Last night Caps’ prospect Yevgeni Kuznetsov (2010 first round, 26th overall) had a nine-point night (three goals, six assists) in Russia’s 14-0 win over Latvia in the 2012 World Junior Championships. Kuznetsov was named the team captain and is the Caps only prospect competing in this year’s tournament. The prospect was named the game’s best player and tallied the second-highest single-game point total in the tournament’s history.
