you guys must have been good

Hippie came over to Staff with tears in her eyes. ''Why is everyone making me out at the bad girl?'' She sniffled and whimpered. ''A-All we did was have f-fun like good friends do..'' She cried more as she played the 'victim' act.

“Hey, hey! Nobody said you’re a bad guy! They must’ve just been mistaken!”

“I mean… I know I would never let something like that happen, and, if I did, I… I’d remember, right?”

What’s up, it’s Alexei!

When Ngozi posted this picture yesterday of young post-draft Tater “trying his darnedest to answer press questions in English,” I thought, “You know, I could make a play fic out of that.” Which is what led to the following 2700+ words about Tater and his ESL tutor.

Many, many thanks to @ktheunready for being my Russian authenticity consultant and beta!

Georgia Martin stood at the back of the media scrum and watched Alexei Mashkov stumble his way through his post-draft interview, saw the way his fingers kneaded the brim of the brand-new Falconers’ cap he’d been handed for the initial official photos, saw the way his eyes widened and stayed intently glued to whoever was asking him a question, like he was afraid he’d miss some key bit of meaning if he blinked.

She pulled out her phone and made a call.

***

«No, Mama, I promise, my room is very nice. The family is very nice. Everything is very…»

«Let me guess, nice? »

Alexei sighed. «Yes.»

«You know I don’t doubt you, right, Alyosha? I’m not worried you can’t do this. You will be fine. But I know this is your first time to live in another country, with none of the boys from your teams here. It can be… hard, sometimes. I know.»

«Yeah, Mama, I know. You told me.»

«Are you telling me you’ve heard the stories of my youth too many times?» she asked in mock outrage.

«No, no!» he laughed. «Of course not.»

«Good. I should think not.» He could picture her face exactly, and it made him smile. «I’m glad your host family seems nice, Alyosha. I’m sure you will have many friends in no time.»

He flopped back on the bed again and stared at the ceiling. «I hope so.»

«We’ll talk again soon. Love you, son.»

«Love you, too.»

He hung up and let his phone rest on his chest. He’d been to America before. He’d thought he’d known what it would be like, that it wouldn’t be so bad. Different, yes, but there would be so many interesting new things to see, and new teammates, and he certainly knew how to play hockey. What he had failed to take into account, apparently, was how exhausting it was to try to function in English all day. For a US hockey team, the Falconers’ roster was shockingly low on Russian players, so his host family was one of the French Canadian ones. To their credit, they did speak some Russian, but it was hardly enough to have a real conversation. Alexei felt like he’d been practically mute all day.

Archie Andrews Imagine

“I Hate Parties”

Summary: Betty and Veronica were always dragging you out to parties, the only thing that makes this one any better is the arrival of the one and only Archie Andrews.

Word count: 3030

a/n: It’s way longer than I thought it was gonna be but what the heck. Sorry if it sucks but I suck so it’s appropriate.

Parties had never really been your thing. Like you liked going out sometimes, and every once in a while you would be in the mood to dance, but after a while it just felt boring. Every time you got ready on Friday nights with Betty and Veronica you would be excited; ‘This time will be different,’ you’d think to yourself. But time after time it would end up the same way with the same house of people dancing to the same music and playing the same game of beer pong. Tonight was no exception.

“Can we leave yet?” you yelled over the booming bass to B and V, trailing behind them.

Veronica turned her head to answer you, “Okay, we literally, and I mean literally, just walked in. You haven’t even had time to get bored yet!” She pushed through the crowd and led the trio to the bar in the corner of the room. “So,” she turned to you and Betty with 3 shot glasses, “shots anyone?”

You rolled your eyes and looked to Betty for a go/no-go. “I’m convinced that you have some sort of radar or sonar or something when it comes to finding alcohol” Betty joked back.

“It’s residual from my days in New York,” she said handing each of you a shot glass. “Gentlemen, to our wives and girlfriends,” she started the usual toast looking at the two of you expectantly. You turned you Betty and completed it simultaneously laughing, “May they never meet” and downed the shot, feeling the vodka burn all the way down your throat. You weren’t a huge fan of alcohol, yet another reason parties weren’t your favorite place, but being drunk was fun sometimes. Since it was the getting drunk that was the annoying part, you generally stuck to vodka. You preferred its nail polish remover taste that could get the job done faster to the slow-working, carbonated urine formally known as beer.

Just then, the music changed to “Cake by the Ocean” by DNCE, a song that was notoriously Betty’s jam. Her eyes widened and she jumped up in down in excitement. “We have to dance!” she squealed pulling your and Veronica’s wrists toward the dance floor.

“I think I’m gonna sit this one out guys,” you explained trying to get out of this inevitable public display of embarrassment.

“What, you don’t dance Chad Danforth?” Veronica teased in a very Veronica-esque way. Betty chimed in, “Because we all know how that ends, Chad dances with Ryan like the whole time”.

“It’s not that I’m too good to dance, it’s just I’m not drunk yet enough to dance”

That must have been an acceptable answer because Betty simply pointed at you and began to back away with Veronica in tow with a “Hey batter batter, hey batter batter, swang,” to which you yelled back over the growing crowd with your hands cupped around your mouth, “I’ve got to just do my thang!”

B and V faded behind an ocean of people and you were alone. Just you and the vodka. Speaking of the vodka…

You turned to the bar and poured yourself another shot and stuck your tongue out at the offensive taste. You poured some coke into a red solo cup and started to walk away then thought better. You turned around and poured some more vodka in with the coke. What? It was gonna be a long night.

You made your way through the room, deliberately avoiding the table with the jungle juice and found a dimly lit corner to lean in.

I wonder where Archie is right now? It’s not like he normally hangs out with us at parties anyway. Since they always happen after football games he usually hangs out with the rest of the team, but you were curious. You would never admit it to anyone, not even Betty or Veronica and especially not to Archie, but you’d had feelings for him for quite some time. There were times when you wanted to tell him about it, he was one of your friends after all, but you truly felt that he didn’t feel the same way. It wasn’t worth the risk.

“You like hanging out in dark corners, loner?”

Speak of the devil and he shall appear. You could identify that voice anywhere: the one and only Archie Andrews.

“You like staring into dark corners, creeper?” you shot back.

Archie chuckled and approached with open arms for a friendly hug. “Hey y/n,”

“Hey Tom Brady, great game.” You pulled out from the hug but stayed standing close to him to be able to hear each other over the loud music.

He smiled, “It wasn’t exactly the Super Bowl, but thank you. So, what are you drinking?” He plucked the plastic cup out of your hand. “This isn’t the jungle juice, is it?” he questioned with a slightly alarmed but mostly joking tone. Reggie’s jungle juice was pretty famous, or more accurately infamous.

“God no,” you shook your head, “It’s just coke.”

“Good. Stay away from the jungle juice.” He took a sip and did a bit of a spit take into a nearby plant overdramatically. He looked at you with a faux-shocked expression. “Just coke, huh y/n?”

“Just coke as in mostly coke. As in there’s slightly more coke than vodka.”

“Alcohol’s illegal for people our age you know,” he warned just before he drank half of the cup’s contents.

You narrowed your eyes and leaned toward him as if trying to get a better look, “Why, you a cop?”

He glanced around, checking that the imaginary coast was clear before he leaned in. “You ever seen 21 Jump Street?”

“Ah,” you nodded.

“Yeah.” He said with a laugh, straightening his back and returned the cup to your hand. You thought his hand had lingered for a second touching yours; you were probably just imagining it. You had to be imagining it, but the moment was over before you could really be sure.

“Uh,” you tried to regain your composure. “Betty and Veronica were in the other room dancing the last time I saw them,” You offered figuring this had to be his destination. You were friends/friendly with him but they were all really close. The only reason you even knew Archie in the first place is because you had become good friends with the girls.

He shrugged his shoulders, “Okay.” He blinked at you and didn’t move. You tried to suppress the smile that was threatening to show itself. Maybe he was here for you. The electronic music blared on and you scanned the room, looking for nothing in particular in an attempt to make yourself busy, or at least make yourself look busy. The house was filled to the brim with a mix of people, some you knew, some you didn’t. People were singing and dancing and yelling and drinking and smoking and—okay, you couldn’t ignore it anymore. Archie was still looking at you! You could feel his eyes on you from the side.

You glanced at him and couldn’t help but let out a nervous laugh. He was just smiling down at you like a fool. “Is… is there something I can do for you Mr. Andrews?”

He smirked, keeping a laugh to himself, “No, it’s just,” he shook his head looking down at his feet. “Nah, never mind.”

“Oh, come on! What? Do I have something on my face? Is my hair messed up?” You ran your fingers through your hair trying to fix any possible issues.

“No, you look great. I was uh,” he looked back up at you. “It was just that you looked really cute.” He shrugged his shoulders and looked off to the rest of the party, the flashing lights washing his face with a blue and red light, hitting his cheekbones in just the right way to leave a shadow in the hollows of his cheeks. It wasn’t until that moment that you really noticed how close he was standing to you. He was at max 6 inches from you; he could lean forward the tiniest bit and kiss you (if he were so inclined). It all felt too good to be true. He had to be drunk or something.

“How many drinks have you had?”

“Just the sip of your ‘mostly coke’. Why?”

For some reason this answer bothered you more than if he had been drunk. The fact that he called you ‘cute’ while being almost completely sober was, as far as you could tell, reason for alarm. “Let’s go find some drinks.” Frankly, you needed another one.

You grabbed him by the wrist so you wouldn’t lose him in the crowd and began to push through the mess of sweaty bodies toward the familiar bar. You would have made it too, if it weren’t for the jungle juice. You were walking past the table with the punch bowl of the “juice” on it, the bar was in sight, when some random drunk guy with a cup full of, you guessed it, Reggie’s famous jungle juice rammed into you, spilling the entire contents of the cup all over your shirt. Your mouth hung open and the people around you all gasped.

Archie pushed between you and the guy, “Hey man, why don’t you watch where you’re going?” There was some real anger in his voice, and you weren’t going to lie, it was pretty hot.

“Well why don’t you mind your own business?” the guy said getting right in Archie’s face. He opened his mouth to respond but before he could get anything out you put your hand on his shoulder from behind him.

“Archie?”

He looked down at you, clenching his jaw. “C’mon Arch, it’s not worth it.”

He looked back up at the guy for a moment then back down at you. The crowd that had gathered around you all waiting in anticipation for Archie’s response.

He nodded his head, “I know where the bathroom is,” the crowd of people returned to their former activities with sounds of general dismay that there hadn’t been a fight. “Let’s go see what the damage is.” He grabbed your hand in his and led you in the opposite direction as the bar, down a hallway, and into a bathroom.

It was pretty dark in the house so you couldn’t really see how badly it had spilled on your shirt yet. Archie closed the door behind you while you felt around on the wall for a light switch. You flipped on the switch and he immediately gasped sharply.

“Is it that bad?” you asked. You couldn’t being yourself to look in the mirror yet.

“No… I mean it’s…” He tried to think of some consolation to give, unsuccessfully. “Yeah, it is that bad.”

You hesitantly turned to face the mirror, squinting enough to delay the inevitable. Your eyes sprung open and you found that yes, it truly was that bad.

“Oh my god.”

“I told you.”

“This shirt ruined! How am I supposed to wear this for the rest of the night?”

“Well, you did say you wanted to find another drink. I guess it found you first,” You looked at him in the mirror and rolled your eyes. “And I did warn you to stay away from the jungle juice” he laughed getting a closer look at the stain.

You turned to him and sighed, “I have to go home. There’s no way I can walk around like this.” You still didn’t like parties, and this was no exception, but you were actually getting to hang out with Archie alone. This was just your luck.

“Take my shirt,” He blurted out, rather loudly.

“Take your shirt? Like the one you’re wearing right now? Arch as much as I’m sure that every girl at this party would love to see you walking around shirtless, neither of us are at that point of drunkenness yet.”

“It’s fine. Even if you’re got my jersey, I’ve still got my letterman,” he countered, already peeling off his jacket and throwing it on the floor. “It’s not like I’ll be completely shirtless.” You thought about this for a moment before hesitantly nodding your head in agreement. You really didn’t want this night to end just yet. Plus, shirtless Archie.

You took off your stained t-shirt and threw it in the trash, no stain remover was powerful enough to work on that jungle juice. You stood awkwardly in just your plain black bra. You definitely had cuter, but you hadn’t planned on anyone, especially not Archie, seeing you shirtless tonight. Archie pulled off his jersey leaving both of you half naked. And let me tell you he was built with a capital B. Just as he was handing you the jersey, the bathroom door flings open. It seems neither of you had remembered to lock it in the chaos of the dark.

Kevin Keller stumbled into the room, clearly at least a little bit intoxicated. It took him a second but when he finally realized what he had walked into, at least what it looked like he had walked into, his eyes widened dramatically taking in the scene. It was understandable. You were sure this looked a lot worse than it really was.

“Oops!” he exclaimed.

“Kevin, it’s really not what it looks like,” you tried to explain to him with your hands out in front of you as if trying to calm a wild animal.

“Don’t even worry about it you guys. Your secret’s safe with me,” he tried to wink at you but the alcohol in his system just turned it into a sloppy blink. This sentiment did nothing to ease your concern. Kevin was not the person people told secrets to. Kevin was the person people told when they wanted the whole town to know something.

Archie tried to stop him too, “No, Kevin man, it’s not like that. Her shirt just-“

“Hey, you don’t have to explain yourselves to me. I always knew Archie - Y/n would happen. Don’t you worry about a thing. My lips are sealed.” He stumbled out of the bathroom and Archie quickly shut the door behind him, locking it this time.

You both stood in an awkward silence for a few seconds, neither of you knowing exactly what to say.

After about 30 seconds you asked already knowing the answer, “He’s definitely going to go tell Betty and Veronica about this, right?”

“I’m sure they already know.”

You nodded your head and took the jersey from his hand. He slung on the jacket and waited for you. You pulled his jersey over your head. It was big on you but not too big. It smelled like Archie. It felt right. He opened the door and you followed him out of the room, only for him to stop abruptly. You ran into him and then peered over his shoulder at what had stopped him. Who else but Cheryl Blossom joined by Josie at her side.

“Well, well, well. What do we have here?” she said in her Cheryl way, her eyes scanning up and down. “The quarterback and the rando hooking up at a party together. How cliché. Doesn’t this feel like a bad 80’s rom-com?”

Josie joined in, “Who’s Molly Ringwald in this situation?”

“I’m like Breakfast Club Molly Ringwald and Y/n’s like Sixteen Candles Molly Ringwald. That makes Archie Jake Ryan!”

Neither of you had the patience to try and explain the situation to her. Archie grabbed your hand pulling you in the other direction down the hallway. “It’s been a pleasure as usual Cheryl,” he yelled behind him.

Over the blaring music, you could just make out her say “Or maybe she’s more Pretty in Pink Molly Ringwald…”

He pulled you through a different part if the house to a patio where a few random couples were making out. They were taking up all the seating and he scratched his head not knowing where to go.

“Why don’t we just sit in the grass?” you suggested. You walked over to a far part of the lawn that was dark but still lit by the moon. The music was muffled and distant, present enough that would could have private conversation, but still muted. He sat down crisscross applesauce style and you followed suit, chuckling to yourself. You both sat with your forearms resting on your knees, leaving only a couple of inches between each other.

“We’re finally alone.” He stated quietly, sounding satisfied. The moon lit up half of his face and his fiery locks glinted as he tilted his head.

“Yeah, that’s why I come to parties. To be alone. Just me and two-hundred of my closest friends.” You breathed sarcastically.

He grinned at your reply. He looked at you for a moment. Just really looked at you. He was really seeing you.

He looked away timidly, “You look good in my jersey you know.”

You raised an eyebrow, “Yeah?” He nodded his head. You considered how to reply. “Well I guess I’m just gonna have to try out for the football team then.”

“Or,” He leaned in even closer, “alternatively,” his lips just centimeters from yours, “you could just…” He pressed his lips to yours, lightly but passionately, like it was something he’d been wanting to do for a long time. His lips were soft and it felt right, he felt right. It only lasted a couple of seconds but it felt like forever, in a good way. He pulled back and all you could both do was grin at each other.

All of a sudden, a mess of loud yelling coming from the house caught both of your attention. “Woo!!!” “Oh yeah!!!” “Get it!!!” “Hashtag Archie-Y/n!!!” Veronica and Betty were hanging out of a window calling out to the two of you. You looked up at the sky in embarrassment and Archie just shook his head at them, laughing. They pumped their fists and chanted “OTP, OTP, OTP…”

Archie stood up and put his hand out to pull you up, “Do you wanna go to Pop’s? Or anywhere that isn’t right here?” “Gladly,” you agreed, “I hate parties.”

“That’s enough!”, Scott yelled, “You two have been going at it for weeks and it’s starting to get annoying”

“It’s just starting?”, Stiles let out

Scott glared at his best friend before he could continue to chastise Theo and I. Ever since he tried to have Scott killed, I’ve wanted nothing more than to bury him. In the end, he did help us defeat the Dread Doctors, but that didn’t mean I’d just start trusting him.

“She started all of this. It’s not my fault!”, Theo yelled back

“Just like it wasn’t your fault Scott died!?”, I countered

“How many times do I have to apologize? I’m so-”

“Your apologies don’t mean shi-”

“Enough!”, Scott yelled again, his eyes beginning to glow. I knew better then to start yelling again, but this argument was far from over. No one should trust Theo.

“(Y/N) I know this is difficult for you to accept, but he’s a part of our pack now. And Theo, you need to give it time. I’m aware that you two have a history, but somehow you’ll work through it”, Scott reasoned

“That’s not even the reason why!”

“How about some time alone?”, Stiles suggested

Theo groaned, then shook his head, “No, not a good idea”

“You’re right! It’s a great idea”, Scott grins, “Meet me in my room”

I grimaced as Theo smiled politely and led the way. Once we reached his room, Theo plopped down on the bed and made himself at home.

“What?”, he sighed when I glared in his direction

Before I could tear him a new one, Scott and Stiles entered the bedroom with a familiar sac in Stiles’ hand.

“We’ve decided to go on the mission without you”, Scott finally says

“What?”, we yelled in unison

“We don’t need this many people for it anyway. Stiles and I can handle this”

“What if you need backup?”, Theo fired back

“We have a hellhound, banshee, and two betas. In case you forgot”, Stiles replied

“What makes you think we’ll stay put?”, I nearly yelled as Stiles walked closer to the door

He faced my direction as a giant grin spread across his face. Scott quickly grabbed my right wrist and handcuffed it to his headboard, then moved out the door. I frantically pulled my wrist to and fro trying to get out of it.

“Scott!”

“Whoa, calm down sweetheart. You might hurt yourself”, Theo said trying to get me to relax, “You know handcuffs won’t work on me. So I might as well leave”

As he began to stand, Stiles dumped the contents of the sac in a line front of the door.

Wolfsbane.

“I doubt you will be anytime soon”, Stiles replied, “Try not to break anything kids”

“Scott be reasonable!”

“I am being reasonable! We’re a team and we need to stick together. Whatever is going on between the two of you you need to work through it. We shouldn’t be gone too long. Don’t destroy my room either”, he said as he shut the door and left the house, effectively trapping Theo and I inside

“Sooooo…:”, I let out to break the silence

“Don’t”, he quickly said, “No small talk”

“Oh so I take it you’re in charge now?”

“Someone should be”, he mumbles

“Aww is someone still mad they aren’t the alpha?”, I smirked as Theo got off the bed to put some distance between us

“Will you quit bringing that up!?”, he shouted

“Why would I do that? You came along and pulled our pack apart piece by piece. Scott died, Lydia was stuck in Eichen House, you blackmailed Stiles-”

“Stop!”

Theo stood near the bed with his hands balled into fists, the rise and fall of his chest slightly increasing.

“And you took Hayden from Liam. All because you crave power! Was it really worth it Theo?”

“Be. Quiet”, he sneered

“It must have been worth while since you still ended up on the side of the good guys. Even though it doesn’t wipe away all the bad you’ve done”, I finished

Theo began to tremble as if he was going to break down right in front of me. His eyes flashed yellow and blood dripped from his clenched fist. I’m sure it hurts, but I really don’t care enough to say anything.

“You’re never going to trust me are you?”, he asked quietly

“Not in this lifetime”, I replied, “If you get these cuffs off me, I can break the seal and we’ll never speak of this again”

“No”, he was pacing back and forth, “We’re going to get through this like he said. I know this will take a while, but that’s a risk I’ll have to take”

He was either crazy or cared too much about what happened between us.

“You’re still angry”, he continued, “I know it’s my fault that you’re hurting. Believe me I want to make it up to you, if you’ll let me”

This was a side of Theo I didn’t get to see often. He felt bad for being an ass and wanted to be forgiven.

“No”, I said hesitantly, “You’ve said that before and it didn’t end so well”

He lowered his head and let out a frustrated groan.

“I didn’t know they would take you. If I had known I would have left a while ago”, he said softly

“The only reason you decided to help our pack was because they took me. What if they didn’t? Would you still have helped or let us suffer? You make terrible decisions and I’m always going to be the one to pay for them”

“The Dread Doctors used you to get to me. They thought if they got you out the way, I would be compliant, but it only made things worse. The thought of them harming you drove me crazy and I knew it was all my fault. I stopped at nothing to make sure you would be safe”

He hesitantly moved closer to me and sat on the bed.

“I didn’t mean to hurt you (Y/N). I thought I was doing the right thing until you were kidnapped. Out of all the crap that has been going on you’re the only thing that makes sense and I can’t lose you. That’s why I stayed”

“Why should I believe you?”

“Honestly, you shouldn’t. You have no reason to, but I want to work on us. Find a way to right my wrongs with everyone and that starts with you sweetheart”

He’s never been this forward with me. It was a start and I did miss spending time with him. The late nights. The kissing. God the kissing. It drives me crazy just thinking about it. He leaned forward, his face inches from mine. He was lingering in front of me, eyeing my lips down to my neck and chest. His hands ran slowly up my arms up to my wrists. They ran across the handcuffs, but he didn’t take them off. Confusion spread across my face as he smiled.

Theo moved so he was sitting between my legs and unbuttoned my shirt. As he got closer, he ran the tip of his nose along my neck, I let out a moan. He kissed up my neck as his hand trailed down sliding into my leggings. I couldn’t stop the sounds escaping my mouth. The tip of his finger brushed across my clit and I pulled against the restraints. He smirked as he saw my reaction and began moving his finger in slow circles, but soon picked up the pace. My back arched from against the headboard. He positioned two fingers at my entrance and slowly pushed them in.

“(Y/N) you’re soaked”, he groaned as he finally started to pull out, then push them back in. His fingers went in farther until he found my spot. My legs shook uncontrollably as he continued to rub his fingers against it. Theo kissed me to silence my screams, but soon moved away to watch my reaction. I was getting closer and closer to the edge when he pulled his fingers out and licked them clean.

“Theo please”, I groaned

“Not yet sweetheart”, he smirked as he pulled off my leggings and threw my panties aside

He lowered himself between my legs and softly bit the insides of my thighs. He moved at a painstakingly slow pace as he teased me. Finally, he leaned forward and rubbed the tip of his tongue in circles on my clit. I wanted to keep myself from screaming too loud as I pulled the restraints once again.

“Theo”, I moaned as he wrapped his lips around my clit and sucked gently

His hand yanked my bra down and he rolled my nipple between my fingers. My core began to throb as my moans got louder, then he pulled away with a grin.

“You can’t get too loud, you might wake the neighbors”, he winked

Before I could respond, his lips were on mine once again. He pulled away and his pants and boxers were on the floor. He stroked himself as he stared into my eyes.

“I should have asked you before. Are you okay with this?”, he asked hesitantly

“Yes”, I gasped, “I want this. I want you”

“Thank God because this would have turned out so awkward”, he laughed

His laugh was infectious and I felt myself smiling at him once again.

He leaned over me once more, positioning himself between my legs. Theo pushed himself inside halfway and began to shake. He groaned at the feeling of me being wrapped around him before pushing himself in completely. It didn’t take long to adjust to his length.

He pulled back, then slowly pushed himself in again. His lips met mine once again. Everything he needed to say was in the kiss. The last thing I expected was to have Theo between my legs this evening.

My legs began to tremble. He may have been taking his time, but I could feel my release slowly building up. Just when I thought I reach an orgasm again, he pulled away.

“Are you trying to kill me?”, I gasped

When grinned at me I knew I was in trouble. He lifted one of my legs up, then slammed into me. I barely had enough time to adjust, let alone get a word out. As he continued his pace, I was far from able to form a coherent sentence.

He moved his hand to get a hold of my waist at an angle. As he began to hit my spot again, I let out another moan, barely able to control myself. By now I was screaming his name.

Theo leaned down to kiss my neck when I heard him growling softly in my ear. He couldn’t control himself either. I pushed my hips up to meet his pace and he growled even louder.

“(Y/N) I’m so close”, he groaned

The look on my face told it all. With my movements matching his torturous pace and his lips on my neck, I was pushed over the edge and Theo quickly followed suit. He collapsed on top of me trying to catch his breath.

Soon the cuffs were broken and we scrambled to put our clothes on once we heard the front door open. Theo and I smiled as we raced to put Scott’s bed back together. As soon as we finished, the door pushed open.

“We’re back”, Stiles called as he broke the seal

Scott hesitantly stepped into his room and looked around, “You took her cuffs off”

“Yeah. They weren’t needed…after a while”, Theo said, a knowing grin spreading across his room

Scott paused again, then breathed in. His eyes widened as his gaze landed on the both of us holding hands.

“Did you two…in my bed!?”

Stiles doubled over in laughter, “I never saw that coming”

“Scott, I never planned on this happening, but one thing led to another and…”, Theo stated

“Look in the bright side. We get along now. Isn’t that what you wanted?”, I said grinning from ear to ear

Scott opened his mouth, but nothing came out as he glared at the both of us.

“Babe”, Theo said as he squeezed my hand, “We should run”

With that being said he pulled me out of Scott’s room and run like hell with Scott chasing right behind us.

When we make it to the top of the trail and the edge of the parking lot, Steve looks to me with a shocked and unsure shrug, lifting his hands up in question. She barely speaks to anyone, only muttering a disgruntled, “Trunk, please” to Steve.

Once we’ve changed into dry clothes, Y/N tosses her now useless phone haphazardly into the trunk and grabs for her dated Atlas before slipping into the car without a word. She doesn’t move closer to me, she doesn’t look up from her Atlas. Goddamn it. She’s so upset. “Go left,” she instructs with a heavy sigh as she flips through the pages until she finds the map for South Dakota. She traces over an already marked road until it reaches the end of the page, before moving quickly over to Wyoming.

Two weeks. It had been two weeks since you and Jungkook had started the break. You didn’t want to admit it but you had spent all of the time up until now laying in bed, and trying to disappear within the covers. You didn’t want to see the outside world if it meant you would have to remember his absence.

As much as you wanted to call Jungkook and tell him to come home, you were too stubborn. There was a small part of you that wouldn’t let your fingers punch in the familiar number. He wasn’t as strong though. He had called you everyday and left you with countless voicemails, all of them telling you how much he loved you and that he was truly sorry.

He hadn’t missed a single day.

Of course he was still doing promotions and working with the guys, but he was messaging you and calling you whenever he got the chance, and it made your heart hurt. You wanted to answer every time the phone rang, but you didn’t. It wasn’t until a different ringtone started playing that you actually grabbed the device and pressed answer.

“Hello.” You answered quietly.

“Hi.” His voice sent shivers down your spine and you were so dumb as to not expect him to try something like this. He had before, and yet you had fallen for it again.

“You have to stop calling me from Jimin’s phone or else soon I’m not going to pick up and he’s going to be pissed at me.” You replied, sitting up slightly in bed and resting your back against the pillows. You didn’t want to admit it but it felt good to hear his laugh come over the line.

“I’m sorry, I had to hear your voice. I thought I was going to go insane.” He replied. Your fingers played with the edge of your blanket so as to try and distract you from the fluttering in your chest. It didn’t matter what he said, he could be reading the script of the bee movie and you would still find yourself distracted by his voice.

“You’re a twit, you know that right?” You questioned, trying to goof around a little bit. Jungkook chuckled slightly and you could tell that he wasn’t completely there. “How are thing’s going with the guys? They’re being nice right?”

Unwanted Attention

Hi guys! This has been in my drafts for ages and I completely forgot about it until yesterday! Hope you enjoy. :)

Plot: Harry has this one friend who loves hitting on Y/N.

Warnings: Curse words and handsy moments while dancing. Nothing smutty and nothing violent though.

There was something off about Jordan. His icy blue eyes followed my movements like a hawk observing his prey and when he noticed me staring back at him he flashed me one of his sleazy grins. He was a handsome guy, there was no denying that, but from the moment he’d been introduced to me I could sense that he simply wasn’t one to take a hint. It wasn’t even about me being too pretty and him just finding me irresistible, not by any means. It was that Jordan couldn’t bear a girl not wanting him. His brain simply couldn’t comprehend how I hadn’t fallen to his feet yet. I shuddered under his sharp eyes and shrunk further into the warmth of Harry’s side. Harry didn’t look at me but responded by resting his arm around my shoulders and leaning his head against mine momentarily while chuckling along to one of Nick’s jokes, giving me comfort without having even noticed that I needed it. My eyes found Jordan’s once more and my heart dropped when he was still grinning, wider this time and with his brows raised. Almost as if he was trying to say that he accepted the challenge.

Harry laughed loudly, squeezing me to him and I straightened my posture staring back at Jordan confidently. My hand rested on Harry’s chest, the other arm wrapped around his back and my temple leaned against his arm. I was saying something back clearly. The only reason I was here was Harry and Jordan could fuck off.

….

It was a friday night what naturally meant that Harry wanted to go out. From the moment I opened the door for him to enter my apartment he’d been talking about nothing else other than this bar which had only just opened in East London. Thanks to his ever charming soul he’d become friends with the owner and owned one of the few invitations to the opening party tonight.

“You’ve got to come with me,” Harry insisted, “Nick and Jordan are coming, too.”

“Sounds like a guy’s night out then,” I murmured, trying to decline his proposal as nicely as I could, “I don’t think I should intervene, Harry.”

“As if you’d intervene,” Harry said quickly, rolling his eyes as if I was being completely absurd, “You couldn’t possibly. C'mon, love, you’ve got to!”

Honestly, a night out with Harry sounded perfect. I loved seeing him dance, hearing him sing and laughing along to all of the silly puns tipsy Harry could come up with. We had spent many fun nights out together, starting with him helping me choose a dress and me painting his nails and ending with the both of us dropping on either his or my bed, too drunk to care about sleeping in our cloths and in each other’s arms.
Harry was the best company and every moment I got to spend with him was one I treasured. I didn’t like having to avoid Harry in order to avoid Jordan, but he’d already invited him and no matter my feelings for Harry, his friend truly was the last person I wanted to spend my night with. But at the same time… ugh.
I groaned and let my head fall back onto the couch, turning to look at Harry who was sprawled out next to me. He wore a hopeful look, his sparkling eyes wide and his lips set in a pout.

“Please,” he whined, “Nick’s been bugging me by calling you ‘Harry’s best friend who never turns up’ and he’s kinda right with it.”

“Oh shut up,” I laughed.

He rolled onto his side and began pulling at my arm, making me lay down as well so we were both facing each other. I hummed when his hand found mine so he could move his thumb over my palm in a soothing motion and I smiled at him lovingly, enjoying to just be able to appreciate him without him noticing, his gaze set on my fingers. His forehead was furrowed and his lips still in a pout, his expression resembling the one of a little boy who failed to understand something.

“We don’t even have to stay long,” Harry mumbled, focus still on my hand, “let’s just go, please.”

“Ugh,” I groaned and let my head drop against his shoulder in defeat, “fine.”

“Yehi!” Harry cheered, surprising me by jumping up with a sudden energy bolt and he threw himself onto my body, not caring one bit that his weight was crushing me.

His lips met the skin of my cheek in a loud kiss and I grimaced, batting his face away while laughing.

“It’s going to be great, you’ll see,” Harry promised, his cheeks stretched in a wide and confident grin.

I smiled and chuckled at how happy and cheery Harry was all of a sudden, but at the same time I couldn’t help a tiny pang of guilt in my tummy. He was thrilled to be going out and looked forward to spending the night with his friends and all I could think about was how this meant I would practically be exposed for Jordan to ogle me all night, silently undressing me with his eyes.
I watched Harry laugh as he went on with a story Jeff had told him and I wrapped my arms around his chest, cuddling into his side and I made a point of humming whenever it fit, letting him know that I was listening. Maybe tonight wouldn’t be all bad, I thought as I noticed the crinkles around his eyes and breathed in his familiar smell. After all, I wouldn’t be alone.

….

The alcoholic liquid left a heavy taste on my tongue and wrapped my head in a cloudy daze making me dizzy momentarily. My throat burned and I mentally cursed Harry for making me engage in his stupid drinking games. Still, I set the empty glass down only seconds after Harry smashed his own onto the countertop, scoring in second. Harry cheered and let his dimples show when he grinned widely and he held out his hand to high five me just when Jordan and Nick finished their shots too.

“I’d say we all know who’s the winner,” Harry announced proudly with a drop of tequila running down his chin and Nick rolled his eyes.

The bar was as crowded as I had expected it to be on a friday night, causing people to stumble into me whenever someone tried to reach the bar. The music was loud and everyone around us was dancing and laughing, enjoying the relaxed atmosphere of the building. So far Harry had been right, at least up until a few minutes ago. We’d been drinking good drinks and my tummy ached from laughing so hard at his stupid jokes, so it was hard to deny I was having fun. The best thing was that Jordan hung out with a group of girls for most of the night so far, only joining us minutes ago when he was done bathing in the girl’s attention. I’d lowered my gaze under Jordan’s watchful eyes and had hoped he’d just leave again.
Harry had stayed oblivious to me scooting a little closer to him and so had Nick. Only Jordan had noticed and his eyes had narrowed, never letting me out of sight.

“Such a show off, Styles,” Nick laughed and playfully pushed Harry by his shoulder, “Your victory was a close call between you and your bestie over there so don’t get too cocky.”

“I’m aware,” Harry laughed and send me a proud smile.

I giggled and shrugged, fist-pumping Harry.
He looked incredibly handsome, especially with the newly gained growth of his hair, the stubborn curls already fighting their way back. I knew he missed the length of his hair, but I secretly loved the short strands crowning his head. They were less likely to shield his pretty face from my view. Though I admired him for his effortless attractiveness, it bugged me how he could pull off anything and looked good even with his typical jeans and dad-shirt look. Everything suited him, which was surely caused by his confidence.

“But that’s on me, too,” Harry continued proudly, pushing our used shot glasses together so he could pick them all up in both of his massively big hands, “Who do you think taught her?”

Nick raised both arms with a laugh and looked at me for confirmation. A giggle fell from my mouth at the memory of Harry spending the night at my place many months ago, the counter of my kitchen littered with shot glasses and different spirit bottles as he lectured me on how it was my tongue’s fault that I couldn’t do it right. He’d even argued that the muscle in my mouth must have been to big and that I’d need to move it to the side more. The result of me trying had been a stained shirt and wet chest and of course a laughing Harry, but at least I was good at it now.

“S'true,” I agreed, “You won’t admit it but your instructions only worked 'cause I’m a talented student.”

Harry laughed. “Oh, so my teaching skills are shit, then? S'that what you’re trying to tell me?”

I was about to reply when Jordan’s rough voice interrupted us in a snarl, “Jesus Christ we get it. You guys are fucking each other just stop bullshitting us.”

He rolled his eyes, no humor in his expression and he seemed as if he was completely done with Harry and me. I shook my head and wanted to bite something back, but reconsidered and stayed silent. Harry had been so excited to spend time with his friends, I didn’t want to ruin it by starting a fight.

“Oh, piss off, Jordan,” Harry scoffed with a laugh.

“Oi,” Nick called, raising his brows at me with a teasing grin on his face, “What did I miss?”

He looked at me expectantly as if I was about to tell him the greatest story he’d ever heard. I gave him a playful push back.

“You guys,” I began, “are assholes.”

Harry chuckled, shaking his head, “I’ll get us another round.”

He nodded to the other end of the bar where all of the bartenders were gathered and turned to walk towards it, taking the glasses with him. How the hell could he fit them all in both of his hands? Thinking the same, Nick was quick to offer help and so he was gone and after Harry before I could beg him to stay.
Well… fuck. I was left in the exact situation I’d hoped I wouldn’t be in, one I’d dreaded so much it had made me want to avoid coming here in the first place. Already I could feel Jordan’s creepy vibe on me almost like a haze covering my body and my skin prickled. Silently I climbed to sit on Harry’s barstool, hoping to get away with distracting myself by my phone and to avoid any conversation with the unpleasant guy until my friends returned.

Jordan seemed to have other plans.

“You’re ignoring me now?” Jordan laughed mockingly, “Really? That’s ridiculous of you, doll.”

I tensed at the nickname and bit the inside of my cheek, then I turned off my phone and met Jordan’s eyes. You’re a prick, my head screamed at him and my hands clenched in need to smack his stupid grin off his face.

“How about we just wait in silent for Nick and Harry to come back?” I asked, my voice surprising me with a lot more confidence than I’d anticipated.

Jordan laughed once more, throwing his head back. “Well, I’m a rather vocal guy. You’d know if you’d quit playing hard to get and just give in to me.”

I visibly cringed and jerked back from the guy when he scooted closer, leaning into me so there were only few centimeters separating us. He picked up the abandoned beer bottle he’d been sipping on throughout the night and took two more gulps, allowing his eyes to stay fixated on me. Again he resembled so much a hawk who had found his prey of choice and was not going to stop before he got it.

“So,” He began, voice now sweet like honey, “You’re hooking up with him now, huh?”

I but my lip at the mention of Harry and shrugged his words off with a muttered “no”, raising my head to search for Nick and Harry in the crowd, hoping to see them on their way back. Unfortunately they hadn’t even reached the bartenders yet and when I looked back at Jordan, I could tell we were thinking the same thing. I’d be alone for a while with no one coming to save me.

“Looks like they’re going to be gone for quite a bit,” Jordan commented and he grinned at me, exposing his perfectly white teeth, “would be a shame if we just sat here moping, wouldn’t it?”

“I’m good,” I replied calmly, hoping he would let it go which of course he didn’t.

Jordan stepped closer, titled his head to the side and looked at me closely, similar to how a costumer checks the meat at the butcher’s when selecting what to have. My breath hitched when his fingers rested on my knee and he chuckled, moving them in a scratching motion and squeezing every now and again, making sure he prevented me from moving away. His tongue slipped out, wetting his lips and I pushed his hand away forcefully, only for him to grasp my wrist.

“C'mon,” he announced, pulling me from the stool and to my feet in a swift yank, “If Harry can teach you how to drink with a man, I’ll show you how to dance with one.”

Waiting for an answer or my consent seemed to be a waste of time to him and before I could react he’d pulled me off my stool and away from the bar. Soon we were surrounded by sweating and moving bodies, the music over here so loud I could feel the beat drum through my body. Jordan pulled me further and deeper into the crowd of humping people until he seemed satisfied with our location, far away from the counter to which Harry would return to soon. Jordan came to a swift halt and turned around to face me, releasing my wrist but encircling my waist so quickly I couldn’t move away. His arms tightened and he hummed, pulling me into his body so my chest was pressed against his. My hands settled onto his waist and I tried to push him off with as much strength as I could muster, yet I failed. His skin was hot and sweaty beneath my fingertips and I shuddered upon feeling his breath at my throat when he leaned in. His head pressed against mine and his fingers squeezed my hips.

“Jordan,” I urged into his ear, “let me go.”

Panic started to crawl through every vein of my body until I went rigid and my skin was littered with goosebumps. My throat was dry and all my brain screamed at me to do was to get out of the situation, to run away and hide from this gross man. Only how? His hold on me was too forceful and tight I had no chance of fighting him off. The only people who could help me were Harry and Nick and they had no idea where I was and would surely not be able to spot me in the sea of people either.
Ignoring my request, Jordan grabbed my hips tighter, his hold almost bruising and I gasped in shock when he began to move his own hips forward in a rough thrust, allowing our crotches to meet. I squealed and flinched back immediately, only to be pulled forward and held against Jordan’s body.

“C'mon, babe,” he laughed and repeated the movement of his hips, “Bet you’d let Harry have a go, huh? Why not me? S'it 'cause I’m not as rich as him? Or famous? Trust me babe, I can show you a better time, you’ll see.”

My stomach sunk and I shook my head. Unwanted tears shot to my eyes and spilled over when he moved both arms so he could rest his hands on my back, pushing me against his own body and moving me so I was forced to dance with him. He treated me like I was a doll and that sickened me more than anything.

“Let go,” I demanded, my voice now nothing more than a weak whimper, “You’re hurting me.”

To my great luck one of the girls dancing around us slipped in that moment and tumbled into Jordan, catching him off guard and knocking him right off of me. His arms loosened and I took my chance to push them away before fighting my way through the mass of people and away from him as fast as I my feet could carry me. I didn’t care how ridiculous I must have looked and didn’t stop until my eyes landed on the familiar and comforting sight of Harry and Nick standing at the bar where they’d expected me to wait for them. Neither of them saw me coming and when Harry looked up I had already thrown myself at him, embracing his shoulders tightly.

“Wow,” Harry laughed and Nick chuckled, but I didn’t react and only pushed my face closer into Harry’s warm neck in an attempt at shutting everything around me out.

My body was still trembling and I swallowed repeatedly to keep stop crying. Only now did it truly sink in how forceful Jordan’s hands had been as I felt his hold on my skin as if it was still there. The skin tingled and burned. Surprised by my sudden neediness Harry wrapped his arms around me loosely and leaned his head against mine, allowing his nose to run along my cheek. With him it didn’t feel threatening or harsh, quite the opposite. With simple touches and without intending it, Harry calmed my distraught emotions.

“What’s wrong?” Harry asked with a gentle hum, amusement clear in his tone.

I just shook my head and loosened my hold on him reluctantly, only enough to not be strangling him. Harry pulled me into his side and held me there, smiling down at me with warmth in his green orbs.

“Where were you anyway?” Nick chuckled in, “We go get drinks for you guys and you reward us by disappearing.”

“There she is!”

Jordan’s voice roared from my right and I whimpered quietly, scooting further into Harry’s arms and away from Jordan. My head turned into his direction and I caught him staring at me with piercing eyes.

“Back with your lover,” he spoke in a chuckle, shaking his head, “fucking perfect.”

My face burned and I clenched my hands into fists. “Go fuck yourself, Jordan.”

Nick’s eyes widened at my sudden outburst and raised voice and he stepped closer. I could feel Harry’s fingers curl against my bare back, yet he didn’t loosen his hold. Instead he turned his body so he was facing Jordan as well and when I looked up his jaw was set and his eyes narrow, yet not at me but at Jordan.

“You guys what is going on?” Nick demanded to know.

Jordan faced Harry’s hard stare. “Have fun with her, I’m done.”

“Excuse me?” Harry demanded perplexed, though I could hear a hint of anger and his body froze.

I let my hand drop and rest against Harry’s chest, earning his attention and shaking my head at him. “Leave it.”

Jordan sighed exasperatedly and rolled his eyes once more. “I need a drink. Let me know when you’re done gawking at each other.”

He stormed off before either of us had a chance to reply. Nick turned to me and Harry let go of his hold so he could look at me as well. Their expression said the same. What on earth had just happened?

“Bloody hell,” Nick blurted, “What was that all about?”

My cheeks still burned and I closed my eyes, brushing against the heated skin of my face as I tried to collect my thoughts and form a proper sentence, one that wouldn’t send Harry off and after Jordan.

“We danced,” I began timidly.

“Yeah, we figured that much,” Nick nodded, “And? What set him off? Your lack of sense for rhythm?”

“Nick,” Harry barked and the smile faded on Nick’s face, slowly realizing the seriousness of the situation.

“Well,” I cleared my throat, “I didn’t exactly want to dance. He sort of made me and I got really uncomfortable after he wouldn’t let go and once he did I came back here. That must have pissed him off.”

“He made you dance?” Harry inquired, his eyes hardened and he held his breath, “How?”

I looked at him hesitantly and bit my lip. There was no easy or harmless way of saying this so I stayed silent all together. Honestly, I felt bad. Though Jordan hadn’t been part of Harry’s friendship group for long, I knew he liked him and me having a problem with Jordan would complicate things.
Harry’s tongue slipped out, wetting his lips. Suddenly his attention fell down to where his hand had subconsciously taken ahold of my wrist. Something in his expression changed and my chest felt tight. Harry’s worried gaze met mine momentarily, then he raised my arm up so he could get a closer look of my skin. One glance sufficed.

Harry’s fingers interlocked with mine and he gave them a gentle squeeze, his eyes full of sudden sadness and set on my face, silently communicating that he was sorry. My eyes watered and I bit the inside of my cheek, my own fingers squeezing his hand reassuringly. It wasn’t Harry’s fault.

“I’m going to kill him,” Harry promised me, voice stern and his eyes wide, “I promise.”

“Wha-” Nick began but Harry interrupted him.

“Her wrist is red, Nick! That’ll bruise for sure! Where else did he touch you, Y/N? Does it hurt?”

“Maybe my hip,” I replied hesitantly, tightening my grip on his hand.

A small noise left Harry’s mouth and he responded by wrapping me into a hug.

“I’m so sorry,” he repeated quietly into my ear, his breath tickling my neck.

“And that was Jordan?” Nick asked form behind me, “I never knew he was such a prick.”

“I did,” I muttered into Harry’s chest, my words quiet but he heard.

Harry’s hands set on my ribs and he slowly pushed me off, careful to be tender. When my eyes met his I shuddered. He looked incredibly angry.

“Are you saying he’s done that before?” Harry growled.

“No,” I replied quickly, “But… he’d stare. Longer than he needed to and especially when I’m with you he wouldn’t stop. And whenever you guys would leave he’d make stupid innuendos.”

Harry shook his head, sighing and closing his eyes momentarily. “I should have noticed.”

A frown took over his face and he pouted, adapting his child-like look and I couldn’t fight the smile from crawling onto my face. I reached out one hand and squeezed his arm.

“Don’t be silly, Harry.”

Nick watched us observantly and nodded. “He’s right though. We should have payed more attention. And I was the one who brought him around for the first time, too. I’m sorry.”

“Wait 'till I get my fingers on him,” Harry promised, his eyes fierce as they locked with mine, “He has no right to so much as think of you in that way, let alone touch you. I won’t have it.”

His head shot up and his eyes searched for Jordan’s face. I shook my head and stepped closer to him, raising both hands to his cheeks so I could guide his head and force him to look at me.

“Harry, leave it, okay?” I spoke sternly, “Please. I’m fine, I swear.”

“Fine?” Harry barked, “Your skin is red! Because of him! Y/N if you think I will just stand by while some dick mistreats you then you’re wrong. I will-”

“No, you won’t,” I interrupted, “It doesn’t matter anymore. He’s gone. And in the future you’ll know not to leave me alone with him.”

“As if I’d let him near you again.” Harry rolled his eyes and shot Nick a warning look when he began to quietly laugh behind us.

“Jesus, Harry. Don’t go all caveman on us.”

I turned to look back at Nick and smiled at his big grinned expression. My hands moved down Harry’s arms and I let one of them linger and grasp Harry’s fingers. Nick noticed my action and his face lighted up.

“Let me deal with Jordan,” he proposed, looking at Harry, “And you take your girl home, yeah?”

Harry shifted his weight from foot to foot and raised a brow at his friend, then he sighed and let this thumb caress my wrist.

“You tell him to never come around us again,” Harry commanded sternly, but something in his tone had changed and I could sense that he was calmer now, “Or else I’ll fucking ruin him.”

“Want me to quote you on that?” Nick laughed but nodded, then he leaned in to kiss my cheek softly before making his way into the direction Jordan had taken earlier.

Harry looked after him with almost an envious expression and I clenched my fingers around him, trying to get his attention back.

“Please,” I quietly begged, “Just take me home.”

My eyes pleaded with his and Harry bit harshly into his pink bottom lip. He sighed and frowned at me, saying: “Are you sure that you don’t want me to go after him?”

“Yes,” I answered without a pause for a thought, “Please.”

“Alright.”

….

Harry’s hand felt good in my own, this I had to admit. He was warm, soft and knew without me having to say when I needed him to hold on tighter.
We’d slipped out of the club without saying goodbye to any of the people who’d recognized Harry and had hurried to catch a cab on the busy Londoner street, which lucky for us wasn’t difficult. On the backseat was where I’d allowed myself to drop any of the boundaries I normally lived by when I was in public with Harry and instead had crawled into him without hesitating first. And he’d welcomed it. Harry’s hands had settled onto my hips and he’d leaned in to cuddle his head into my neck while I’d led my face bury itself in his chest to breathe him in.

“I’m sorry,” Harry had whispered, “You’re the most important person to me. I should have sensed that something was wrong.”

I’d shaken my head against him. “I should have said something.”

Shortly after our messy car ride we were stood in front of my home, still holding on to each other’s fingers and without any sign of letting the other go. Harry’s head was held low and I noticed how he turned my hand around so he could look at it closely. A huff fell from his lips and I shook my head.

“Don’t freak out again, please?” I asked quietly, “It’ll be okay.”

I wasn’t as shaken up about the incident anymore, Harry’s comforting nature having its usual calming effect on me. There was no denying that I had been in danger tonight with Jordan’s endless game having reached its peak but it was over now and given Harry’s reaction to his friend’s lack of manners I was sure Jordan wouldn’t be a problem any longer. Maybe I should have gone to find the girl who’d saved me by stumbling just in time.
The feeling of Harry’s mouth meeting my cheek in a tender kiss brought me back to the present and I smiled widely, humming when he let his cheek rest against my own. His eyes were squeezed shut and his hands found my waist, pulling me into his body. I breathed in his familiar scent and relaxed against him, loving to finally have him to myself.

“We should tell them,” Harry began quietly.

“Do you really think that would have stopped Jordan?” I asked with raised brows, moving back so I could look at him properly, “He’s been suspecting that there was something going on between us for ages now anyway.”

My hands took hold of his shirt’s collar and I allowed my fingers to scratch his neck.

Harry rolled his eyes. “Fucking hell. The way he kept running his mouth tonight I already thought Nick was actually going to believe him. Wanted to punch him even before you told me about what he did.”

“Don’t you think he’d rub it into our faces even more if he knew he was right all along?”

“Hm,” Harry shrugged, leaning his body into mine, making me giggle, “So you think we should just continue to hide our relationship?”

His palm cradled my face and he leaned in to connect our lips in a quick and tender kiss catching me off guard in the best way possible. He didn’t allow his mouth to linger but pulled back and looked at me with pleading eyes.

“I want them to know, Y/N,” Harry begged quietly, “Hate worrying 'bout some bloke trying something the moment I turn around 'cause he thinks you’re still single.”

I shrugged in his hold and gently scratched his chin, “I’m all for telling our friends, my love.”

My lips met the corner of his lips and I smiled softly. “But don’t feel like you have to. It’s really only been Jordan who’d behaved like a dick to me. All your other friends are fine.”

“Well, good to know,” Harry chuckled, pressing a kiss to my jaw, “Seriously though I want people to be aware of you and me dating. Maybe not the media, but at least our friends.

"They’ll never shut their mouths about it,” I predicted, wrapping both arms around Harry’s neck.

He shook his head and let his arms sneak around me and I laughed softly when he began to sway us slowly. He was so beautiful, I thought. How could Jordan ever think he’d stand a chance compared to the amazing and wonderful man in my arms?
Harry kissed my shoulder, chuckling when I squealed under the tickling feeling of his hair against my skin.

“We’re just two friends,” he began quietly, “who fell in love with each other.”

I nodded and sighed. “They’ll understand.”

Hope you enjoyed it!

With trembling hands you held your phone, walking up the same steps you had many times before. When you walked up these stairs before it was different. Before you felt this rush of excitement in your chest, you could barely wipe the smile off of your face, and you were only thinking about one thing. Jungkook, himself. The boyfriend you had loved so dearly had invited you over for something a little less than exciting. As you walked up the stairs this time you felt scared and worried about what was going to happen. You wanted to trust him in his choices but for once you wanted to be greedy and tell him he was wrong. You wanted him to push aside everything else and just hang around for one more day. One more day to tell him how much you loved him, one more day to wake up to those good morning texts, one more day to tell people he was all yours.

But you weren’t that person. You weren’t going to tell him how hard it was going to be without him and you weren’t going to cry in front of him. You weren’t going to tell him to quit his dream or even think about begging him to change his mind. You told yourself it took a lot to do that for a person. If you were willing to do anything they ask, including break up, so they could achieve their dream then you were really in deep.

A steady finger lingers its way to the doorbell and presses it down carefully. After a few seconds of hearing something shuffling from inside your face is met with a familiar one.

“Hey…” Jungkook let’s out with a saddened tone.

“Hey.”

You gave a smile despite the situation and it seemed to have caught him off guard. He took your hand to bring you into the house, taking you to his room. As he shut the door behind you, you sat down on the desk chair next to you.

“Y/N-…Damn this sucks…”

You look up at him promptly. “It’s okay, kookie. I already know the gist.”

He sits down on his bed, looking down at his lap. You can tell this was bothering him, bad.

“The company just thinks it would be best if I debuted without a girlfriend. The whole devotion to the fans sort of thing. But I promise, right now, that when we make it big i’m going to find you and make this work again.”

“Do you want to promise that though? Who knows how long that could take. Wouldn’t it just be easier on you to just let go? This whole thing means the world to you and you know that i’m not going to be the one to get in the way.”

Jungkook sighs. “I know, I know. I just need you to believe in me. It’ll take time but I’ll find you again. We agreed on no contact until then and I’m not going to ask you to wait for me if you find someone else but I’m telling you that for me I don’t think there is going to be anyone else.”

“Jungkook you don’t know that.”

He looked away from as if he was not going to fight with you about it. His foot was tapping on the hard wood flooring.

“I just wish I could do this without leaving you behind..” He mumbled.

You opened your mouth to argue the benefits of it but he surprised you with the tears welling up in his eyes. You were suddenly frozen since you’d never seen him cry in front of you before. The overwhelming urge to cry was back but you tried not to make it worse than it already was. You stood up from the chair, sitting next to him. You reached over and hugged him close to you. Your hands gently stroking the back of his neck.

“I’m sorry.” You said, not knowing what else to say as comfort.

He sits back to look at your face, with your arms still around him.

“Yeah. Me too…”

You lean up to give him a kiss but he stops you.

“As much as I want you to, please don’t. It’ll only make it worse.”

You give him a nod and stand up from the bed.

“So this is it, huh?”

Jungkook manages a nod back. “For now.”

You smile at him one more time. “Yeah, For now.”

———————————————————————

3 years later

It seemed almost like yesterday when you thought about that day. You could still remember the look on his face and the heavy mood of the room itself. Sometimes you wondered what it could have been like if you didn’t just walk away but you have to tell yourself you did the right thing. The group he ended up debuting in seemed more than successful for about a year now but you still hadn’t heard a word from him. It was strange to you on why you even started to think about this.

Maybe it was the hot weather that reminded you of the summers you spent together or maybe walking in the city reminded you of how you ran into him for the first time. You had just come to Korea and had no idea how to get to the apartment you had previously purchased. You stopped the person who seemed the nicest and even though you Korean wasn’t the best back then he walked you all the ways there. He always was the sweetest person you knew even when he pulled those dumb pranks or got competitive over the little stuff. To be honest, you loved those things about him. He’d pretend to act bratty or get on your nerves but when it came down to it he was caring. A bit strange sometimes but definitely caring.

“Excuse me, I’m a little bit lost. Do you think you can help me?” Someone asked in English from beside you.

You glance up from your phone. “Huh? Oh sure. Where do you need to go?”

The brown haired man explained in detailed a near by cafe that you had remember going to before. You tried to explain to him that it was just down the road but he insisted that you showed him. As you politely agree you can’t help but think he must be really afraid of becoming lost. If he was foreign then you could definitely relate to the feeling of not wanting to get lost in a different country.

As you two approached the cafe he stops in front of it.

“Is it okay if I buy you a cup of coffee as a thank you?” He asks.

You look at your phone to check the time.

“Uh sure. I still have another hour to spare.”

The man smiles. “Good.”

He guides you into the cafe and walks you over to a table. You assume it’s because he wants you to sit down while he gets the coffee but when you see Jungkook sitting at the table in front of you, you cover your mouth in shock. He must have asked the guy to do it as a favor.

Jungkook gives you a smile this time, bunny teeth and all.

“Hey Y/N. Have you been okay?”

Dumb ideas I have

This was a thing I came up with in response to a conversation we were having in one of my Discord servers. I don’t think I will have time to write it as a fic so posting it here instead.

Lol. I just imagine the conversation between Nino and Alya-
Nino: You know… call me crazy but I think Chat Noir was hitting on me.
Alya: What? Are you serious?
Nino: You’re right I’m probably being stupid… I mean-
Alya: YOU MUST PURSUE THIS
Nino… uhhhhh…..
Alya: It’s for the greater good Nino, THE GREATER GOOD
Nino: what greater good is that?
Alya: The greater good of the Ladyblog of course
Nino: Ah, there it is
Alya: Nino, you have been charged with an important destiny- you must seduce Chat Noir.
Nino: you aren’t going to let this go are you?

Marinette walks over: Hey guys what’s up?
Nino: Apparently I am on a sacred mission to Seduce Chat Noir.
Marinette: Like HELL YOU ARE…. I mean…. uh….
Alya: come on Mari don’t be jealous. We can’t all be hit on by celebrities
Mari grumbling under her breath: (he hits on me all the time thank you very much)

later that night-

Chat: Good evening My Lady, don’t you look stunning as always
LB: I am not speaking to you, traitor
Chat….

even later that evening-
Chat: Marinette… Ladybug is mad at me and I don’t know why!!!!
Marinette: You don’t deserve my attention you two timing tomcat. (Closes skylight)
Chat: OK WTH IS GOING ON????????

the next day-
Adrien: Hey Alya, can I talk to you for a second? Is it just me or does Marinette seem to be in a really bad mood lately?
Alya: Oh, she is just mad because she has a secret crush on Chat Noir and he is playing hard to get.
Adrien: She… WHAT?????
Alya: She has been mad ever since she found out that our resident cat boy is in love with Nino
Adrien: Seriously? It was ONE TIME, I was trying to be funny… oh no….
Alya’s face lights up with an unholy gleam of realization
Adrien: I mean, that is what I would probably say if I was Chat Noir
Alya: now you’re just embarrassing yourself catboy
Adrien: just kill me now

Later in class-
Alya: So Nino, how many times has Chat Noir flirted with you?
Nino: um… only a couple
Alya: So it was more than just the ONE TIME?
Adrien under his breath: I hate my life…
Nino: We’ll it’s not like the guy is paying midnight visits to my balcony or anything.
Marinette: HA! He totally does that to me!
Alya and Nino stare at Marinette. Adrien buries his head under his arms
Alya: … does he now. How fascinating. Why Marinette it looks like someone might have a bit of a crush on you. A Blond haired, green eyed, clearly socially inept someone

It’s a Buck Girl Thing (4/?)

Based loosely on ‘It’s a Boy Girl Thing’ (2006)

Summary: You (female reader) pine after Steve Rogers whilst Bucky is being a little shit. One night after an argument on the rooftop you wake up in each other’s bodies.

Pairing: Steve x Reader

Word count: 3.3k

Need to catch up? Here’s PART 3 or IBGT MASTERLIST

Warnings: Okay… So it starts of with SMUT - I know it’s weird to imagine yourself in Bucky’s body but I can’t see a way round it - there had to be a hand job. There’s also sexual content and swearing.

A/N: Well, riding on a wave of inspiration that hit me like a train yesterday here’s another big chapter from me. I hope this fic is still making you smile and want more?

After yet another awkward interaction with Steve, a cold shower sounded like a good option. You needed to calm down quickly, otherwise he’s only going to suspect something more serious is going on. And who knows how long you’d be able to keep up the pretences?

Physically - the cold shower seemed to help, but mentally - you still couldn’t shake off the constant dirty thoughts about Steve. Not sure how long this charade would continue, you needed to find a better way of managing your constant arousal. Maybe Bucky was right and you needed some release?

thirty days of skam fic: day fifteen
aka isak is a pizza delivery boy and even is a very charming customer

beginning. accusation. restless. leaves. rainbow. flame. formal. under. move. silver. prepared. knowledge. denial. cans. order. thanks. look. summer. transformation. tremble. tent. mad. thousand. paper. winter. luxury. letters. promise. simple. future.

[ READ ON AO3 ]

Getting a job at a crappy takeaway pizza place was probably one of the stupidest decisions of Isak’s life. He didn’t really have much of a choice, though; he really had to start earning some of his own money since his dad was always slow when Isak needed some, and the hours were flexible enough to work around college, and particularly helpfully, his flatmate was the manager, so he’d managed to get Isak the job without actually having to apply for anything.

But it’s definitely not fun work, even if Isak is getting more exercise than he ever has in his life from pedalling his bike all over the city. He just wasn’t designed for the customer service industry, he decides as he sighs and edges a little further into the back room where they keep the packaged cheese. His shift is almost up, and if he can just wait it out a few more minutes without getting put on a delivery, he can probably go home before –

“Isak! Delivery for you!”  Isak groans as Eskild’s sunny voice rings through the store cupboard, swiftly followed by his face appearing in the doorway. He tuts, “Honestly, you have to stop hiding in here.”

No. Isak likes hiding in the store cupboard.

“Can’t you send someone else?  I only have fifteen minutes left, Eskild!”

“Sorry baby, no can do. They asked for you specifically.”

Isak blinks, thinking what the hell, until Eskild is suddenly waving the order ticket  in front of his face, and – oh. Right there, in the little box on the online order form that says ‘Delivery instructions?’ someone has typed out, send the cute delivery boy.

Real Bullets

Pairing: Jensen x Reader
Words:   1211
Requested by Anonymous:  How about being an actress on the show and someone swapping out the fake bullets for real ones and one of the J’s accidentally shooting you like angst then fluff

Warning: injured reader

You were sitting on Jensen’s lap in his trailer while the two of you waited to be called onto set to film.

“I really don’t want to do that scene,” Jensen sighed.

“Why?” you asked, running your fingers through his short hair, “It’s just acting. Not like you’re really shooting me.”

“Still. I don’t like it. I don’t like that I’ll be pointing a gun at you,” he said, “It doesn’t feel right.”

“Just get your lines right and it’ll be over before you know it,” you teased him, “No worries.”

He pulled you closer, “If you say so.”

You kissed him softly, “I say so. I love you.”

          “I love you too.”

luthientinuviiels  asked:

starmora with #19 for the fic prompt thing? 😁

19. Things you said when we were the happiest we ever were.

Takes place shortly after Vol 2.

——

Peter had a black eye, scraped knuckles, bruised ribs, and a grin a mile wide.

“Did you see that guy’s face?” Rocket asked, hardly understandable through his drunken cackling. “When Drax picked him up?”

Drax let out a booming laugh. “It was quite amusing!”

Groot, who was standing on Rocket’s back where he lay face down on the floor, nearly fell over he laughed so hard.

“That was pretty funny,” Gamora admitted. Peter opened his good eye to look up at her smile.

In a rare display of public affection, Gamora had allowed Peter to lay his head in her lap so that she could hold an ice-pack to his bruised eye. And if her other hand occasionally stroked through his hair, he was not about to complain. Or bring it up at all, for fear she would stop if he did.

“What about when Rocket bit that lady’s hand?” Peter said. “And she threw her glass so far off it hit her friend instead of Gamora?”

That set them off laughing again – all of them except for Mantis. While she smiled, she also appeared confused.

“I do not understand,” she said. “You all got into a fight and got kicked out of a bar. Are we really happy about it?”

“Happy we kicked their asses!” Rocket declared.

“Some of our best teamwork yet,” Peter said proudly.

“Here, I shall prove it.” Drax held his arm out. Mantis, who was seated on the floor in front of him, reached her hand out to touch him.

She burst out laughing. “You indeed feel great joy.” Then she hesitantly reached out to Rocket. “May I…?”

Rocket’s whiskers twitched, but he really must have been in a good mood, because he said, “Why not?”

“You also feel happy,” Mantis said, hand on his elbow.

“Well, yeah,” Rocket said, chuckling. “I’m remembering –“ he wheezed, laughing between words. “That guy - who fell – off the table –

Drax and Groot joined in on the riotous laughter as they continued to share memories. Mantis, meanwhile, turned to Gamora, showing more hesitation than she had even with Rocket.

“Go ahead.” Gamora shrugged. Peter was hardly paying attention at that point. He closed his eyes again, relaxed and content as Gamora continued to comb her fingers through his hair.

Mantis let out a quiet gasp. “You feel happiness… and love.”

Peter felt Gamora’s hand freeze in his hair and his eyes flew open, expecting to see her glaring at Mantis or getting ready to punch her.

Instead, her smile was soft as she gazed down at him. “Yes. I do.”

Peter couldn’t have stopped his grin if someone had paid him. He was cuddled up with Gamora and surrounded by the laughter of his friends – he didn’t need Mantis to tell him he was feeling the exact same thing.

Requested by Anon: Could you write an imagine set during the French Mistake where Sam sees the actress who plays his dead girlfriend and it turns out she’s dating someone (like Matt Cohen or KJ Apa or something) so he gets really upset because he can’t even kiss her or anything.

A/N: I kinda changed it up a bit…it’s not set in the actual episode but the boys do get sent back to that universe so it’s kinda the same. Shout out to @mamapeterson for the beta and feedback is greatly appreciated!!!

Pairing: Montgomery De La Cruz X Reader

Y/N’s P.O.V

I looked up from my lunch tray, seeing someone sitting across from me out of the corner of my eyes. “Can I help you?” I finally found my voice after I realized Montgomery was sitting in front of me. I’ve only been here for a month, but I’ve heard stuff about him, and we’ve bumped into each other a couple of times.

“Just thought I’d say whats up.” He stated. glancing behind me for a second, I whipped my head around and saw his friends staring at us. As soon as they saw me look, they ducked down, acting as if they were eating and talking. “Um, why?” I responded, looking back towards him.

“That sounded harsh, but, you’re not exactly the type of guy that just sits down and starts a conversation with the new shy girl.” I pointed out when he looked at me, searching my face for any kind of indicator on what I thought. He shrugged, “I figured I’d start now.”

“You’re on the baseball team right?” I cracked a smile, he nodded slowly, unsure on why I was asking. “I love baseball, it’s my dad and I’s thing.” He grinned at that, “you should come to the game tomorrow.”

***

It’s been three months since that fateful day in the cafeteria, and I’ve never been more happy in my life, he’s different now, in a good way.

Picking up my phone I smiled, “hey.” I sat up on my bed as I heard him and the guys talking. “Monty-” I cut myself off when I heard what they were talking about. “It was just a bet man, you don’t have to stay with her.” Bryce snickered, I felt my heart crushing. “You must have been real smooth at lunch that day.” Someone else chimed in, but I couldn’t quite figure out who was.

Before I could hear Monty’s response, the phone cut off.

***

I stood, arms crossed, next to the bleachers as Monty started walking over to me. The game had just finished, of course they won, and I was happy, for my friends, not for him. I saw his smile falter when I didn’t start running over to him like always, “you okay, baby?” He mumbled, going to place a hand on my waist but I slapped it away. He yanked his hand back, looking at me in shock, “what the hell was that?” He raised his eyebrows.

I stalked off, waiting behind the bleachers, out of everyone’s sight for the most part, he followed of course, confused on my behavior. “Y/N-” “Was I a bet?” I snapped, he froze, looking at me in total shock. “How did you find out?” I scoffed at his question, “so I was.” I remarked. He tried to shake his head, but I pulled my bottom lip into my mouth, biting down on it hard. Trying to keep it from trembling.

“Baby, I’m-” “Don’t ‘baby’ me, Montgomery.” I hissed, wiping at the tip of my nose, “I can’t believe I thought you actually cared about me.” I whispered, shaking my head as my eyes glazed over. “No, no, Y/N I do care, I care a lot.” He followed me as I started walking towards the parking lot. “It sounds fake, I get it, we started as a bet, but it’s not a bet to me anymore, I like you, a lot.” He slowed to a stop as he reached me.

I didn’t move as he wrapped his arms around my shoulders from behind me, I nodded slightly, “okay.”
