Sharing two tips that helped me properly get into #bridgepose. A great pose to prepare my back for deeper backbends. 😁 1) Toes pointing straight, fingertips touch heels.
2) Robot arms, push down on elbows, bring shoulder blades in and create natural curve in lower back.
3) Push up outer hips faster than inner thighs to a full bridge!

Camatkarasna yoga pose tutorial.
I have broken this asana into bits for beginners to the more advanced posture for those who wish to master it.
Many wonderful benefits to this pose but sometimes we can struggle with opening our hips and pushing forward to get into this pose. It’s a huge opener and can also open you up emotionally in the hips and heart space. So just take your time and do it in your own time. Please only do what is safe for you right now! Not last year or 10 years ago just today!

Benefits: Opens hip flexors, legs, shoulders and chest.
Helps with depression and fatigue also.
