howdy dark :) relatively new follower with a shitty self-esteem and a really stupid question: do you think i'm pretty?
“I think you are lovely.”
He paused, before his fingers slapped against the wood of his desk, beckoning a rumble of noise that rattled the drawers and sparked the introduction to his laughter, which struck from his jaws like a spear, uneven, uncontrolled, it lacked any comforting noise.
“I’m sorry. That was not to offend you. I just used my nickname for you all in my compliment. I found that quite amusing. Please forgive me. Truly, I find you wonderful. I do not see appearances as a mark of beauty. I find no gain in a woman or man having an appealing face in comparison to an appealing mind. Intelligence, curiosity, a desire to know, these are the things that I find purest attraction in, or possession, more like. You are wonderful as you are, the perfection of thought and the imperfections of desires are what make someone profound, not a pretty gown or curves on their hips.”

HIT ME WITH SOME GOOD HYUNGSIK FLUFF SMUT PLEASE
Author’s Note: I don’t know why but I’m honestly always surprised at the amount of Hyungsik requests I’m getting <3 the poor boy don’t get love wherever he goes (@AhRo look what you missed out on ya loser) BUT ITS OKAY CAUSE I VOLUNTEER AS TRIBUTE TO LOVE HIM
You stumbled in backwards as the door pushed open, your chest lurching with panic at the falling sensation. Your boyfriend jumped forward, his strong arms cushioning your drunken hysteria with an amused chuckle. The fabric of his shirt was so soft, bunched under your tensed fingers at his shoulders. “You’re so strong…” you purred, hungrily dragging him in by the neckline of his shirt. The alcohol hummed through your veins and you could feel its grip on you as everything seemed to blur in your vision. The churning heat at the base of your stomach continued to burn strong as you felt your boyfriend’s strong arms firm around your back. Alcohol made you horny every time, without fail. Hyungsik pulled you up gently, keeping your body pressed against his to steady you. You let your lips drag along his neck sloppily as you soaked in the feeling of his heartbeat against yours. His skin was soft and warm to the touch, so familiar under your lips.
Whenever I see that argument that trans women and cis women are “different ” and therefore trans women aren’t “real women,” I get flashbacks to all the gender angst I had as a kid.
I was really confused by transwomen because I (a genderqueer kid raised in a right-wing christian family) could not understand why anyone would /want/ to be a woman. In my mind, I didn’t have a choice about gender, and if life gave you a pass on being a girl and you picked it anyway? HEINOUS. But that was when I was literally 12 and so unaware of myself I figured the closet WAS the house.
Now I just have to wonder - how much angst do you have to have about your own gender to pull out that “oppression ruler” when transwomen try to celebrate womanhood? Granted, maybe a lot. I mean, anyone who’s assigned female at birth does have to deal with some shit. But shit dealing doesn’t make you real.
Sentient, living people are real. Concepts like gender roles which are intangible, variable, have been changing for centuries, and continue to change today, are not more real than people.
No human is more real than another. If you make transwomen unreal, you unmake yourself.
Bones was a show that supported feminism. Men and women worked together side-by-side. This show was filled with beautiful & healthy relationships. Not only healthy romantic relationships, but also healthy friendships. It truly expressed how friends can become family. Family isn’t defined by blood, it is instead defined by those that would (literally in this show) take a bullet for you. I am so grateful to have enjoyed such a wonderful experience. Thank you to the writers and actors who made it so wonderful. As a woman in the science field, this show spoke volumes to me. It taught me to speak up and have confidence in myself no matter what. It’s been a great run Bones ❤️
If you watch the video you’ll see around 4:20 that she features transgendered women, which I think is really cool.
The other day I also went to get an HIV test because I am starting a new relationship. The girl who gave me the test was transgendered (so were most of the workers in the clinic) and it just gave me a new outlook.
When she was talking to me… I felt like I was talking to a woman.
Like… it just confused me. Because this whole time I thought transgendered women were just men in drag who hated women. But nothing about her (or the others) was like that. She spoke to me woman to woman. I felt bad for even thinking she could be a man. She was friendly and nice and I liked her.
since my last playlist ‘witchy woman’ got heaps of love i thought i’d upload a new playlist.
this one’s called ‘dusty gold’ it’s the definition of old school cool and it’s a big playlist so here’s a selection:
CAJUN MOON // ERIC CLAPTON WILD HORSES // THE ROLLING STONES GOLDEN BROWN // THE STRANGLERS SWEET THANG // SHUGGIE OTIS I WONDER // RODRIGUEZ SPOONFUL // CREAM HAVE A CIGAR // PINK FLOYD HUSH // DEEP PURPLE RUN THROUGH THE JUNGLE // CREEDENCE CLEARWATER REVIVAL LAYLA // DEREK & THE DOMINOS COSMIC DANCER // T. I saw ur shirts and i think they're really cute! I wanna get one but I'm nonbinary and I can get pretty bad dysphoria sometimes so I don't really wanna get the Witchy Woman or Femme Not Fragile ones (I really love that one tho!) And i still go to school so the You're Full Of Shit ones won't do (but I LOVE IT!!!♡) so I'm just wondering if you might get some more gender neutral witchy stuff soon? I really like your designs and I hope you have a fun and easy time making thrm!!!!
You bet!! I just wanted to get those out because they were requested ones! I have a few ideas brewing around still though. I wouldn’t forget about my NB honeys though!!
If you have any ideas, or anything you want to see on one, please let me know!!!!

So, i am curious. How is Horizon Zero Down racist towards indigenous people? I have seen lots of tumblr users saying this.
I’ve heard a lot about the “white savior” and “noble savage” tropes going on in the game, which are always problematic.
There is a wonderful essay that I highly suggest you read - it’s a relatively quick read - written by a Native woman explaining why it’s problematic, which is way better then me answering on here as, truthfully, I don’t know much about HZD.
“Writers have openly discussed what we would call “Hollywood Indian” tropes without any commentary. Praised the game’s “unique” and “refreshing” take on gender, social politics, matriarchies — nearly every aspect of Horizon’s world building has been critically praised using terms that explicitly and historically have applied to indigenous peoples often to disparage our ways of life and oppress us, all while ignoring that unique and refreshing world building has been lifted almost entirely from our cultures.”
The fact that Aloy (the main character) was heavily coded as Native, but is obviously white with her pale skin and red hair makes her more of a “white savior” than anything else. In the end, it’s only this one white woman who has the ability to save the world, even though she’s coded as Native. So you can see the problem there.
Then there is the obvious “noble savage” trope which is shown in the game, which is more obvious in the entire characterization of Aloy and the gameplay.
If anyone wants to add to this that would be great, as I’m not overly knowledgeable about the subject even with the research I did to try and help answer this.

*Ultimate Jess being reintroduced as a trans woman lesbian, still a clone with memories of Peter’s life, though she transitioned after the cloning.
*Ultimate Jess despising Peter for selling his wonderful marriage to MJ to the devil, fleeing from his problems, and somewhat suspecting that she is the original, because if she was married to MJ she would treasure her and never let go, and unlike Peter she has matured and faces her problems
*Ultimate Jess giving a massive “Reason Why You Suck” speech to Peter that leads into him having the deal revoked and the Spider-Marriage being restored
*Black Cat stops being “evil” and maybe she and Ultimate Jess have a date sometime?
