Games (Part 2) || Jack Maynard
After a week of playing our game, I feel my feelings for Jack grow into something more. Looking back at our ‘announcement’ photos I scroll through the comments. Jack wraps his strong arms around my waist.
“Hey, what you looking at?” He says, peering over my shoulder.
"The comments,“ I say distractedly, eyes still searching over thee thousands of comments.
'What? OMG they’re so cute, they were totally made for each other'
My brows join together, "They say we’re made for each other."
"Why of course we are, I mean we’re both stunning,” Jack jokes nuzzling his face into the crook of my neck. His warm breath effectively making me shudder.
“Is this a bad game to play?” I ask him spinning around in his arms, my eyes showing all of the guilt playing on my brain.
“Why would it be?” He asks cocking his head to the side in confusion, god he looks cute.
“One of us is going to get hurt, probably me,” I say shrugging myself out of his grip. I run my fingers through my H/C hair nervously.
“Come with me,” he says softly, almost as if he’s being careful not to hurt me. He extends his hand out for me to hold, his warm hand warms my cold one. He drags me through the apartment complex and up to the roof of his apartment complex.
“Wow,” I breathe my eyes raking over the bright lights of the bustling city, Jack once again wraps himself around me. We stand together for a few moments just content with being with him.
“I lost the game,” he says softly, my eyes widen in realization. “You what?” I ask breaking away from him, my E/C eyes wide.
“You don’t have to feel the same, but I thought it was time to let you know that I lost,” He says calmly, placing his hands on my shoulders attempting to keep me as close to his a possible.
“You love me?” I ask, voice wobbly. His blue eyes shine with pride as his beautiful smile grows across his face.
“Of course I do,” He says as if it’s the most obvious thing he’s ever said.
“Wait,” I say cautiously, “You, as in Jack Maynard, love me, as in Y/N L/N?”
“Yes, yes a thousand times yes. I love you,” he says wrapping his arms around me. I giggle softly.
“I’m not sure if it’s love,” I whisper my E/C eyes locked with his blue ones, “But I know that I like you a lot.” His grin never leaves his face as he presses his soft lips to mine.
“Can we be real this time?” He asks sweetly. I nod my head, “I would really like that.”
