Aliens reacting to our mess of alien horror films please?
Jostedalsbreen had been on the primarily human vessel for almost thirty of their rotations now, and was confident enough to say xe knew a lot about humans and their cultures by now.
Xe even knew of the concept of popcorn, which apparently was going to be relevant for the end-of-roation bonding they referred to as ‘moovee naigt’ apparently they would view a classic of some sort. It sounded like an art form similar to theatre - which Jostedalsbreen had read about.
When xe arrived at the designated room xe had no idea what horrors awaited xem. At first it seemed pleasurable enough, but it didn’t take long before xe was as good as frozen to xir seat, silently bemoaning the evolutionary trait that rendered xem unable to move.
Fortunately, one of the humans - Communications Officer Moreau - seemed to take notice not too long after, and end the horrific ordeal on the screen. Jostedalsbreen needed some time to recover before xe was able to communicate in a way the humans would understand, but once xe was ready, xe knew what xe had to ask.
“W- what was that?”
“The movie?” Moreau asked before they seemed to realise the problem. “It’s fictitious, don’t worry. Purely for entertainment value.”
Clearly the humans didn’t realise how unsettling that statement was. “You find footage of your own species being ripped to shreds funny?” Xe asked in disbelief, almost scared of what the answer would be. Humans did have a reputation after all, but from what xe had seen, it seemed to be largely undeserved. Even if they seemed to have no idea what self-preservation meant, and came from a truly terrifying world.
“No, no, of course not. It’s scary,” they answered, causing a wave of relief to wash over Jostedalsbreen. Until they continued, that is. “That’s what we like about it.”
The shock xe experienced must have shown, because Moreau didn’t stop there. “I’m not really sure why or how it works, but getting scared is funny sometimes. Like, when someone sneaks up behind you and scare you, and for some reason you end up laughing because the person who snuck up on you scared you? That ever happen to you?”
It took longer than it should have for Jostedalsbreen to realise that they weren’t joking, nor was the question rhetorical. “No. How would someone attacking you be entertaining?”
“I don’t know, it just is. And they’re not actually attacking, they’re just… you know. Giving you a spook.”
Pretending to understand what they meant, xe moved xir head in what humans considered a sign of agreement, realising xe had been a fool to think xe could ever understand humans.
Water scrying is the art and practice of gazing into water to see the future or receive a vision. Water scrying is a great way for clairvoyants to develop their skills, but can also be done by anyone. -Mod J
To start, you are going to need a bowl or something that holds water. Preferably the bowl or water holding object should be a solid color inside so you don’t get distracted by patterns. Black, white, or a metal bowl are ideal because these are colors that are easy to gaze at for extended periods but any solid color should work.
Fill the bowl with water
Now set up your space. It helps to turn off the lights and have a candle or a few around the bowl giving some light but not close enough that you see the reflection in the water.
Now this is the hardest part, gaze into the water in the bowl and let your eye lose focus. Your vision might get a little blurry but try to fight the urge to look around and refocus your vision. After a while of doing this you might be able to correct the blurriness without losing focus on the water. Around this point when your gaze softens some kind of vision should appear in the water. It’s important to understand that what you see might be a real depiction of what your scrying for/about but it’s more common for you see symbolic images instead. Learning to translate these symbols takes some time and practice so keep working at it.
Another thing to note is that you might feel like your mind is just making you see things in the water that isn’t there, and i guess on some level that is correct. The water it’s self isn’t what’s producing the vision, you are receiving because you asked to, and are using the water and bowl as tools to help perceive it.
Here are ways to help enhance your water scrying that i know of:
You can charge your bowl over night with tea made from certain herbs. I like to steep some mugwort and lavender in my bowl to charge it while i sleep and empty it in the morning.
You can a few drops of essential oils to your bowl while scrying, or before to help charge the bowl and water’s energy. The oily surface can also help keep you from getting distracted and gives your eyes something to focus on.
Another way to prevent distraction is to put a small crystal at the bottom of the bowl around the center. It gives you a fixed point to look at, but I’ve noticed for me that is often cut off some of the vision and everything will move around the crystal rather then appearing in the whole bowl.
Using your bowl for offerings. I find this helps charge and enhance my scrying bowl’s energy by putting offering in it when i work with other spirits and deities.
Sometimes it can also help to instead of building up the energy in the bowl do a cleansing and put some salt water in the bowl to soak.
You can also use moon water, sun water, or any magically enhanced water that might be specific to the type of reading you are doing. I find moon water is always good for all water scrying.
If you try water scrying and find it doesn’t work for you that’s alright. It’s not for everyone, and even those who do it regularly have off days where they can’t get anything to come through. So give it a few tries before you decide if it’s something for you. Good luck with your scrying! -Mod J
Oo so I was thinking maybe Lance has a ton of weird knowledge because he loves reading books about different things (boats, building, animals/plants). So one day the gang is on a mission and someone gets a bomb strapped to them or there is just a bomb they need to defuse. Everyone is freaking out and trying to think. Lance gets near it and everyone just panics thinking he'll set it off, yelling/langst, then Lance defused it and everyone is in awe or something. I just love your blog!!
oh my god I’m so happy to hear that! I’m glad you enjoy my blog so much!
if it’s ok with you, I’m gonna do more of an overall plot ( and maybe mix in my own headcanons):
so pretty much, Lance grew up in an all Cuban house, he never learned English because he never needed to. he grew up helping his mama around the house or helping his father on his fishing boat.
that’s where Lance first fell in love with the stars. he would ask his dad all the time about them and the constellations they created. his father did his very best to fuel Lance’s interests, but they lived on a very low incomes, and alot of the time Lance didn’t get alot of stuff. he sometimes would skip meals and give hem to his younger siblings so that way they didn’t grow hungry. Lance didn’t get alot of books growing up, and any of the books about space were in English. when he heard about the Garrison, he knew he had to join. only problem was that it was in America, and Lance didn’t know English at all.
so Lance would go to the old library and pick up any English book he could get his hands on. childern’s books, worker manuals, how-to books, he read them all. he would learn both the English language as well as learn how to do anything the books were talking about. another way Lance learned English was watching American shows, he mostly stuck with historical or informational shows. learning how they talked and pronounced the words he’s red over time and time again. (the library only has a certain amount of English books, so he would reread he same ones over and over again) he also learned interesting facts about American history, or watch how to fix a car, he picked it all up.
when he finally applied to the Garrison, he was a ball of nerves. his English wasn’t the best, and his accent heavy in his voice as he sounds out different English words. but you can imagine how proud his family was when Lance didn’t just get accepted, but got a full ride scholarship as well. he promised to keep u his studies and that he wont let them down.
when he does get the Garrison, he realizes how bad his spoken English is compared to everyone else. many time he’ll say the wrong word or forget the English word entirely, and many chalk him up to being the class clown, thinking that he’s doing it on purpose. they don’t realize how much it hurts Lance whenever one of the teachers or another student calls him out for messing up a word or saying the wrong thing. Lance will spend all his time either in the simulation room or in the library, reading over and over different books about the most random of things, trying to both understand the lessons he was just taught as well as broadening his knowledge of the English language. it’s in the library that he met Hunk, and they both gain the first real friend at the Garrison.
now fast forward to the team meeting, and them releasing Allura and Coran, and forming Voltron and what not. Lance missing home so much because he misses his family, and wondering how they’re doing. he misses being able to speak his first Language, he misses calling up his brothers and talking to them explaining complex math and engineering that he learned that day, knowing how much his older brother loves talking about that kind of stuff.
every once in a while, Lance will slip up with his English and it’ll get either a couple of laughs or some scowls, the team thinking that he’s trying to mess around and pull jokes in very serious moments when really he just messed up and didn’t know the right word. Lance will do what he always does when he feels like he’s letting down everyone around him. he goes to the library. it took him awhile to find it, and everything was in Altean, but Lance didn’t mind. he enjoys learning languages and sets to work figuring out the Altean language.
then, some time later, during one to the training exercises, Allura decides to change things up a bit and do a team building exercise. she sets up a bomb (not a real one, that would be crazy) but she says its an old child’s game and while it doesn’t explode, it will make quite the mess if they don’t disarm it in time.
so everyone is talking, trying to figure out how to disarm the bomb, and every time Lance tries to add to the conversation, he gets talked over or ignored. Lance decides to look over the device, trying to recognize anything about it, or any of the words look familiar. lance remembers about reading one of the books back at the Garrison about how to disarm a bomb (how it got into a space school, he doesn’t really know) and it looks to have the same basic design as one of them. all he really needs is to figure out which wire is the one to cut.
it seems that the others stopped talking at that time to seeing Lance hovering over the device with a pair of pliers, to which they freak out and pull him away, and right when he figured out which wire to cut, and chastise him for trying to do disarm the bomb without them, and some of the comments come off more rude than others and they even put him in a ‘time out zone’ for trying to eal with something very dangerous and sensitive, but they just didn’t want Lance to get hurt because he messed around with it. Lance merely stands back up and walks back over to the bomb, and picking out the right wires, he cuts them, to the teams horror, they brace for their gooey demise.
but nothing happens. the team is amazed that Lance actually defused the bomb. and of course they all crowd around Lance, asking how he did that and why he didn’t tell them he could do it and getting a few cheers of congratulations (mostly from Hunk) lance explains that he would read alot of books and informational shows to understand the English Language, and one of those books was about how to disarm a bomb. of course the others are surprised that English isn’t his first language (they assumed it was since he was at the Garrison) and he continues to explain that when he messes up his words, its not usually on purpose and that he honestly didn’t know the word in English. everyone apologizes about always getting on him when they thought he was joking, and he easily forgives them. afterwards, Shiro even comes up to Lance and personally apologizes about not figuring it out sooner, since he also struggled with learning English when he and his family moved to America. (cue bonding moment!)
and a little extra silliness on the side~
Lance knowing just the weirdest stuff about history, just odd tidbits that he picked u from those history shows, and just spouting them out at the most random of times.
“hey Lance, can you pass me that wrench?”
“did you know that in the 1700s, the french were scared of potatoes.”
“what? dude, that has nothing to do with getting the wrench! why on Earth would you say- you know what, screw it, why were the french scared of potatoes?!”
i know this wasn’t really angsty , but i hope you like it anyways! thank you so much for the ask!
fumbled with his keys; foreign and metal in hands still smeared with
blood and dirt. An old shoulder injury throbbed as he used it to
force the front door open – swollen shut by rain and weeks of
abandonment. He squeezed into the narrow hallway and kicked the door
closed behind him, sealing it with as many protective wards as he
could remember. His wand hand shook, magical atrophy from weeks of
disuse all too clear.
shook as he pressed the tip of his wand to the throat of the stranger
sat at his kitchen table.
sharp wave of his wand, Remus turned on the lights. Momentarily
blinded, he willed the animal in his chest to stop snarling and
blinked at the stranger.
What was your favorite Zutara moment from the show?
Hm. You know, when I first read this I was like: ”Just one? How could you possibly expect me to pick just one?”
But, actually, it wasn’t all that hard at all.
“I’m sorry. That’s something we have in common.”
This moment of instantaneous, bone-marrow deep understanding.
The way Zuko’s face softens, and his voice as well, how he turns to face her.
How Katara immediately stops crying, how she raises her head and moves towards him, because she wants to hear what he has to say.
Just… They reach out to one another in a way that they don’t to anyone else. Ever.
They want to communicate, they want to understand one another, they want to not be antagonistic. Like, he starts off with words of comfort, I mean, what am I supposed to do with this? She’s yelling at him, and. He. Reacts. By. Offering her comfort?!!?!? By trying to ease her pain!??!By empathising and sympathising and I just!?!?!?
I die, okay? I die for, during, and about this scene.
(The scar touching, and the way they lean towards one another when Aang and Iroh burst through the cave wall are close seconds, but seconds none the less.)
The corridor is long and dark. I lean against the cold wall, barely being able to catch my breath. They’ve been chasing me for god knows how long but somehow I managed to escape. I’m safe, at least for now.
I sigh deeply trying to steady my breath. It’s not over yet, I think to myself. They will come back. They always come back. Always too quickly, always when I least expect them. That’s why I need to be
ready to run at all times.
I can’t fight them, that’s impossible. Their numbers exceed my comprehension, their strength - my imagination. They are an organised group which rarely gets discouraged once they spot their pray. For that reason the only thing left for me to do is run. I know I can’t escape, I’m not stupid. But it certainly won’t hurt to try.
Suddenly, a familiar ring of footsteps reaches my ears. They must’ve caught up when I was resting, I think. I get up and try to make myself run but my body refuses to move. I fall down with a loud thud, tripping over my own feet.
I look behind my back, down the long corridor. Here they are, with their claws sharper than the edge of a mirror and their fangs seeking blood. Absentmindedly I notice I never looked them straight in the eyes. The boiling red suns now spilling over their angry faces drill their way through my body. I must admit I’ve always envied them such passion and commitment.
In the last desperate yet naive attempt to save myself I begin to crawl. If I’ll go down, I’ll go down fighting. Their steps are becoming louder with every second but I can barely hear them over the sound of my heart racing. One of the shadowy figures throws himself on me crushing my lungs in the process. He grabs my throat and slams my head into the cold, stone floor. It’s over. They got me. I’m trying to scream but all that comes out is a merely audible whistle.
As I’m blacking out I can feel their claws tearing my skin. It hurts but it will be all over soon. At least I can hope.
Their heavy breaths fill out my ears. Their screams shred my eardrums.
The last thing I register before slipping into the darkness is a question asked with that hoarse yet familiar voice:
Soo... Nalu headcanons? Like what do they do oce they start living together? Do they cuddle? How do they treat each other when they're sick? Why do they fight and how do they solve their arguments? Hope that's specific enough:)
Ahhhh <3 /yes, it is specific enough, don’t worry! ^^/
After the war ends, Lucy’s hell-bent on writing it all down for the future generations. She’s especially interested in writing about dragons, so she has Natsu tell her everything he can remember from his time with Igneel.
He understands her intentions, so he agrees. The whole process, getting it all out of his system, reliving those precious moments with his dad, actually eases the pain in his heart.
Lucy uses the “Daybreak” trick: anyone who just casually reads the book will be reading a fairy tale about fairies, dragons, powerful wizards, friendship and love, and it will all basically cover the truth. It’s only the ones that manage to realize there’s more to it than meets the eye and break Lucy’s spell that get to read about the war exactly the way it was.
Sometimes she’s so immersed in writing that she doesn’t realize it’s super late and she needs to rest. Not until Natsu wraps his arms around her with a sleepy “Luceeee, come to bed already!” does she realize she has to get some shut-eye.
Boy oh boy, do those two cuddle in bed! Natsu loves sleeping on his stomach and wrapping a hand around Lucy’s waist. His head is always turned towards her no matter how uncomfortable it gets (he just doesn’t want to lose sight of her, even in his sleep). As for Lucy, this girl just loves to be the big spoon! Burying her head in Natsu’s back, hugging him tight, tangling her feet in his, and she falls asleep in a matter of seconds.
Natsu is a restless sleeper, so at first he was actually kind of worried that he’ll involuntary kick Lucy, push her out of the bed, or not let her sleep in general. He was wrong. Her presence calms him down so much that he wonders why they didn’t get together sooner.
No fights for the blanket! Actually, what blanket? Natsu is a walking heater, they don’t need blankets unless it’s winter. If they get cold during the night, they just move closer to each other and hug tighter.
Outside of bed, MORE CUDDLING! They just love feeling the other’s presence close.
TICKLE WARS!!! Lucy is extremely ticklish, so she does everything she possibly can to not get caught in Natsu’s hands, because if she does - there’s no getting out. The boy just loves hearing the sound of her unadulterated laughter.
He also has to do everything he can to hide his own secret - HE’S TICKLISH AS ALL HELL. Even more so than Lucy is.
Lucy realizes that at some point (she’s a smartypants after all), so she starts trying to surprise tickle him.
So one day she succeeds and all hell breaks loose.
Natsu is on the floor trying to free himself, but being tickled stops him from thinking clearly.
Until at some point Lucy stops her attacks. Natsu opens his eyes only to see his girl looking fondly at him. He’s never seen anyone have so much love in their eyes for him, so he just sits there, dumbfounded, and stares.
That’s until all his emotions just explode and he pulls Lucy in a tight embrace. They stay like that for a good half an hour.
Lazy Sundays with Lucy reading a book on the couch, Natsu sprawled between her legs with his head on her stomach and Lucy’s fingers gently going through his hair.
If it’s her own writing Lucy’s reviewing, Natsu wants her to read it out loud. He wants to know. He wants to be a part of this so much!
Lucy always blushes hard when Natsu asks her to read her stories aloud, but does so anyway. She’s especially happy to do it if Happy’s also there to listen, because he’s such a big part of her life, too!
Neither of them can cook, but they try nonetheless.
Flour on their faces and clothes, broken eggs on the floor, burning food in the stove.
They just stand there and stare at the mess until Natsu smears Lucy’s face with some chocolate.
She is about to yell at him, but he leans down and licks the chocolate off her face and then pecks her on the now clean spot. Lucy’s a blushing mess.
Natsu rarely, if ever, gets sick. But when he does, Lucy takes such good care of him. She remembers how her mom used to comfort and care for her when she happened to get sick when she was little and does the same things to help Natsu feel better. Cue the huge amount of hot chicken soup Natsu just absolutely has to eat.
When Lucy gets sick, Natsu doesn’t know what to do and is super worried. He sticks by her side and tries to think of things to do to make her feel better.
If he notices she’s cold, he uses his fire to warm her up.
He once got into the shady parts of Magnolia, because he heard an herbalist was selling some mysterious herb that cures everything. It was all a lie. On the bright side, there is no shady part of the town anymore (angry boyfriend TM).
They get into fights for things like “NATSU YOU FORGOT TO LOCK THE DOOR AGAIN WHAT IF A THIEF ROBBED US” or “LUCY WHY ARE YOU WEARING MY SHIRT AGAIN?”
Just kidding, he loves to see her in his shirts.
They also resolve their arguments really quickly. It all kind of happens naturally. One moment they’re fighting, the next moment they hug it out and move on.
PDA? Natsu couldn’t care less about what other people think. There’s a line that he wouldn’t cross, but if he wants to hug his girl in the middle of the street or kiss her in front of half of the guild, he does so.
Lucy, on the other hand, gets all embarrassed by this. Still, she loves his hugs. They’re warm and reassuring. So she slowly starts to get more and more comfortable with PDA, but there’s a limit to it.
Lucy actually does like walking hand in hand with her boyfriend. She loves to draw circles with her thumb on his hand. Natsu finds this absolutely adorable.
Those two love going fishing! They always take Happy with them and the three usually lose track of the time.
Sometimes after eating the fish they caught, they fall asleep under some tree. When they wake up, it’s dark and it’s time to go home, but!
They’re not sleepy, so they just stay there, holding hands and looking at the stars. Lucy often tells Natsu about constellations and her spirits and he listens so intently and asks questions.
They love thinking up new constellations.
“Luceee, look, it’s a dragon!”
“No way, Natsu! That’s a dog!”
“You’re both wrong! It’s a fish!”
They love to explore! They even plan on visiting the Alvarez Empire once everything’s calmed down.
Lucy wants to look for Aquarius’ key and Natsu wants to help her.
After the war ended, Lucy attempted to give Natsu the Book of END, because “It’s your life. You should have it.”
Natsu looks at her, his answer already ready to be said, but he says it after a long minute of silent staring at each other.
“If it is my life, then you should keep it. It’s always been yours.”
Lucy is ready to protect that book with her own life.
Natsu is not the type of guy to drown his girl in bouquets of flowers.
But, in the rare occasions he goes on a job without her, he buys/gets things for her that remind him of her or that he thinks she would like.
Hence the enormous amount of “souvenirs” they have at home.
Lucy loves every single one of them.
She also has a small notebook in which she writes down some important details about every present she’s ever received from Natsu. Just in case. She doesn’t want to forget anything.
At the day of their wedding, after they say their vows and kiss, they do the forehead touch and whisper to each other through tears “The adventure will never end.”
All the water and air signs are psychoanalytical in their own ways.
Cancer wants to know your needs. Cancer searches for your inner child & the organic composition of your ability to experience life on an emotional level, and they do this through stimulation of memory and ignition of feelings.
Scorpio wants to know your secrets. Scorpio searches for your inner demons & the organic composition of your ability to experience life on a psychological level, and they do this through observation, probing, and deconstruction.
Pisces wants to know your pain. Pisces searches for your inner saint & the organic composition of your ability to experience life on a spiritual level, and they do this through psychic absorption, availability, and inviting catharsis.
Gemini wants to know your thoughts. Gemini searches for your inner dreamer & the organic composition of your ability to experience life on an intellectual level, and they do this through conversation and appealing to curiosity.
Libra wants to know your opposite. Libra searches for your inner balance & the organic composition of your ability to experience life on an interpersonal level, and they do this through reflection, comparison, and becoming you for a while.
Aquarius wants to know your future. Aquarius searches for your inner rebel & the organic composition of your ability to experience life on a larger scale, and they do this through inspiring you to express/fulfill your ideals and purpose.
The water signs mainly wait, attract, and spy, whereas the air signs encourage, initiate, and ask. The water signs receive you, the air signs pursue you. When these signs get to know you, they aren’t just learning dead-end details and essence, they’re becoming familiar with exactly what defines you, exactly what makes you tick, exactly what completes you, exactly what & who you are. What they do with that information varies.

Hey if you're still accepting prompts, can I suggest a polydins one where aliens are badmouthing lance to the point where he's in tears and thinking he doesn't deserved to be loved and the rest of the paladins just rip the aliens a new one whole going on how much they love lance and why and it ends in a big cuddle pile,
Of course! I’ll be accepting prompts til probably the end of the weekend.
It was after they had saved the planet from the Galra, they all were invited to a huge celebration for the people’s newly found freedom. Who could refuse such an invitation. Everyone was enjoying themselves, the native people and the Paladins alike. Pidge, Hunk, and Keith were hanging in the back of the party, the two geniuses talking up a storm with one of the engineers of the planet, Keith just smiling at the two as they get excited over the technology. They can be such wall flowers sometimes. Shiro was standing by Allura, who was talking to some of the diplomats, most likely trying to get them to join the alliance. Of course Lance was enjoying himself just as much as the others. Always grabbing one of the other Paladins and pulling them into a dance whenever a new song started. Of course none of them could refuse, always ending up enjoying themselves too much to want the song to stop.
After awhile, Lance finally left the dance floor and weaved through the crowd, getting a few “thank you"s and nervous hand shakes from one of the locals that Lance accepted with a smile. It was when he was nearing Allura and Shiro that he caught a bit of whatever the diplomat was talking to them about ”—–Blue Paladin can be——“ that caught his attention. What didn’t catch his attention was the looks on Shiro’s and Allura’s face. “Hi, I heard you talking about me?” Lance beams, expecting something along the lines of thanks or some sort of praise. What he wasn’t expecting was for the man to say “so you’re the sorry excuse of a Paladin.” Lance couldn’t help it be caught off guard by that. What?
“I mean no disrespect, but what do even bring to the Voltron team? It didn’t seem like you were doing much to fight against the Galra.”
Lance tries to get something. Anything to come out of mouth. That’s……that’s not what happened.
“And all you’ve done this entire night is distract your fellow pilots from their discussions of alliance. I thought even you could understand how important diplomacy is. But I guess I was wrong.”
Lance can feel the pressure build up behind his eyes. He tries to get something out. To explain himself in some way. Was he really just annoying the others from their conversations? Was he interfering with the alliance? He…he can’t be. He just wanted to help them have some fun. He just wanted to dance with his boyfriends and girlfriends. He didn’t mean to hurt their alliance.
“To be honest any one of my guards could do a much better job of being the Blue Paladin than…..this.” The alien gestures to all of Lance,
“Really princess, there are much better options among the soldiers here than what you’re currently stuck with. Why don’t I introduce-”
“That won’t be necessary.” Allura bites out, anger barely kept out of her voice, but it wouldn’t take a genius to know that she was beyond angry. And Shiro was just as pissed.
“ I mean no disrespect to your choices with the few people you could find. But you could do so much better. The current Blue Paladin is only a stand-in is he not?”
Lance feels like crumbling right there and then. But he doesn’t want to seem even more of a disgrace than he already is. He quickly leaves the party, passing by Hunk, Pidge and Keith as he speed walks back to castle. He doesn’t want to annoy anyone else or force them to leave their conversations. He doesn’t know how long the tears have been falling down his face, but he hopes that he didn’t embarrass Allura and Shiro because he cried. He doesn’t want to ruin their diplomatic discussions.
“Governor, let me remind you that you have no right to insult one of the people that just saved your planet.” Shiro growls out, not hiding his anger as well as Allura, but honestly, neither of them care about that now. Not when Lance was silently crying and running from the party. Not when he hurt Lance.
“Like I said, I mean no-”
“No. Let ME tell you what I think. I think that yes, Lance wasn’t up with the rest of us fighting the battle ship. He was down here, on your planet, taking care of any Galra that were planet side. He was helping your people find shelter and saving many of the people that are here now. If it wasn’t for him, many of the people that are here celebrating wouldn’t be here at all.” Shiro states, walking closer and closer to the governor, til he was looming over the shorter alien. That was when the others come running over, asking what happened, and why Lance was crying.
Allura decided to finish up their ‘conversation’.
“ be wise when you disrespect one of my Paladins, governor. That I wasn’t just my decision, it was the lion’s that chose their Paladins. And if you DARE speak so poorly about any one of them in such a manner again, I may not be able to stop one of the Paladins OR one of the lions from speaking their mind to you.” Now it’s Allura’s turn to lean in close to the diplomat, and giving him a cold and murderous look “ I’m sure you wouldn’t want that to happen, correct?”
The alien can only nod, very obviously shaken by the thinly veiled threats. Allura stand a up straight once again, and pulling Shiro along, she calls out “I’m sorry, but we must be on our way back to the castle. There is something that we need to take care of.” And with that the Paladins follow her out, although Shiro tries to go back in and give the governor another piece of his mind. But he quickly stops and silently agrees with Allura. They do have something to take care of. Or really someone.
It took everyone a while to find Lance, checking every spot that he’s been known to frequent. His room, the Blue lion’s hangar, the lounge. Nothing. Hunk finally finds him in one of the storage rooms, curled in on himself and trying to stifle his tears.
“Guys, I found him.”
Pidge is the first to respond, “is he okay?”
“No, I’m gonna bring him over to his room, you guys start on plan C.”
Hunk gets quick affirmation from the rest of the team. He slowly walks over to Lance and sits down next to him. Lance curls tighter in on himself, but it doesn’t hide the shaking in his shoulders.
“Hey buddy. I know that your upset, but can you look at me?” Hunk asks quietly.
It takes a couple of minutes, but Lance finally lifts his face from his kneels. His eyes are red and puffy, tears still streaming down his face, his cheeks getting the same hue as his eyes.
“Hey, there’s my sea turtle.”
Lance lets out a weak and watery laugh at the old nickname, but whatever small smile he had vanishes. Lance whispers “shouldn’t you be back at the party?”
“Nah, it was pretty lame. Not as much fun without you there.”
Lance tries to counter what Hunk says, but is stopped when he lightly presses a chaste kiss to his lips. That stops Lance right in his tracks. Hunk takes that time to slip his hand into Lance’s, and slowly leads him up from the floor. Not minding one bit when Lance leans on him. Slowly the two of them walk out of the storage room and start to head to Lance’s room in silence.
Lance opens the door to see that everyone one else is there, and sitting in some sort of giant blanket and pillow nest. Hunk leads him into the middle of the pile and soon enough everyone is cuddling Lance. Shiro leans him back to lay on his chest, sneaking an arm around his waist to keep him there. Pidge plops herself on top of Lance, laying her own head onto his shoulder. Keith and Hunk take up the sides, making sure that Lance is completely surrounded in cuddles. Allura sits next to Shiro and slowly runs her fingers through Lance’s hair.
They lay like this for a good, quiet couple of minutes, reveling in the comfort and love they have for one another.
Lance finally breaks the silence with a croaked apology “I’m sorry you guys had to leave the party because of me.”
“Lance, you don’t need to apologize. You did nothing wrong.”
“But you guys were enjoying yourselves, and I didn’t want to ruin it for you.”
“It wouldn’t be fun without you there. And I’m having plenty of fun right here.” Pidge responds, trying to stifle a yawn in between words.
“Shhhh, Lance. It’s okay. You did nothing wrong. You are so important to us, we wouldn’t want to be there without you. We all love you very much. Just sleep. You had a pretty hectic day.” Lance only nods at Shiro’s words. Letting a smile slip onto his face as he drifts off into a comforting and well earned sleep.
So I kind of added Allura into the polydins, but I hope you like it!
