Things the Types Need to Hear

ESFP: Look, I get it, you leave people in the dust because you know how crazy and all over the place your life can be and you’re also crazy scared to let somebody in just to have it end up with you accidentally leaving them and both of you getting hurt, but emotional intimacy and real depth in friendships are 100% worth it in the end and it’s the struggle and fight of a lifetime to keep them in your life, but it’s also the greatest gift and you can’t keep denying yourself that intimacy and friendship.

ISFP: I know you have a lot of great desires and wonderful dreams and they might seem too far off and too crazy and too beautiful to come true, but you have them for a reason, and you gotta stop paralyzing yourself with fear and take that first step and throw yourself into the unknown, and that’s the scariest part, I know, but we both know you’re braver than you look, and that your passion can make it happen.

ENFP: I know that the moment you hit an obstacle or two when you first start working towards that far off dream, it’s scary and it makes you want to crumble and run away to a new thing like you think you always do, but don’t! You’re miles more tenacious and capable than you give yourself credit for and you’ve got to discipline yourself and trust that your talents and optimism can and will propel you through whatever is keeping you from your goals.

INFP: I know it’s hard to feel understood and it’s easy to let yourself become bitter by the ways of the world or whatever’s happening, but closing yourself off to others isn’t going to save you the pain. You have a natural capacity to understand others that’s hard for the other types to grasp and when you stop yourself from using that talent, or use it for selfish reasons, you’re doing yourself a massive injustice.

ESTP: Listen, I totally get that the world is full of fun and interesting things and you want to experience them all, but you’ve got to remember that for a lot of the people that come along with you, they’re there to experience YOU as much as they’re there for the thing itself. Don’t let yourself forget that half the fun of anything is who you’re doing it with.

ISTP: I know you generally don’t mean to yell or be rude when your irritated and that it’s really just a passing thing and you don’t generally care all that much, but just apologize to people after you’ve calmed down! Explain it to them and that you don’t mean it! Admit to yourself that you care enough about them to try to make amends, even when you’re just being a little crotchety; it means a lot to the feelers lol.

ENTP: You’re a genuinely fun person to be around and you usually rack up a reputation for that, but just because you’re funny and witty and damn smart doesn’t mean you don’t have feelings and problems that need to be externalized, and trust me, the right people will be more than willing to talk about what’s really happening in your life one minute and go back to elaborate jokes the next without a problem. Don’t stunt your emotional growth for the sake of brevity.

INTP: It’s okay to not know what to do in an emotional situation. Like, it’s genuinely okay. If somebody’s opening up to you, half the time your presence and you listening is 95% of what they need in that moment. Don’t avoid the situations just because it causes writer’s block emotionally. Emotional availability comes with experience. You’ll learn. Just, be your goofy self and the rest will come with time.

ENFJ: You’ve got to realize that although holding yourself to such a high standard is noble and praiseworthy, that it sometimes eclipses your ability to be a good friend when that was the goal in the first place. You’re human and can’t do everything for your friends that you’d want to be able to do when they need help, and profusely apologizing and beating yourself up for it just shifts the focus off of helping your friend and turns it to you. Accept your humanity, and just do what you can. They appreciate the help, I promise.

INFJ: I know you have a tendency to feel misunderstood and want people to show you that they love you and care about you, but you don’t get to say you’re fine AND disappear on people. Either say you’re not okay and pull back, or say you’re okay and stick around long enough for somebody to see through the BS. In my experience, y'all have a habit of making things a self-fulfilling prophecy, and that doesn’t do you any good! Be forward, be honest, and just be vulnerable; they care more than you convince yourself they do.

ESFJ: I need to be straight with y'all. Learn how to talk about something other than your 4-5 current fixations. In my experience, N’s have a crazy hard time being close with you because you keep bringing the topic back to one of your current Favorite Things™, whether it be the semester abroad you just got back from or the first date that’s scheduled for two weeks from now. Expand your area of interest and you’ll find people will be much more authentic with you.

ISFJ: You have this really amazing ability to notice the small things about people and that helps you show them you care about them in these really great and meaningful ways, but you can’t let yourself overthink the small things you notice about people. One of my good ISFJ friends started poking around trying to see if alcoholism ran in my family after noticing I’d been drinking wine a lot recently. You might have an intention to help, but overthinking/overanalyzing like that and trying to involve yourself in helping can hurt your friendships.

ESTJ: Your presence is powerful and intense and that’s great at times, but you’ve got to let out your goofy fun side more, and hoe we’ve all seen it before, you’re a damn riot after a beer or two. People, in general, care more about fun than having every plan go right during the night/event. Be willing to be fun more, you’re so good at it.

ISTJ: I know you get frustrated with yourself because you want to do new things and get out there and be a fun person, but the thing is, you’re so much better at being a responsible, caring person. Befriend the chaotic, crazy, lovable rascals and let them bring the fun to you (or more often than not, drag you kicking and screaming to where the fun is).

ENTJ: Look, I’m an INTJ, so I know how hard this is to swallow, but showing you care about a person sometimes isn’t so much giving them solutions to their problems or trying to correct an issue; a lot of the other types literally just want you to listen and hear them out. And you gotta do that sometimes, babe. And shut your damn mouth while they’re telling you everything, okay? Just. Let them finish.

INTJ: For the love of all that is holy, just cry already. Cry alone if you have to, or better yet, just go to the person you’d literally murder a thousand people for and freakin’ cry about all the crap you’ve been bottling up for the past two months and accept that you can have razor-sharp rationale and be a damn human at the same time. And just admit that you’re insecure about your relationship with that person because you care about them so much and you’re not the best at trusting people.

Farewell...

One: You must never reveal sensitive information about Fairy Tail to others for as long as you live.

Two: You must never use former contacts met through your being in the guild for personal gain.

Three: Though our paths may have diverged, you must continue to live out your life with all your might, you must never consider your own life to be something insignficant , and you must never forget about your friends who loved you.

But…

This isn’t goodbye. Not for good.

The journey is over, but that doesn’t mean the fun has to stop. We’ll go on more adventures together. We may find others to keep us amused, we may start to create for other characters, but…

“Even if I can’t see you, I’ll always be looking your way.”

That’s a promise, no matter how far I’ll go, there will be none to captivate my heart like you…

Fairy Tail.

**more than friends: an index**
  • A Socratic relationship, in which you ask a lot of really difficult questions of the other person until they get annoyed and want to poison you. (I have a lot of those.)

  • A Hegelian relationship, in which the two parties disagree about everything but eventually achieve a synthesis. (Come to think of it, I have a lot of those, too.)

  • An Aristotalean relationship, characterized by an extreme interest in what category of relationship this is.

  • A Cartesian relationship, characterized by doubts about whether there’s really a relationship going on.
A more extreme version of this is the Berkeleyan relationship, characterized by an adamant insistence that there is no relationship going on at all. Both of these can in time evolve into a Wittgensteinian relationship, in which the participants acknowledge that whether there’s a “real relationship” is an ill-defined question that depends more on the structure of their language than on the reality of the relationship.

  • An Aquinian relationship, that acknowledges that an exploration of the nature of the relationship is likely to strengthen rather than weaken it.

  • A Hobbesian relationship – solitary, poor, nasty, brutish, and short. (Sorry, I couldn’t resist.)

  • A Kantian relationship, in which you can morally do anything that it’s OK for everyone else in the relationship to do.

  • A Rousseaian relationship, characterized by the natural behavior of man in the wild, away from civilization.

  • A Nietzchian relationship, where both parties focus primarily on the will to power.

  • A Randian relationship, in which both parties act exclusively in their own self-interest.

  • A Heraclitean relationship, which you may as well not categorize since it’s not only different from all other relationships, it isn’t the same from one moment to the next. (You might think you’ve been in one just like that, but you’re wrong.)

  • A Stoic relationship, which is also unique, but anyway it’s no better nor
    worse than any other.

  • An Epicurean relationship, which theoretically isn’t very different from a Stoic one, but sounds like a lot more fun.
  • A Humean relationship, in which what you see is what you get.

  • A Hillelistic relationship, which is platonic (in the vulgar sense) because nobody will do anything to anybody that they don’t want done back to themselves.

  • A Christian relationship, which soon degenerates into a platonic relationship because both parties are doing what they do want done back to themselves, instead of what the other party wants done to them.

  • A Marxist relationship, where each party gives according to – I’ll stop right there, it’s too obvious. Clearly *that* one is doesn’t become platonic. Let’s hear it for Materialism.

Sometimes I feel myself getting stuck in a CAS rut and a lot of my sims end up looking very similar. I’ve seen these types of click and drag generators often as writing resources, or as silly games to predict the “future” and thought it might be interesting to tailor it and incorporate it directly into the sims so I’ve thrown a quick one together. Everything is still quite open-ended so it’s all up for personal interpretation, it’s just a push to get you started.

*Note: I included alien and vampire under gender. If you get one of these options, feel free to drag again until you get male/female to determine the gender, or choose it yourself. Like I said this isn’t set in stone and is more for inspiration than hardcore rules. If you don’t have the vampire pack, just pull a different result. No biggie.

By no means do I take any form of credit for this idea, I’m sure it’s probably even been done on simblr in the past, I just wanted to throw my hat in the ring and thought I’d share it with all you lovelies as well. x

Might make a fun challenge too? tag your creations as #clickanddragcas or something and see what this prompts us all to make maybe idk!! just have fun nd make cute sims

Queer Musicals

Like a month ago I made a post asking people to but queer musicals in the tags and I was gonna make some big list with bootlegs and descriptions and stuff but I didn’t have the time so here’s just the list I had saved to notes and if you want bootlegs of them I might have them over at @leg-boots. Feel free to correct and add to this list. Ok there’s been a lot of corrections and additions so I can’t keep up, just check through the comments to see them all haha

Long day

Prompt- I super love your erasermight art, omg. Can you do one where they’re cuddling on a sofa or bed on a lazy afternoon with Aizawa’s cats?

Thank you so much! I mean, they’re not quite cuddling, but I have a soft spot for drawing characters falling asleep in dumb ways XD. This pose took a bit of mental gymnastics tho, not gonna lie.

Still totally accepting bnha prompts- only up to the anime preferably, (I’m almost caught up but its less fun when not everyone can see it.) Any ships, fluff or no! Reply or send me an ask, specifics make it more interesting for me to paint, and as always, I can’t do all of them </3

One of these days I’ll stop doing SU crossovers, today is not that day. I’ve had this idea stuck in my head for weeks, and I finally sat down and doodled it. I just really love SU crossovers, gem stuff, it’s so colorful and fun.

| | GIF TEXTURES FOR YOU TO USE IN YOUR EDITS, PART 2! | |
(PART ONE)

Hi friends! All of these textures are ones that I have personally gif’d and then edited from free resource videos. You are welcome to use any and all of them! No credit is necessary, but if you do save one of these, please like and/or reblog this post so that others can see them! Following me is always super appreciated, as I love friends and I will also be posting more graphic resources that you might be interested in!

I recommend applying these in Screen, Lighten, or one of the other “Lighter Color” options in Photoshop. That way, you get the white dots and such without the black background overlayed onto your image like this.

For those who are new to this, here is a tutorial (not mine) on combining gifs with another image!

Please do not delete / cut + repost this caption, these take quite a while to make and edit! I appreciate it, have fun!! Feel free to link me to your creations!

Hey! I am really late with this, but I though that some of you might like to see how I make my monthly spreads. I did this sort of “infographics” (??? am I even allowed to call this thing infographics??) and even though it looks like this, I had so much fun making it :D. I really don’t know whether this is helpful or not, I tried. In case you’d like to see more tutorials (and hopefully better ones) in the future, let me know please? And thanks if you read it till the end, it’s so long :D

(I totally ran out of space for pictures at the end lol)

~*~Sellieve’s Moon Sign Interpretations!~*~

Moon in Aries: You impulsively act on your feelings without thinking them through. You need adventure in order to feel complete. You are moodiest when you feel impatient. Very passionate and deliberate. Straight and to the point, you prefer not to dwell on or analyze your feelings.  Precocious, eager to get going in their pursuits.  A strong sense of autonomy, insistent on doing things on their own, a lust for independence.

Moon in Taurus: When provoked, you become stubborn and hardheaded. You have a hard time understanding the feelings of others. You can get stuck in emotional ruts, but what’s good about this is the fact that it gives you determination. Various smells, tastes, textures, sights, and sounds have more of an effect on your mood than they do for other people. Your emotions are less fickle than anyone. Once you feel a certain way about a person or situation, it is unlikely that you will change.  An emotional need for affection, you love to be touched.

Moon in Gemini: You feel the need to talk about your feelings and get it all figured out on a mental level. Indecisive, you understand both sides of a story and often feel strongly about more than one opinion on an issue. Acting shallow, letting loose, and seeing things from a lighthearted point of view helps you become emotionally at ease. Sometimes viewed as inconsiderate, you have a hard time understanding why others keep their feelings secret. When provoked, you try to weasel your way out of the situation. You consider all possibilities before making up your mind. You are moodiest when you have gone a long time without having fun.

Moon in Cancer: This is the moon’s favorite position, as Cancer is ruled by the moon. You are lovey-dovey, touchy-feely, affectionate, soft spoken, sensitive, nurturing, gentle, considerate, motherly, but whiny at times. You are ruled by your emotions and have difficulty seeing things objectively. You have a need to feel needed and love being a shoulder to cry on. You love deeply, laugh wholeheartedly, and sadness stings you more painfully than it does for others. You are clingy and have a hard time letting go of old feelings. You are guarded and might not show how emotional you truly are.

Moon in Leo: You have an emotional need to have your ego stroked. You can fill a room with your presence and enjoy being the center of attention. When you feel passionately about something, you express it with full enthusiasm. You are not one to keep their feelings private. Some may view you as demanding, others admire the fact that you really know who you are and aren’t afraid to show it. You are dedicated at getting what you want.

Moon in Virgo: Little things tend to set you off, and you notice things more than others would. You can be thoughtful and nurturing, but cynical as well. You feel like your good deeds go unnoticed, but you give appreciation to other peoples’ favors more than many would. You really think through your feelings before acting on them; you feel that you must analyze your feelings to get them perfectly figured out, then you tell people exactly what you feel. Sometimes you get bogged down in details and miss the bigger picture. Men who have moon in Virgo are in touch with their feminine side. Sometimes the fact that you are considerate of others’ feelings gets in the way of pursuing what you want.

Moon in Libra: You have an emotional need to be balanced and to please other people. Against separatism, you strive to make everyone feel included and comfortable around you. You will refrain from speaking up about how you feel out of fear of disturbing someone else. You can be resentful as you often put your own needs on the back burner to help someone else. You are indecisive about how you feel but after collecting enough information, your opinions are stronger than anyone else’s. You care about what other people think of you and try to be as fair as possible. You use your charm to get what you want. You are pretty good at seeing the bigger picture but often miss important details.

Moon in Scorpio: You are emotionally intense and occasionally you erupt. You feel the need to get down to the bottom of an issue, finding the very source of a conflict. You use your emotions to give your life more meaning. You are annoyed by shallow people and prefer to view everything from a deeper perspective. You lack the ability to be carefree as you thrive on feeling everything to the extreme. You are not afraid to face the more painful things in life, and you prefer to heal yourself from the inside out rather than cover up the surface of a problem.  When people hurt you, it leaves a deep impression on you, and you have trouble forgiving or forgetting.

Moon in Sagittarius: Emotionally, you are all over the place and unstable. Trying new foods and broadening your horizons fills your explorative heart. You have an emotional need for action, adventure, and freedom. You have this “go go go” attitude and other people tell you to slow down. When you feel passionately about something, some people may perceive you to be radical. You are open about how you feel, to the point that people see you as tactless. Nothing can extinguish your flaming enthusiasm and zest for life!

Moon in Capricorn: You take your feelings to the next level, always wanting to experience them at full complexity. You have supreme sensibility and logic that keeps you emotionally stable. You like to be seen as sophisticated, and so you often hide your passion and intensity behind a well composed, serious disposition, and well-crafted speech. You thoroughly contemplate your feelings before acting on them; you feel that you must analyze your feelings to get them perfectly figured out, then you tell people exactly what you feel. Some people who have moon in Capricorn ignore their emotions all together, for the sake of practicality, while other people with moon in Capricorn are the most emotional people you know, whether or not they show it –or even admit it to themselves! You have been wounded so many times to the point that you have grown to have thick skin, and get annoyed by people who are overly touchy. You have an “it is what it is” attitude and will tell the cold hard truth without sugarcoating.

Moon in Aquarius: Having your uniqueness stroked makes you feel fulfilled. Inspired by science and literature that has morals, you enjoy an intellectual challenge! You have a rebellious streak to fight for what is right. You rationalize the way you feel, a few friends of mine born with moon in Aquarius write what they feel in order to make sense of it. You prefer to view things objectively. You may have a hard time understanding the way others feel as you can be quite opinionated. You are good at thinking outside the box and seeing a situation in a new light.

Moon in Pisces: You have an emotional need to just go with the flow, meaning that you will act based on whatever feels right at the time, without analyzing the possibilities or considering the outcome. Though you are easily hurt, you are good at letting go and getting on with life. Others see you as hard to hold onto or pin down in a situation. Your personality is hard to fully grasp, even you aren’t sure of yourself. Your emotions are almost never concrete, you tend to change your mind and you are easily influenced by others. This makes you very agreeable and easy to talk to, but spineless. Very conflict-avoidant and evasive, you have a hard time facing your fears or having conversations that require you to be honest about your feelings. You feel like your good deeds go unnoticed and that you get walked all over, because it is hard for you to stick up for yourself. You have a lovely imagination and intuition.

Plotting with Flawed Characters

Anonymous asked: “Do you have any tips for writing good and believable flaws for characters and making them effect the plot?”

All good characters are flawed in some way. Even if they are good and kind people, no one is perfect and this rule is especially true for fictional characters. Flaws do not always have to be big and in your face. They can be smaller and relatable.

Some people will say that the character’s flaws should work directly against him in his pursuit of his goal, but I don’t think that is necessarily true. It should however effect how he progresses to his goals. When trying to connect character flaws and plots, you can either know the plot and figure out how the character will get tripped up along the way or come up with the character and try to see how that could hinder him in working towards his goals.

Our lovely blue boy 💙I tried something different with my style this time. I went back to the old way that I used to draw noses and I tried a sharper jaw/overly more defined face. It was definitely interesting and a challenge. I was really inspired by @thesearchingastronaut @ashterism @sir-scandalous @blk-l . The way they structure the face and the sharp look from their styles are so cool and (dare I say attractive like have you seen the way they draw jaw lines 🙏🏻) I wanted to see if I would like a more defined look to my art. Also the way @thesearchingastronaut draws Lance’s hair is so beautiful and I just fell in love with it, so I tried it out(but she does it so much better, I didn’t do it justice at all lol) This was fun to draw though, and I might try to implement more defined features into my own artwork, but mostly this was something experimental and fun. i’ve seen a lot of these posts but none of them really aligned with my experience. so here it is, how to survive freshman year from one of many sophomores in this community. please take everything here with a grain of salt.

before school starts:

  • you will not need nearly as many notebooks as you think you do. please, save yourself the time and money and hold off on buying them until you know how many you need.
  • try not to get stuck in the school’s mindset of what classes you need. for example, most freshmen in my school (on a trimester system) take Bio 1, Chem 1, then Chem 2. i took all of those classes, but i really didn’t need to take bio 1 because i’m planning to complete my bio credits with AP Bio (and also bio is one of my stronger subjects). chem 1 and 2 are the only prerequisites for AP Bio, so what i should have done was drop Bio 1 and take a fine arts class instead to fill up those requirements. tl;dr: play to your strengths and don’t listen to the school when they tell you something is “highly recommended”.
  • if you’re doing a sport, please know when you have to turn in paperwork to play. don’t miss the deadline or put off your physical.

when school starts:

  • try not to pack too much in your backpack on the first day. paper, writing utensils, a jacket, water (reusable bottles will save your life), your lunch/money, and your student id!!! (very important) should cut it.
  • take a picture of your schedule on your phone. if you get a map mark where your classes are and take a pic of that too. chances are that flimsy piece of paper dictating your entire day will get torn, crumpled or lost. i’ve seen people say it looks horribly freshman-like if you carry around your schedule all day, if that’s a thing you worry about.
  • if you get a class you don’t like (that’s not a required class), switch out of it asap. don’t try and suffer through it for the credits. it will suck.
  • it’s not a big deal if you need to drop or raise a level. do what’s best for your gpa. don’t feel horribly inferior if there are freshmen taking 2 APs when you’re taking none (like me) because they probably took classes over the summer. they’re not geniuses, i promise.
  • PLEASE, try not to carry too much stuff in your backpack. at my school we don’t have lockers and my shoulders suffered because i thought i could bring a 1L bottle, three reading books, my thick jacket, and two large pencil case along with all my school stuff.
  • YOUR SCHOOL ID IS YOUR LIFELINE. try your best not to lose it, and if you do, replace it as soon as possible.
  • if you have the extra money, buying two sets of pe clothes is incredibly helpful. trust me on this.
  • don’t stress too much, it’s really not as bad as it seems.

once school is well underway:

  • don’t freak out if you do badly on a test. one of my friends got a d on her midterm and ended up having an a in the class. you’ll have time to pull it up.
  • at the same time, don’t slack either. people say freshman grades aren’t that important, especially if you show improvement in later years, but don’t let your grades go to the dogs. freshman year is the time to build good habits, and colleges really like to see unweighted 4.0s (or so i’ve heard)
  • be nice to your teachers. even if they’re demon spawn. my friend had a much nicer time than i did with our hellish english teacher simply because she talked to her a lot while i barely spoke at all. if your teachers like you they might be more willing to round your grade up or give you extra credit work.
  • do your best to always be prepared and have your stuff with you. it’s not fun having to ask around for stuff.
  • join some clubs. it helps with meeting new people and finding things you love. if they have competitions, it doesn’t look bad on your resume if you win any.
  • if your school offers the PSAT to freshmen, take it. it’s a good way to look at where you are versus where you want to be come junior year when you’re eligible for the NMSQT.
  • volunteer! get those hours in when you still have time. weekends are great if you aren’t too busy then.
  • try to have the phone number of at least one person in each of your classes. group chats are also great, because people aren’t online all the time and you can ask a bunch of people for help all at once. don’t let them distract you, though. a lot of my group chats like to wander off topic and talk about other things.

when studying:

  • homework is gonna take a lot longer than it did in middle school. utilize the time you have effectively and do what it takes to make sure you’re ready to get to work. for example, one of my friends would always nap right after school for a few hours, and then do her homework later. i usually grab a snack and go on my phone for a few minutes to revitalize.
  • if you have time during school, try doing your homework then. you’ll still be in the school mindset and people will be around for you to ask for help.
  • try not to stay up past midnight. you really won’t need to, and you’ll be glad for the extra sleep. if you have to choose between finishing a small math assignment or going to sleep early for a test tomorrow, take the hit for the assignment and get some sleep.

people and relationships:

  • dating in freshman year tends to be quite ephemeral. if you don’t, good for you. no one will judge you. if you do, good for you. don’t prioritize it though, and be prepared for your friends to constantly tease you about it.
  • don’t date people older than you, especially seniors. i know this has been said a thousand times, but for good reason. please. do not.
  • making friends with people in higher grades is always a good thing, though! in my experience, juniors love freshmen and are probably the easiest to make friends with. they’re really good if you need some advice and you don’t have to worry about them leaving next year. seniors will honestly not care about you unless you see them often. sophomores have a reputation of bullying freshmen (at least in my school), but a lot of them are nice and will be in some of your classes.
  • for me, high school actually had more drama than middle school. don’t be afraid to drop friends and don’t be worried if you lose any; you’ll make better ones later.
  • a lot of the kids in my middle school went to a different high school, so i was basically starting from Ground Zero regarding friends. don’t be too concerned if you don’t click with people right away; i found most of my current friends during the second and third trimesters.

other stuff:

  • bring a charger or a power bank to school if you know you’re gonna need it. you’ll be able to charge your phone during class (if your teacher is ok with it) and if you ask around for one chances are you won’t get it.
  • bring snacks. most teachers are pretty chill about you snacking during class, and it’s better to have your own stuff than mooch off your friends.
  • the rules are more flexible. you can use your phone in class depending on the teacher, they even let you listen to music while they’re teaching if you have earbuds.
  • go to the dances if you want. i didn’t go to any because i’m lazy and also i like to spend my money on other things, but a lot of my friends consider it an important part of the high school experience. football games can be fun too, even if you don’t like football (like me). there’ll be band and cheer and dance if you’re into that, and you can also hang out with your friends (the ones from the school your school is playing too!) and eat really unhealthy snacks. same with pep rallies, except no food.
  • if your school has a newsletter or weekly news videos, pay attention to them. they usually have important information on where new clubs are meeting, spirit weeks, deadlines, events, etc.
  • everyone is really spirited the first month or so and then after that they don’t care. follow their lead.
  • talk to your teachers if you need help. they’ll do their best to work something out for you.
  • there’s gonna be that one person who thinks the world revolves around them and gets on your nerves. chances are everyone else hates them too. be nice to them, but don’t hang around them.
  • you’re not alone. everyone else is just as worried as you. have fun, and don’t sweat it.

  • you guys became friends after an argument,,,,,,,,,literally,,,,,,,
  • there was only one popsicle in your favorite flavor left at the 7/11 and you most certAINLY weren’t going to give it up to this random,,,tall,,,,,,,skinny boy,,,,,,,,
  • and the8 was glaring daggers back at you because his hand was already on the treat
  • and you’d tried to reason that you’d been in the store longer,,,,,,while the8 explained that his hand touched the popsicle first
  • and you guys could have literally stood there for the next hour,,,,but thankfully fifteen minutes later the manager came by and took the popsicle and dropped in the hands of a kid waiting near the counter
  • and before you or the8 could as much as speak, the kid was already unwrapping it and taking his first bite
  • that episode ended up with you and the8 standing outside if the 7/11,,,,,,,without popsicles,,,,,,,,,pouting simultaneously
  • you both blamed the other person and left pissed,,,,,,,only to find each other again the next evening in the same 7/11,,,,,,,,
  • and basically this became a habit,,,,,,,you and the8 seeing each other in this grocery store and always getting into a little argument over cereal brands or soda preferences
  • until it just became playful sarcastic banter and ,,,, you two actually started enjoying seeing each other,,,,,,,to the point where,,,maybe you weren’t 7/11 enemies but you know,,,,,,,,friends
  • and ok so maybe a couple of times you guys even walked home together from the 7/11,,,maybe bought some snacks together from street vendors,,,,,,,,maybe exchanged numbers,,,,,,,,,
  • ok you guys are friends LOL even if sometimes the8 teases you when you ask for bites of his food and he’s like oH are we buddies now??? and you’re like b OY you snapchatted me like an hour ago to invite me to hangout with you yes we’re friends now give me your food-
  • but one day you bump into the8 on a day where you didn’t plan to hangout together but,,,,,,you know he comes over to you and you’re in the supermarket looking confusingly at vegetables and the8 is like ruffling your hair and asking you whats up
  • and you’re like,,,,,,,,,,i have to cook something,,,,,my friends sick and i want to make him soup but,,,,,,,idk,,,,,,,how to do that,,,,,,
  • and the8 raises an eyebrow and is like “him? friend? boyfriend?” and you’re like LOL no,,,,,,,,i wISH,,,,,,but yeah no can you put eggplants into a soup-”
  • but before you can pick up anything, the8 puts his hand over yours and is like “ill help you. no need to ask, i can see the desperation in your face” and you’re like heY DONT make fun of me rn,,, and he just smirks and takes your basket and starts filling it up with all these ingredients as you follow him around
  • and you ask him what this and that is and he’s like don’t worry, i know what im doing. trust me
  • and you don’t know,,,,,,how much you can,,,,,but the8 might be more helpful than a recipe off the internet so when you guys buy everything you invite him over
  • and for a moment,,,,,you don’t catch it,,,,,but the8 clears his throat with nervousness because,,,,well honestly this is his first time over at your place like this,,,,,, but he puts on a cool face and is like ok ok where’s your kitchen
  • and it’s cute,,,,,he makes some comment on how it’s a little messy but he expects it from you and you’re like HEY AGAIN WITH THE TEASING and he just laughs and you’re watching him,,,,,,,prepare everything like some kind of pro
  • and he’s got his sleeves rolled up as he’s dicing vegetables and he looks,,,really handsome and you’re like no no no whaT are you thinking this is the boy who has embarrassing nicknames for you and you get into petty arguments with him,,,,,,,but,,,,,,,,
  • and you look to see his concentrated gaze, how lean but still athletically built he is and you’re like oh ,,,,, oh no
  • and suddenly the8 is like “napkin,,,,can you hand me one,,,im sweating -” and you’re like oH right!!! and you get some from a shelf and come over carefully, dabbing at the sweat above his eyebrows
  • and the8 freezes because,,,,this is the first time you’ve touched him like this,,,,and before you know it your eyes meet and you stop too and ,,,,,,the8 is looking at you,,,,,intensely,,,,,and you can feel your cheeks heat up but you can’t???? look away either???? it’s like a spell is cast over you too
  • and the8′s vision flickers down to your lips than back to your eyes
  • and it’s like a scene out of a movie,,,,he puts down the knife he’s using for chopping and you put down the napkin and he’s suddenly so close,,,close enough for you to feel his breathing on your skin and,,,,,,,,then it’s like this situation calls for only one action,,,,,and when his lips settle on yours,,,,,,,,,,,,
  • it feels like the kitchen and the world has melt away
  • and ,,,,,,,,,, who knew about all this tension,,,,, between you two but also this ,,,,emotional attachment you two had grown and didn’t even know about,,,,,
  • but when the8 pulls back and you’re both staring at each other again you’re like ,,,, stuttering over your words but trying to say you need to hurry up you told your friend you’d come over by 8
  • and the8,,,,,in the most serious tone goes “ill go with you.” and you’re like ??!???? why,,,,,and he’s like “i don’t want you taking care of another man, ill help you out so he knows you’re just being a good friend.”
  • you want to roll your eyes,,,,,but also the words make you feel excited and you poke the8′s back as he’s cooking again and you’re like ,,,,,, “hey,,,,,,,,does that mean you’re the man i can take care of?~~” and he’s like HA i think you’d just make me more si-” but before he finishes he turns to see you pouting again and he pulls you into another hug and is like im joking, of course from now on : only take care of me, and ill only take care of you.”
