you are more important than you realize

If she chooses you please, I beg of you, hold her hand when she’s nervous and when she isn’t,
Never stop responding to her when you’re angry, talk it out because she will lose sleep wondering if things will be the same come morning and if they can be fixed,
Over time she will blame herself for the flaws in the relationship,
Remind her you’re equally at fault but there will always be things that are out of your control, you’re stronger together.

If she chooses you, please listen to her talk about soccer and the gym,
She’s addicted to the competitiveness of games and to the rolling wave of a high she gets when she pushes her body,
Take her to see her favorite team and cheer her on as much as she cheers the team on.

If she chooses you, I ask that you show her every ounce of respect you have,
She may come with a bite but she is gentle,
She teases and taunts, but if you look at her eyes right before she looks away you’ll see she is afraid of losing something important,
She takes herself more seriously than she lets anyone know,
So be gentle with her.

If she chooses you, wash her hair for her when she bathes and let her squeeze you firmly when she gets into bed next to you, she’ll loosen up when she realizes you aren’t going anywhere.

If she chooses you, please pay attention to the little things,
Like the way she pouts and curls in on herself getting silent,
You don’t have to talk to her in those moments, just be there with her,
She’ll love you for it.

If she chooses you, plan adventures with her,
Go hiking even if it’s too hot or too cold, and make sure you bring an extra jacket in case she gets cold, a blanket too,
Take her to see the things you see beauty in, including herself in the mirror each morning.

If she chooses you, fight for her when she’s stubborn and always wait for her with an open place next to you in your bed,
Don’t let somebody else lay in her spot,
She belongs there.

If she chooses you, cook for her on the days she spends resting,
She exhilarates herself so much that she often forgets to take a break,
Feed her and keep her company,
Be there when she wakes.
If she chooses you, understand how damn lucky you are,
There is no competition greater than the one of capturing more than her heart,
If she gives it all to you, please take care of it,
Take care of her.

If she chooses you, please choose her too.

Circle casting 101

(Artist: kada-bura !)

A magickal circle is an energetic construct that you build or envision around yourself before working magick, doing a ritual, some like to cast a circle before meditating or reading tarots. For a solitary practitioner the circle is typically 5-6 ft in diameter, but the size expands based on the size of the group. It can be defined physically, energetically, or both.

Circles provide protection and serves as a container for your personal energy as well as the energy you conjure.

Please remember that this is just what i personally like to do when casting a circle, but that there are many methods.

Preparation for circle casting

1. Determine how much space you will need.

2. Cleanse your area. Vacuum, sweep, throw away any trash in the area.

3.Make sure you have everything you need for your ritual! Theres nothing more frustrating than having your circle casted and realizing you’ve forgotten an herb or any supplies you need for the work you’re about to do.

4. Purify your area. Light purifying incense, sage, sprinkle salt and holy 💧. Most importantly, Visualize the negative energy dispersing. If you don’t focus & visualize, your physical actions will have little effect. Visualization is hands down one of the most important things in any and all magickal workings!

5. Now its time to cast your circle!

Visualize protective energy coming from within you and direct it towards your casting arm. Focus it through a casting tool (Athame, wand, or ✋)  and visualize a beam of energy coming from it and settling on the ground. Trace your circle with this energy, 3 times in a clockwise direction. Once for protection, once for focus, and once for power.

Call the 4 quarters

  • Face North and say “I call to the North, to the element of 🌏. Grant me (us if not practicing alone) your endurance, your strength.”            Sprinkle salt onto your altar or crumble 🌏 into a bowl on your altar.
  • Face East and say “I call to the East, to the element of Air. Grant me your creativity and your intuition.”                                                                 Light incense, wave a fan,or drop feathers onto your altar.
  • Face south and say “I call to the South, to the element of 🔥. Grant me your passion and your energy.”                                                             Light candles.
  • Face west and say “I call to the West, to the element of 💧. Grant me your empathy and your emotion.”                                                         Pour blessed/storm/🌙/natural 💧 into a bowl or into your chalice.

Now would be the time to call on any deities you’d wish to work with. You can call any Goddess or Angel by personalizing this to them. I typically do not personally work with deities, but if you were to want to, Call to them similar to how the Elements are called. Ex. “I call to Gaia, Mother Goddess, Spirit of 🌏.” and then place an offering symbolizing them, so for Gaia you might place  grain on your altar as an offering.

If not solitary, now would be the time to invite others to the circle. The group leader typically invites others in by a series of phrases, although i know every coven has their own method fine tuned for themselves, This is just the method i’ve seen used and am familiar with.                                                                    Ex. Group leader:”Children of the Goddess, I now invite you to enter our circle.” Each member will be asked “How do you enter this circle?” The response should be “In perfect 😍 and perfect trust.”

Now its time to raise energy. This is the most important part of this process.

Here are a few ways! There is no wrong way to do this part, and there are SO MANY ways. You can fine tune this all to you.

Witches Rune Chant

“Darksome night and shining 🌙,

East, then South, then West, then North,

Hearken to the witches’ rune;

Here i come to call thee forth.

🌏 and 💧, Air and 🔥.

Wand and pentacle and 🗡️,

Work ye unto my desire,

Hearken ye into my word.

Cords and censer, scourge and 🔪,

Power of the witches blade waken all ye unto life,

Come ye as the charm is made.

👑 of Heaven, 👑 of Hell, Lend your power unto my spell,

and work my will by magic rite.

By all the power of Land and Sea, By all the might of 🌙 and ☀️,

As I do will, So mote it be;

Chant the spell, and be it done.

Eko, Eko Azarak

Eko, Eko Zamilak

Eko, Eko Karnayna

Eko, Eko Aradia”

Meditating to raise energy. Visualize energy building and building by 👀 by 👀 warm, yellow light fill your body until its expanding out of your body and filling the dome above your circle and visualize it filling with energy.

🎶 or Drumming, Dancing and Chanting.

Once you reach your desired energy level, it is time to get into whatever spellwork or ritual you desire to preform!

ONCE YOU FINISH YOUR WORK SAY GOODBYE TO THE ELEMENTS AND THANK THEM FOR THE POWER THEY BROUGHT. ALWAYS SAY GOODBYE AND THANK ANY DEITIES CALLED ON.

I like to walk the circle the opposite way of its casting three times, and voila!

Keep in mind that this is just my method! There are many methods and this is just one of them.

The fact that this fandom has completely managed to gloss over the actual story line and caused everyone outside of it to think it’s a story about a bunch of gay kids who hang out in trees is kind of starting to irk me.

On Starting Law School & Elle Woods

In Legally Blonde, Elle says the famous words, “what, like it’s hard?”

It’s become some sort of a mantra for female students applying to and starting law school. As kickass as this moment was in the movie, however, there’s something very important to note here.

She says these words in reference to getting into law school, not actually attending law school, which, as you recall, she immediately struggles with.

Getting into law school is deceptively simple. There are no prerequisites. Elle’s undergrad had nothing to do with law, or anything even in the humanities. Her focus was in fashion.

All it takes to get into a law school is to have gone through undergrad and to have taken the LSAT. There is no “passing” score on the LSAT, and you will be able to find a law school that accepts you somewhere in the USA if you have taken it at all. It won’t be a good law school, but it will be a law school.

Getting into a good law school, like Harvard, requires a good GPA and LSAT score. If you have a 3.9 GPA and 175+ LSAT, you’re almost guaranteed to get into Harvard Law.

I will not downplay what an impressive feat this is, but you still need to realize that both a high undergrad GPA and a high LSAT score are things that to some, come easily. We all know those kids in college who got straight A’s without trying, and kids who did well on standardized tests (like the SAT) without really trying.

Elle had a 4.0 GPA (so yes, she’s smart), and yes she struggled with increasing her LSAT practice score but she still got a 179 (a score I actually never heard of in real life) on the first try. Meaning, she’s a great test taker

This has very little to do with how one feels while in law school.

At most law schools, you do not have any exams until the finals. Instead you are expected to only keep taking in information, without being tested on them in any formal manner, and you need to do this in ridiculous volume and speed. You need to be reading cases for 4, 5 classes that all meet nearly everyday, and retaining all this information. It’s not easy. It’s not designed to be easy.

The film made this as clear as it could. Elle’s struggles with getting into Harvard were not even half the battle. It was a cute, fun montage of her studying for the LSAT and putting together a video essay. Once law school starts, she initially crashes and burns, in more ways than one. And then she realizes she really needs to get her shit together.

It can be very discouraging for these hopeful Elle Woodses to start law school and then realize how difficult it is in comparison to everything they’ve done before. But it’s important to remember that their heroine, Elle Woods, struggled, too. You can do it. You can get through it. Just remember:

language learning made easy

I’ve summarized professor  Alexander Arguelles’ video, because I think this is crucial for language learning.

There is no magic trick that will help you become fluent in 1 month, but there are very effective approaches to learning a new language and if you combine them, you will surely become fluent.

If you’re learning a new language, the most important thing you need to consider is – what type of language learner are you?

1. If you:

  • have a more deductive approach, which means that you’re better at listening to and observing the language first and learning through that, rather than starting with plain grammar points from a textbook
  • have a fair degree of intuition
  • like to observe a phenomenon
  • feel somewhat comfortable with ambiguity for a while, until things become clear
  • are someone who can feel comfortable being corrected when they realize they were wrong, rather than getting confused and frustrated because they went down an initial path that turned out not to be correct (so you actually learn from being corrected and you don’t get confused by it)

then, these manuals are best suited for you: the Assimil Language Series, the Linguaphone Series, the Cortina Methods.

2. If you:

  • have a desire to have things explained to you beforehand in a nice and clear way
  • have a logical and analytical mind (which is usually the product of education in general)
  • have a need for a systematic approach (basically if you’re most comfortable with a book which is going to introduce the grammar according to an agreed set of methods or an organized plan)

then, you should try out some of these manuals: the Hugo Series, the Made Simple Series, the Teach Yourself Series, the Buske Series

3. PAY ATTENTION TO PATTERNS!!!

  • the most important part are the patterns of a language
  • no matter what type of language learner you are, I think it’s really clever to incorporate this method into you learning.
  • a language is actually made up of patterns which constantly repeat themselves and that is THE KEY TO FLUENCY
  • repeating the patterns over and over again, until they become natural, until you no longer have to conjugate the verbs in your head before speaking
  • when you become really good with patterns, your sentences will come out naturally, and patterns are what will get you to fluency

I’ve provided the links, where you will find a review of the books, so that you can have an idea of what they look like. You can find most of these on amazon.

There is also an amazing blog on here, which provides free books, and I think that you can find half of these series for free there.  @lovelybluepanda

i love you. [delete]
did you ever love me? [delete]
was i just somebody you used to make you feel better about yourself? [delete]
well, here’s me making you feel better about yourself: you’re the most amazing person i’ve ever met in my life. nobody could ever take your place. i love you more than words can say. [delete]
yeah, you fucked me over, but i still think you’re great. i don’t know if that says more about me or more about you. i don’t know if that makes me pathetic or kindhearted. i always saw the good in you. [delete]
i know i didn’t always act like you were important to me. i’m sorry for that. i’m sorry i didn’t shove it down your throat every day, tell you that you were worth everything to me; i’m sorry i held your mistakes against you so much. i’m sorry i didn’t realize you were struggling too. [delete]
you’re still the first person i want to tell anything to. like did you hear who our ex-friend is hooking up with? did you see that facebook status? did you see that car crash on route 29? did you know there are more microbes on your body than people on earth? [delete]
i know i said leave but i really meant i’ll be waiting for you to come back. my friends say it’s not permanent; i can go back whenever i want to. i know i can but i left for a reason. it hurts so much that you don’t want me. [delete]
i keep thinking i can convince you to choose me. who wouldn’t want someone who loves them this much? i want to shower you with compliments just so you realize what you lost. [delete]
but i also want you to know you’re special. i want you to know somebody loves you, even if they’re far away. i want you to know how you lifted my spirits by just existing. [delete]
but then i think: where’s my “i love you”? where’s my “thank you for existing”? where’s my “you’re special” and “i appreciate you” and “you’re important to me”? why am i always the one trying to make this work? why don’t you value me? [delete]
you told me you’d always answer my text messages, probably even in your sleep. i can’t believe someone so goddamn beautiful could do such ugly things. [delete]

it sucks how much straight women don’t want to consider lesbians and bi women as fellow women. while straight girls laugh at straight men who say “no homo” and refuse to be affectionate with each other, they adopt similar attitudes; if a girl they know is discovered to be gay or bi, she often loses those opportunities to be affectionate or “one of the girls”. little things, like changing in the locker room (“we’re all girls, we’ve seen it all”) become like warzones where any accidental glance from a gay or bi girl is interpreted as a predatory advance. when gay and bi girls come out, straight women do not trust us. they assume we are just like men and will use similar tactics to try and hit on or ensnare girls in relationships. the mutual respect we once had dissolves as our every movement is scrutinized because, oh my god, what if that lesbian is actually interested in me? crushes in particular are difficult. if you don’t admit to your friend that you might be interested in her, she thinks you’ve betrayed her and secretly been objectifying her against her will. if you do admit it, you’re considered a nasty pervert who doesn’t know how to just be friends with someone. most of the time, it’s hard to decipher for oneself if there is attraction there; for a lot of gay and bi women, we realize that we are attracted to women because those feelings we had for our friends, important women in our life, etc. are actually more than friendship. now we’re demanded to parse out our attractions like its black and white: either we just want to be friends, and we can be trusted, although she may be disappointed a gay girl isn’t interested in her, or we are hopelessly in love and lust, and must be avoided. it’s not always clear cut! it’s not always possible to tell whether feelings for friends are just friendship or more, and most of us have nothing to guide us in our analysis of those feelings!

stop placing these expectations on your gay and bi friends. please, treat us like people, like your other female friends, not predators looking to exploit friendships with innocent straight girls for our gain. we need friends, just like anyone else, and it can be genuinely traumatizing dealing with straight girls who dehumanize us like this. we’re not your fucking enemies, so stop treating us like it.

The Signs as things they need to realize

Aries- you need to realize taking care of yourself first is more important than taking care of others

Taurus- you need to realize that just because zodiacs say you’re supposed to be stubborn doesn’t mean you really have to be that stubborn

Gemini- you need to realize that you’re just as great single and to stop rushing into new relationships

Cancer- you need to realize that the world doesn’t revolve around you and to ask other people how they’re doing every once in a while

Leo- you need to realize that your friends really do like you and to stop second guessing them and yourself

Virgo- you need to realize your body is beautiful and you need to stop hating on it

Libra- you need to realize that you can’t please everyone all the time and that you have to learn to say no

Scorpio- you need to realize you’re good enough and to stop trying to become someone else

Sagittarius- you need to realize how to go with the flow and to stop trying to have control of the world around you

Capricorn-you need to realize that you have to take care of your body, put that book down and get a good nights rest

Aquarius- you need to realize that your mental health is important and shouldn’t be pushed to the back burner

Pisces- you need to realize that it’s impossible to avoid conflict forever and to just say what needs to be said

just because you meant it as a joke doesn’t mean you didn’t do something wrong. i teach preschool and i can’t believe six year olds understand this concept better than adults. if you say something hurtful, you’re the bully, not the person who gets upset. it might feel icky to realize that you do have bigoted beliefs; but when you blow off apologizing with “people who know me know i don’t mean it,” you’re not helping the people you hurt and you’re not changing the way it sounded. why in the heck is it so hard for grown people to just admit they were wrong and apologize for it.

freedom of speech isn’t freedom from consequence and i’ll say it until my blood runs dry. hate speech is also not covered under the first amendment. and again, a concept preschoolers understand: your words are not more important than the safety or comfort of another person.

yes. legally i can’t stop you from printing and screaming whatever you want. but legally you can’t stop me from being angry and responding to it. and if you expect others to just “not get offended” by what you say, you must also expect others not to take you seriously at all! listen. if you understand i can send a child into the hallway for calling another child names, you can wrap your head around the fact you don’t have the right to do and say whatever you want without somebody reacting. this isnt your world, it’s all of ours, and we’re allowed to ask you to leave the classroom. grow up, realize you actually might have done something bigoted - even by “accident” - and change yourself for the better.

and if you’re the type who just throws a hissy fit every time somebody points out you’re being a bully… congratulations. you’re acting like a four-year-old.

“but is it still abuse if the abuser doesn’t seem to realize he’s doing it?”

YES IT IS.
Abuse is defined by the pain and trauma victims go thru, your suffering and fear don’t go down one bit because “abuser may not be aware of what they’re doing”, actually, it goes up! Being tortured by someone who doesn’t care enough to even freaking realize they’re damaging you is much more dehumanizing and emotionally taxing than at least knowing the abuser’s intention clearly and that they’re achieving exactly what they want to achieve. Being lost about abuser’s intentions adds on to the trauma!

It doesn’t matter if they meant to do it or not (in most cases they absolutely meant it or didn’t actually give a shit if they’re hurting you or not as long as they get what they want). Staying safe from this person is important. Stopping the abuse and preventing any future abuse is important. Healing is important. Label the abuser with whatever you need that helps you to heal. Forget abuser’s side of the story and focus on yours. What they agree or disagree, what they’re aware or aren’t aware isn’t nearly as important as stopping that person from harming you, and preventing them from hurting you ever again.

If Jane Austen wrote The Empire Strikes Back:

He dueled him for many a long minute, and then trapping him at the end of a gantry, removed his hand from his wrist. Luke was surprised, but said not a word beyond his cry of pain. After a silence of several minutes, Vader came towards him in an agitated manner, and thus began,

“In vain have I struggled. It will not do. My feelings will not be repressed. You must allow me to offer you a place at my side to throw down the Emperor and reign over this galaxy.”

Luke’s astonishment was beyond expression. He stared, coloured, doubted, and was silent. This Vader considered sufficient encouragement, and the avowal of all that he felt immediately followed. He spoke well, but there were feelings besides those of the heart to be detailed, and he was not more eloquent on the subject of tenderness than of ambition.

“You do not yet realize your importance, and only now have begun to discover your power. Join me and I will complete your training. With our combined strength, we can end this destructive conflict and bring order to the galaxy.”

In spite of his deeply-rooted dislike, Luke could not be insensible to the compliment of such a Sith Lord’s offer, though his intentions did not vary for an instant. He attempted to compose himself to answer Vader with patience as per the training Yoda had attempted to instill, but the pain from the end of his arm and the longstanding list of offenses against his friends gave Luke great trouble in this manner, and he replied thusly,

“In such cases as this, it is, I believe, the established mode to express a sense of obligation for the sentiments avowed. It is natural that obligation should be felt, and if I could feel gratitude, I would now thank you. But I cannot – I have never desired your good opinion, and you have certainly bestowed it most unwillingly. I will never join you.”

Darth Vader, who was leaning against the railing of the gantry with the gaze of his mask fixed on Luke’s face, seemed to catch his words with no less resentment than surprise. His fist tightened with anger, and the disturbance of his mind was visible in every movement. He was struggling for the appearance of composure, and would not speak, till he believed himself to have attained it. The pause was to Luke’s feelings dreadful. At length, in a voice of forced calmness, he said,

“And this is all the reply which I am to have the honour of expecting! I might, perhaps, wish to be informed why, with so little endeavour at civility, I am thus rejected. But it is of small importance.”

“I might as well enquire,” replied Luke, “why, with so evident a design of offending and insulting me, you chose to hand me this offer after removing my own? Was not this some excuse for incivility, if I was uncivil? But I have other provocations. You know I have. Had not my own feelings decided against you, had they been indifferent, or had they even been favourable, do you think that any consideration would tempt me to accept the offer of the Sith Lord, who has been the means of hunting my friends across the galaxy?”

He paused, and saw with no slight indignation that Vader was listening with an air which proved him wholly unmoved by any feeling of remorse.

“Can you deny that you have done it?” Luke asked.

With assumed tranquillity he then replied, “I have no wish of denying it. I have done everything in my power to crush the Rebellion and rejoice in my successes.“

Luke disdained the appearance of noticing this civil reflection, but its meaning did not escape, nor was it likely to conciliate, him.

"But it is not merely this affair,” Luke continued, “on which my dislike is founded. Long before it had taken place, my opinion of you was decided. Your character was unfolded in the recital which I received many months ago from Obi-Wan Kenobi. On this subject, of my father, what can you have to say?”

“You took an eager interest in that Jedi’s explanations,” said Vader in a less tranquil tone, and with a heightened colour.

“Who that knows what his understanding of the Force has been, can help feeling an interest in his worldview?”

“The Force” repeated Darth Vader contemptuously; “yes, the Light Side of the Force is great indeed. I am convinced in my knowledge that Obi-Wan never told you what happened to your father.”

“He told me enough,” cried Luke with energy. “You have long ago killed him!”

“No” said Vader, as he leaned across the railing towards Luke, “I am your father. Examine your feelings; you know it to be true.”

Luke felt himself growing more ashamed at this revelation, and despite his utmost efforts, a distraught denial left his mouth.

“You can destroy the Emperor,” continued Vader. “He has forseen this, and this is the estimation that I hold you in: it is your destiny. If you would but join me, together we can rule the galaxy as father and son. Come with me; it is the only way.”

Trapped as he was on the end of the gantry, it was clear what decision lay ahead for Luke, and again his intentions remained unaltered. With a calm descending upon him, Luke spoke with composure when he said,

“You are mistaken, Vader, if you suppose that your entrapment of me will mean the entrapment of my loyalty. From the very beginning, your actions, impressing me with the fullest belief of your arrogance, your murders, and your imprisonment and torture of a young woman, were such as to form so immoveable a dislike that I had not known you a day before I felt that you were the last man in the world whom I could ever be prevailed on to call father.”

To conclude his statement, and provide great shock to Vader, Luke stepped off the gantry.

“Yes, Jimin, I am serious. What would make you think otherwise?” Your tone was bitter, anger flooding through you and exiting in the form of words. There was no other way for you to release it so you just had to deal with trying your best to stay calm and not completely flip out on your boyfriend. Jimin sighed loudly before speaking again, causing you to turn around and look at him.

“She was just a fan, fan’s get close. It’s not my fault.” He argued. You rolled your eyes, feeling more anger rise at the fact that he was trying to defend himself over this. The picture had been all over twitter and it seemed that ARMY’s were going crazy over it. They had been tweeting it at you, waiting for some kind of reaction, but you held back until the moment he got home and you could confront him about it.

“It’s your fault that you didn’t try to ask her to move, and it’s your fault that you didn’t mention me, you know, your girlfriend.” You said.

“God you always get like this.” Jimin’s tone surprised you, and you couldn’t help but feel a little taken aback by his words. There wasn’t anything about it that was very different, just a slight undertone of frustration that you weren’t used to. Jimin was always calm with you, even now while you were practically yelling at you he was keeping his normal tone.

10 Tips for Writing (Good) Smut

so. let’s do this.

About a year ago, I had to read a book for my school’s summer reading assignment called How to Read Literature Like a Professor by Thomas Foster. It’s not a bad book, pretty decent actually, but there was this one chapter about sex scenes in literature. And one of the first sentences was along the lines of “writing sex is boring.”

and I did a double-take. Bc in my experience, that is absolutely not the case, and if you do find yourself bored while writing smut, then you’re not doing it right. See, Thomas’s main argument was that there’s only so many ways you can write sex scenes, because there’s only so many sex acts you can choose from. (My boy Thomas is clearly a vanilla dude, but let’s not hold that against him.)

But one of the most important things to keep in mind while writing smut is that it’s not necessarily just about the act itself. So while Thomas is right that there are limits as to how many ways ppl can have sex, he failed to realize that writing sex is about a LOT more than that. And I’m gonna prove it to you.

It’s been a week since your sisters Valentine’s Day dinner. And the moment you made it to your apartment, you kept your distance from Steve.

The feelings you had for him were not only confusing, but painful. You couldn’t be with him. You couldn’t damage the friendship you two had because of things didn’t work out, you knew everything would change.

You were in love with your best friend. The biggest cliche of them all. Something you would always tease. But here you were.

Steve called you everyday since the dinner. Not knowing what was going on. He even knocked on your door a couple of times. But you never answered.

You were terrified.

He left voicemails on your phone, asking you to call him back. Telling you how much he misses you and wants you to talk to him.

It was the hardest thing to do, to push him away.

—–

“Shit! I’m going to be late!” You yelped as you shot up in bed.

Quickly, you threw whatever you had near you, on and pulled your hair up in a messy bun.

It was your first day back to work since the dinner, and you couldn’t be late.

You were an assistant for one of the biggest fashion designer in New York City. And she wasn’t one to be late for.

As you opened the door to leave, you tripped over something, almost knocking you over. “Ow!”

“What the hell?” You groaned.

Looking back, you felt your breath hitch to the back of your throat. Your body stiffened as your eyes met his.

“Just beat me up why don’t you.” Steve slightly chuckled, pulling himself up off the ground.

“W-What’re you d-doing here?” You stuttered.

Steve crossed his arms over his chest, his stare more intense than it was before.

“I’m making sure my best friend is okay.” He said. “Why haven’t you answered any of my calls? Or texts?”

You swallowed hard and immediately averted your eyes else where as you turned your back to him.

“I’ve been busy.” You lied.

“Too busy to send a quick text back?” He asked. “Did I do something? Did I screw up the dinner? What the hell happened?”

You didn’t want him to find out the real reason why you’ve been ignoring his calls. Which you decided to play it cool.

“You did nothing wrong.” You stated. “I’ve just been busy. My sister had me running around the city with her, planning her stupid wedding.” Part of that was true, but it was always just for a couple of hours.

Steve studied your face for bluff. His brows scrunched together as if he were thinking of something.

Until a smile crept on his lips and his stare softened. “Ok good. I thought I did something.” He chuckled. “I’ve missed you though. I never knew how boring my life is without you until now.”

You playfully rolled your eyes and shook your head. “Stop being dramatic. It was only a week.” You teased. “But seriously, I have to go before I’m late.”

As you were about to walk away, you felt his hand tug at yours.

“Come over tonight. I’ll order Chinese and we can watch pirates of the Caribbean.” He smiled.

You wanted to come up with some excuse. But you had nothing.

“Before you could even say no, im going to leave.” Steve chuckled. “I’ll see you tonight. And say hi to Satan for me.”

And just like that, he was gone.

Your were finally able to let out a long breath, which you didn’t even know you were holding.

A part of you was happy to see him, to feel him again. But the other part wanted to scream.

Today was going to be a long day.

—–
(9 hours later)

“So what’re you going to do tonight?” Riley asked as she swung her purse over her shoulder. Ready to leave for the day.

You shrugged your shoulders and yawned. “Going to Steve’s for some Chinese.”

Riley smiled at the name. Ever since she met Steve at your birthday party last year, she had this small thing for him. But who could blame her?

“That sounds fun.” She stated. “You’re so lucky to have a guy like him. I remember just how funny and sweet he was at your party. How long have you two been dating?”

“What? N-No, he and I are just friends.” You muttered. “Nothing more.”

“Oh wow, I thought you two were together. My mistake.”

“It’s okay. He’s just my best friend.” You reassured her.

Riley bit on her lower lip, her fingers twisting her hair as if she were nervous. “Well if you two aren’t dating, would it be okay if I talked to him?”

Your stomach dropped, a spark of jealousy ignited in you and as much as you wanted to say no. To tell her he’s all yours, you didn’t.

You knew you couldn’t be with him. You knew you had to ignore these feelings.

“What’re you doing tonight?” You asked.

—–

Steve was so excited to spend the night with you. To be with you again.

The entire week, when he was alone he realized just how important you were. He realized how much he wanted to see you and suddenly, his feelings for you grew.

He wanted tonight to be special.

Steve wasn’t someone who acted on his feelings until now. When he saw you today, he wanted nothing more than to pull you in and kiss you again.

But he wanted to do it right. This was the first time he had ever felt this way for someone.

The knock at his door made his stomach flutter. Not only was he excited to hang out with you, he was nervous.

“You got this.” He whispered to himself.

As he opened the door, his smile twitched. “R-Riley?”

“Hey.” She smirked.

Part Three

  • what she says: i'm fine
  • what she means: Grovyle saying that you and you partner are "the greatest of combinations" as he is taking himself and Dusknoir back to the future is actually the saddest thing in the entire game. When you were a human, it was you and Grovyle who made a perfect team, but when you became a Pokemon and met your partner everything changed. Grovyle realized how great a team you were and that perhaps your partner was more important to you than him. And when he says that you're the greatest combination, he understands that he isn't as important to you as he once was. He realized that you found a true friend in your partner and that you need to be on their team, not his. He understands that the team of just you and Grovyle is gone and won't come back, and then just goes back to the future Dusknoir. I cry over Grovyle every day
The Problem with Fujoshis (aka Straight Women who are Obsessed with Gay Men)

1. They’re Obsessed with Gay Men Getting Abused: I’m fine with people wanting to explore dark subject matter in fan fiction but oh my god, straight women have got to stop with this disgusting obsession with seeing gay men in abusive situations. It’s disgusting and also just really disturbing

2. They’re Racist: When it comes to a lot these ships, it’s rare to see any black men. IT’s usually two white dudes. Now if the ship features a Japanese man, it gets worse because its stereotypes galore!

3. Biphobia, Panphobia and Transphobia: These women are basically fine with gay men and that’s it. Apparently, bisexuals, pansexuals, and transmen aren’t sexy enough for them.

4. Also Lots of Sexism: I don’t see this happening as much as it used to but a lot of writers would just straight off kill a woman because she solely got in the way of a gay romance. Today, they just hate on female characters for no good reason and try to disguise it with extremely flawed ‘opinons.’

5. Obsession with Incest: Do I have to explain this one?

6. They Think Shipping is All About Them: Every time people bring up problems concerning shipping, these ‘fujoshis’ make it all about them. No, this is not about you and no is shaming you for your fantasies. We’re shaming you because you don’t realize what you’re doing is harmful and if you do realize it’s harmful, you don’t care. Gay men deserve to have good stories. That’s the bottom line. This wouldn’t be an issue if straight women stopped being so goddamn selfish. The feelings of gay men are much more important than your porn.
