A lot of women of a certain age dislike their arms. I have spent a lot of time feeling the same way (I’m of healthy Eastern European descent). THEN I started doing yoga (note that I have always run, cycled, lifted etc). BUT it’s the Yoga! Now I love my shoulders and arms, yeah.
took a yoga class at yoga pearl in portland today… it was my first time practicing yoga outside of new york! I couldn’t be away from my mat for a whole week :) the studio is awesome- it even has a vegan cafe inside of it!
after yoga my mom and I ate dinner at prasad, the vegan cafe inside of yoga pearl. i had the grasshopper smoothie (spinach, spirulina, parsley, apple, and ginger), steamed kale, and house made apple sauce! the smoothie was so good! I need to try to recreate it.
