↳ This portal… I know it contains every secret alchemy has to offer. However, it’s also lead me astray. I saw the truth that lies within it and I became convinced I could solve everything with alchemy. But I couldn’t possibly have been more wrong. That was just arrogance.

Theory time.........

There was something about this whole narrative, that wasn’t adding up for me. I was having a hard time putting my finger on it, then Camila released that description about her album, and it started making more sense.

They want us to believe, this whole narrative took place in 2016, but when you remember back and realize, the 2016 narrative was just a revamped version of the 2015 narrative, it all begins to fall into place.

Everyone latched on to that July 4 2016 Brazil snap, of her alone, writing in a hotel bathroom, while the girls were out celebrating together, as the time she began writing “I have questions”. That’s exactly what Management hoped you’d do. If one paid attention though, you would see that the more important snap happened back in October 2016. She snapped a photo of her writing in a bathroom, with the caption ”destroyed”. First, July - October does not equal 6 months, no matter how crappy your math is. Second, the 7/27 tour was coming to an end, and with that caption, I actually think, that is when she finished writing “I have questions”.

The only tour date they had in early 2016, was Dubai. So, unless she started writing it in a Dubai potty, the rest of early 2016 was spent promoting WFH. She stated she started writing that song, “a little over a year ago” while on tour. I think her “a little over a year ago” means the last few months of 2015, September-November. That she eventually had to face her problems, and she finally went back to the lyrics she started from the year before, and finished the song, then wrote a sad song every day until she got sick of writing sad shit. That song seems to be a catalyst for her, and I’m thinking it probably  “destroyed” her to finally finish it.

Camila was asked recently, in an interview, when her anxiety showed itself and started becoming a real problem for her. Her answer was, 2015. Everything started in 2015. Her anxiety, the fucking narrative, the division, EVERYTHING!!

Why Teens Shouldn’t Run Revolutions

Hi guys. I’m going to piss off a lot of YA writers (and possibly readers) today, so hang onto your hats.

Mainly, if you’re in love with the idea of a high schooler with no strategic or combat experience heading up a revolution or war because they’re “so dedicated and determined,” don’t read this. Please, don’t. You’re not going to see anything you like. Go ahead and keep enjoying your guilty pleasure – that’s fine. I’m not going to own up to some of the guilty pleasures I love in fiction but don’t buy for a second in real life. That’s chill. Go for it, man.

But there are just things that I – and readers like me – are tired of seeing. If you’re sick of that trope, then keep reading. If you’re open to the idea of ditching that trope in your writing, then I really recommend reading.

This assessment/collection of tips on why teens shouldn’t run revolutions - and if you’re going to make them, how they CAN do it well - will include comparisons to history, other fiction (Unplugged), and Black Butler. Plus swearing and a range of incorrect capitalizations, because it’s fun.

On we go:

Of Ships

Ignacio enters the Pixie’s Kitten. It’s a very fine establishment, with plenty of people wearing very strategically placed bits of silk, as well as some rowdy dudes enjoying the libations and sights.
Ignacio: Hola, I am seeking for men and women to fly my ship.
Everyone looks up at this bombastic entrance and several people raise an eyebrow.
A scantily clad women, presumably of the evening, takes Ignacio’s arm.
“Well, I’m sure we can find someone who can… pilot.”
Ignacio: So long as they are good with the helm and accepting of gold, I do not care.
Madam: “Well, are you looking for a… bosun, or a cabin boy?”
Ignacio: Preferably a bosun, por favor.
Ignacio is not quite so familiar with sailing terms in Common.
The woman pats Ignacio’s arm and walks off, sighing to herself.
“The good looking ones always plow the other row…”
Ignacio: Plow rows? I’m looking for sailors.
Madam: “No no, I understand. We’ll find someone.”
The woman walks into a back room and is gone for some time, before coming back with a guy that might have been carved from a tree. He looks Ignacio up and down.
This burly fellow is shirtless and looks like his skin is half oil.
Ignacio: Ehh… He does not look like a sailor.
He’s not wearing the uniform.
Señor, do you have a sailor’s outfit?
Madam: “I think I could find one somewhere.”
Ignacio: I’m not convinced. Can you provide me a more authentic sailor? Perhaps someone who owns a belaying pin?
The man grins.
“I have one of those, too. Not sure where it is, though. You want to help me find it?”
Ignacio: I suppose. Do you mind long stays in the sky?
Faregal: “I do need to be paid overtime.”
Ignacio: Do you have any experience at the helm?
Faregal: “Helm and belowdecks, too.”
Ignacio: Excelente.
Ignacio turns to the madam.
Ignacio: I would like to bring this one with me.
The madam blinks.
Madam: “We don’t typically do long jobs.”
Ignacio: I will be keeping him. I’ll pay him well. I desperately need a helmsman for my long voyages in the sky.
I don’t normally hire prostitutes as sailors, but I think this one can do the job. What is your name, señor?
Faregal: “How mu- wait, an actual sailor?”
Ignacio: Did I stutter?
The buff dude looks confused for a few moments before nodding.
Faregal: “Right. Of course. A ‘sailor’. Sure. What are your rates?”
Ignacio: Two gold per day.
Consistent work.
The buff prostitute blinks.
Faregal: “Two g-”
Turns to the madam.
Faregal: “I quit, you’ve been lovely, thanks, bye.”
Ignacio: Bien. I have one more place to visit before you see the ship. Hasta luego, señora.
The madam stares after this high roller.
Ignacio walks out of the brothel with the prostitute in tow, What is your name?
“Faregal.”
Ignacio: Bien Faregal. I need you to perform any and all services asked of you, even if they seen unorthodox.
Faregal looks at Ignacio.
Faregal: “Yeah… for two gold a day, you can whip me bloody.”
Ignacio: Oh, and you will never discuss your pay with your crew mates.
Ignacio unfolds his sword and holds it to Faregal’s throat, “Understand?”
“Woah! Woah! I understand!”
Ignacio: Muy bien.
Ignacio folds his sword.
Ignacio: Where can we find a good hunter in this city?

Knuckles : Boxer!Ashton (Part 4)

Part One | Part Two | Part Three | Part Four | Part Five | Part Six

It’s over? Finally, it’s over.

You’ve been anticipating the end of it for the last few days but only officially noticed the change when you swapped out of your university clothes for an outfit more comfortable to sleep in. It took too long for your liking, but the strange and unhealthy cravings have finally left your tastebuds, the lower abdominal cramps have finally disappeared, and best of all, you can now feel safe wearing white shorts in public again.

Your period, as nature always seems to plan it, couldn’t have been gifted at a more inconvenient time–just two weeks prior to Ashton’s next fight. They may not sound related, but not only have you been irrationally irritated with him over the last few days for strictly hormonal reasons, sending him off to gym sessions in less than great moods, but you also haven’t shared a night of intimacy together since the beginning of your premenstraul temper. You always hate how uncontrollably turned off you feel when you’re going through the monthly cycle, all the bloating and cramping antagonistic to your sex drive. You’re especially disappointed this time, because while you’re usually able to get back into swing of things once your body returns to its normal status, you might not have the opportunity to with Ashton’s upcoming match being so soon.

There’s a superstition–the origin of it a mystery to you–that has Ashton convinced he shouldn’t have sex in the week leading up to a fight. You know it’s got something to do with staying focused and bottling up the energy, and in the seven months you’ve spent with him you’ve been polite enough not to question it, but right now your hormones are going on a final rampage before they settle back down, and you want your boyfriend bad. Despite his strange rule you figure it’s worth asking since after tonight he’ll still have six more days to abstain, and honestly, what harm could one orgasm do?

Genuinely caring about somebody a lot, does not guarantee they care about you equally (or at all) in return. Some people will never care about you regardless of what you do or say. So don't assume somebody appreciates you just because you do nice things for them.

This is something that I unfortunately didn’t learn until well into adulthood - It may sound obvious when its spelled out, but when you’re in the actual situation its not always so clear. Most of my life I thought if I really cared about somebody a lot, then they must care about me to some degree in return. It always felt like that connection was so strong it had to be mutual, even if the obvious signs showed otherwise. Despite certain people treating me like dirt and rarely reciprocating, I would do everything I could to make them happy. I would go out of my way to help them, say & do nice things for them, encourage them, etc..with the assumption they’d eventually show their appreciation for me being in their lives. I’d think “how could they not care about me when I make it so obvious how much I care about them? If I just keep trying they’ll come around”. This was especially true for people who maybe showed signs they cared at some point in the past, but weren’t anymore.

What I’ve learned over the years is that a lot of times that reciprocal connection is imagined. The amount you love somebody does not always affect how much they love you back. People can and will use you and your emotions. And just because somebody may have once cared about you in the past, doesn’t mean they still do now or ever will again in the future…theres often nothing you can do to change their feelings through any good deeds or kind words.

I’m not talking about classic “nice guy” syndrome. Not the crush who friend-zoned you that you’re desperately trying to win over by being nice when there should have never been any expectation of feelings to begin with…I’m talking about people who you genuinely feel a meaningful connection with. Whether that be friends, family, or romantic partners.

I wasted a lot of time on people expecting them to suddenly start reciprocating my feelings and actions. I’d be convinced I could win people over (or back over)…including bad friends and former relationships…if I was just nice enough to them and let my feelings be known. Looking back I should have cut my loses far sooner. I should have focused more on finding people who not only cared about me, but wanted to make me happy in return.

Its important not to assume somebody appreciates you just because you love them and do good things for them.You can waste a lot of time and energy focusing on people who will never really care no matter what you do.

College Headcanons

-Dorms being separated by dynamic. Alphas are always roomed with a Beta whereas an Omega could be roomed with a Beta or another Omega

-Unlike in high school, Alphas and Omegas are allowed to take whatever classes they want and make plans to pursue whatever career they want without anybody correcting them and trying to convince them to stick to things more suited to their dynamic

-A lot of Omegas are greatly criticized for attending college instead of finding an Alpha and starting a family

-If an Alpha is unmated and in college they are highly sought after, an unmated Beta in college is also pretty common, but if you are an unmated Omega in college people will wonder what is wrong with you to where no Alpha has wanted to claim you yet

-Family housing for mated couples or single parents. An unmated Alpha trying to get through college with a kid is seen as the Alpha being a responsible and hardworking parent, whereas being an unmated Omega trying to get through college with a kid is seen as the Omega being selfish and a bad mother

-College is generally when people start feeling more free to get into same dynamic relationships or relationships with more than two people. Its not uncommon to see two Omegas making out or an Omega walking around holding the hands of two Alphas instead of one

-Omegas very dedicated to their education tend to over use heat suppressants to avoid missing classes and tests or losing time that could be spent studying

-An Alpha/Omega couple that have been together since high school and the Alpha relentlessly trying to convince the Omega that they should finally spend a heat together and officially become mates and eventually the Omega is just, “Okay fine, but if you get me pregnant before I graduate I swear to god I will spend the first three months vomiting on everything you love”

-An Alpha and Omega attending colleges really far away from each other so they send little gifts and long letters to each other. Before the Omega’s heats if they are unable to be together, the Alpha will thoroughly scent a couple blankets and send them to the Omega for their nest. The Omega keeping the Alpha on the phone or on a video call so the Alpha can help them through their heats despite not being there. When the Alpha is in class or otherwise unavailable, the Omega will spend their time sending naughty pictures and videos in an attempt to lure their mate back faster, and the Alpha doesn’t mind at all…until they accidentally open a video in middle of class at full volume…

-An Alpha and Omega reminiscing on how they first met in college and the Alpha being all, “I remember seeing you for the first time and being completely blown away by your beauty.” and the Omega is just, “I was wearing coffee stained pokemon pajamas, going on three days of no sleep, screaming at a wall in the library at 4 AM because I accidentally deleted the paper I was working on and I ran out of gummi bears.” and the Alpha just grins, “Yes, simply breath taking…”

These days, we are both filled with half truths and half lies, the way you tell me I am beautiful as the sky turns this soft pink at dusk, the way you whisper you love me just before you fall asleep, the way that it sounds more like a habit than a sincerity, the way I convince myself that it is. And I wonder how we could have reached this point. I mean, didn’t we used to be full and whole? I mean, do you remember the way we brushed past each other’s shoulders - two strangers with giddy smiles filled with the possibility of one another? I mean, didn’t we have that one night with the universe and its stars and all that empty space in between, weren’t we there? Now you hold my hand and the grip is looser, and the place where I lay my worries and embrace yours - seems emptier somehow. And maybe I just miss you. Maybe you should tell me you love me more when you’re awake. Maybe I should start believing it more when you’re asleep. Perhaps hold me tighter when you’re sober, and I should kiss you more steadily when I am drunk. More truths, less lies. I don’t know… do something, anything really. We need saving but I do love you. Half truth or half lie. There’s no denying that.

Ziam is really truly honestly not together in this day and age and it's absolutely killing me that I can't say or do anything as to how and why I know. You know how some people have that solid information on Larry (first hand experience/legal documents/BTS knowledge)? I have the same on Ziam. Don't get me wrong, I think the idea is totally cute and I've read more Ziam fic than you can imagine Also I'm convinced they've got each other off on more than 1 occasion. But yeah- not currently together

Thanks, Ned.

Do you know why it took me so long to look into Ziam? It’s because I live by a simple philosophy…

And I’d been whole-assin Larry for over a year by the time I figured out that people weren’t kidding about Ziam.

The difficult thing about looking into Ziam as a Larrie is that you’re like, “How…what…how could I have been so blind?” Because Ziam was just there existing in the foreground of all the key Larry moments and when you get dickslapped by their matching tattoos, their very public declarations of love, and realness, it’s not nice. There was literally a point where I was like, “Holy fucking shit,” because, IF AT ALL POSSIBLE, there is more Ziam proof than Larry proof.

“But Larry have matching tattoos!”

“Harry said that he and Louis were dating!”

“Louis danced with Harry!”

“Louis kissed Harry!”

“The thirst with Larry is real.”

Honestly, this photo was the first time I was like, “Hold up. Maybe these bros aren’t just bro-ing…”

LOOK AT THEM

Honestly…I don’t know what’s going on with Ziam right this second any more than I know what the hell is going on with my most problematic fave Louis. And I don’t like guessing. I will happily take facts and information that’s in front of me and deduce from it what I will, but it’s going to take a lot hell more than a shady anon to convince me of anything.

I wrote this mostly just to be like, “OPEN YOUR EYES AMERICA” than to argue with this ask because it honestly seems like it was built on a foundation of sand. Also I’m not comparing it with Larry to negate anything Louis and Harry did, rather to be like, “You think these fools are extra…just YOU WAIT. YOU THOUGHT THO!” Which is why I think we need to take a moment to appreciate the captain of the ships…

Smh…fifth wheel af for seven years now.

Same, Noll. Same.

not the lost princess

because somebody said “write it” when i said this.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
“I’m not the princess,” Liza told the first man who informed her, shocked, how she had the green eyes of the royal family and hair as dark as the late queen’s. She had been joking, of course, pretending to take him seriously as she counted out his change. No one had accused her of being the princess in the first place. Princess Aliara, the last of the royal line of Adamar, had drowned in the Silver Sea ten summers ago. Everyone knew that.
~
“I’m not the princess,” Liza told the old woman, the princess’s childhood nurse, who clutched her hands to her chest the moment she fell off her horse in the castle courtyard. She didn’t want any more confusion than there already was.
There were silver streaks in the woman’s hair and tears in her eyes. “It’s you,” she repeated, as if she hadn’t heard.
“No,” Liza explained, already impatient. “It’s not me. I’m not her.” It was what she had told the royal minister who had been fetched by the man in the shop last week at least seven times by now, but he’d insisted that the other royal ministers had to see her, had to see if she was real, and wouldn’t leave the shop.
“I’m real,” she’d said. “Really annoyed.”
The man’s eyes had filled with tears. That seemed to be happening a lot around her recently. “You sounds just like you did when you were little.”
Liza threw up her hands and told anyone who would listen that this man hadn’t known her when she was a little girl growing up in a costal town far away, but finding out she had lived in some proximity to the Silver Sea only sent everyone into more of a frenzy. In the end she agreed to come, if only because the royal minster would take care of the cost, and the capital city had a real library to visit.
“I’m not the princess, though,” she reminded all the minister’s servants when they bobbed curtsies to her. “Just to be clear.”
~
“I’m not the princess,” Liza told Kara, the girl who had claimed the right to interrogate her first. She was the lost princess’s best friend, or something, and she’d said she was the only one who could possibly tell if this so-called princess was an impostor.
Kara scoffed, hands on her hips and her eyes mistrustful. “Of course you’re not, kid. No one who claims to be Liara is. She’s dead.” But her voice sounded a little more uncertain with each word as she looked Liza over. “So what’s your excuse? What’s your made up story for how you’ve suddenly regained your lost memory and remembered you’re a princess, or whatever?”
Liza glanced around at all the court watching her, still bewildered as to how she was being interrogated as a possible impostor when she’d never claimed to be anyone in the first place, and finally repeated what she’d been saying all day. “My name is Liza. I’m a baker. My parents were bakers before they died. They were not the king and queen. I am not the princess. Can I go to the library now?”
The room filled with deliberating murmurs rather than answers, and Liza leaned back in her seat with a groan.
~
“I’ll give you credit,” Kara said, sounding as if she’d rather do anything else, “you really do look like her.”
“I’m not her,” Liza said, as if repeating it for the hundredth time would make Kara finally believe she wasn’t trying to pretend she was. As if saying it a thousand more times would make half the royal ministers stop thinking she really was.
She wasn’t allowed to go home, not until they’d come to a consensus on her princess-related status. “I’m a prisoner,” she yelled at Alder, the most annoying of the ministers.
“You’re home,” he’d responded fondly, and she’d screamed in a very un-princesslike manner and gone to find Kara, who at least wouldn’t keep asking her if she remember so-and-so-’s name, or how she had tripped on that step and sprained her ankle when she was six.
“When I was six I was frolicking happily on a beach somewhere on the southern coast,” she told Kara crankily. “Not cooped up in this castle.”
Kara laughed derisively. “Oh, honey. Liara’s ship sank near the eastern coast. You don’t even have your story straight.”
But despite Kara’s firm belief that Liza was a liar and a pretender, Liza sensed that her laughter was becoming warmer, and she directed more snide comments at the ministers than she did at Liza. Perhaps, Liza even dared to think, Kara was starting to like her.
Kara noticed that she was being stared at, and half-smiled back. “Don’t be offended. You’re almost as bad of a liar as she was, too. That’s actually a point in your favor.”
Liza rolled her eyes and tugged at Kara’s sleeve to pull her closer. “Show me the way to the library again. I get lost in the halls every time I try to go without you.”
“They say true royalty isn’t capable of being lost in the royal palace.”
“Tell that to the ministers.”
~
“I’m not the princess,” she said automatically, before she’d processed the boy standing in front of her. He was supposed to be the princess’s illegitimately-born cousin, or something. One way or another, he was one of those next in line for the throne if the princess did not magically turn up sometime soon (which she wouldn’t, because she was dead).
“He’d do a rotten job,” Kara had said, curling her lip, when they’d seen him march through the front hall from their little alcove in the balcony. “He can’t be king.”
“Why do you care?” Liza asked, trying to sneak a peak at Kara’s cards.
She pulled her cards away and whacked Liza’s arm lightly with them. “I’m engaged to the throne, silly. The real princess would know that.” But that last sentence was an afterthought. She’d almost entirely stopped accusing Liza of pretending, recently. “And I won’t marry Henry. He makes fun of anyone once their back is turned, and he spreads rumors about whatever he likes, and once he kicked Liara’s puppy because it was in his way.”
“That sounds like an exaggeration.”
Kara shook her head, looking almost grim. This clearly wasn’t one of her jokes. “No. Liara was so angry she threw her shoe at him. Hit him in the head, hard. He was bleeding. It was a big scandal that she would hurt her own cousin, everyone rushed to cover it up with a story about how he fell and hit his head.”
“I take it they didn’t get along?” Now she was worried. If Henry wanted to be king, what would he do to Liara? What would he do to her, if he believed she was the princess? “Is he dangerous?”
“Don’t worry, Liza. I’ll protect you.” She was kidding, her brown eyes soft, but Liza felt a little safer anyway.
~
“I know you’re not,” Henry sneered, and walked past her.
Kara gripped her hand, which was all that kept Liza from running after him to yell about just how many people were pretty sure she was, and how he was a rude, terrible person who would never marry Kara because she wouldn’t allow it, and how someone who kicked puppies was not fit to look at the throne, let alone sit in it, and how, also, he smelled.
He didn’t, but it would have been nice to tell him that. She almost didn’t let Kara pull her away.
~
“I’m not the princess,” Liza said when Alder asked yet again for another retelling of how she’d come to be a baker in a small town far from the castle. She was too tired to go through it again, too frustrated with all these dithering people too scared of having to work out the convoluted succession of a throne that had no obvious heir to accept that their princess wasn’t there to solve the problem.
She was not, however, too tired to notice Henry’s small victorious smile as he sat in the back of the room and listened. Everyone knew that the one year in which the royal throne could remain empty in the wake of the king and queen’s deaths was drawing to a close. An heir would have to be announced soon.
If it wasn’t Aliara— wasn’t Liza— it was almost certainly Henry.
After the horrible, boring meeting was over, she found Kara in the library and bunched up next to her in the window seat too small for two people. “Tell me about the princess,” she said, and Kara complied, because they were both coming to wish, like the ministers, that she was there.
~
One year after the queen of Adamar had passed away with her daughter’s name on her lips, the royal ministers met in the throne room. Liza had denied being the princess to the very last. There was nothing else for it but to declare the heir to the kingdom.
Henry hadn’t stopped smirking since he’d received the message asking him to attend that morning. Kara watched him with a blank face but a sick stomach, thinking how she would never sit on a throne next to his— thinking about running away, grabbing Liza’s hand and running with her back to the beach far from where the princess had died.
It wasn’t fantasy. It was a concrete plan. She had the horses waiting. She felt herself calming as Alder called everyone to attention, knowing that even if they could do nothing for Adamar once Henry was king, at least they could do this.
And then Aliara walked into the room.
No, she glided into the room. She swept in so like a ghost that half the company spooked or flinched, but she was very, very real. She had the green eyes of the royal lineage. She had dark hair braided over her shoulder the exact way the queen used to wear it. She had a smile that was almost, almost smug.
“Please,” Liza said, sweeping a curtsey and lifting her eyes to the sunlight falling through the high glass windows as if she could look any more perfectly innocent. “I must beg your forgiveness. I have been a coward to insist for so long that I could not remember my childhood here, when I have never forgotten my true self. I thought I could bear the shame of never coming forward. I even convinced myself it would be better for Adamar to have my dear cousin as king.” She pressed a hand over her heart. “I’m sorry, Henry, for pretending not to know you, and almost letting this burden fall on your shoulders. But I have seen the light in time. I am here, Alder. I am the princess.”
Henry went pale with fury, meeting her halfway across the wide floor of the throne room and catching her arm so she could not approach the throne.
“Don’t you dare,” he snarled. “We both know you’re a liar. Everyone else will soon realize to. Don’t bother trying to pull it off.”
She yanked her arm back so hard that he was almost unbalanced and fixed him with a glare that had no princess in it and all of the fire she used to pump in her huge ovens at the bakery. “Don’t cross me, cousin. Or do you need me to throw another shoe at your head?”
He faltered just long enough for her to walk past, head held high, and up to the dais. “Come here with the crown, Alder. Careful on the steps. I tripped on them when I was six, you know.”
“Y-yes, princess,” Alder said, hastily coming forward.
She raised an eyebrow, indicating with one hand that there was no one else on the dais with her. “I’m not the princess. I’m the queen.”
~
“I’m sorry,” she told Kara, late that night. It had been a very long day, and her head ached from the weight of the crown, and she only wanted to go to sleep, and she didn’t know if Kara was angry, and didn’t want her to be.
“I’m the one who needs to apologize,” Kara said, stepping closer, reaching out for her hands.
“For?”
“For my false accusations over the past year, of course,” she said with a straight face. “I don’t know how I didn’t recognize you from the beginning.”
“The princess,” the new queen said, unable to figure out full sentences as Kara pulled them closer together, gently pushing strands of her hair back.
“My princess.”
“Yes,” the baker-princess-queen sighed. “That.”
Expectations: Exceeded
I can’t believe what just happened. I have watched an episode written by the dreadful duo and I can say that I really liked it despite the fact that Cas was not in it. Let me tell you what exactly I enjoyed about it. (Spoilers are obviously coming, so you have been warned).
Eileen was back. Sam has kept contact with her and that made me extremely happy because I ship Sam/Eileen with all I have. After this episode I’m more convinced than ever that she could be Sam’s perfect endgame. I hope we see her again and alive.
Mick got a sort of redemption arc. I loved the uniforms at Kendrick’s (shout out to Hogwarts), and I knew Dr. Hess would be a mean woman since I saw her and immediately thought of Dolores Umbridge. Mick’s flashbacks made me really sad. I felt empathy and pain in my heart for him, but I also felt really proud of him when he made the right choice and when he stood up for the Winchesters. I couldn’t help the tears running down my cheeks when I saw the end of his story. I’ll miss him! :(
Mary’s this-is-just-for-fun attitude with Mr. Ketch felt refreshing to me. It seemed that the closest to develop some sort of feelings after their encounter was him, not her. I wonder what he will do now that he’s got the direct order to eliminate all American hunters, including Mary. Will he try to spare her life but not her sons’? It’s obvious he doesn’t like the idea of Mary splitting her energy between hunting and her boys. He sees everything black and white, so the fact that she’s hunting means to him that Sam and Dean aren’t so important to Mary. He’s wrong, of course, but I’m interested to see what happens next.
The rest of the episode was good enough. Lucifer is still trying to play Crowley. Will the King of Hell be able to keep himself 10 steps ahead or will his pride and ego be his downfall? On the other hand, I’m not so interested in what will happen to Kelly Kline and Lucifer’s child, but I’m engaged enough to be paying attention to that part of the story as well.
Both Dean and Sam are worried about Cas. They mentioned him a couple of times, and we even saw Dean trying insistently to contact him. Cas is family, so the Winchesters are obviously concerned because he’s M.I.A.
The subtextual romantic interest parallel was so near the surface that I felt it was almost text. At the end of the episode, Sam asked Dean (again in the episode) if he’d heard anything from Cas yet. Then he asked Dean if he thought Cas was alright and Dean answered he didn’t know, but his face was screaming “I’m really worried”.
(Source: X)
What happened immediately after that? Dean asked Sam “Where’s Eileen?” Both Winchesters were asking about a person that is definitely special for the other brother. In this episode, we had evidence of the very close and special relationship that Sam and Eileen have (which Dean even called “cute”).
Dean and Eileen interacted fine, but it was evident that the real connection was between Eileen and Sam. On the other hand, Sam was definitely worried about Cas, but the one calling him and leaving him messages was Dean. It was also evident that the real connection is between Dean and Cas. Eileen right now has a good profile to be Sam’s love interest in the future. Does Cas have the right profile to be Dean’s love interest as well?
I have to go to bed now. I have a meeting very early tomorrow (or later today?), so I have to be up again in less than 4 hours. I just couldn’t go to sleep without writing something about this episode that for sure exceeded my expectations.
Tony Stark was head over heels in love. He was so beyond in love with you, in his eyes you were perfect. You were the first woman that Tony saw after Pepper walked out on him. At first, the team was happy for Tony, you seemed to accept the fact that he was Iron Man and at times he would have to leave you for the job. But, within a matter of days, Tony came into the common room announcing to the rest of the team that he was in love with you and that he has already asked for you to move to the tower. The team was too dumbfounded to respond, and the next day they saw Tony carrying your stuff to his room. That’s when the team started to feel weary of you. Natasha was the first to voice her concerns, you seemed too perfect to her, and after running a thorough background check on you, she told the team that you were nothing more than a gold digger.
Captain was shocked at this conclusion and tried to reason with Natasha but once she laid out the proof it was convincing. You were a college dropout, who had been working at a small coffee shop on the outskirts of town getting harassed by loan collectors. You only had about a thousand dollars in your bank account before Tony and you had gotten together. After you moved in, your bank statement and living style completely changed. There was a steady income of 1000 dollars coming into your account every week, and the loans had been paid off as well. Though Bucky and Steve argued that you could have gotten a new job or something to explain the sudden rise of wealth, Nat pointed out that of the weeks you had been staying with them, you had only gone out for dates with Tony, or grocery shopping. On top of this, every time he would go off on missions Tony would come back with some sort of gift for you, it started off cheap and cheesy, but lately, they all noticed that Tony’s presents for you were getting more and more expensive. The avengers knew that the money he was spending on you wasn’t that much considering Tony was a multi-billionaire but it was the blind trust and love he had for you that concerned them. They never saw the two of you doing anything together, you would occasionally go on dates with him and you two shared a room. However, most of the time he was at the tower Tony was usually working in his lab, and you never came around to visit him or get him out of there.
They all tried in their own way to get Tony to realize that you weren’t in love with him, rather you were in love with the money and gifts he gave you, but nothing worked, he was too deep under your spell.
One morning Tony was preparing breakfast for himself, while the rest of the avengers were scattered throughout the kitchen. They had all just returned from a week-long mission in India shutting down a terrorist cell. “Tony,” you called out to him catching the attention of the rest of the team as well.
“Hello gorgeous,” he said, moving to place a kiss on your cheek. You hesitantly allowed him to kiss you, Tony’s love and your contradicting reaction flared the avengers hatred for you.
“Baby I saw this on the bedside, what is it?” you asked holding up an exquisite box.
“Oh, here,” he replied opening the box. Inside was a pair of bangles bejeweled with emeralds and rubies. “These bangles were last worn by the princess Mastani, they were a present from her husband Peshwa Bajirao. Their love story is one that is infamous in India, I saw them thought of you.”
Tony was expecting you to be ecstatic like you were for all the other presents he had got you. However, for the past few weeks, he noticed that you were becoming less and less excited at the presents he got you. Thinking it was because they weren’t special or expensive enough, he tried to up his game getting you presents, each one more expensive than the one before it. “Can you get them exchanged?” you asked. Disappointed as he was that you didn’t like what he got you, he just wanted you to love him back so with a sigh he chirpily responds, “Sure Pumpkin what can I get you?”
But before you could respond Natasha made a noise which was somewhere between a groan and a scream. Bruce looked like was trying hard not to turn into the Hulk, and the rest of the team looked at you with disgust. “That is enough,” she growled at you.
“Stand down Romanoff,” Tony joked, shielding you from everyone’s sight but Nat wouldn’t have any of it.
“Why are you so blind Tony? She is nothing but a gold digger, can’t you see that? She’s been using you to pay off debts, and fill her bank account! Don’t you dare argue back, I ran a background check on her, Tony. She’s a college dropout who was getting harassed by debt collectors. She only had a thousand dollars in her account and worked a small coffee shop. Then you come along, suddenly her bank account gets a thousand dollars every week, and her loans are paid off. She doesn’t work at that coffee shop anymore, frankly, she does nothing but still on her ass all day. Do you two even talk? Tony, she only comes out when you take her out on fancy dates. She can’t love you, Tony, she’s incapable of caring for you! Kick her out!” Nat screamed.
“THAT’S ENOUGH NATASHA!” Tony screamed, a staring contest ensued between Tony and her.
“You paid off my loans?” you asked quietly. Your voice was broken and for the first time since the screaming session started everyone’s eyes turned to you. You were in tears, hugging yourself to keep the shaking to a minimum.
Tony thought about lying, but once he saw your broken form sighed, shoulders slumping as he said, “Yes.”
“DAMMIT TONY!! HOW MANY TIMES MUST I TELL YOU I DON’T NEED YOUR MONEY!!!” you screamed, frustrated turning away from him.
“I’m sorry baby I just wanted to help you out. You’re doing so well with your writing and making money from that. I wanted you to just be focused on getting better at that rather than worrying about paying off your debts,” Tony stated, moving towards you to try and calm you down.
You moved away from him, still angry, “Do you hear what your friends think of me, Tony? They think that I’m a gold digger. Tony this is why I said I didn’t want your money, this is why I refused to go out with you for months. Oh and by the way, what I want in exchange of these bangles is JUST TWO DAMN HOURS OF YOUR TIME! You buy all these expensive gifts for me, and go on for hours telling anything and everything that will listen that you love me but you don’t have time to just be with me! You’re always in that lab of yours, for weeks I just let you be there thinking you need your time, and that you would come around soon enough. But no, you stay there, coming to bed way after I’ve fallen asleep, getting up before I wake up. I LOVE YOU TONY! NOT THE PRESENTS YOU GET ME AND THE MONEY YOU COULD GIVE ME! I LOVE YOU, AND NO PRESENT, NO MATTER HOW PRICELESS WILL EVER EQUVILATE TO GETTING TO SPEND TIME WITH YOU!” You stormed away, tears flowing down your cheeks leaving a bunch of avengers heavily confused.
Realizing her mistake, Natasha speaks up, “I’m sorry Tony.”
A sarcastic laugh escaped his mouth, “I’m not the one you should say that to.”
“We were just worried that she was using you for money. You can’t blame us for thinking like that Tony, she moved in a week after you announced you were dating her,” Steve tried to reason.
“So, what you ran a background check on her? Why couldn’t you just trust my decision?” Looking around at the sorry faces of the team he sighed. “I’ve known her since I was a kid. We kinda drifted apart as I went off to college. I found her working at the coffee shop by chance. When we were teens, I had a huge crush on her but couldn’t really tell her, because she was the only true friend I had, and I didn’t want to lose that. She looked so miserable working at the shop, and when we got talking she told me that her family died leading her to drop out of college, not having anyone to help her. She wanted to be a writer, when we were kids that’s all the girl could do. She used to write constantly, so I got her introduced to a publisher who fell in love with her work. She’s been working on different projects, that’s where the 1000 dollars per week comes from. It took me months to convince her to go out with me, we’ve both been in love with the other since we were 15, and I didn’t want to lose any more time. That’s why she moved in so quickly. I should have explained all this to you guys before,” Tony explained.
The team looked around at the each other, they all felt guilty for judging you instead of finding out more information. Tony made his way to his and your room, knowing that he gave you enough time to cool down. Upon entering, he saw your curled-up figure on the bed facing away from him, his heart wrenched within its cavity to know that, although unintentionally, he hurt you. He climbed in underneath the covers and pulled you close to his chest, hiding his face on the crook of your neck and inhaling your scent. “I’m sorry I yelled babe,” you quietly said as you moved to face him. Tony looked at you as if he was seeing you for the first time.
“I am so lucky to have you, you know that? I’m the one who should be sorry. I should have spent more time with you, please don’t leave me,” Tony desperately clung on to you.
“Tony Stark, I’ve put up with you since I was 5. It’s safe to assume that I will never leave you,” you laugh and pull him into a kiss.
“I love you(Y/N/N). So much. Now, how about we cook something together, and then have a horror movie marathon,” Tony exclaimed pulling you off the bed with him.
As you entered the kitchen you noticed the team huddled together. “Not coming up with a way to throw me out of the Tower I hope,” you sass. They immediately stood up straight, all with the same guilt-ridden expression about them.
“Hey (Y/N/N), we’re really sorry. It was wrong of us to spy on you in the first place, but it was even more wrong of us to judge you based on the little information we had on you,” Steve started.
“I apologize too, (Y/N/N). I called you things and I regret it,” Natasha said not even able to look at you.
“Forgive us,” Bucky added.
“Guys, it’s okay. All you knew about me was my bank statement that seemed to drastically change as soon as I started to date your friend. You were just looking out for him. I understand, if I was in your shoes I probably would have done the same thing,” you reassured. At your statement, they all let out a breath of relief making you giggle.
“She’s great isn’t she?” Tony bragged as he wrapped his arms around your waist hugging you from the back.
“Yeah, she is. Don’t screw this up Stark,” Sam said.
“Don’t plan on it, Birdman,” Tony responded picking you up and bringing you the bedroom, earning a squeal from you. “Screw cooking together, let’s just stay in bed.” Which is what you guys ended up doing, Tony showed you how much you meant to him, in several different ways. You were sure that you wouldn’t be able to walk for the next few days, but you wouldn’t have it any other way.
A/N:  I’ve been feeling not so hot for the past few days so I thought writing about it would help things out. This fic is intensely personal to me, so I hope you guys enjoy it.
More than anything you were glad your quarters didn’t have a mirror outside the bathroom. You weren’t sure you could handle looking at yourself right now, especially not in the skin-tight uniform top and the short skirt that came with it. You’d convinced Scotty a long time ago to let you wear coveralls instead, but the Captain had called you up to the bridge for briefing on an away mission, and you hadn’t been able to convince him to let you keep the coveralls on. Normally, you’d just pop on a pair of tights underneath and call it a day, but your last pair had torn where your thighs rubbed together and you hadn’t gotten around to fixing them yet.
Daveed Diggs x Reader
Note: I loved this request and the minute I read it, I knew I couldn’t wait to write it. So here it is, I made it a college au because that photo of Daveed in college being all adorable is still stuck in my brain and this just feels like it fits well with a couple of college students you know? Anyway, I hope you like it and please tell me what you think!
Request: Request: It’s 2 am, and Daveed and the Reader are just listening to music on the couch (Like Prince, FKA Twigs, or whatever in that mood style) and they get in the mood and cuddle and make-out and talk about deep stuff, and gives her a promise ring?
Warnings: this is just fluff with a touch of making out
Word Count: 1,400
Daveed’s deep sigh is drowned out as you drop the needle onto your old scratched up copy of Purple Rain. The record had originally belonged to your mom, having bought it the day it came out, and after finding it buried in the back of a cupboard the last time you went home you brought it back to school with you.
The first song on the album begins and the sound feels so familiar, so much like home.
“I don’t know why you still listen to records, they scratch so easily you hardly get to hear the music,” he says.
He’s leaning back against your pillows, his arms behind his head, looking much too comfortable for your liking.
“And then halfway through you have to turn it over for the second half of the songs” he continues when you don’t respond.
“Says the guy who bought me records for my last birthday,” you point out.
Not All Wounds Heal (Part 1/?) (Avengers/SHIELD x reader)
Request:  Reader is a teen w/ healing powers and is main medic since beginning and everyone loves her and sees her as a little sis to protect b/c she’s super shy and cute and kind but hydra sees she’s close with everyone and keeps kidnapping and torturing her for info or as bait and Fury decides its best that she leaves the team, has a new ID, etc. he tells everyone that she died so they don’t try to find her when civil war happens Maria who knew everything decides to bring her back to try to fix things.
Working with the Avengers was never without risk, and you knew that from your very first day there when Clint came home from a mission with a knife stuck into his foot; even so, it didn’t make you doubt joining them at all.  You had been working with the team under Nick Fury’s direction and supervision, having been a medic with SHIELD before it fell, using your powers to heal as a quick method of climbing the ranks to lead the department.  When SHIELD was no longer, it made perfect sense to move into working with the group of people most likely in the world to need medical attention at any given moment.
An Open Letter to BuzzFeed
I have grown increasingly sick of your two-faced attitude and carelessness with how you address social issues, particularly how you twist racism and sexism to fabricate superfluous stories about your celebrity of the week… which more than often happens to be none other than Taylor Swift. It is very telling how you preach social activism yet use social discrimination as your own personal soapbox to spin your carefully crafted webs in which you attempt to convince the general public of whatever weekly angle you have chosen to take - no matter if you’ve previously preached to the opposite. You criticize celebrities for their “lack of social activism” yet serve as nothing more than a glorified celebrity gossip mix-tape that has been repeating on a loop long past its time. Whenever you feel it to be profitable, you preach to the choir about feminism, and yet here you are again crucifying a powerful woman simply because her name carries more weight than your brand. I could spend hours picking apart your latest preposterous article on Taylor Swift, pinpointing exactly where you exaggerated in order to fluff up your otherwise barren story, (i.e. your overly critical analyses of decade-old songs, your isolation of Taylor Swift from every other artist in order to play to your storyline, your fascination with your inflated version of her love life, your exaggerated accounts of fandom drama to appeal to an already polarized group, your pure falsehoods when discussing her personal life, etc.), but there are more pressing issues here than your disturbing fixation with Taylor Swift. I am more concerned with your general precariousness with spinning lies into what may appear to be a truthful article (however in retrospect I hope nobody truly considers BuzzFeed to be a source of actual news). Especially in light of our election, specifically with the misconstruing of facts and falsehoods, I would have hoped that you would have lost your taste for twisting facts in order to garner mass public attention; but clearly you are still fixated by the attention it brings you. Racism and sexism are extraordinarily important issues in our society, and these issues have been further amplified by this past election season as well as the actions which have followed; they are not toys for you to play with when you lose the influence to write about anything truly important. If you were genuinely interested in combating racism and sexism, in promoting intersectional feminism and fighting for equality on all fronts, then you would write an educated piece on the social impacts and implications of these discriminatory acts; your attributing these to Taylor Swift does nothing more than reveal your shallowness and disregard for the gravity of our current situation. You continue to both preach feminism with one face yet turn around and gossip about whatever powerful female celebrity will bring you the most attention with the other; you continue to claim to fight against racism, and yet turn right around and use these issues as a stepping stool into the public eye. It truly is astonishing that you continue to have the nerve to manufacture lengthy fictional articles on high profile celebrities as a means of catching the public’s attention in the midst of a country struggling with heightened racism and sexism, that you have nothing more to say on the issues than what you misconstrued in order to prop yourself up, that your only way to have a voice is to pretend as though Taylor Swift were the enemy and not those actually creating problems in our country (i.e. the GOP, Trump, Pence, Ryan, Bannon, etc.). Until you clean up your articles and start reporting in a truthful light, then you absolutely do not get to stand there and talk down to anyone for not displaying the standard of perfection in all social movements; until the underlying hypocrisy which has tainted your brand has disappeared, you are in no position to claim yourself to be a news company.
Scott x Reader
Prompt list
You’ve never be the one keeping an eye on Scott when he was in heat, it’s always been Stiles and when he wasn’t present, so now the only solution the pack had was that you were the one who was going to take care of him, which didn’t make any sense since you were a werewolf as well and could easily get affected.
He was with no doubt stronger than you since he was an alpha and he manage to push you down the bed, pinning your against the mattress and did anything to cover you with his scent.
