Tied Up (Grayson)

You tossed your keys on the kitchen counter and kicked off your navy blue flip flops which coincidentally matched the striped t-shirt and jean shorts you were wearing. The Dolan household was unusually quiet especially since both Grayson and Ethan were supposed to be home. You were about to pull out your phone to text one of them until you heard the booming voice of your boyfriend screaming out “ETHAN!”

School started today, so you may very well see these sketch pages on the regular.  Sometimes they’ll have plot/character development relevant things.  Sometimes they’ll just be goofy.

1. Due to Sev not evolving through trust and love, he still partially rejects the RKS system.  The mystery black goo tends to be produced when the system is used, typically when he tries to use moves matching his typing (such as multi attack or shadow claw).  It’s possible for him to use the various Memory Discs, but to do so causes him significant pain, and it’s possible that his RKS System will refuse to read the disc.  If it is successfully read, though, it won’t fully change his type, only adding a secondary type to his normal Ghost type.

2.  I’m a geology student and I just really wanted to draw Sev and Rockruff playing with rocks.

I always used to tell my cadets, you know, all the time…sometimes it’s harder to be a slob than to be neat and tidy and clean.

The famously improvised conversation between Lt Columbo and Col Rumford, which builds up to Rumford’s confession not of his factual guilt, but of an impossible dream of innocence (“I got roses…white roses”), is a remarkable study in the dismantling of that very fantasy, and the deconstruction of a personality fatally dependent on control: of his external environment as much as his own innermost anxieties.

In the privacy of his office, with only the Lieutenant for an audience - whose companionship he is actively seeking, even beyond the common bond of professional ethics (“I suppose you could call that a uniform”) - the Colonel’s sense of security is satisfied. For one brief, albeit crucial, moment his insecurities are exposed, and what would have been a stern lecture in the ears of his cadets, on manly discipline, and the “ease” of being neat and tidy and clean, becomes instead a poignant admission of personal inadequacy.

It is not the apparent lack of discipline among the student population that will precipitate Rumford’s demise - illegal cider fermentation and off-campus relationships notwithstanding: the Colonel’s costliest battle is the one he is fighting against himself, against his own inability to live without the rules and regulations that define his existence. It remains for Rumford to reach the final conclusion: that he has already lost that existential battle.

Do you have any experience with wet preserves? I've started experimenting with it, mostly with baby corn snakes and baby bearded dragons, and my biggest issue so far is the color changes so drastically after a few weeks. Any suggestions or links to people who give tips for wet preserves? Thanks!

When it comes to preventing colors from fading in your wet preserves you have to do two things pre and post preservation. First, the specimen must be fixed formalin prior to being set in the alcohol, and second, the specimen must be kept out of direct sunlight (ideally in a dark and cool environment) after the preserve had been completed.

To fix an animal in formalin, take a syringe, hypodermic needle, and the formalin (fixative), and inject the animal with as much of the fixative as you can. After that, you set the animal in the container you wish to display it in (ideally a glass jar that can be sealed), and pour the fixative into the container. Let the animal sit for a either a few days, weeks, or even months depending on the side of the animal and shake the container every few days to  agitate the fixative and encourage fluid exchange. Once the animal had been fixed in the formalin properly, pour out the fixative and replace it with 70% isopropyl alcohol. Even after an animal has been fixed, it can still fade if exposed to direct sunlight so make sure to care for the wet preserve by keeping it in the proper environment. As a general rule for all dead specimens, dry, dark, and cool are the ideal conditions to store any collection whether it be furs, taxidermy, dry and/or wet preserves.

You can find a more detailed explanation of the fixing process and preparation of wet preserves here

I hope this helped and good luck ;o;!!!

There is now a diet plan

Called “Country Heat”

It gives you portions in containers color coded to type of food and teaches you how to line dance.

Making America great again.

Calorie counting isn’t difficult. There’s 100 apps for that. You could dance in your living room to virtually ANY music.

Stop dieting. Make my life easier. Do you know how long I can subsist on an obese corpse? Hint: it’s a while.

The “reverse horse ride” is both ridiculous and undignified.

something vaguely moboween

dunno if this is gonna grow into something else but pls just have this for now

We are always making a difference. Especially when we think we aren’t. We might not be making a difference up to our expectations. But please know that, we always are.

Okay so this is my little zine I made!

I googled many different ways to deal with dysphoria (since I don’t really know how to deal with my own dysphoria xL) and I found these 6 to be the best (in my opinion)
