you can't just buy my love

"I have always tried to see the beauty that is everywhere."

Imagine your favorite character chasing you out into the rain after a huge fight and kissing you passionately and whispering into your ear with a seductive voice, “I’m sorry babe. Let me make it up to you” as they wiggle their eyebrows and drag you inside.

Imagine an au where Iwaizumi is actually a shape shifting alien who crash landed in Oikawa’s backyard when he was six. From then on Iwaizumi has been living in Oikawa’s treehouse, as a secret only they know.

HOW YOU LIKE IT, THROW ME ON THE BED

SHOW ME HOW TO LOVE YOU THE RIGHT WAY, HEY

WHEN YOU’RE RUNNIN AND I JUST CAN’T TAKE NO MORE

YOU GO EVEN HARDER AND WE END UP ON THE FLOOR

OH-WOAH, OHHHHH

HEY, FEELIN’ ON MY BODY

LOVE IT WHEN I CALL YOU DADDY

TELLING ME TO COME GET IT

I SAY “BABY, I’M READY”

EVERY KISS GETTING WETTER

MONEY CAN’T BUY THIS PLEASURE

I SAY “BABY, I’M DOING BETTER, YEAH”

Don’t get me wrong I love learning all this new stuff at work and everyday getting better and better at my job, but I hate it. I feel like the people who deserve and need to watch me grow aren’t there. The managers who told me “getting you say more than four words to customers was like pulling fucking teeth”, don’t get to see me make small talk, do add ons and make people buy things they don’t need, properly refresh a hang rail and put together a color story. Sure my manager will be back in a few months but she’ll just get to see that I grew. Past tense. She didn’t get to see the process. And I just miss everyone (yes even the snotty little mean girl because it was fun to talk about how much we all hated her). I miss that crew that I got hired with and we sat in the back during our holiday party to eat and hid from our managers because there was no need for seven of us to be on the floor at once. I miss all of those idiots and I can’t help it
