting on it.

So she swings her chair to face him properly, kicking one leg over the other and raises her eyebrows at him. “Are you going to kiss me?” she demands. “Or are we just going to spend the rest of the night talking around this?”

The way he chokes and nearly falls out of the chair goes a long way towards making up for the fact that she had to ask.

(Lucky for both Jyn’s ego and Cassian himself, the answer to the first question is yes)

Admitting it

One shot : You’re Harry’s best friend who happens to be hopelessly in love with him. He doesn’t know, though and is dating Kendall Jenner. Until he shows up at your door.

I hope you guys will like this one shot! I feel a little bad because it’s again Kendall’s name I’m using, but it really is simply because of her’s and Harry’s past relationship.
As always, requests and feedback are welcome.

Picture is not mine. It’s a gift from tumblr.

A loud sigh escaped  my mouth and I hung my head low in exhaustion, my face hidden behind my sweaty palms. I felt as if all the responsibilities I had been trying to somehow balance on my shoulders over the past weeks came crumbling down like a wall of bricks, burying me. The familiar sound of my ringtone interrupted my thoughts and seeing the name flashing on the screen stopped any tears from spilling over.  My shaking fingers hastily slid over the phone screen and I eagerly pressed the device to my ear, desperate to hear the warmth of his voice.

“Harry! You have no idea how relieved I am that you’re calling.”

“M'glad to hear your voice, too, babe,” Harry answered, no hint of  a smile in his voice. He sounded oddly quiet and collected, not at all like the cheerful best friend he normally was.

“Are you alright?” I asked and pushed some of the books sprawled out in front of me away. There wasn’t much I would finish today anyway, especially not if Harry was unwell.

Ever since we had first bumped into each other it hadn’t taken more than one coffee to forge a strong bond between us. I always had his back and he had mine, protecting and supporting each other without questioning it. We often stayed at each other’s places for several days at once, trying to make the most of it given that the hectics of our daily lives didn’t allow us to spend too much time together. All of this remained merely platonic to him. I however, foolish as I was, had to fall so deeply in love with him I couldn’t even see the surface anymore.

“M'fine,” Harry hummed.

I didn’t quite buy his promise by the still rather void tone in his voice.

“You don’t sound like it, love,” I murmured, “what’s bugging you?”

I heard him take in a deep breath on the other side of the line, as if he needed to prepare for what he wanted to say next. When he spoke again his voice was much more tense.

“You know how Kendall and I have been going out and stuff, right?”

I coughed as a lump crawled up my throat and swallowed hard before forcing out a small, “Yes.” My mind was already racing and torturing me with endless scenarios of what exactly he was implying by saying “stuff”.

When Harry had first brought Kendall around, I had already built a biased opinion on her. Her family’s public oriented life wasn’t something I could understand and never would it have come to my mind that Harry somehow could. Privacy was one of his top priorities. Meeting Kendall in person however had been different than expected and after two drinks with her I had to admit that she and Harry did fit together. She knew when to laugh, asked me questions about my much less eventful life than hers was and even hugged me when saying goodbye. And of course, she was of striking beauty. One look at her and it was clear how she was Harry’s match in every sense of the word.
After leaving them to climb into their taxi together and to head to his place I was overcome by sadness. Never had I confessed my feelings for Harry to him and now came the regret. I had noticed him observe me throughout the night, proving further how important it was to him that his friends liked her. A clear sign that their relationship was to be taken serious.

“I hope everything’s fine between the two of you,” I mumbled, hoping he’d believe the small lie.

“Not quite,” Harry replied, “we aren’t working out like I thought we would. And I feel so confused.” he broke off and I just knew he was shaking his head in lack of understanding.

“Is it because you’re apart too much?”

“No, I don’t think so,” he answered quickly, “Our houses aren’t too far apart from each other’s and now that I’m on my break I often fly out to see her. I’d say we spend 4 out of 7 days per week with each other.”

I tried to ignore the sting in my chest upon that information.

“If time isn’t the problem, then what is?” I asked.

So far in the year of us being close we’d only had two arguments and in both situations it was about me being upset because he wasn’t around.
Harry didn’t answer my question but paused to think of his next words, picking them carefully like he always did.

“She’s just not been acting the way the way she did when I met her. Not a day goes by where she doesn’t question me about my whereabouts or who it is that I am texting or calling. Kendall complains about everything I do and claims I’m distracted. Sometimes she even says she thinks it’s because of you. That you and I are dating. Can you believe that?”

“Crazy,” I laughed dryly. “What does she say when you ask her about her doubts?”

“Either that it’s nothing, she doesn’t want to talk about it or she refuses to answer me altogether. Shit like ‘you know exactly what this is about’, too.”

Harry cleared his throat and took a deep breath, “Aside from missing you like crazy, I called to ask for advice on what I should do.”

“I couldn’t possibly tell you. I only know half about your relationship or how your feelings for her are,” I protested.
I knew full well I could never stay objective and so any advice I would give him wouldn’t be an honest one.
“All I could do is tell you to listen to your instincts. As they’re usually pretty good.”

“So you wouldn’t advise me to break up with her?” he asked me, sounding almost shy.
I cleared my throat, searching for words. He was unbelievable. Why did he have to ask me, the girl who loved him more than his girlfriend ever could, whether or not he should be single again?

“No, I wouldn’t,” I whispered timidly, choosing to push my selfishness aside.

“Hm. Alright.”

“Would you break up with her had just told you that I think it would be for the best?”

“Probably, yeah,” he answered. “But I’ll think it through one more time then.”

I wanted to die.

“You should do that,” I encouraged, mentally slapping myself. “You have to take care of yourself, though. I don’t want you to let it get too close to your heart.”

Harry sighed and I grinned when he mumbled something under his breath.

“What was that, H?”

“I miss you,” he repeated quietly.

“I miss you, too, Harry,” I admitted, “A lot.”

The faint noise of his laugh was enough to make my stomach flutter. My breathing picked up and I pictured him sitting there with a smile on his face because he had me advising him. After years of supporting his career I was glad to be able to be there for him privately as well.

“You should come visit me,” I spoke abruptly.

“What?”

“Think about it. You’ve never met my family before and it would give you a break from everything! Here in my hometown you would be safe from media attention and you could think about what to do next with Kendall,” I rambled, unable to contain what I truly wanted any longer. Him by my side and away from his model to maybe, finally, see me the way I saw him.

“Visit?” he asked, surprise evident in his tone, “I-I can’t- Y/N, I miss you. I do, really, but I don’t think I can leave just like that. Kendall would throw a fit and I can’t just leave in the middle of all this without talking properly to her. I’m sorry-”

I swallowed hard and tried to breath through the stinging feeling in my chest.

“I understand that,” I interrupted him quickly. “Figuring out your relationship comes first. As it should.”

“No,” Harry disagreed, his voice sounded urgent, “Don’t say it like that. You know I would never put anyone or anything before you.”

The corner of my mouth twitched into a smile.

“Are you in LA?” I asked.

“I am. Why?”

“I just want you to know that there’s a door to my house that is always wide open for you. Metaphorically speaking, not literally. That’d be weird otherwise.”

He exhaled loudly and cleared his throat.

“Y/N?”

“Yes, H?”

“You really are the best friend I have.”

My heart swelled and I felt glad that he couldn’t see my burning cheeks.

“Right back at you. Please take good care of yourself, okay?”

“I’ll try. You do too, yeah?”

“Always do.”

And with that we ended the phone call. That Harry hadn’t jumped onto my offer of him to come here began to hurt a little, but it wasn’t like I had expected anything else. The fact that he still wanted to be a good boyfriend to a woman he knew didn’t appreciate it, made me love him even more.

…..

It had been little over two weeks since I’d spoked to Harry and there had been absolute radio silence since. My family left town for the weekend and I had decided to use the quiet home to catch up on some of the work I had still left to do. On one evening however I didn’t feel like it at all.
Although the story I was reading had me clinging to every word, I couldn’t stop myself from glancing at the phone to check for a message from Harry every once in a while. The hope hadn’t died down yet.
The sound of the doorbell straddled me. It was 10:30 pm and the sky outside had turned dark hours ago. A nervous feeling settled in the pit of my stomach. I’ve definitely watched too many horror films. Hesitantly I got up and walked to the door where I peeked through the window next to it. A movement in the dark made me jump but my heart instantly squeezed when I recognized the person waiting outside. I quickly unlocked the door and stepped out. The breath was knocked right out of me. The surprise of seeing him and how beautiful he was didn’t didn’t distract me from how exhausted he looked.

“Harry?”

“Hi,” he murmured, a faint smile on his face.

Within a second I had thrown myself at him and secured my arms around his neck while his wrapped tightly around my waist, holding me close to his chest.

“I can’t believe you came! I missed you so much,” I gushed.

After three months of being apart, I finally had him in front of me. Finally held him again. His body was warm and his shoulders strong under my touch. My hands found his hair and I exhaled happily upon finally being able to play with his soft curls again. I couldn’t swipe the smile off my face and enjoyed being able to breath him in again. Three months apart and he felt as familiar as if he’d never been gone.

“I hope it’s okay,” Harry mumbled into my hair. “You said I could visit and I…I just-” he broke off and pulled away from me before coughing heavily.

I gently patted his back in an effort to calm him. “Did your flannels not protect you from the threat that is the common cold? You should know better given how much time you spent in the oh so cold LA.”

A faint smile danced on his lips at my jokingly cooing voice, as he shook his head and with a final cough relaxed again.

“More likely in Ireland. I was visiting Niall last week.”

He came closer again and widen his arms to me. My heart jumped at the cocky half smile he had dancing on his cheeks and I gladly stepped into his arms, attaching mine once more around his shoulders. He squeezed my waist and I in return pressed a kiss to his warm cheek.

“That’s lovely,” I mumbled, “And it’s more than okay that you’re here, Harry. You’re always welcome.”

Harry hummed and nuzzled his face into my neck. I giggled quietly and shrieked when he bit down.

“I’ve missed this.”

“Me too,” he whispered and exhaled a long breath.

Though I loved having Harry this close, it was this exact kind of behavior that had me close to loosing my mind. Having him embrace and holding on to me like this felt as if he needed me as desperately as I did him. And that wasn’t the case. He had Kendall.

Humming upon feeling his lips against the skin of my neck, I whispered gently: “How did everything go?”

He shrugged and released me slowly only leaving his hands to rest on my shoulders. From this close I could see the glossiness of his eyes and how sore the skin around his eyes and his cheeks was. I carefully brushed the back of my hand over the redness, hissing at how tender it felt.

“Harry?”

“It went fine,” he muttered. “Kendall and I are over.”

Relief, mixed with worry for my friend flooded me and I felt like crying when he looked at me with what I interpreted as sadness in his eyes.

“I’m sorry,” I whispered. “I know how much she meant to you.”

Though I didn’t. Selfish as I was I had never asked him a lot about Kendall and was a little taken aback by the emotion in his eyes.

He shook his head, smiling a little. “That’s not what’s going on right now, Y/N.”

“Then what is?” I asked, confused by his words.

Harry shrugged and took my hand. “I’ll tell you later.”

“I’m so sorry,” I whispered. “You seem so upset. This isn’t fair. No one as kind and good as you should feel like this.”

Harry shook his head once more and leaned forward to press a quick kiss to my cheek. “I’m alright, love. You worry more than you have to.”

My eyes narrowed as I observed his face. “I still don’t buy it, but let’s go inside, okay? I don’t want you to actually get sick.”

Ten minutes later Harry sat in my kitchen and watched me make tea for us both while he recollected the invents of the past weeks. He told me that Kendall hadn’t been surprised when he told her that he thought a break up would be for the best and that they were on good terms still.

“But I figured I’m gonna give her some space before calling or texting her again. To cool off a bit.”

“So it was you who ended things and not her?” I asked, a frown forming on my forehead.

Harry smiled when he noticed and tilted his head. “Does that surprise you?”

“I mean,” I began carefully, “if you’re happier like this I’m all for it of course, but I just didn’t expect it. Over the phone you sounded like you were sad about her creating distance between the two of you. I thought you loved her.”

At that he shook his head and cleared his throat.

“Absolutely not. I liked her, but I could have never been in love with her. And neither did she love me. We were friends feeling like we somehow owed it to each other to at least try to be more, but she mistrusted me so quickly and always jumped on every article of me cheating on her. She read the worst shit about me and always believed every prejudice.”

I snorted at that. “Well that’s rich coming from her. God knows how much crap is being said about her on a daily basis and you never let that change a thing about how you felt for her. She couldn’t even give the same to you? That’s plain shitty of her.”

I shook my head, anger flooding through my body. Harry was so much more than what people made him out to be over the media and to know that his girlfriend didn’t appreciate him enough to see that, disappointed me. I was in the middle of turning to get mugs for our tea when I felt two arms wrap around me from behind. A small gasp escaped my lips when Harry stepped closer to press his chest against my back.

“Don’t frown, darling,” he mumbled and pressed his lips against my temple, “It’s all good now.”

I reached down and gently caressed his hands that were resting against my stomach.

“I just hate it when people treat you like that. You’re the kindest man I know and I wish you’d get some of what you give back sometimes. Especially from people you care about a lot.”

He only hummed and nuzzled his head into my neck where he kissed my skin. His hold on me tightened and I leaned my head further back so I could feel his short hair against my cheek.

“Y/N?”

“Hm?”

“Is it true that you love me?”

My entire body froze and my heart beat so fast I could’ve sworn it would burst at any second.

“W-what?” I whispered. My body twisted and I tried to shrug his hold off but he only tightened his arms.

“Niall told me,” Harry murmured quietly, pulling me back closer against his chest. “He said you have for ages. You told him that you were too afraid to tell me. Is that true?”

“Niall he-” I cleared my throat, my mind desperate to catch up on what was going on. I shrugged again and this time Harry loosened his hold and allowed me to move away. My mind tried to think of a story I could sell him that would somehow keep me from loosing my best friend. All because I couldn’t keep my emotions at bay.

“You’re why I broke up with Kendall,” Harry said calmly.

I looked up to meet his shy gaze. When he knew he had my attention he continued:

“Y/N, I couldn’t force myself to try to fix this relationship. It wasn’t working out and it really began to mess with my head.”

I shook my head and willed myself not to cry in front of him.

“So you travled to Ireland where Niall gave you the perfect solution.”

I took a deep breath and Harry frowned at my words.

“Go get the girl who’s easy and wouldn’t mind being your rebound,” I spat, anger replacing my hurt and betrayal. I couldn’t even decide at whom I was more angry. Niall or Harry.
“Well, I’m sorry to burst your bubble, but I am not a rebound for you and how even dare you think that! Using my feelings for you against me like this?!”

Harry moved quickly when the first sob shook me and took my hands in his. His sincere eyes met my teary ones and he reached his hands up to brush my cheeks.
“That’s not what’s going on here, Y/N. Calm breaths, darling and let me explain.”

I nodded, still slightly dazed and he smiled in relief.

“You are the most important person in my life, Y/N. You have been for what feels like forever now. But I didn’t think you felt the same so I didn’t say anything and threw myself into this relationship with Kendall, because honestly, I got lonely.”

He breathed heavily and moved his hands to my waist, holding me less than an arms reach away.

“And I was so unhappy in this relationship with her, because all I wanted is you. You never left my mind, not once and every minute I was with her, I wished it was you instead.”

I pulled a face at that. The situations he might have been in with her while thinking of me came to my mind. Reading my thoughts he chuckled a bit.

“Yeah, in those situations, too.”

“Oh, good god Harry!” I scolded and he laughed, grasping my hands when I tried to push him away. He cleared his throat and coughed.

“When I called you, I hoped you’d say something to indicate that you felt the same. When you didn’t, I decided to travel to Niall for advise and to clear my head. But before that I broke off with her. Niall didn’t tell me anything about your feelings for me while I was still with Kendall, I swear. I broke up because I felt too guilty for lying to Kendall like this and not because I knew there was a possibility that you’d let me have you.”

I swallowed hard, my heart pounding in my chest.

“This is…” I began, taking a deep breath, “a lot.”

“I know,” Harry replied, a cocky smile playing on his lips.

I shoved him back. “Don’t grin at me like that!”

“Why?” he laughed and took hold of my waist again. The warmth of his hands instantly relaxed me as he moved his hands to rest beneath my shirt so he could touch my skin. “I feel such a relief now. Having this out in the open, you know?”

My kitchen felt awfully small though I knew this conversation wouldn’t be half as bearable if it was with anyone else. I pried Harry’s hands from me and moved a few steps away again. His worried gaze followed me.

“Aren’t you happy?”

“I am,” I reassured him, not liking the scared undertone his words had, “But I’m a little overwhelmed, Harry. It wasn’t like I chose to tell you about how I feel. I wasn’t ready. You basically forced it out of me.”

“Just tell me what you feel,” he proposed.

When I didn’t answer he sighed and slowly stepped closer to me.  "Y/N, I love you.“
His voice was soft and his eyes were almost pleading. "Please. You do too, just say it.”

I looked up at him, searching for words before deciding to follow his lead and to just put everything out in the open. After all, he claimed it felt good.

“Of course, I do, Harry. I’ve loved you for longer than I’ll ever admit. Do you need me to spell it out each day for you now?”

He shrugged. “Wouldn’t complain.”

“Stop being cheeky, Harry, you really caught me completely off guard here. My mind is having trouble wrapping my head around all of what you just told me.”

“Okay, I’m sorry,” Harry said and held up his hands, “I shouldn’t have pushed you like this.”

I fiddled with my fingers and hesitated before speaking up again. Having Harry confess his feelings for me had been everything I ever wanted, but now that it had happened I didn’t feel as happy as I had expected to be. Seeing Harry with Kendall had somehow changed the way I saw him. I never saw him as a celebrity, but watching him show off his model girlfriend had shifted my view and now I saw how awfully different we were. He was an attractive and rich artist while I looked terrible plain and boring by his side.

“I just don’t know what we should do now,” I confessed, “Our lives are so different, Harry. Where would I fit in?”

“Right here with me, by my side. Like you always did,” Harry assured and I didn’t fight him when his hands reached for my hips. “Y/N, I love you. I’ll make sure that whatever it is that worries you, won’t ever be a threat to us, alright? M'gonna make you happy, Y/N. Please let me.”

His warm fingers gently massaged mine and his green eyes searched for some sign of consent to what he was proposing. I knew that I wanted this. He was who I wanted for years now and I knew that my need for him would never lessen or disappear.

“Y/N,” Harry begged softly, “Trust me on this.”

I sighed, moved forward and touched my hand to his cheek. I gently scratched the skin before reaching up to comb his soft hair. My lips moved to his, hesitantly at first but eager when I felt him kiss me back. I whined when he pulled away and he chuckled.

“S'that mean you wanna be my girlfriend?”

I nodded and wrapped my arms around his neck. “Yes.”

Hope you enjoyed this! Requests and Feedback are welcome!

Hey I really love your headcannons and reactions. So I was wondering if I could get a request for how Seven and Zen would react to their MC having a existential crisis and stress breakdown that resulted in shouting and angry tears (not at them but just in general) due to over working and the fact that she tends to bottle things up until it gets to much for her to handle. (I have a tendency to do this quite a bit.)_ I understand if you don't want to answer this but thank you anyways ☺

i’m so glad you like my headcanons but oh man, you should remember to take breaks and talk to people if you are stressed :) i know it’s probably not going to convince you by a stranger saying that, but remember that my ask box is always open if you feel the need to rant to someone ❤

i wrote some short headcanons here about all the babes reacting to a stressed/overworked MC, maybe that will help slightly? it was therapeutic to write, at least  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Zen

  • As he wasn’t exactly the most hard working student in his younger days because he found paper work boring, he had just made sure to give you space and silence to finish your work as he didn’t feel like he had much to contribute with
  • He had just arrived from a late night run, and after his shower he decided to check on you to see if you were finished soon, so you could head to bed together
  • When he walked towards the office where you were working, he heard soft sobs and sped up, worried and wondering why you were crying
  • “Princess? What’s wrong?”
  • You were stressed, tired, lonely and just feeling like utter crap
  • “I have barely seen you for days, and I miss you! You’ve been so busy and I’m scared you won’t have time for me anymore! I don’t have time to finish all this work! I hate myself for putting it off for so long, I hate it! Why do I even need to finish it, when it’s all pointless in the end anyways? We are all going to die one day, why do we exist in the first place?!”
  • Suprised by your outburst, Zen hugged you tightly and let you cry in his arms
  • “I’m so sorry babe, I should’ve asked you what you wanted instead of just leaving you alone. As to answer your question why we excist… Well, why do you want to exist?”
  • When you didn’t answer, he kissed your head and rubbed your back soothingly
  • “The reasons why I want to, is to love and be loved. To prove those who doubted me wrong, to find reasons to stay, to make people happy while I’m here. But most of all, I want to take care of you and make you happy. Do we need any other reasons than that?”
  • You sniffled and muttered “I guess not…” into his chest, and he picked you up gently and carried you to bed
  • “You are obviously too exhausted to keep working, just rest for tonight, at least. Next time you’re doubting yourself or anything else, just talk to me, okay? I hate seeing my princess like this”

707

  • Seven was being tsundere again and ignoring you, and instead of confronting him you just burried yourself in work
  • Several days passed by without you seeing your boyfriend even once, and the hurt combined with your stress and lack of sleep made you think
  • Was he even your boyfriend anymore? Had he ever been? He was a genius, maybe he had just made a hologram with a nice persona to keep you company? Was he even real? Were you real?
  • Looking hopelessly down at all the work you had done, you the tears started falling. Why did you even bother? Who cared anyways?
  • Getting mad, you started scolding yourself, gradually letting go of all the fears and emotions you had built up for so long
  • What you didn’t know was that Seven was checking you on the CCTV right then, and when he heard you breaking down and practically yelling, he dropped his “not good enough for you” act and went to you
  • “MC, come here please”
  • Before you could even answer, he took your hand and led you to the roof of the bunker, where he sat down and pulled you into his lap
  • “I know I’m a shitty person and that I’m probably the last person you want to talk to, but please tell me what’s wrong”
  • The fresh air, the sight of the night sky and the feeling of his arms around you calmed you down slightly, but you didn’t know where to start so you just asked him if this was all real
  • “Is anything real, MC? Do we have proof of anything? We could all literally be video game characters in a game played by God, and we wouldn’t even know. But I think that if we knew everything, life would be way too sad for me. I think that part of the charm of being alive is that we are able to think and accept things as you see them, without it neccesarily being real. We don’t really need a reason to exist, we just need a reason to wake up every morning”
  • He looked hesitantely at you, and you could see his golden eyes glow in the moonlight
  • “You probably won’t believe me and that’s fine, just please don’t laugh or hate me… I kind of think that you’re my reason”
  • You felt a smile grow as you played with his fingers, still intertwined with yours
  • “If you want my honest opinion thought, I think you should just take every thing as they come, and accept them as real if you feel like they are. YOLO, isn’t that what the kids say these days?”
  • He smiled softly and nudged your shoulder, making you laugh
  • “I guess it is. Are you really living by that?”
  • Shrugging, he leaned in and kissed you
  • “I think I will from now on”

Request: ‘Can you do a Jughead x Reader request where the reader is always flirting with Jug and everyone but him notices it. And then towards the end he asks them if they were flirting with him and they say something like “well it’s about damn time you noticed.” I love you xxx’ (Thanks for the request girly, it’s probably not 100% what you had in mind but I hope you like it xx)

Pairing: Jughead x Reader

Warnings: None, just some fluff to brighten your day x

Word Count: 2263

For someone so smart you’d like to think Jughead Jones would be able to pick up on the basic human interaction of flirting, for some reason it just didn’t seem to register with him.

Y/N had been trying for months now to no avail. It all started the day she realised she had deeper feelings for the dark haired boy, rather than just a platonic friendship. She could recall the exact moment with spectacular clarity.

It was before the Twilight drive-ins closed, he had asked her (as well as the rest of the gang) to come down and watch Alfred Hitchcock’s Psycho. She remembered him calling it a ‘cinematic masterpiece’ and how we would all be missing out on ‘one of the greatest films of our time’ if we didn’t attend. She remembered the way his eyes got excited when he talked about it, they lit up the same way when he would find a new piece of information for his novel or when she would tell him how proud she was to be friends with such a talented writer.

It was when they were all sitting in the back of the Kevin Kellers truck; she was seated next to Jughead who was staring intently at the screen literally mouthing every word that came out of the characters mouths. She remembered looking up at his face, which was illuminated by the white light of the screen, that seeing him so happy made her feel things that she hadn’t quite registered before, it was in that moment she had first realized her true feelings of affection for Jughead Jones, and it had plagued her every since.

Fast forward a couple of months and Y/N had tried her very best to flirt with him, to try and show her interest. She would find any excuse to talk to him, she was so interested in anything he had to say, and her subtle laser focus would find him straight away in any room.

And despite her best efforts she always got flustered around him, especially when he would occasionally tuck the free falling pieces of hair behind her ear when she didn’t notice (this was something he had always done, but she was only just starting to overanalyze it now).

The unfortunate thing was, however, that he never seemed to reciprocate it or even notice that she was ‘flirting’, he was always so casual with every interaction they had. While her heart rate would be going a million miles per hour his would seemingly be steady and calm. It was getting to the point where she was ready to give up, and where she was starting to accept that a friendship would be all she would get.

That was until the day Veronica Lodge, a very good friend of Y/N’s, insisted on having a ‘girl talk’ session after school on a Friday. The two girls sat in a red cushioned booth in the warm homey atmosphere of Pop’s Choc-lit-shoppe, a popular hangout for the teens of Riverdale.

“Look Y/N, I’ve been watching your attempts at flirting with Holden Caulfield for a while now and I’m just going to be straight with you” the Raven-haired girl started. “Jughead is smart yes, nobody is denying his genius with the written word, however girl, you really need to just ask the boy out, I can tell what your intentions with him are but unfortunately sometimes boys just need it given to them plain and simple”.

Y/N knew deep down that Veronica was right, she was just way too nervous to be so bold as to ask him out. “Ronnie, how the hell do I ask him out though, I mean what if he says no and I loose him completely” Y/N replied now fiddling with the straw of her strawberry milkshake nervously.

Veronica gave the Y/H/C haired girl a soft smile, “I’ve said this to Betty and now I’ll say the same to you” she cleared her throat “Slay your dragons Y/N Y/L/N, don’t live your life with what if’s, you’ll never be happy until you know for sure”.

Can I request a short fanfic of the moment where Saeran breaks into the apartment during 707's route, but for this request, 707 is just a really good friend? And when saeran breaks in, they find MC in an animal onesie and she doesn't refuse the offer for paradise, but instead stalls them by offering them food until 707 gets there (aka is just really nice to Saeran/not freaked out or scared). And then when Saeran leaves, he kinda starts to crush on MC, and you can go from there!

((Sorry, I kind of kept going and now it’s over 2k words now. Also Saeran may be a little OOC here but he’s cute!))

“The Special security system will be acti-acti-activa….”

MC looked up from her phone to look where the sound was coming from. She stood up from the bed and went over to the sound, but it suddenly sputtered out. After that, she couldn’t figure out where it came from, so she shrugged and flopped back down on the bed. Suddenly, there was a loud shattering of glass, and MC whipped her head towards the window. Glass was shattered everywhere, and MC was stunned.

How the heck? I’m on the 14th floor!” MC thought to herself

“Gosh…I didn’t plan on making a sound, but I suppose I failed on that.” A smooth voice muttered from the direction of the window

MC, not having anything to really defend herself with, picked up her pillow, ready to smack the heck out of the intruder with it, but before she could get off the bed, the young male’s voice shouted for her to stop.

“Hey miss, just stay there. You’ll hurt your feet if you step on glass. I’m climbing over the window.”

MC suddenly saw a lanky boy wearing black skinny jeans, a red tank top with a black leather jacket on top with the left shoulder exposing an eye tattoo climbing in through the broken window. As he came in, MC saw that he wore a black face mask that covered the bottom half of his face, and had white and pink hair. He walked over to her and softly smiled with his eyes.

“Hello. You remember who I am?”

“I’m assuming that you’re the hacker since you didn’t come through the front door.” MC said in a monotone, yet irritated tone

“Smart girl. You might be able to understand me then.”

“Excuse you?” MC asked irked. “You saying you thought I was stupid?”

The boy ignored her and looked around the room absentmindedly.

“Wow, it feels so strange to see it like this…”

“What the heck are you talking about? Who are you and how did you find me?” MC shouted, raising the pillow above her head in a threatening manner

The boy turned to MC and smiled a somewhat creepy smile, and advanced so he was no more than one pace away from the terrified girl. His eyes showed no sign of harming her, in fact, they were rather kind, and MC found them rather attractive. She shook it off

“MC, Do you know that I’m the one who first talked to you about the missing phone? I left that strange message a couple days ago…And I’m the one who sent that email.”

“Wait, how do you know my name? Also, you’re the one who sent that email about Mint Eye?”

“I led you here, I know all about you. Yes, It’s your invitation to paradise MC.”

“Paradise?” MC asked, slightly intrigued.

“Yes MC, our Paradise, where everyone is happy. Magenta of hopes and dreams. I’ve come to take you there…I will explain everything once we get to magenta” The boy said, extending his hand to her

“That sounds great, but um, I’m in an animal onesie and I’m not changing in front of a guy who’s name I don’t even know.” MC replied, just staring at his hand

The boy stared at her, and after a moment, came to the realization that MC was in fact in Panda footie PJs, and was still holding a pillow over his head. A slight blush came to his face in embarrassment for not noticing. He retracted his hand and coughed uncomfortably.

“So, you going to tell me your name or no? I mean, if you’re going to take me somewhere, I should at least know their name.”

“S-Saeran.” He answered quickly, refusing to look at her.

“Saeran, huh? So, you want some snacks while I get dressed into something a bit more appropriate? Oh, don’t worry, I’ll change in the bathroom.”

“Food sounds nice…” Saeran answered awkwardly.

Saeran was internally freaking out because THIS was not part of the plan. Besides, didn’t this girl realize that he just crashed through a window….on the 14th fricking level? And here he was, introducing himself while she got food for him. He looked over to the shattered window and felt a pang of guilt. She probably didn’t have the money to pay for it to be repaired, and he could have just opened it without breaking it…

“H-hey, um , miss? Do you have a broom or something. I don’t want you to get hurt with the glass. Since I broke it, I figured that I should, well, clean it up”

MC looked over her shoulder as she made sandwiches. He honestly looked guilty, and so she brought him a broom and a dustpan to him, and he began to sweep up the glass into the pan carefully. She couldn’t believe that this was the same person who came in through her window and tried to whisk her away in her panda pjs.

She put the plate next to him and grabbed an outfit to change into. He muttered something that sounded like ‘thanks’. She then smiled, shaking her head as she wandered into the bathroom to change. She quickly got changed and headed back out to see the boy had taken off his face mask and was now munching on the last sandwich.

“That good huh?” MC asked jokingly

“Actually, yeah. I don’t really like bread, but this actually pretty good.” He replied, staring at the sandwich as if it would tell him why it tasted so good.

“It’s Hawaiian bread. It’s sweeter than most bread. I’m glad you like it. So Saeran, right?”

Saeran just kind of nodded in response.

So…do you wanna play video games or something? I bought a DS awhile back and found another one in a thrift shop for cheap. It came with these games…oh there’s two copies of Kirby, you wanna play?”

“Uh…What’s a Kirby?”Saeran asked, cocking an eyebrow

MC smiled and gave him a DS. He just kind of stared at it and MC realized that he had no clue what to do with it. She took the DS back and in and started a new game for Saeran, and he just stared at MC setting it up, then snapping out of his trance as she handed it to him. She taught him the basic controls, and soon, he was running and sucking up all the enemies. They then hooked up and played two player. She thought it was rather funny how he would scrunch his eyebrows together while he was focusing.

“Hey…um. I’m kind of hungry again…” Saeran admitted, not looking up from the game, hinting at the fact that he wanted MC to get more food.

“Me too. I’ll go grab us some snacks!” MC laughed and went to the kitchen to get snacks for the two of them

She found it rather funny that this boy was now playing Kirby with her, when just minutes ago he was going to kidnap her and take her to some “Mint Eye” Maybe going with him wouldn’t be too bad. He seemed sweet enough, and honestly, he was really cute. He reminded MC of her best friend Seven for some reason, but she couldn’t figure out why. She snapped out of her thoughts and got some chips for the two of them to share

“DAMMIT KIRBY! YOU STUPID PINK BALLOON THING! HOW DARE YOU DIE TO A WALKING LOAF OF BREAD!!!” Saeran shouted at the DS, growling as he was sent to the beginning of the level…again. He had gotten bored of waiting for MC and had tried to beat the level alone and, well…it wasn’t working very well. MC couldn’t help but laugh at how innocent he looked as he cussed out the happy pink character

“Saeran! I got the snacks!” MC cheerfully said as she put down the snacks and took back her DS.

After about half an hour later, Saeran excuses himself to go to the restroom, and MC resumes playing on the DS alone. Suddenly, there’s a bang on the door, and she hears Seven’s voice shouting from the outside. As she gets up to answer it, Saeran, with his face mask back in place, comes out and stops her. The door is suddenly thrown open, and Saeran grabs MC to keep the door from smacking her in the face.

“MC, I’m here! I’ll turn the special security system back on, gimme a sec.” Seven says, taking his backpack off and preparing to unzip it.

Saeran then walks up to Seven, grabs him by the shoulders, spins him back towards the door, and starts pushing him out the door. Seven is so shocked by the fact that there’s another person here and by the fact that MC isn’t freaking out that he just kind of lets the person push him out. MC begins laughing hysterically as Saeran pushes the confused hacker out the door, kicks him in the back of the knees, and slams the door on him. He then locks the bolt and tells Seven to get lost. At this point, Seven has snapped out of his shock, and is frantically trying to unlock the door to no avail.

“Who the hell are you, and how the hell did you get in?” Seven shouts through the door.

Saeran ignores him, and returns to MC, who at this point is rolling on the ground laughing her head off. She couldn’t help it. Seven’s confused face and Saeran just pushing them out so easily was hilarious to her for some reason. Saeran cracked a smile under his mask, and almost started laughing himself. I mean, he had expected to get revenge on his brother, but not like that!

“Well Princess, I suppose I’ll have to leave for now.” Saeran told her, trying to hold back his laughter.

MC immediately stopped laughing and begged Saeran to stay. MC suddenly realized that it was kind of weird because he was originally here to kidnap her.

“Wait, is he still going to kidnap me? I mean, he is pretty cute, and paradise sounded a lot better than being locked in an apartment…with a bomb…alone.”

Suddenly there was a thud on the door and an ‘ow’, and Saeran decided that he could come back later, now that MC had his trust. Plus, he kind of had fun with her. He would enjoy having her at Mint Eye, but with his stupid brother trying to kick in the door, getting MC out now would be difficult.

“Wait!” MC cried out, getting Saeran’s attention as he walked to the apartment door, “If you’re going to leave, take this.”

MC held out the DS that he had been playing with, and also a charger. Saeran paused for a minute before taking the DS and charger and slipping it into a back pocket. He didn’t know why, but it was the first time he had ever received something, and it felt rather nice. He heard another thump at the door and sighed. He should get going before Luciel actually knocked in the door and she had to pay for that too. For some reason, he felt a pang of guilt, and looking back at her, he kind of felt bad leaving such a cute girl in an apartment alone with a bomb that was unstable. He shook it off though, and opened the door and watched his brother keep running and fall onto his face. He pulled down his mask and gave MC a quick kiss on the cheek and then ran out the door.

MC stood there and touched where Saeran had kissed her gently. She hoped she’d see him again. She really enjoyed the company, and honestly, getting out of the apartment sounded like a good idea. For crying out loud, Seven was going to set the bomb up…again. She sighed as Seven got up and went out into the hall to get his backpack.

Meanwhile, Saeran was scolding himself for kissing her. He didn’t know why he did that. He thought about it, and he supposed that she was pretty cute, and she was really nice to him. He remembered the gift that she gave him and promised that he would definitely bring her to paradise. She deserved to be happy….and maybe Savior would let him keep her. It was worth asking. With that, he ran down the stairs, excited to return to Mint Eye with the good news.

Online // p.p.

He didn’t get it. How some girl from San Francisco that he met just a few months ago can cause his heart to race and a smile become a permanent resident on his face. He hasn’t even met her in real life and somehow she’s taken over his mind.

They met on Instagram in October, Peter posting a picture of him and Tony Stark (to make it look like a legit internship) and somehow she found it and liked it. A notification that she was now following him came a few seconds after, half a smile on Peter’s face as he looks through her own page. One of the first pictures he comes across was her in Times Square with the caption Manhattan is calling me.

Before he really realizes what he’s doing, he’s messaging her.

Queens is much better, there’s more to NY than just Times Square.

He follows her back, not really expecting much of a response. Half an hour later his phone dings, a notification that he has a new message.

You’ll have to show me around sometime.

And the rest is history.

The two talk everyday, quickly switching from just private messaging to phone numbers after just a few short days.

“I’ve never felt this strongly for anyone in my entire life,” Peter tells Ned a few weeks after they started talking, “like, ever.”

Flash teases him of course, claiming that this girl isn’t who she says she is and that even if she is, she’s only using Peter to get to Stark.

Peter always talks to her after these instances, sneaking off into the bathroom to call her. Just hearing her voice, hearing her tell him that she cares about him and that nothing Flash says is true helps him make it through the rest of the day.

One day it gets worse, Flash literally following him onto the subway to take him home and incessantly trying to tear him down. Peter all but runs home, bounding up the stairs to his apartment and shutting himself in his room.

It’s bad today, can we Skype when you get home from school?

Give me two minutes.

Peter opens his computer, loading the Skype page. He finds himself looking through her Instagram, just pictures of her making him smile. He hears his computer chime, and accepts the incoming call from her.

“Parker Peter!” She exclaims, teasing him with the name.

“Hey Y/N,” he says, smiling, “how’re you doing? Are you at home?”

“I’m good, I’m good,” she nods, “we had a half day today, our spring break starts tomorrow.”

Peter nods, picking at his thumb nail.

“Peter?” Y/N questions, furrowing her eyebrows. “Talk to me, tell me what’s going on.”

“It’s just…it’s Flash, you know,” Peter shrugs, “he followed me home and just…spent the entire time talking about you and how about that there had to be something wrong with you because you were friends with me…he just wouldn’t shut up. It was horrible.”

The girl wants nothing more than to reach out and comfort him, the only thing stopping her is a computer screen and about three thousand miles.

“Peter you know nothing he says is true,” she replies, “he’s just trying to get a rise out of you, you can’t let him.”

“I know,” Peter replies, “it just bothers me, talking to you helps though.”

Y/N smiles, a blush spreading across her cheeks that she hopes he can’t see.

“Well I’m glad I could help,” she says, “now tell me about your day, besides the Flash part.”

And he does, he tells her about every single thing that happened to him over the course of eleven hours. He can’t help himself, talking to her is so easy and natural he hardly registers that he’s been talking for two hours.

“Sorry, I didn’t mean to talk your ear off,” he blushes, “what are you doing for spring break?”

“I dunno, probably just gonna surf a little bit, maybe head up to Anaheim with some friends and go to Disney,” she shrugs, “not really sure.”

Peter bites on his tongue, holding himself back from blurting out you should come up here and visit, because they’ve talked out visiting, they’ve talked about how insane it is because they’re juniors in high school and they’re three thousand miles apart and neither of them able to afford that trip.

But god does he want to see her in person, to hug her, to just be with her in the same time zone.

He hears the front door open and close, signaling that May is home from work.

“I gotta go,” he says reluctantly, “May just got home. I’ll text you later, okay?”

“Okay,” she smiles, “love you Pete.”

“Love you too.”

Almost as soon as the call ends May opens the door to his room, a hint of a smile on her face.

“Talking to that girl again?” She teases.

That girl is named Y/N,” he rolls his eyes, “but yes, I was talking to her.”

“"I never thought you’d fall from someone three thousand miles away,” May says.

“What?” Peter furrows his eyebrows. “I don’t know what you’re talking about, we’re just friends.”

“Really?” May leans against the door frame. “Thought I heard some ‘love yous’ in the end of the conversation.”

“It’s just what friends say,” Peter shrugs, “I hear girls do it all the time, it’s nothing.”

May quirks an eyebrow, shrugging.

“Sure,” she says, “I’m going to try and make something for dinner, if not we’ll go out again.”

The end of the school week can’t come fast enough, Peter swears that time is going backwards while he sits in math class on Friday, sneaking glances at his phone as he texts Y/N under the table.

I gotta go Pete, I promised Sarah I’d take her to however many movies she wants to see to help get her mind off of her break up.

Peter smiles.

Okay, I’ll talk to you later. Love you.

Love you too.

Finally the last bell rings, Peter practically sprinting all the way back to his apartment.

“Hey Aunt May!” He calls as he walks in the door, eyes landing on the woman standing in the kitchen.

“Hey Peter,” she says, setting down her coffee mug, “I’ve got the night shift tonight, but before I go we have a guest coming over for dinner tonight so I need you to be here for it, okay?”

“Aunt May I’ve got…” Peter stumbles, “I’ve got a project I need to work on with Ned.”

“I’m sure Ned can get it started,” May replies, “you are going to be here, end of discussion.”

Three hours later Peter hears a knock on the front door of his apartment.

“Peter!” May calls from the kitchen. “Can you get the door? I’m setting the table!”

Peter huffs, rolling off his bed and dragging his feet towards the front door. He pulls his phone out of his pocket, heart dropping slightly when there are no new messages from Y/N.

He opens the door as he puts his phone back in his pocket, not looking at whoever is standing there.

He finally looks up, his heat dropping down to his feet as he stares at the girl in front of him.

“Hey Peter,” she smiles, one hand on her suitcase handle and the other in her pocket.

“I’m dreaming,” he stutters out, “this is a dream.”

“I damn well hope not,” she laughs, “this dream cost me a pretty penny.”

“Oh my god you’re here,” he breaths, pulling her into a hug in the middle of the doorway, “oh my god.”

She hugs him back, a smile on both of their faces.

“What are you doing here?” He asks as they pull away, Peter dragging her suitcase into the living room and closing the door after she comes in.

“Spring break,” she shrugs, “got tired of being super warm all the time, decided to come give Queens a try like you suggested.”

Peter doesn’t know how to respond, so instead he pulls her into another hug, closing his eyes as he buries his face in her neck.

“C'mon you two,” May breaks up the teenagers, “time for dinner.”

“You knew about this?” Peter asks his aunt, surprised at her ability to keep secret.

“Of course I knew about this,” May replies, “I helped set everything up with her parents, and decided that she’s stay here and not in some shady hotel.”

“You guys really pulled one over me,” Peter shakes his head, sitting down at the table next to Y/N, “all those plans you said you had?”

“A cover story,” she smiles, “couldn’t exactly tell you I was gonna surprise you.”

“God I can’t believe you’re actually here,” he smiles, “is that why you weren’t texting me?”

“I was on a five hour flight,” she replies, “so I told you I was at the movies so you wouldn’t get freaked out about me not answering.”

“You’re too smart for your own good,” Peter shakes his head.

“That’s why you love me,” she says.

Peter smiles, looking down at his plate as a blush spreads across his cheeks.

Three hours later the teens are in Peter’s room, knees touching as they sit crisscrossed on his bed.

“God I can’t believe you’re actually here,” he says for what has to be the millionth time, “like I’m actually looking at you and it’s not through a computer screen.”

She smiles, Peter can’t freaking get over that damn smile, and she laughs lightly.

“So you’ve said,” she bites down on her bottom lip, “Peter there’s um…there’s something I gotta tell you.”

“You know you can tell me anything.”

“I uh,” she breaths out heavily, “obviously, I came here to see you and to meet you in person but I also…I also came here because I think I’m falling in love with you, and I needed to see you in person to figure out if I am or not…and I am.”

Peter blinks once, twice, and after what seems like hours a smile breaks out onto his face.

“God this has to be a dream now,” he says, “there’s no way you’re serious. You’re too perfect to be with someone like me.”

“I literally just said that I think I’m in love with you,” she shakes her head, “and you go straight for the self depreciation, god.”

Peter blushes, looking down at his lap.

“Peter,” she says, pulling his gaze up to meet hers, “kiss me.”

He does, and it’s everything he could ever want and more. Her skin soft under his finger tips as his chapped lips press onto her smooth ones.

The next thing he knows he’s laying on his back and pulling her up to straddle his waist, her jeans sliding over his.

Peter pulls away only to press his lips to her neck, relishing the gasp that falls from her mouth. Her hips roll forward involuntarily, Peter unable to hold back the groan that spills from his lips. Her fingers hook on his belt loops, practically pulling his hips flush against her own as his hands hold her waist under her shirt.

He rolls his own hips this time, ever so slightly, but enough to pull her back into reality.

“Peter,” she says hoarsely, breathlessly; a sound that he could get used to real fast, “Peter we can’t…not yet.”

He nods, pulling a few inches away from her. She’s right, he knows she’s right, he agrees with her.

“Yeah, yeah of course,” he replies, “just…just lay with me, okay?”

She nods, moving off of his lap and settling herself into his side, their hands intertwined and a smile on both of their faces.

“If it wasn’t obvious,” he whispers, “I think I’m in love with you too.”

Her smile widens and she presses a kiss to his knuckles.

“I’m really glad you decided to message me,” she says quietly, “and I’m damn glad I stumbled across your picture and had the guts to like it.”

“This is a redundant question,” Peter says, “but will you be my girlfriend?”

“You don’t care about the distance?” She asks.

“Distance is the last thing I care about,” Peter replies, “yeah it’s gonna suck, but we’re gonna get through it. We’ll text and call just like we did before, and I’ll get job so I can get some money and come out and see you,” he presses a few gentle kisses to her neck, “and then we’ll be adults and we can be together for more than just a week or two at a time.”

“Promise?”

“I promise.”

When May gets home from work early the next morning, she’s greeted with the two teenagers cuddled together in Peter’s bed. She smiles, whispers a small ’finally’ under her breath, and closes his bedroom door.

“Have you heard from Y/N today? She said she was sick but she usually calls in,” Sherlock questioned, your absence catching his attention as they began to walk down your street. While he looked lost in his own thoughts, John quickly checked his phone to find still no messages or calls from you.

“No, but if she says she’s sick we should just leave her be. Sherlock, Sherlock no-” John called, trying to reach out and grab Sherlock as he began to turn and head straight to your familiar red door. John’s fingers wrapped around thin air as he stood for a moment, watching Sherlock as he sighed before he looked both ways and crossed the street behind the curly haired man.

“Too late,” Sherlock called back as he ran up to your door, quickly finding your ‘hidden’ key yet he knocked once before. “Y/N?”

“She’s probably asleep, we should just- And now you’re breaking in. Y/N isn’t going to be okay with this,” John insisted as Sherlock opened the door and stepped into your cool apartment.

“I don’t care, I’m just concerned,” Sherlock brushed off John’s concern as the smaller man followed him into the apartment, closing the door behind him.

“Yeah I’m sure she’ll believe that,” John mumbled, looking into the empty living room before watching Sherlock begin to walk down the hallway to your kitchen and bedroom.

“Y/N? Y/N?” Sherlock called as he opened your bedroom door. John watched as he froze in the doorway, quickly moving to join his friend.

“OH MY GOD! GET OUT SHERLOCK!” you screamed trying to cover yourself with your blankets,“Sherlock please!”

“Is- Is that Moriarty?” John asked, peeking his head in the doorframe beside a speechless Sherlock as your bedmate popped up from the covers.

“Hi,” he greeted, a smug grin on his face as he watched John and Sherlock looking at the two of you with your messy hair and the scattered clothes all over the room.

“Y/N!”

“Good God will all of you shut the fuck up! Yes okay, Moriarty and I have been seeing each other,” you shouted, feeling a headache begin to form as you readjusted the blankets, trying desperately to make sure Sherlock and John didn’t see anything indecent.

“Really! Y/N! I thought- My God,” John stuttered, still reeling though Sherlock stood beside him cold as ice and quiet as he glared down Moriarty.

“You know, people keep saying that today. Is it Sunday? Because I’ve never heard God said this much on a weekday.”

“Shut the fuck up Moriarty!”

The first thing that registered in your brain when you woke up the next morning was that you felt extremely warm. Also, your pillow seemed to be rising up and down ever so slightly. You grumbled irritably, nuzzling into it in an attempt to get back to sleep. A low resounding chuckle jolted you into wakefulness and your eyes shot open, only to find Jason looking down at you, his expression fond. “Goodmorning to you too,” he greeted, tone bemused. You realised belatedly that you were laying across his chest, apparently doing a very good impression of an octopus judging by the way your limbs were entangled with his. You gasped, feeling your face heat up as you attempted to scramble away.
“Jay I’m so sorry! I didn’t” “Shhhhh,” he hushed you, strong arms wrapping around your waist in a vice like grip to keep you from wriggling away. “Calm down doll, it’s alright,” His tone was soothing; you were sure you were red as a tomato right now. Nonetheless you halted your frantic attempt to escape, instead choosing to hide your face against his chest with an embarrassed groan. Jason removed a hand from your waist to stroke your hair; you could hear the amusement in his voice when he spoke. “See? No harm done.” “I’m sorry I sleep like an octopus,” Your voice was muffled against his skin, but you knew he had heard you when he laughed, the sound vibrating in his chest beneath your ear. For some reason hearing it made you feel all warm and tingly. You groaned internally at your own mushiness. “Naw, you’re the best blanket I’ve ever had. I usually toss them off when I sleep. This morning I got to wake up warm for once,” You knew he was only trying to make you feel better, but it still worked. Unconsciously you started to relax against him. Then a thought struck horror into you. “Wait.. how long have you been awake?” Jason paused, and you already had your answer. “Oh god,” You moaned, defeated. He’d been awake before you and seen you attempting to entwine around him in your sleep. “Don’t be embarrassed doll, it’s adorable,” You just shook your head, deciding to let the subject drop before you died of mortification. “What time is it?” You turned your head to try and catch a glimpse of the alarm clock on your bedside table. “Eight thirty. Do you have to be somewhere?” His hold on you tightened fractionally, and you smiled at the reluctance in his words. “Yeah, I have class at ten,” You apologised, then paused. “You want to stay for breakfast?” Hope was like a living thing in your chest. You struggled to ignore it, glancing up at Jason. He grinned. “Doll I’d love to,”

You went to grab a quick shower, leaving Jason to sprawl across your bed and snuggle into your covers. The sight of him like that made it extremely difficult not to just climb back into bed and cuddle up with him, but somehow you managed not to. Once you were in the shower you took a moment to freak out, hopping up and down under the spray of hot water and hugging yourself tightly. The mix of excitement and nervousness was making you feel wired, and you had to take a few deep breaths to calm down, resting your head against the cold tile. You had never felt this way about anyone before Jason, had never allowed yourself to, and not just because he was your soulmate. It wasn’t uncommon for people to date others who weren’t their soulmate, you never knew when you would meet them so it wasn’t always practical to wait around. Your father hadn’t been your mum’s soulmate, they had been fifteen when they started dating in middle school. No, you had just been scared. Honestly you still were. Scared that Jason would leave, and even more scared of what would happen if he didn’t. His potential to change your future was almost terrifying. Your plan in life had never been very detailed, but a couple of things had always been concrete. You would go to college, graduate, get a stable job and make things better for both yourself and your mum. Now everything seemed uncertain. You still wanted to do all those things, but you didn’t know what impact Jason would have on that yet. And you knew already that you would give up so much to keep him with you.

When you had finished with your shower and gotten dressed, you checked that Jason’s clothes were dry and directed him towards the bathroom so he could clean up. Then you headed downstairs to start on breakfast. Your mum had already left for work so you didn’t have to worry about explaining why Jason was here. The night you had come downstairs wearing his jacket you had told her that it belonged to one of your friends. At the time you weren’t sure where things were going between the two of you and you didn’t want to get your mum’s hopes up. You knew she hoped you would meet your soulmate sooner rather than later, and you didn’t want to tell her that you weren’t sold on the concept. Now though… You figured you should probably tell her soon.
You mused over how you would go about breaking the news while you set about preparing breakfast, putting bacon and eggs to fry on the stove while you set the table. Jason emerged just as you were plating up the food, fresh and damp from the shower. He leaned in the doorway grinning at you, jacket drapped over his shoulder. You grinned back, unable to help yourself. His smile was infectious. “Smells delicious,” He commented, coming up behind you to wrap his arms around your waist, lowering his head to nuzzle into your neck. He sniffed, growling playfully. You let out a surprised laugh when you got the joke, swatting at him with the teatowel you were using to handle the hot plates. He chuckled, releasing you, and went to sit in the chair you shooed him towards. “Sorry, I didn’t know how you like your eggs,” you apologised, setting his plate down and taking your own seat across from him. He shook his head. “It looks great, thank you,” He hummed appreciatively when he took a bite and you smiled, tucking into your own food. “So what classes do you have today doll?” You chatted casually about your plan for the day, Jason interjecting occasionally to ask questions. He always seemed genuinely interested in what you had to say, and you found that you loved that about him. “How about you? Any plans?” You asked curiously. He grimaced. “Just helping Bruce out with some W.E work probably,” You had been genuinely confounded when Jason told you that he was the supposedly dead son of the billionare Bruce Wayne. All he had told you about the issue was that it had been a kidnapping gone wrong, and Bruce had genuinely thought him dead. He had decided afterwards that announcing that Jason was alive after so long would cause an uproar; it wasn’t the kind of story Wayne Enterprises would want to be associated with. You hadn’t questioned it any further than that. You could sense that it was a sore subject, and you knew that Jason would tell you more when he was ready.

Jason stayed to help you wash up after breakfast, a little voice in the back of your mind noting with satisfaction how well you worked together. Once you were finished you hugged him goodbye at the door, promising to text him later once you got home. You had admitted to him a while back that you often waited up in case he decided to come over, and after that he had taken your phone number, promising to message you in the evening if he was going to drop by. He had seemed pleased by your admission, jokingly adding a heart next to his name in your phone.
Once he was gone you sat at the counter with your school work, deciding to review your notes before class. Not even five minutes later your mum popped her head around the kitchen door, nearly giving you a heart attack. “Ohmygod mum! I thought you had work this morning!” You gasped, cluthing a hand to your chest. “I thought you were an intruder!” You accused, and then realised that if she was home it meant that she knew Jason had been here. You were so screwed. Your mum just smiled knowingly. “I switched shifts. Is that boy gone? I must say he’s very handsome,” She breezed in, filling the kettle to make herself a cup of tea. “Of course I knew when I saw the jacket that he probably would be, he has very good taste,” She turned to give you a wink and you groaned, letting your head fall into your hands. Of course she knew. When had you ever been able to hide anything from her?

Your mum called your name and you looked up, finding her leaning against the counter looking at you, arms folded. “Is he your soulmate?” She wasn’t angry that you’d had a boy over and hadn’t told her, you knew that she trusted you. Still, you found that you were surprised nonetheless. You had been expecting more of a reaction. Instead she seemed happy, you suspected maybe even excited. You nodded hesitantly. “Yeah.. His name’s Jason,” She smiled. “Jason,” She repeated, mulling the name over. “How did you meet him?” You groaned internally. You knew this wouldn’t be the only time you would be asked this question, and quite frankly the answer was kind of embarrassing. “I kind of ran into him in town.. literally. He offered to help me up and I uh, I ran away,” you admitted, and she laughed, shaking her head fondly. “Of course you did. At least he had the sense to follow you. God knows I’ve been waiting for this long enough.” You hesitated. “Would you, um. Would you like to meet him?” You weren’t quite sure why you were asking. You knew you should probably clear it with Jason first, but you knew he was secretly dying to bring you home himself. You didn’t think he would mind. “I would love to. Why don’t you invite him over for dinner tonight?” “Okay,” you mumbled, and your mum smiled warmly, coming over to hug you tightly. You squeezed back, glad to finally be able to talk about Jason to her.
Once you were outside and on your way to class you decided to send Jason a text. ‘Mum found out about you. She wants to know if you’d like to come for dinner tonight? x’ You hesitated a little before adding the x, feeling childish, before deciding to hell with it and sending the message. Jason texted back almost immediately. ‘What time? I’ll be there. (: x’ You smiled to yourself, nervous excitement taking root in the pit of your stomach. It was going to be a long day.

SMUT WARNING**

JOE’S POV

I haven’t seen Y/N in over a week. Finals had started and she had spent all of her extra time in the university library with her head in her books. We had made plans to hang out in hopes to take some of the pressure off of her but every night without fail, I’d receive a text late at night that she wasn’t going to make it.

Today was Y/N’s first final and I had managed to convince her to come over afterwards. She protested at first, claiming that she needed to prepare for her other finals, but she soon realized that she deserved a break from studying.

I was sitting in my office editing a video when I heard my front door open and slam shut, the sound of loud footsteps making their way into my flat.

“Y/N?” I asked coming out of my office.

I moved further into my flat only to find my girlfriend sprawled over my couch, a pillow hugged tightly against her chest.

“Hey love, how’d your first final go?” I said patting her leg that was flung over the arm of the couch. The smile I had etched across my face for finally seeing my girlfriend in weeks faded when I saw her tear stained cheeks. “Hey, what’s wrong?”

“I failed, I’m pretty sure I just bombed that test. I completely drew a blank on half of the questions and I now I’m going to have to retake the class…” she trailed off with a sniffled.

“Y/N you didn’t fail. You knew all the materials, forwards and backwards.”

“I failed Joe, like I’m pretty positive.” She said as she moved to sit up, allowing room for Joe to sit down next to her and pull her close. “And now I’m probably going to fail tomorrow’s finals because this is in my head and I should just drop out now.”

“Love you’re not dropping out, you’re already so far-“

“I might not have a choice Joe if I fail the rest of these tests.” Y/N said standing up and running her fingers through her hair.

“You’re stressed Y/N. You’ve been studying for months without a break. This is why I’ve wanted you to come over last week and today. You need to relax love. You’re second guessing your intelligence, promise me. Let me help you relax and get you ready for tomorrow.” I said pulling her onto my lap and kissing the side of her neck.

“No Joe, I need to go home and study.” She said attempting to push me away but failed as my grip around her waist tightened.

“Y/N you are taking a break tonight.” I whispered in her ear.

“Joe..” She said quietly as she let her head roll back as I began kissing her neck again.

“Come on love,” I said picking her up and carrying her to my guest room, laying her on the bed. “Let me make your bad day better” I said with a smirk as I kissed her lips.

I ran my hand down the side of her body, my finger tips stopping at the end of her t-shirt. I push my hand under her shirt and caress the smooth skin of her tummy. Pulling away from the kiss, I sit her up to pull the shirt over her head. My lips find their way to their favorite spot on her neck as I fumble with the clasp on her bra.

I feel her own hands on the skin as she tugs on my shirt. I help her pull it over my head before reattaching my lips to her soft skin, as I move my way down her body. I stop to work at the button of her jeans, sliding them and her underwear down her legs and tossing them to the side next to the rest of her clothes.

I kiss down the inside of her legs causing goosebumps to form as her back arches; anticipating my next move. I ran a fingers up and down her folds before continuing the actions with my tongue.

Y/N let out a soft moan as I began to suck harshly on her clit. I could feel her body start to relax under my touch. All her built up stress from her exams were being release with each moan she let out.

I pushed a finger into her slowly causing a louder moan to release her lips as her grip on the bed sheets tightened.

“Shit…Joe” Y/N breathed out as her legs began to shake.

She let her back arch even more off of the bed as she let out another loud moan mixed with my name as she released all the pressure that had built up inside of her.

Pull myself away from her core and bring my lips up to hers, “Feel better?” I smile against her lip.

“Mhmm, although I might need some more of that later tonight.”

“Oh so you’re staying the night now?” I laughed.

“I suppose I deserve a proper break for the rest of the day.”

“You can always come back after tomorrows finals, I’m sure there is something more I can do to help you relive some more stress.” I smirked causing her to laugh.

“Thanks Joe.” She said wrapping her arms around my torso after I laid down beside her.

Good Girl CH 11: Morning After

“What did you do to our little Joo?” Suho yells as he busts threw the door, making me jump straight into Xiumin’s arms. He holds me to his chest and pulls the blanket over me so my naked body is hidden from the prying eyes of boys that suddenly fill the doorway. They all stand there dumbstruck at the sight.

“Stop your staring,” Xiumin snapped.

“Can’t help it,” Pervy Luhan purrs as he comes in the room and sits on the edge of the bed.

“I want to see Noona naked,” Sehun teases as he joins us on the bed.

“You guys are making me blush,” I mumble as I tuck myself into Xiumin’s chest.

“Come on,” Chen hoots playfully, “How about a little leg?”

I can’t help but laugh at his cute begging, I slide my leg out from under the covers to let them see.

“How about some back?” Xiumin teases before letting the blanket slide down my body, giving the eleven men who had made their way into the room a nice view of my bare back and Luhan a side boob view. I shiver when Sehun drags a finger down my spine, stopping he hits the blanket just about my butt.

“Sehunie,” I whine, “Stop it, you’re making my shiver.”

“I think she means tingle,” Kai purrs as he joins Sehun in touching my back, his cold hands make my visibly shiver.

I didn’t even notice Kyungsoo joining them until the boy is already pushing the younger two away and placing soft warm kisses on my shoulders. He sits down right behind me, and like Xiumin, I can feel his warmth radiating off him.

“Does that feel better?” Kyungsoo whispers in my ear.

“You’re so warm!” I say as I lean back into his embrace, finding a bare chest, something I was not expecting from the owl.

“Be carful love, you are going to show everyone to chest,” Xiumin warns. I snap back up against him.

“Since when have you been so friendly?” Kai whines as he pokes his hyung.

“You could barely look at her yesterday.” Tao adds in, wanting to join us on the bed but can’t get close with the others in the way.

“Someone didn’t cool off, I’m guessing,” Kris raises a brow at the owl boy.

Kyungsoo shrugs, “She did it to my twice yesterday, and it just hasn’t gone away.”

“Baby,” Kris cuckles his tongue at me, “You used the word too many times already.”

“You should heard her last night, it was her new favorite word,” Xiumin chuckles.

“Don’t say that!” I slap his chest playfully.

“We heard you say it plenty last night Baby,” Baekhyun smirks at me.

I blush, “It’s okay baby, it was cute, actually it was really hot,” Lay nibbles on his lip as he watches me.

“I think she should just use it all the time,” Chanyeol suggests.

“That won’t be a problem at school,” Suho scoffs but when I look at him I can tell he actually agrees with that idea.

“Fine, just when we are at home. Or if you don’t agree with it, she will call you oppa,” Luhan glares at Suho.

“You guys want me to call you daddy, all the time?” I question, though I’m not completely against the idea.

“I just love it when that that word comes from that cute little mouth of yours,” Xiumin says with a kiss on my lips.

“None of that,” Sehun whines.

“Yea, you already get too much of her attention!” Baekhyun joins in.

“Let me see her,” Luhan holds out his arms to me, and I almost go but that’s before I remember that I’m naked and Xiumin mostly is too.

“Can I get a shirt or something first?” I ask.

“You know how to ask for it baby,” Kris reminds me as he wanders over to Xiumin’s closet.

“Daddy, can I please get a shirt?” I say with a cute pout.

“Really could get used to that,” Kris kisses the top of my head as he hands me the shirt. Xiumin holds up the blanket so I can pull the shirt on, only revealing myself to him, earning a lot of boos and groans.

“Now let me hold my baby!” Luhan whines, making me laugh at his sudden cuteness. I crawl off Xiumin’s lap over to Luhan’s, who welcomes me eagerly.

“I wanna turn,” Kyungsoo surprisingly demands.

“No me!” Sehun pushes his hyung out of way.

“You little,” Kyungsoo growls as he pushes Sehun to the ground.

“None of that,” Suho snaps. “It’s time for everyone to get ready for the day.”

“Oh yea, school,” I grumble. I sigh, “At least I get to see Jihyo.”

“Are you sure you want to go to school?” Luhan asks as he strokes my cheek.

“Can’t we just skip today hyung?” Chanyeol looks to Suho with a big smile.

“No. We have a break coming up next week.”

“But hyung,” Tao whines, “We wanna hang out Joo.”

Suho rolls his eyes, “You guys have twenty minutes till I leave with her, if you are dressed and by the door you can come along and hang out in the office.”

“Twenty minutes?” Sehun, Tao, and Chanyeol yell together.

“I should probably go get ready than,” I say as I slide off Luhan’s lap to the warm wood floor.

“Is that enough time for you?” Suho asks when I reach him.

I shrug, “That’s more then enough time. But who wants to take me to my room?”

“Me!” Chen and Baekhyun say together. I smile as both boys scramble over to me and begin pulling me down the hall. I don’t really pay attention to where we are going as the boys continue to bicker about who I should like more and who is cuter. We arrive at my room in a few minutes, they flip on the light and wander in with me. I’m surprised when they throw themselves on the bed and make themselves comfortable.

I blink at them until Chen sits up and cocks his head at me, “You better hurry baby girl or you are going to be in trouble. Suho hyung doesn’t allow tardiness.” I nod before quickly going into the closet to find the row of uniforms I saw yesterday. It only takes me a minute to find one of the winter ones and quickly pull it on, along with thigh high socks and mary janes. When I am dressed I walk back out into my room and see the two boys in the same position as before. They look up at me and smile big, like very cute idiots.

“You are the cutest little thing I’ve ever seen!” Baekhyun coos at me.

“But come here,” Chen waves me over and sits me down on the ottoman in front of my bed, with my back to him. I shiver as he starts playing with my hair, just an automatic reaction I have since not many people touch my hair. “Your hair is a mess, baby girl,” Chen scolds as he fixes it.

“I don’t like dealing with it,” I grumble as Chen sends Baekhyun into the bathroom for hair ties. When he gets what he needs he use the hair ties to put my hair into two cute little buns on top of my head. He also puts in a bow head band, finishing in only a few minutes.

“Perfect,” He kisses the top of my head, “Now if you ever need help with your hair just come to Daddy, I mean me.”

I turn around and wrap my arms around his neck, pulling him close and pecking his lips softly, “Thank you Daddy.”

“Ya! I helped too!” Baekhyun whines, making me laugh. I let the stunned Chen go to give Baekhyun a kiss as well.

“Thank you too daddy Baekhyun.”

“We should go so you can grab something for breakfast before you go,” Chen suggests as he pulls me out of my room, Baekhyun is behind us with my backpack. We find the others sitting in the kitchen, Chanyeol, Kyungsoo, Tao, Kai, and Sehun are all in their uniforms, while Suho is looking fucking delightful in a suit and the others still manage to look hot in their pajamas.

“Oh my god,” Luhan coos when he sees me, “My baby looks so cute!” He rushes over, nearly spilling his coffee on Kris as he puts it on the counter.

“Daddy,” I whine as he pinches my cheeks.

“Oh Baby that is not how you get me to stop touching you,” His cute playfulness slowly fades to pervy Lulu as he moves his hands to my hips and pulls me close.

“Aw hyung you already got to hold her today, let us have a turn!” Tao comes forward, pushing all of his hyungs out of the way to latch on to me.

“Daddy panda!” I say automatically, returning Tao’s hug.

“Why the hell does she greet you like that?” Luhan snaps as he crosses his arms over his chest.

“I have no idea,” I say honestly, “It’s just some weird automatic response when I see him.”

“That’s unfair she only does that to Kyungsoo and Tao.”

“She doesn’t even do that to me,” Xiumin complains.

With an impending argument approaching I quickly change the subject, “Is there still time for me to eat breakfast?”

“Of course,” Tao answers without hesitation. “What do you want for breakfast? We have anything you could think of.”

“Nothing too big, just an apple or something.”

“That isn’t breakfast,” Suho scolds. “Don’t worry about it, I’ll have something delivered to the office.”

“It’s okay, I don’t eat much, I don’t need anything,” I try to wave the idea away but earn nothing but glares from each man.

“Another rule,” Kyungsoo pipes in, “You must eat three meals a day.”

“Agreed,” The other eleven decide.

“This is ridiculous.” I groan.

“Baby girl, are you being naughty?” Kris questions with a brow raised.

“No,” Xiumin answers for me, his eyes warning me, “She would never be bad and loose her phone privileges, would she?”

“I’ll be good and eat when we get there,” I mumble with a sigh.

“Good girl.”

Fragility and Fractures

A/N: This one takes place on Jughead’s birthday. I wrote it before episode nine aired, so forgive me for continuity errors with Ethel! Enjoy :)

Jughead Jones was at a party.

Strange sentence, yes. But when said party happens to be your very own, you tend to be there.

When Betty decided to throw this party, at Archie’s house, Jughead was adamant at first- parties, while baby showers may be, were not his scene. “It’ll be fun,” She said, wide cerulean blue eyes pleading at him, and so he agreed.

But right here, right now, all Jughead wanted to do was curl up with his laptop, or even better, Betty. That clearly wasn’t going to happen, so Jughead had excused himself from the sweaty crowd in Fred’s living room, gone to the kitchen and grabbed a solo cup of coke. Sitting on the  a kitchen  a counter, he hoped it wasn’t laced with anything.

Nonetheless, he sipped it periodically as he glanced at his phone, listening to whatever overplayed pop song that his peers currently danced to.

He checked his texts. One from his dad.

Are you coming home for dinner?

Well, no, he wasn’t, not after he realised that the Serpents dealt with drugs.

And well, he was at his very own birthday party. He typed out a quick reply.

Not today, dad.

He shoved his phone inside his pocket, catching his foot tapping the counter with the pop song’s rhythm. He immediately stopped.

“Hey,” Came a voice from behind him. Jughead jumped, despite the noise.

“Hey.” He said, realizing it was only Ethel.

“So,” She began, going around the counter in front of him, “Happy Birthday. Seventeen!”

He smiled. “Yeah, I’m finally a dancing queen.”

The reference flew over her head.

“Nevermind. What brings you to Archie’s humble abode?”

“I heard it was your party, which I really couldn’t believe, because Jughead Jones is throwing a party? I knew I had to come here for sure.”

Jughead chuckled and looked at her. “Actually, Betty’s throwing it for me. I’m not really a party person.”

Ethel deflated slightly. “So, you and Betty a thing now?”

“Yeah, she’s my girlfriend.” Jughead blushed. He was so utterly grateful that he was with Betty. Right now, he was the luckiest guy on earth.

Ethel smiled, in a way that seemed half-hearted. “Cute top she’s wearing.”

Ah, the crown one. Jughead’s very own reference. When he had first seen it, all he could do was laugh. Betty had actively searched for one online.

“She's…” A ray of sun in his usually-dark life, the paragon of beauty, the best person he’s ever had the pleasure to meet, let alone spend time with- “cute, too.”

Ethel awkwardly nodded, and pursed her lips, still caught in a half-smile.

Thirty seconds passed with an awkward silence. Jughead decided to break it, and stood up.

“I should probably-”

“Archie still has feelings for Betty.”

Her interruption took him by complete surprise.

“What?” He asked. “He still… Does?”

Ethel nodded with sympathy. “I heard Veronica tell Kevin in PE yesterday.”

“You were eavesdropping?”

“No, I just happened to pass by.”

Jughead sighed. “Why are you telling me this, Ethel?”

Ethel’s eyes widened. “I just wanted you to be prepared, you know. And if you need someone to turn to, in case stuff happens…”

It was Jughead’s turn to purse his lips. “Listen, Ethel, I know Archie well, and he wouldn’t do this. I’m dating Betty, too… and I trust her.”

“Fine, Jughead. “ Ethel said, eyes suddenly misty. “I wanted to help.”

“There’s nothing to help with, Ethel. Thanks, though.” Jughead said, annoyed, and left the kitchen.

Half an hour later, after dancing (in his case, shuffling his feet) with Betty, on her request, they both went out to the porch, and sat on the swing.

She leaned in for a kiss. “Happy Birthday, Juggie.”

“Happy, all thanks to you.” He smiled against her lips.

She pulled away. “Oh! I almost forgot. Your birthday gift.” She bent down and pulled out a package- wrapped in blue and gold, haha, from underneath the swing.

He perked an eyebrow. “You hid it under here?”

“What can I say? Betty Cooper is always prepared.”

He laughed. “And may I ask what it is?”

“No.”

“Well, can I open it?”

“Duh.”

His fingers neatly unwrapped the pretty paper- unlike Archie and his sister, who both tore at wrapping like savages. With careful movements, he separated tape and dresses- “Will you hurry up already, Juggie?”

He glanced at her, smirking. “Didn’t think you were that type of unwrapper.”

“I’m not, but just do it already.”

He gave in, being a little more rash with his movements, and put paper aside to reveal-

“A Kindle?”

“You love reading, Jug, and I know you find it difficult finding some books you really want to read, so…Here!”

Jughead’s fingers traced its smooth surface. “Betty, this must have cost you a fortune.”

He said, looking up at her. “I mean, you didn’t have to-”

“Shut up, Jughead. I did. And don’t worry about the cost-that internship over the summer helped.” She held his hand. “Do you like it?”

Jughead hugged her. “It’s the best gift I’ve ever received.”

She grinned. “That’s not all.” And pulled out an A3 sized envelope.

“Open that.” She whispered.

His fingers prised the orange packet open, and pulled out a drawing. It was Jellybean and him, sitting in his treehouse, and he knew only one person who was so talented, especially for a ten year old- Jellybean.

‘Happy Birthday’, said a small message on the bottom right corner, right next to her signature.

“It’s from Jellybean.”

Betty smiled, eyes gleaming. “Yes.”

He pulled Betty into another hug. “How did-”

“I asked her.”

“How?”

“Don’t ask so many questions, Jug.”

“Okay,” He said, softly. “Thank you.”

He leaned into their embrace even further.

They both startled when the flash of a camera disturbed them.

“Sorry, Lovebirds. We need pictures of this legendary party.” Veronica grinned.

The couple in question groaned in faux annoyance, but smiled anyway.

It was 10 pm, and the party was still going strong. The gang, which included Jughead, Betty, Archie, Veronica and Kevin, was sitting on the grass lawn behind the Andrew house- speaking of which, Fred Andrews was going to be pissed- in a circle.

Archie was super drunk, after Reggie had coerced him into multiple shots, and even though the sixteen year old was quite muscular, he still couldn’t hold his alcohol. He was just drunkenly giggling, each word slurring, and the buzzed Veronica just rolled her eyes at his shenanigans. Jughead and Betty were amused. Kevin was indifferent.

Although, Archie seemed to be a bit stony I’m attitude towards Jughead.

Truth or Dare was currently going on, and it was the birthday boy’s turn.

Jughead playing Truth or Dare. Another weird concept. This one night was the teenest of a teen he’d ever been.

“Jughead, pick one.” Veronica said. “Truth, or Dare.”

“As the name of the game suggests,” He said. He wasn’t going to spill out his life story to anyone right now, so the latter it was. “Dare.”

“Kiss anyone in this circle.” Veronica told him.

“Oh, come on.” Kevin protested. “Give ‘im something harder!”

“Nope, that’s it.” Veronica shook her head, lips curling up.

“Really? Anyone? That’s your dare?” Jughead raised an eyebrow.

“Mhmm.”

“Then I’m not going to complain,” he said, turning to Betty, asking for permission with a questioning nod, and once he received a blushing nod back, their lips connected.

Another flash.

“Will you cut it out?” Jughead said. “At least try to be discreet.”

“Never,” Veronica said, putting her phone away. “This is going on Instagram. Hashtag Bughead.”

“Bughead?” Betty asked incredulously. “Bug- head. Really?”

“It’s endearing, and unique, and ‘Jetty’ doesn’t roll right off the tongue.” Kevin said. “So Bughead it is.”

Jughead pretended not to notice the glares Archie was throwing his way, and had been since they’d sat down.

They were about to move on, but Archie interjected. “Jughead, can I speak to you?” He mumbled.

Betty and Jug looked at each other.

“…Sure, Arch.” Jughead said. “Come get a drink with me.”

The two boys stood up, Archie slightly unsteady, and with a furtive glance behind him, at his girlfriend, Jughead entered the kitchen, redhead in tow.

Jughead took a red solo cup and lifted a bottle of coke, pouring its black contents into it. “Want some?” Jughead said.

“Jughead, did you ask Betty out just to get revenge on me?”

Jughead stopped, almost spilling the fizzy drink onto the white counter. He thought his ears stopped working. “Um, what?”

“I said, did you ask Betty out to get revenge on me? For the July 4th thing?”

“Two things, Arch. One, definitely not, and two, you’re too drunk to have his conversation.” Jughead said, looking over his shoulder with disbelief.

“Are you sure, Jug? Is it because I said no to her?”

Jughead’s hands clenched into fists. “Archie, we will not have this conversation, not right now.”

“Jug, tell me, or I’ll ask her.”

“Okay, don’t, just wait till tomorrow.”

Archie ignored him and started for the door.

“Okay, Arch, stop. No, not everything revolves around you. I genuinely have feelings for Betty and I’m almost sure she returns them.” Jughead moved in front of him. “I thought we were friends. I called you my brother.” Archie slumped.

“And you are! But what, exactly, is your problem with Betty and I?”

Archie looked at him with helplessness. “I may…”

“May what?”

“Have feelings for her.” Archie finished.

Was Archie kidding Jughead right now? The redhead was dating Valerie, and Jughead was pretty sure he liked Veronica too. Hell, he’d kissed Cheryl as well. And he’d already broken Betty’s heart.

“Archie? Are you kidding me?”

“No. I genuinely want to be with her. I made a mistake that night, the worst  a mistake of my life, probably.” Archie said, leaning against the wall, hands in pockets.

Jughead took a deep breath to calm himself. He was angry, angry beyond belief, but he needed to keep his cool. Archie was drunk.

“Archie…”

“Jughead, you need to do me a favour.”

Jughead looked at him, deadpanned face. “And this favour is?”

“Break up with-”

“You think Betty’s a favour?”

“Jughead.”

“Absolutely not. I won’t break up with her because you told me too. I won’t break up with her at all, unless she ends it. Archie, no.”

“Jughead, I took you in-”

“I’ll move out, then!”

“Jughead, no-”

Jughead’s palms were clammy, his skin was crawling with ants, he was angry, furious, and he was getting suffocated in this kitchen. He needed to leave, get out, get some fresh air, anything.

“Archie, I love Betty, and you need to check yourself.” Jughead said, smooth and calm. “You’ve already broken her heart, and now you’ll probably break Valerie’s. I don’t know what to say or do that’ll help you.”

Archie’s face betrayed his emotions- both boys were irate.

“Jughead-”

“Boys?” Veronica said from the threshold, Betty and Kevin in tow. Archie and Jughead’s spat had apparently attracted attention. “What’s going on?”

Archie’s eyes fell upon Betty, and with unsteady legs, he moved towards her. “Betty, I have something to say…”

Jughead couldn’t possibly listen the the rest of it. He needed some air, he needed to leave the room, he needed all of this to stop. The universe wasn’t under his control, although, but he could… Leave.

With not word, he pushed himself off the counter, gave Archie the most hateful look he could muster up, and moved to the door.

“Jug, where are you-”

He looked up at Betty’s concerned eyes, and could only bring himself to shake his head. He needed to get out. Now. Fast. Before he imploded.

Breaking his gaze with Betty’s, he moved past her with a jerky movement and left the room, the house, Archie’s porch, and finally out on the road.

He swiveled about in two directions- where would he go? His dad’s? But any thought of going back into that stuffy trailer held no appeal. Open air was his goal.

Above Pop’s diner it would be.

Surprisingly, and thankfully, no one followed him, not even Betty. His heart twitched at that. But, with fast strides, almost running, he walked the short walk to the neon-lit building.

His mind was a jumbled mess of hurt sayings towards Archie, fearful mutterings that Betty would choose Archie, and guilt, though he couldn’t place why. In was October, not very hot, especially in Canada, but Jughead’s beanie and jacket were suffocating him.

His strides faster, relief when he finally caught sight of the neon banner- and instead of entering the front door, he went round that back, located the ladder that always seemed to be there, climbed its rusty rungs, and finally settled near the lit-up diner’s sign..He was hidden from view, but he could see people approaching. Only Betty knew of this particular hiding spot, even though it was one he visited only when he was in emotional anguish.

This counted.

He took deep breaths to calm himself down, mind still reeling.

He bit his lip and looked up at the star-studded sky, year’s worth of observing constellations with Archie leading him to identify each one immediately.

Archie.

Betty.

He was stuck in a cliché love triangle, a concept which he openly despised after reading same, boring old versions of it in numerous books. He was a hypocrite, it seemed.

He was livid at Archie. That July Fourth incident was nothing- this was crossing the line. Liquor induced or not, Archie was…

Jughead grit his teeth, removing the crown beanie from his head and setting it beside him; his hand running through his father’s raven locks, which both he and Jellybean had inherited.

It just occurred to him that he was, maybe, being overly dramatic, opting to storm off in a rage rather than stay and let communication take care of things. He was here already, though. He closed his eyes and leant back against some piping.

“Jughead Jones.”

He opened his eyes, evidently taken by surprise. “Betty?”

“Who else?” The girl in question came into view. Her arms were folded.

Jughead said nothing, meeting her gaze.

“Jughead, I heard everything.”

Dismay ploughed through his body. “From the beginning?”

Betty nodded. “Yep.”

“Betty…”

“Jughead, if you underestimate me so much that you think I’d forget our entire relationship and go back to Archie, then you underestimate me.”

Jughead bowed his head. “I was angry. So, so angry, because a part of me is always insecure that you still have feelings for him, and I’m…”

“What? A rebound?”

Silence permeated, which betrayed Jughead’s answer.

“Jughead, I’m sorry, but if you think I’m as shallow as that, then maybe this relationship won’t work out.”

“Betty, no- I’m sorry.”

“Sorry? Jug, you just walked out like that, right before I realised that he still… Whatever, but it got me thinking that you were willing to just let the whole thing we have go, because of Archie, who’s drunk!” Betty gesticulated wildly.

“I am furious at Archie, Jug, but I’m furious at you, too. Yes, it’s your birthday, but you can’t walk out without talking to me first. I thought we had a mature relationship, but communication is key, Jug!”

Jughead stood up and took her hand. “Betty, I’m sorry. I just needed air, I was furious too. And please don’t end this.”

Betty pulled herself closer. “I won’t, Jug. And it’s okay, just don’t do it again.”

Jughead kissed her, and that was his reply.

He walked her to his original spot, and they sat down together side by side, him playing with her hand and her playing with his beanie-free hair.

“How did you know I was here?”

“Simple. When you’re upset, you go to Pop’s. When you’re annoyed and frustrated, you go to the Drive In. And when you’re angry, or really, really sad, then you come here.”

“Okay, you know me well.”

“Mhmm.”

Their hands intertwined.

“Juggie, I heard you say that you…love me.”

Jughead blushed. “Um, yes, I do, Betts.”

“I love you too, Jug.” She cupped his cheeks and kissed him, slow and peaceful and reassuring and calming, everything he needed right now.

She loved him, he loved her, and even though they were just seventeen, future uncertain, what mattered was right now and right here.

“Hands down; best birthday gift ever.”

A sharp rapping on the mesh frame of FP Jones’s trailer was what woke Jughead up from his position on the couch. He didn’t want to stay at Archie’s last night, so he’d turned to his dad, whom he’d found passed out in the arm chair. After helping him back to bed, Jughead had curled up in his current position.

With a wince, he sat up. The couch had a broken spring, and his left shoulder was ever so sore.

Another knock. “Coming!” He said, pulling his beanie on and getting up.

On opening the door, he found Archie, evidently hung over, with mussed-up hair and a tired face.

No niceties. Jughead didn’t think he deserved it. “Go away.” And he made to shut the door.

“Jughead, wait, I’m so so sorry.”

Jughead stopped the door, and stared at him, brow furrowed. “And I’m supposed to believe that?”

“Jug, please, I was drunk.”

“That’s not going to excuse anything.”

“I know, Jug, please let me in.”

Jughead complied, though that didn’t mean he forgave Archie.

“You’ve been ignoring my texts and calls.”

“No shit, Sherlock.” Jughead said, plonking himself on the couch. “All I want to do is punch you right now.”

“I get it, Jug. What I did is inexcusable, and hurt both your and Betty’s feelings. I guess I took you granted.”

Jughead narrowed his eyes. “Surprisingly accurate.”

“I had a chance with Betty, and I ruined it, and I guess she’s happy with you. Part of me was confused and jealous, and after I downed, like, eight beers yesterday, it all came spilling out. My ego prevented me from understanding why Betty was happy with someone else, and when this someone else was you… I was hurt.”

Jughead, arms crossed, met Archie’s eyes with a steely gaze. The redhead continued.

“And nothing will ever excuse the fact that I asked you to break up with her for me. I don’t know what I was thinking, Jug. I am so, incredibly sorry. I’m not good with words, but I just want you to know that I would do anything to redeem myself. I hate myself because I ruined  a your birthday, too.”

Jughead replied. “What about Betty, Veronica and Valerie?”

“I apologised to Betty just now. After this, Veronica and Valerie.”

“Okay.”

“Jughead, I’m going to say this again, and I won’t ever stop- I’m so sorry.”

Jughead stood up, crossed over to the counter, and leaned on it. “How am I supposed to live with the fact that I know you still like Betty?”

“I’ll get over it, like she got over me.”

Jughead bit his lip. “Archie, I’m never going to forget this, but I forgive you.”

Archie looked visibly relieved, chest heaving. “You don’t know how much that means to me, Jug.”

“Okay, but things aren’t going back to what they were before immediately, Archie. I’m still hurt, Betty’s still hurt, and who knows about Valerie, but it’s great to know that at least you’re sorry for your incendiary ways.”

“So much, so much that you won’t believe it.”

They both smiled softly at each other.

The friendship, although cracked, still remained intact.

Jughead yawned as he clocked out of his shift at Pop’s. After the Drive-In had closed, he needed a job, and after Hermione Lodge left, a spot had opened up for him. Their financial situation wasn’t great, so Jughead really needed this.

This wasn’t to say that he was tired though. He looked forward to curling up with a book, or maybe sneaking up to Betty’s room.

He shrugged off his uniform, shrugged on his jacket, switched the lights off, and left the diner with the bell ringing behind him.

He immediately tripped, though, when a flash of light and a huge ‘surprise!’ took him off guard.

“Crap.” He said, cradling the hand he’d landed on. He looked up at all his friends- Betty, Veronica, Archie, Kevin, and Joaquin.

“Oh gosh, Jug, you okay?” Betty said, bending and helping him up.

“I’m fine,” He winced. “What’s going on?”

“Well,” Betty started, a hopeful smile on her face, hands clasped in his, “After your birthday last week went, well awry…”

“We decided to throw you, or gently hand you an amazing night, the ultimate movie marathon of your choice.”
“Oh guys, this is too much…”

“Nonsense.” Archie said. He was noticeably standing further away from Betty and Veronica. He’d apologised, but things were still slightly awkward.

“Come on, we must make it up to you.” Betty said, squeezing his hand.

Jughead grinned. “Okay. As long as we binge watch Hitchcock.”

Kevin groaned, but his smile said something different.

So, hand in hand with Betty Cooper, Jughead Jones walked away from Pop’s surrounded by his friends. Relationships were still mending and new ones were forming, some people were sorry, some weren’t, and betrayals still ran rampant, but he was happy, at least for now.

“Oh, god—Jughead, there’s blood!”

On his right side, Betty stares at the jagged piece of glass covered with what she assumes is her sister’s blood. The wind whips broken shards over her fingers now gripping the ledge before Jughead inhales sharply beside her, reaching out to pull her hands from the window sill.

“Betty, your hands—“

She looks down and sees the glass sticking out from her palms, but she’s numb to the pain. She hadn’t even realized…

Jughead looks up at her worriedly, holding her wrists in a gentle grasp before plucking the pieces away and using the cuff of his sleeve to wipe the deep crimson of her blood intermingling with the droplets of water from the rain away.

Caffeine Challenge #11

“Have a nice day!” I said waving at the back of my precious customer. My smile not quite so effortlessly stretched across my face.

“You don’t actually mean that, do you?” Al questioned, raising a well groomed brow at me so I could see the full gradient of her pink eye shadow and frankly, it was an impressive gradient.

“Of course I don’t.”  The smile dropped off my face and turned into a pained grimace, that still looked more like a smile. It hurt but it wouldn’t go away. If only it didn’t take so many muscles to show my displeasure.

“Oh,” Al looked at the customer sitting down in a corner booth. I could see her trying to figure out why I hadn’t meant that; the cogs in her head working together to come to a sensible conclusion, “She didn’t say thank you, did she?” And yet totally failing at it.
