It was early for you, considering you normally didn’t wake up until at least noon. Looking at your phone, you realized it was only 7 am. Sam wasn’t even awake yet; his bedroom door next to yours still closed. With no windows in the Bunker, it was hard for you to wake up with the dawn anymore, your body used to the sun being your alarm clock. Walking down the hallway into the kitchen, you could hear faint giggling. It was a deep, goofy giggle, and you knew exactly who it was coming from.

Grae: You know how Kia was here to get help with one of her projects?? Well, I k-kinda told her about .. er, my dreams?

Jae: You what?? Whyy would you do that? I thought you didn’t want anyone else to know??

Somer: He didn’t. Mr. “ohh everyone will think I’m a freak so don’t say anything.”

Grae: I didn’t intend to! She walked into my room and saw my paintings.. She asked how I could paint something I’ve never seen and I just .. I donno, told her.

Somer: That’s what was so important? That you told some outsider something that you made us swear to keep secret? Do you know how much easier it would have been just telling Ronnie instead of always finding an excuse to cover for why you never wanted to hang out?

Grae: That’s not the only thing, asshat. She told me about this place called Forgotten Hollow, and how a lot of weird things happen there. She said that’s the place I’ve been having dreams about, because she’s been there and she’s seen the things I’ve been painting, in person.

Jae: So, that means..

Grae: I’m not as crazy as I thought.. This place really exists. We were going to meet up again tomorrow at the library to see if we could find more about the place.

A humble tip to other writers

When they tell you “write about what you know”, listen. I wrote a scene of two characters where one is reading the other’s palm, and my beta-reader is beyond fascinated with the detail and focus of the interaction despite how simple it is. Because I know how it feels to be in that situation. I know how the other person reacts, what it feels like when my fingertips discover patterns. This is something that can’t be faked easily by an author that never in their life experienced chiromancy.

When they say “write about what you know” it doesn’t mean “don’t fantasize with far-fetched scenarios, don’t involve new and impossible dreams in your writing”. No, it means “there’s a secret knowledge you have and as an author you can communicate the deep intimacy from having lived it. These are things that can’t be made up. There are small parts of this situation that will attract your attention more than the whole only if you live them.”

Even if something feels mundane to you, to others it could be mesmerizing. Don’t underestimate the art behind your own experience.

Idk why but i felt like making 30 random facts about “Glitch”/sophie

1. She does have magic due to her and “Ghost” sharing their soul

2. Her job is to find any glitch ((like code glitch no what error calls a glitch)) in an au and break the au down to get rid of it

3. Despite having to break au’s down she is not allowed to completely destroy the au, ink’s rule

4. She may break down the au and it’s monsters but she never kills the sans of the au, no matter if it’s a swap au, original, etc, she wont kill the sans

5. The eye she always covers has been filled with static due to the loss of it

6. The static eye is also REALLY LOUD, she covers it to muffle it greatly ((which you almost can’t hear it bc she covers it, if you wanna know how.. well.. MAGIC!))

7. Sometimes she accidentally calls ink and error “mom and dad” because they saved her

8. It’s mostly ink she calls “mom” by accident due to him being the more parental figure to her and error being more of her boss to her

9. Ink taught her to play the flute

10. Despite her usually angry aura she is very kind to the ship children related to ink or error unless they show that they hate her

11. She doesn’t know about geno because she has never been to the save screen nor can she get there

12. She doesn’t know about core!frisk either due to her not being able to get to the omega timeline

13. She meets up with someone secret, she enjoys listening to his stories and helping out with “the kiddo” ((choco is gonna get that instantly unless she forgot))

14. If you feel like your being watched it’s more likely she’s the reason why

15. When her and “Ghost” were younger the distance they could be apart from each other was very limited, but now that they’re older they don’t have a limit to how far apart they can be

16. “Glitch” only has one outfit

17. Sometimes she has dreams about the memories she can’t remember as her own, all the names get blocked out by static and faces are blurry, so if you try asking her about her past before she was with her now “family” ((ink, error, “Ghost”, etc)) she wont understand what you want her to explain

18. She doesn’t know who Sophie is ((Sophie is her real name))

19. She refers to her sister as “the white haired girl in her dreams”

20. She can’t get sick easily but when she does it hits her BADLY

21. She isn’t sure why, but she despises nightmare and dream ((ihadto ijustfucking hadto ok))

22. The day she finds someone shorter then her ((as in they stopped growing)) is going to be the happiest day of her life ((y'know aside from the sans’s like blueberry and blackberry))

23. She’s worried about tech(( @xx-vanilla-extract-xx ))

24. Her favourite of the ship children is repeat, or as she calls him, short bread (( @lunalight123 ))

25. “If i’m goin down ur fuckin goin down with me” is something she’d say when drunk on sleep

26. Just because she’s happy doesn’t mean she’ll smile

27. Likes to prank error when he isn’t destroying au’s

28. She may know a lot of sexual shit but god please no one tell her what the bone zone is

30. Fear of love or attachment

i have thought a lot about censorship and what is “appropriate”. not a lot of people know this, but lolita was written to show what we allow on our bookshelves: there being no swear words in it meant it was free from censorship. a book about child molestation was allowed because it didn’t explicitly use the word “fuck”. he wrote it to show we don’t really care about protecting children, and it ended up being seen as a romance.

someone once told me - actually, many people have - that lgbt content isn’t appropriate for children. any content. not just kissing. i’m drowned in questions: “won’t the parents have to explain it?” “kids shouldn’t be thinking about sex at this age, or do you think differently?” “what will the kids think?”

at six i saw disney movies. people kiss and get married. i didn’t ask “what does that mean.” i didn’t ask “are those people going to have sex?” i didn’t ask anything, because i was six, and no six year old thinks twice about these things. nobody ever “explained” being straight to me, it was a fact, and it existed, and i was fine with that. why would being gay require a thesis, i wonder.

someone once told me that the one of the reasons people hate lgbt individuals is because they can’t see us as anything but sexual. we’re not people, so much as sinners. that they don’t see love, they see sex. just sex. it’s perversion, not a matter of the heart. only of the body.

i think i was in my early twenties before i saw someone like me.

how old were you, though, before you saw violence? before you saw sexual assault on tv? i think something like that is only pg-13, and if it’s implied, they can get away with anything. i remember watching things and learning about blood, but knowing sex - sex was what was really wrong. sex was always rated r. sex was always kind of a bad word. i was told a lot that i wasn’t ready.

i had a dream last night that i made a site where people could ask any question they wanted about sex and get answered by a professional. it was shut down in moments because 15 year olds wanted to know if it should hurt, if “double-bagging” was a real thing, if this, if that. we shudder. don’t let the children know about that!

but at thirteen i had seen enough violence it no longer struck me. i couldn’t say “fuck” but i knew that if you break your femur, you can bleed out internally in under half an hour. in school i wasn’t allowed to write about loving girls because what would the administration think - but i could write about wanting to kill myself and people would say how lovely, how blistering.

i have thought a lot about censorship. sometimes people on this site try it with me: don’t write this, don’t be so nasty. some of it is intrinsic. we know as people with a uterus not to complain about “that time of the month”, we know better than to talk about sexual assault (how shameful), we know that talking about a vagina is somehow scandalous. i can say “dick” and nobody questions me. some people only refer to the bottom half of me by “pussy”. they won’t wrap a mouth around “vagina” like it’s poison to them. even discussing this, that the language halts, that there’s an intrinsic desire to say “girls” instead of “women” - feels naughty, illicit. not for children.

the other day someone suggested i make my blog 18+. i said, okay, it deals a lot with depression and other problems that might be for a mature audience. oh no, they said, that’s not it, i think that’s helpful. i said, okay. so what is it then. well, you’re gay. you write about loving women. and i said, i don’t write about sex often and they said. it’s not about the sex. but wlw isn’t for a general audience. teenagers aren’t ready.

lolita is recommended for high school and up. i think about that a lot. i know girls who love it, who say it speaks to them on a deep level. it’s beautiful prose, after all. that was the whole point of the novel. something that looked like a rose but was intrinsically awful. i think about how if i was a model they’d want me to look young, thin, prepubescent. how my body would be sold and how through the mall i walk by images of barely-clothed women while mothers cannot breastfeed in public without fear of retribution.

i think about how i can write a novel about violence and it will be pg-13 but if my characters say “fuck” twice it’s inappropriate. i said fuck three times so far in this post, which makes it only appropriate for adults.

i think about that, and how my identity is something that people suggest lines up with a swear word. that people shouldn’t talk about it. that it’s a vulgarity. bad for children, harsh, confusing.

fuck. i love women. which one makes this only for those over eighteen.

EXCLUSIVE: BTS Celebrate Their Biggest Album Ever and Reveal What They Love About Themselves

Welcome to BTS’ next chapter.

The K-pop boyband shocked the biggest names in music when they beat out artists like Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez for the Top Social Artist award at the Billboard Music Awards in May – but their success is no surprise.

With 8.4 million Twitter followers and a fan base so dedicated it’s referred to as ARMY, BTS is one of the hottest acts in Asia, and soon, the United States.

“There is much more recognition of BTS music than before the BBMAs,” V, one of the band’s seven members, told ET. “Which means fans have higher expectations than before. We’re trying to live up to it and I hope the new album can be the answer to that expectation.”

The new album, Love Yourself: Her, dropped on Monday and was even shattering records weeks before its release with over one million pre-orders, according to BTS’ label, BigHit Entertainment. By Tuesday, Love Yourself had already topped the iTunes Album charts at No. 1 in a record-breaking 73 countries, the largest debut release for any South Korean artists. And “DNA,” the album’s lead single, is also blowing up on YouTube with nearly 30 million views since its early Monday release.

ET caught up with V, Rap Monster, Jimin, Jin, Jungkook, Suga and J-Hope on Tuesday, where they opened up about their incredible success, their fifth EP, and what’s next.

Q. Love Yourself: Her is already a huge hit around the world. Were you surprised?

Rap Monster: We’re surprised at the huge response when each album is released but it is beyond our expectation and overwhelming this time. Our new songs topped iTunes chart in 73 countries and made its debut at No. 4 on the US iTunes Song chart. “DNA” music video views surpassed 10 million in just 8 hours, which was the fastest for Korean artists ever. We are very grateful to our fans worldwide for appreciating our music and video.

Q. The music video for “DNA” is a little different from your past music videos, and includes some intense choreography – what does this mean for other music videos off this album? How long did it take to shoot the video?

J-Hope: BTS’ music videos always have intense choreography, but it was even more difficult to learn all the dance moves before the shoot. It may look different compared to previous videos due to complex use of computer graphics and edit styles for “DNA” video, but it took three full days to shoot. Everyone was great in learning the choreography, although there were many different moves we had to perform for the video. Personally, I think Jungkook and Jimin really pulled it off nicely.

Q. You collaborated with The Chainsmoker’s Andrew Taggart on the song “Best of Me” after meeting at the BBMAs. What was the collaboration process like? What did you learn from him?

Rap Monster: We first met at the BBMAs last May. [We] were invited to The Chainsmokers’ rehearsal backstage for the award show and we had fun talking about music and many things. The duo sent us several tracks after we returned home from BBMAs and we selected a couple of tracks to work together. “Best of Me” was the best for our new album in many ways so we decided to write lyrics and finish it together. The song came out great and we were all satisfied with the collaborative process. Andrew is awesome; he’s passionate about music and I think there should be more opportunities for us to work again in near future.

Q. Who’s your next big dream collaborator?

Jungkook: My biggest dream collaborator would be Justin Bieber because I just love his voice and the way he collaborates with other artists. However, I’d like to give it a try with whoever has the right chemistry with BTS musically.

Suga: I’m pretty much open to anyone who’s unique and has mutual appreciation in the music as BTS. I have some tracks and songs written for future collaboration and I’m happy to work with artists who have the right voice and taste.

Q. The song “Skit: Billboard Music Awards,” features Rap Monster’s speech from the awards show – what made you choose to incorporate that into your new album?

Rap Monster: It was one of many ideas we had for this album and we all thought that it would mean a lot to BTS and our fans if we have it permanently in the album and cherish that special moment for everyone. We’re facing the second chapter with Love Yourself: Her in terms of music and life and the BBMAs is like a new turning point for BTS in many ways.

Q. Rap Monster already revealed that Barack Obama was an inspiration for “MIC Drop” – Why? Who else were you inspired by on this album?

Suga: There are so many things that inspire us. For me, it’s people around me. And for RM, it can be books he reads. In general, what fans talk about and think about become a very important source of inspiration to us, because we want to write something that’s real to people, especially those who listen to BTS’ music.

Q. During your live stream on Monday, Rap Monster said that his favorite song is “Ocean,” but that song wasn’t released with the album. What can you tease about when the song will drop, and what it sounds like?

Rap Monster: It’s one of two hidden tracks you can listen to only on the physical album. “Ocean” has a lot of things I thought about since my debut in BTS four years ago. I have lived through many different dreams, worries and emotions in past years and I wanted to share those moments in the song. Sound-wise, there’s guitar and synth and the song is over five minutes, which is quite long. I hope people like it as one of the surprises I’ve prepared.

Q. You changed up your hair color since we last saw you – who decides when it’s time to change your look?

Jimin and J-Hope: The hair color decision is based on the concept of the new album and the timing is discussed with the whole production timeline. Each member’s opinion counts, so our stylists and creative team propose optional colors for us to choose from. But at the end of the day, they’re professionals and they know what they’re doing and in most cases, the proposed colors turn out to be the best for each member.

Q. This new album marks a new chapter in your careers after School, The Most Beautiful Moment in Life and Wings. What do you want fans to know about this new era of BTS?

Rap Monster: We tried many new things for this album and I’d like to label it as “innovative,” if I may. There will be new styled songs, new video, and many new things from now on. We want to evolve as artists and develop what we have within ourselves. If we ever slow down or even fail for our trials, it’s OK and we’ll be and stay as BTS. In addition, I’d like people to love themselves and think about what true love is while listening to the new album, because real love calls for courage to appreciate myself as is.

Q. What do each of you love about yourselves?

Jin: I love my face and how it looks, which I appreciate very much.

Jimin: I love my attitude towards work and tendency for perfection.

V: My newly discovered talent to shoot great photos.

Q. You’re wrapping up your tour this December. When will you be back performing in the U.S.?

Rap Monster: We do have plans for a world tour in 2018 so we will definitely go back to the U.S. soon and meet our fans as much as we can. If there’s any special opportunity for us any time soon, we’ll make sure to share it with you first.

Daddy’s Little Girl

Bucky Barnes x Reader

Summary: dont the title gives it away? it’s such a cliche, i cant lmao

Word Count: 2330

Warnings: nsfw af! daddy kink, thigh riding, dirty talk, unprotected sex (practice safe sex, y'all)

Author’s Note: old fic; i remember writing this, and i was shook™ at how much dirty it turned out to be lmaoo enjoy! and don’t forget to write back to me ;)

Masterlist Here (coming soon!)

Bucky Barnes is a light sleeper. The Super Soldier’s super ability to hear is one of the reasons why he wakes up with dark rims under his eyes for most of the mornings.

But ever since you both started sharing a bed, that habit of his was fading away. You’d make sure you were always snuggled up to him, giving him a sense of assurance that you’re here, with him. And then even the slightest noise stopped to disturb him

That was until tonight, when the sweet disturbance was caused by you.

You had your back pressed against his front. His face buried into your hair, as he smiled and inhaled your sweet shampoo. The metal arm wrapped around your waist as you both inhaled and exhaled together, almost as if you both had practiced it.

I often wonder what I will remember about you when I’m 70.
One could say it is likely that I will forget about the sound of your voice and the way you dress. I might wake up one day and realize that I can’t tell the colour of your eyes or the words you use too often.
I will probably have forgotten at which topics your mouth tends to soften and that you always frown after having a good laugh.
And it might dismiss from my mind how you hold yourself when you sit, legs and arms crossed, your bottom lip drawn in a little.
After all these years, I may forget what made me fall for you, why you were so different from the others.
—  // but what if I will look back and remember each and every detail, every crinkle on your face?
🌛Remember Your Dreams Spell Jar🌜

I made this jar because I couldn’t remember any part of my dreams, not even enough to write down. Nothing. This has helped. :)

—a white or purple candle
—a jar (I used a really small jar)
—mugwort (to remember dreams/vivid dreams)
—lavender (peaceful/healthy sleep)
—lemongrass (protection from nightmares)

What You Do

Light your candle with your intent. You want this to be burning while you are working, you will be needing the melted wax later.

After you cleanse your jar, put the mugwort in it. Use as much as you need, but I put more mugwort than the other ingredients because this is the main ingredient.

Then I put some lavender. I feel like its important to sleep soundly, and to have the ‘correct’ (I don’t have a better word) sleep so you can dream more easily.

Last you put the lemongrass. You don’t want some nasty nightmares.

Remember to visualize and feel your intent with each ingredient. Then you cork it and cover the top with the melted wax to seal it all up.

Place beside your bed when you sleep, keep it close to you, and it should help! I would still advise writing dreams down when you can remember them, that will help you remember them even more! This is just to help you get started!

This charm jar can also be charged when ever you feel you need the boost!

Happy dreaming!
