(Unpopular?) Opinion: Amethyst deserves her own big solo song. Garnet's got "Stronger than You" and Pearl's got "It's Over, Isn't It?" The only solo song Ame's got so far is "Tower of Mistakes," and that didn't have nearly as much of an impact on the fandom as the other two.


I also really wanna see an Amethyst and Steven duet- have them singing out their issues together! I just really love both their singing voices, and it’s been a while since either of them really got to do it.

A continuation of my soldier!bellamy fic for @nathenmiller. This is just a little fluffy drabble because I’m working on a longer second part that will get quite angsty.

Clarke watched what could only be described as chaos in her beloved art gallery with wide, horrified eyes. Monty stood next to her with a grim look on his face.

“You signed off on this,” he reminded her.

“I signed off on a small gathering,” Clarke said quickly, shaking her head. “This is not small.”

There were at least thirty workers putting together tables piled with extravagant food and drink. Clarke could see her mother’s campaign manager on the other side of the room instructing the caterers on how everything should look. He was keeping a safe distance from her. They still didn’t see eye-to-eye and Clarke had been told by her mother to at least be civil with him more than once.

“How many people are coming to this thing?” Monty wondered.

She shrugged helplessly. When she agreed to host an event for her mother’s campaign at her gallery, Clarke thought that it would be a few high profile people who might agree to donate money. Not every rich person Abby Griffin had ever met. When they placed a table full of champagne glasses far too near to one of her favorite pieces in the room, Clarke turned away.

“I’m going to lock myself away in my office and pretend like none of this is happening,” she said miserably. “Tell me if someone needs me to sign something.”

The Proposal (Sequel)

Jughead took a deep breath and knocked on the Cooper’s front door.

He was fiddling with his pants pockets when Hal Cooper opened the door. 

“Jughead!” He exclaimed, opening the door wide. “What a nice surprise. Come in!” 

“Thank you, sir,” Jughead smiled nervously, walking inside.

“Jughead,” Alice said when she saw him, annunciating every letter. “To what do we owe this pleasure?”

When Jughead and Betty started officially dating, Alice wasn’t too welcoming. She didn’t want Betty to make the same ‘mistake’ Polly had, and became very protective. 

Eventually, though, she came around. She saw that Jughead didn’t want to rush things, didn’t have bad intentions. He just needed someone and her daughter needed him back.

She saw their love grow over the years. She softened, somehow, and treated Betty better.

Jughead shoved his hands in his pockets and faced the Coopers. “I wanted to talk to you both.”

“Okay, son, let’s talk then.” Hal smiled, ushering him into the living room.

“Can I get you anything to drink?” Alice offered.

Jughead shook his head, sitting down in the living room. He pressed his slick palms against his thighs.

He took a deep breath. “You know how much I love your daughter…” He started.

Hal furrowed his brows. “Yes…”

“Well, I want to keep loving her for the rest of my life. I want her to be mine, and I want to be hers, forever. I want to ask for your permission…” He took another breath. “to ask for Betty’s hand in marriage?”

“Are you kidding?” Hal smiled.

Jughead blanched.

“We love you, Jughead.” Alice smiled.

“Of course you have our permission, son.” Hal laughed. He sat closer to Jughead, reaching to shake his hand.

Jughead smiled, shaking Hal’s hand in return. “You scared me for a second, there.”

Hal shook his head. “Sorry, sorry, you caught us off guard. I always just assumed one day, you’d marry Betty. That’s it. I didn’t know you’d consider asking us first.”

Alice shook her head, smiling in agreement. 

“I couldn’t imagine marrying someone without asking their parents first,” Jughead shrugged. “It’s just something I’ve always planned on doing.”

“What about the ring?” Alice said excitedly.

“I’ve been eyeing one for weeks now. Round blush diamond - I didn’t want to buy it before asking your permission, though.” Jughead laughed.

Jughead stood up, hugging each of them.

“Bring her over as soon as she says yes?” Alice asked, her eyes twinkling.

Jughead nodded. “I promise.”

“Naruto never loved Sakura because of his rivalry to Sasuke.”

I literally hear that almost every time since after the movie came out back then. Since it’s canon, we “have” to accept it. But it’s not possible because in the manga we just got told over and over again that Naruto indeed had feelings for Sakura.

It’s a bit of a long rant, that’s why I’ve put it under “read more”.

‘Oh, c'mon Y/N it’ll be fun!’ Y/F/N yelled out as she was trying to convince me to go to a stupid birthday party.
'You know it won’t, after all it is her party’ she knew exactly who I meant by that,  
'She is Harry’s girlfriend and you have to give her a chance, I know how you feel about him but still. Go get dressed, we won’t stay long, I promise. Just a few drinks.’

I got up from my bed and looked in my closet. I decided to wear a sexy black dress and red high heels. Y/F/N helped me do my make up and we headed to the party. On the way there I was thinking about Harry, he seems to be the only thing I think about these past few months. I like him a lot, but obviously he does not feel the same considering he has a girlfriend he has been dating for three months. She’s not really using him, but she is annoying as hell.
As soon as we got to the party I looked for booze and poured myself whiskey and went to look around to find someone familiar. I found Ed Sheeran standing next to the staircase by himself.  

'Can I join you? I lost Y/F/N and you seem to be the only one I know here’  
'Oh, thank god, finally someone who’s cool, please do.’
'Haha, nice. How have you been? Haven’t seen you for a while.’
'Oh, busy but not anymore. We should defiantly go grab a coffee soon to catch up’

I felt someone’s hand on my arm and saw Harry smiling.  

'How is it that every time I see you you’re more and more beautiful?’ He asked with his cheeky smile.
'I don’t know, you tell me.’ I said as we hugged and then he said hi to Ed

The night went on and so did my drinking, to the point I couldn’t walk a straight line anymore but that didn’t stop me really. The only downer was the constant peeing. I always pee a lot when I drink. Once again I made my way to the bathroom on the second floor that was off limits to most people.  
I really didn’t feel like going down right away because I would have to come up again in few minutes so I went into Harry’s room and laid on his bed for a while. It seems that that a while was longer than I thought because Harry came up the stairs.

'Here you are, thought something happened to you.’ He said  
'Oh, I just didn’t feel like going down right away.’  
'Are you okay?’  

He said laying down next to me and I just nodded my head. His arm was touching mine. And through al that smoke he still smelled like he always does.  
We started talking about everything that came to our mind. The topics got deeper and more meaningful by the minute. He turned around to face me and went quiet. I was thinking about what we said last and then turned to him.

'Before, I really meant what I said’ he said
'What exactly?’
'That you are beautiful’  
'Thank you’ I said with almost a whisper  

We looked each other for a second and his face was getting closer to mine. I could feel his breath on my skin and soon enough I felt his lips on mine. I didn’t register what was going on right away and by the time I did he was already on top of me. I didn’t care about the fact that he was taken. I didn’t care about the fact that there was a party going on. I didn’t care that anyone could walk in on us. And neither did Harry.

As I laid naked in his bed I started thinking about what had happened and what we had done. Even though it was unbelievably good I felt guilty and ashamed. I got out of bed and got dressed. Harry had already fallen asleep so at least this wasn’t awkward.  

I looked for Y/F/N and instead of her I bumped into her, his girl.  

'Have you seen Harry? He’s seemed to disappear somewhere’
'Nope, I got sick from all the booze so I spent most of my evening in the bathroom, sorry.’

I spotted Y/F/N and ran to her grabbed her by the hand and pulled her out.  

'I need you to tell me that I’m an awful person!’
'Okay… Y/N, you are an awful person..’
'Thank you’
'And why am I calling you that?’
'I…um, I slept with Harry’
'No way?!OMG, let’s go home so you can tell me everything’

When we got home I told her everything and then we went to bed. It helped a bit the fact that she didn’t actually think that I was an awful person.  I needed to talk to Harry tomorrow.  

Next day as soon as I woke up I got ready and wanted to leave the apartment but I saw Y/F/N and Harry sitting on the couch. Y/F/N got up and left.

'We need to talk about yesterday’
'I agree, I understand if you don’t want to see me ever again and that shouldn’t have happened. I mean, you are in a relationship and this was a terrible thing to do and I don’t think it should ever happen again. It was a mistake.’
'Well, that’s one way to look at it…’
'What’s the other?’
'That it wasn’t a mistake. I like you a lot, and I want a real shot of happiness. With you.’
'What does that mean Harry?’  
'I broke up with Cindy, told her what happened and just broke it off… I have liked you for a while now’
'You  do?’  
'Yes.. So, would you like to give us a try?
'I would love to.’

Elementary - What I'd Like To See

When are the Elementary showrunners going to realize that it’s a show about Joan Watson, a 40-something year old, very successful, woman of color, who decided to change the course of her life and embark on something new, challenging, and exciting for herself? Sherlock is her friend, an amazing character, of course, and I love his characterization and choices they made for him on Elementary, I do. And JLM, a dreamboat. But this time, it’s not just him. He’s been done. It’s Joan Watson’s story now. She is the role model we need. Strong, body confident, so intelligent, doesn’t take any shit, yes. But also caring, and forgiving, and she makes mistakes, and she learns from them, and she moves on. Watson has always been the heart to Holmes’ head, but here we have the chance for them to learn from each other in a modern and relevant way, relevant to our lives, how to make us the viewer into better people. Joan Watson gives me hope that I can be just as smart as her, as fashionable, as confident, as empathetic as she is while still remaining a whole person.
I want Elementary to be her show.

He knows that once he reaches his mother, (Y/N) can be taken care of and Four refuses to leave her side until that happens.

Your legs are getting heavier. All your body is aching, actually, but you have to keep running. Gunshots can be heard and they’re not too far. Eric is restless, hunting you and your friends. You’re scared, no need to fake that. Four is right by your side, forcing you to keep your pace. Too fast. When you finally reach an open field, everyone stops suddenly.

“Why did you stopped, Four? We need to keep running.” Christina argues, too desperate, just like you.

“We have to wait for the next train.”

“They’re getting closer!”

“We don’t have a choice.” Four takes your hand but you barely feel him touching you. “Be ready.”

“I’m always ready, don’t worry.”

You hear the train before seeing it. But then you hear it, a shout and more gunshots. You all start running again, hoping to get inside the train before falling dead on the ground. Eric is fast, he’ll be the first to reach you if anyone dares to slow down. You look over your shoulder to locate him. He’s near. Near enough to shoot someone’s head.

“Eric is catching up! Get in the train now!” You yell, trying to be heard above the noise.

They start to jump in and you stay behind with Four to make sure they’re alive. You hear Four shouting for you to go first. And that’s what you do. But at the same moment you jump, you feel a sting on your side. You almost fall, but Peter and Christina pull you up.

“(Y/N), God, are you ok?” Christina helps you sit, but you lay down instead, the pain taking over you.

When Four arrives, he doesn’t look at you, but at those strange people. You haven’t noticed anyone else, but now you can see them. Their colorful clothes and their strange weapons. Factionless. You keep your mouth shut as they threat Four. A fight is just about o begin and you can’t even stand up.

“Four!” Is Peter who makes him finally turn around and notice you.

“What happened?” He kneels beside you, a hand on your forehead.

“Eric shoot me. But I’m fine.” You struggle to sit down, but a groan escapes your lips as you fall back.

“Don’t move. Let me see.” Four moves your shirt up carefully, but it still hurts you. “We need to… It’s bad. The bullet is still inside you.”

“Take it off, then.”

“We can’t, not here.”

You watch him as he stands up with a serious expression.

“We don’t have to fight. I need to get her to somewhere safe right now. And you’ll take me there.”

“Why would I help you or her? Give a very good reason.”

“I am Tobias Eaton. Is that a good reason?”

“Four, what the… ”

“Keep still, you’ll be fine, I promise.” You can hardly see him when he comes back to your side. Everything goes black.

You have this nightmare. You scream in pain so loud that you throat burns. Then you fall asleep again.

When you open your eyes, your boyfriend is sitting on the edge of the improvised bed, smiling at you.

“Where am I?”

“Evelyn helped us. Helped you.” He slowly moves to your side, so you can lay your head on his shoulder.

“The bullet?”

“Is out of you. You screamed so hard I thought you wouldn’t… ”

“Survive? I’m a tough girl, I can take it.” You giggle, trying not to move too much.

“I know. I’m proud of you.”

“I’m sorry. You just told them your real name because of me and I’m so sorry, Tobias. I didn’t mean to…” You raise your head a little, so you can look into his eyes.

“There’s nothing I wouldn’t do to keep you alive. We will find a way out of this chaos together. ” Tobias leans forward and peck your lips.

“There you are.” Evelyn enters the room, speaking loud to make sure you hear it. “Tobias, my son, I need to talk to you.”

“I’m not leaving her.”

“You’ve been with her since you jumped off that train. I want your company as well.” The tone of her voice make it clear that she’s not asking. “I’m sure your… girlfriend will be fine.”

“I already told you but I’ll say it again. I won’t leave her.”

“Tobias, I am your mother. This girl will be fine with or without you.” Evelyn stares at you with anger. You and Four sigh together. If she only knew a bit about your relationship, she wouldn’t lose her time.

“Yes. A mother who abandoned her son.” Tobias moves to get comfortable, your head now laying on his chest. “I love her and I won’t leave her alone. Now do me a favor and leave us.”

“I don’t like your mother.” You say after Evelyn is gone.

“Don’t think about her. Just… try to rest. I love you.”

“I love you too, Tobias.”

Being touched by a case is good, everyone said it, and Y/n believed them. She was touched by a lot of cases, and sometimes she wondered if her fragile heart could manage anymore cases. We need to ask all the babysitting services if someone fits the profile.” Aaron said. “Travel in duo’s. Derek, you with me.” He said, walking out. 

Y/n and Spencer sat in the car, Y/n was driving. She felt like they had a little more time, but drove as fast as she could to the adres Garcia mailed her. “The baby was really cute, wasn’t it?” Spencer started. Y/n smiled. “Yeah, I thought so too. She will be at the office until we know if there is anyone who can take her. “You know, this maybe isn’t the right time, but I thought we maybe could start a family sometime soon. We can take some time of…” Y/n cut him off, not having the heart to tell him. “You are right. This isn’t the right time.” She spat, taking a turn more aggressively then needed. 


after hours of driving, asking and giving numbers, Y/n and Spencer had asked seven babysit services. They were both tires, but Y/n didn’t want to leave the office. “I am going to check on the baby.” She said, packing Spencers lips. She walked in, a woman with black hair and a stern face looking at her. “I came to check on the baby.” She said, slightly whispering, not wanting to wake the baby. “You can feed her.” The woman said, nodding her head to the crib. Y/n smiled and nodded. “Thank you.” She said, walking to the small kitchen area behind. It’s not actually a kitchen, just a sink, a small fridge and a microwave with a small cabinet. Opening the cabinet, Y/n took out the container with the milk powder and a drink bottle. Filling the bottle with water, adding some powder and putting it in the microwave. The beeping sound was soon to be heard and Y/n took out the bottle, checking if it wasn’t to hot. Taking the baby girl out her bed, she sat down and gave her the bottle. “Yes, food. Is it good?” She asked as her bright blue eyes looked at her. “You have really pretty eyes, little lady. “ She smiled at the baby, patiently waiting for her to finish her bottle. “I’m sorry to ask, but I really need to make a call. Would you be okay with watching her for a moment?” The woman asked, showing her phone. “Yeah, sure. Can I get her name? If you know that.” Y/n asked, looking up from the baby. “Isobell. It means Pledged to God. it fits her rather well.” The woman smiled for the first time since Y/n entered the room and left. “So, your name is Isobell? What did your parents call you? Bell? Izzy?” Y/n smiled and put away the drinking bottle, since it was empty. “I’m going to call you Izzy.” She whispered, holding the baby up, slightly over her shoulder to make her burp. Y/n slowly walked around, cradling the baby to sleep. Without noticing, Y/n started to hum a song, even softly singing along. She smiled, looking at the baby who’s eyes were starting to flutter back open, fighting the sleep. She began singing the song her mother used to sing to her, her mother sang that song to her when she was a baby, but it stuck. “Rock-a-bye, baby, in a treetop. When the wind blows, the cradle will rock. When the bough breaks, the cradle will fall. But mama will catch you. Cradle and all. Baby is drowsing, cozy and fair. Mother sits near, in her rocking chair. Forwards and back. The cradle she swings. And though baby sleeps, he heats what she sings. Hush a bye baby, up in the sky. On a soft cloud it’s easy to fly. Angles keep watch, over as you sleep. So hush a bye baby, don’t make a peep. Rock a bye baby, do not you fear. Never mind baby, mother is near. Wee little fingers, eyes shut tight. Now sound asleep, until morning light.” Y/n smiled down at the baby, who was asleep and had the edge of her jacket in her hand. She smiled, enjoying this moment, not thinking about not being able to feel this again. Not with her own child. 

Spencer stood in front of the window looking in the children room. Y/n was slightly rocking a baby, who had fallen asleep. He had heard her sing a soft song, he had seen her warm smile. Why didn’t she want children? Was she afraid of them getting hurt? Did something happen what she didn’t dare to tell him? She had always avoided the topic children, she was clever, but it wasn’t long until the boy, who knew her better than anyone else, noticed her avoiding the topic like a death fear. He could only guess, try to profile her. But she was good in hiding her feelings, in making a poker face. Her nerves were like steel, she would seem unaffected if you held a gun to her head after shooting three people. She was the one who never backed down for a fight, she was an aggressive woman. Why didn’t she want to talk about kids? She was so good with them, he now saw it. He barely noticed that the girl noticed him looking. She had laid the small girl in her crib and walked to him. “Hello.” She said with a smile. “Hello.” He answered. “You are good with baby’s.” He pointed out. She shrugged. “I guess so. Why were you looking at me? Making a profile again?” She asked jokingly. “Yes, actually. Why don’t you want children?” He said. “Who said I didn’t want them?” She spat at him. “Well, you are pretty good at avoiding the topic.” He said, trying not to get angry. She looked like she would fight him, and he knew she would. She would win that fight, either with words or with fists, she would always win. However, as Y:n wanted to say something, probably ‘Fight me.’ To be honest, the woman came back. “I’m sorry, it was a little bit long. Is Isobell asleep?” Y/n nodded, her angry expression melting, just as fast as it came. “Yes, she is. I will check on her later, if that’s alright.” The woman looked suspicious. “They are contacting her grandma, she’s the only one willing to take her in. I don’t know if she’s capable of doing so, so feel free to check in. She will probably leave tomorrow.” The woman quietly walked in the room. Spencer seemed like je wanted to pick up the fight again, but Hotch opened a door and called for them. “We know where is is going.”

Girls final season: Hannah & Adam

With the final season of Girls here (a show that there isn’t typically a disk sitting in my Blue Ray player ready to go) I am very sad. As I listen to the music used in the show, certain songs remind me of favorite scenes. Seriously, I feel like openly crying. (I probably will a few times before I get over it.) I am going to REALLY miss seeing new episodes, but at the same time, thankful that I was able to discover this show and the brilliant mind that is Lena Dunham. To have a woman listed as Creator, Writer, Director, Producer, Actress…we need to see a lot more of this.

In a recent interview, Adam Driver assured us that season 6 is “ending on a note that they can control, that it seemed to make sense. It’s not just an arbitrary ending.” Lena recently said her and Jenni made “hard” decisions this season. I used to think that I wouldn’t be satisfied unless Hannah and Adam got back together. I mean, after all, the show did spend a hell of a lot of time with the ins and outs of these two, but now I am thinking a show like this will probably not end easy in many ways and not in a “happily ever after” way either. I think we will see the girls grow, but at the same time, I am not so sure that includes Hannah, or even Jessa, ending up with anyone. The show is ultimately about these girls and their friendships after all, and in the long run, they really don’t like anything getting in the way of that friendship…..including a man.

For some reason, in season 5, the egomaniacal Hannah is the biggest mess ever. As an aspiring writer, we know about her endless desire to pursue interests and different experiences for a good story. This has led her at times to be self-centered and self-destructive, however, it seems like lately, she has been trying extra hard to just test everything. Showing her crotch to her boss, trying to blow Ray, the ridiculous fights with Fran (“Oh, Hannah wants to do something rude, disruptive, and inappropriate. What a twist.”) and her talent to bring unprofessionalism in the work place to (an albeit hilarious) new high, are a few examples of the more, irrational ways Hannah has been acting out. It was all heading towards her growing and taking a big step forward in her life. Besides where she wants to go, what she wants to do as she gets older, one truth she has to face, I believe, is her lingering feelings for Adam.

Adam. In the first season, he starts out as sort of a creepy, “emotionally tone-deaf” sex addict that Hannah was in pursuit of. We wondered why she was bothering with him as he was not exactly “boyfriend material”. He was working on homemade “wood working” in his work shop which was his mess of an apartment. (Not so sure the genius even had a plan on how to get that boat out of the front door if he ever completed it!) He was just this non-committal guy that Hannah would have sex with when he felt like returning her text messages or answering his phone. (For the first 6 episodes, we weren’t even sure if he owned a shirt!) None of Hannah’s friends had ever met him, and the first proof of his exsistance to Marnie (besides the occasional bruise on Hannah’s ass) was a dick pic he accidentally sent to Hannah that wasn’t even meant for her!

As a couple, we get to see Adam grow more as a character we care about. He is still quirky and intense, but having Hannah to give advice to, share his interests with and love, helped make him a better person. A person we cared about and found intriguing as well. When he does do something as normal as eventually say “I love you” or suggest that they move in together, Hannah (after being conditioned to expect anything from him from bad treatment to extreme sweetness) reacts like it’s way too soon for either one of them. It was all moving too quickly for her and I don’t think she trusted him yet, or wanted the newness of the chase to be over. Adam had his mind made up with his tunnel vision and he was in it “for the long haul” so of course, he has a hard time with their first break up: “My desire for you cannot be repressed. And to quit my pursuit would be to shirk self-respect and abandon my own manhood, and that’s not going to happen.” He wrote and performed horrible (hilarious) songs which he sent her to watch and was kind of stalkerish for a bit. It proved to be very hard for him to let go. Not too sure if he ever really does. So we have Adam trying to feverishly move forward without totally letting Hannah heal from his past not-so-nice treatment, and we have Hannah kind of playing with his emotions and not really being too empathetic to his state of mind.

Regardless of Hannah’s self-absorption (all the Girls seem to have this issue from time to time) and Adam’s sometimes callousness, there still seems to be some kind of connection that thrives between them. (“Hannah is accepting of my brand of difficult.”) Adam cleaned up his act some and we get to see him at AA and learn more about what made him tick. While he was dating Natalia, and ran into Hannah in front of the bar, it really did something to him. (I love the way Driver’s voice got all raspy as he asked her to put on some pants.) He, the ex-alcoholic, went back in and after seeing her, had to order an alcoholic beverage, which led to one of the eventual reasons of that relationship coming to an end. The song playing was Fiona Apple’s “Valentine” and it surely wasn’t about Natalia. (Adam messing with his ear like a nervous habit, odd coincidence to what Hannah was going through?) We know now that if Hannah can affect him in this way, then he obviously must have feelings for her. He never stopped loving her in his own way, and he is there for her hard core. As he ran to her across the city during her most desperate time, when she felt the most lost, never fails to bring tears to my eyes. (the heavy mood is lightened a bit when while running, he has to suggest that a driver “go suck a fucking spikey one”) With the dramatic music playing while he runs to Hannah is just so emotional and it is beautiful and very romantic, the most romantic scene ever in Girls. He is there for her. He cares for her. He loves her. “I was always here”.

By season 3 end, Sackler’s acting career turned into his new addiction. Hannah panics at some people warning her of how Adam is going to change with his new career instead of just trusting him and seeing how it all works out. She always has had a knack for taking bad opinions and advice to heart instead of trusting a bit more in herself. She develops a codependency on Adam just when he wants some space to learn his lines and do this right. He just wants his first show on Broadway to be perfect. Of this he assured her. She has a hard time sharing Adam with his new endeavor, because not all of his attention can be on her. When she finally gets accepted into the Iowa Writers’ Workshop, Adam does berate her for telling him at the wrong time, by which he means the wrong time for him. (Although, letting him know minutes before he hits the stage of his opening night show was probably not the best.) Once again, he takes it hard, as did Jessa, which I felt was selfish of her, as she always had a knack of simply disappearing from time to time on her friends. I never really understood the whole guilt trip on Hannah for accepting school and attempting to better her career. It was at this point that I wondered why the girls even kept trying so hard to stay friends. They are not even very nice to each other. Adam and Hannah never officially break up, but seeing the sadness and loss in his eyes as she left was rough. The morning she was leaving, he couldn’t even face saying goodbye. He pretended to still be sleeping. We realized that part of him would always love her.

After trying Iowa, Hannah found she didn’t like the distance away from Adam, (not real sure why they seemed to have stopped communicating) among other factors at the school, and decided to come home, just a month later. Upon returning to her apartment, she shockingly found out that Adam had gotten a new girlfriend and Hannah didn’t even know they’d broken up! Yes, at the same time it was left sort of open ended, but it didn’t seem to have taken him anytime at all to move on. This was heart breaking, her surprise and desperation, truly a very rough episode to watch. We find that Jessa knew about it the whole time while Adam was putting Hannah’s belongings in storage. To make matters worse, she had selfishly worked at hooking Adam up with Mimi Rose simply because she wanted to get with Mimi’s ex, Ace. Some friend, eh? It was so hard watching him basically tell Hannah that he was not in love with her anymore (but we knew better) and he was “trying something out". What a nice surprise to come home to! Mimi Rose was the opposite of Hannah to the extreme, and really didn’t ‘need’ him, she liked having him around. It was a one-sided relationship for the most part, Adam’s side. It was a bad choice for him as he discovered that he does want a partner that loves and needs him a bit more than that. (But maybe not as needy as Hannah) A while after that relationship ended, Adam turns around and begs desperately with Hannah to come back to him. “I just think I was confused, and I think I made a mistake. I miss you so badly.” He tries to reach for her. With how he hurt her so deeply, the wound was still fresh. With her self-respect in full force for once, Hannah says, “I can’t do that” and stands her ground despite Adam’s pleas. He insists “yes, you can” like it should be an easy choice. Did he think she would just come running back to him? With tears in both their eyes, (and ours) it was still nice to see her hold her own and turn him down. Truly a moving scene.

I really enjoy everything about the show, it’s all brilliant, but Hannah and Adam’s relationship, is to me, quite a lot of what makes Girls the show that it is. I cried with Hannah like a baby as her bottom lip quivered in heartache and betrayal when she realized at the play that Adam and Jessa were together. When he made eye contact with her, his look said so much. There was some pain there and just so much not said. Hannah tells Tally she was probably just using Fran to get over Adam and that Adam is the only man she’s ever truly loved. (a bit of foreshadowing)  She was feeling left out and confused, “The worst part is, I miss them both. I love them both so much I don’t know who to warn about the other one.”

The end of season 5, Adam (who sure has come along way since we first met him) has like the biggest, most outrageous reaction anytime Hannah is mentioned, it’s like he is trying so, so hard to break that connection to her. He tries to turn it into hatred and blame. Then there is Jessa, who at the same time, got a guilty conscience, dredging everything back up to the surface when he is trying to forget Hannah. Jessa, who constantly over the seasons has a knack for telling other people to “grow up” but seems to not be capable of taking her own advice. She and Adam butt heads over everyday things and can’t even get through babysitting his niece. When Jessa cannot illicit his total attention away from the baby after it barfs on her and she wants Adam’s help to clean up, (in mid-season four he did call her out on being manipulative) asks her to stop, “You’re an adult. She’s a baby. Why do you need more help than a baby?“ With the tension thick, Jessa takes it out on Adam which leads to an unnecessary (but entertaining) blow-out between the two. She blames him for getting between her and Hannah (were they ever truly friends?) and basically spells out their doomed relationship: “I’m a hateable kind of person. I don’t know why, I can’t help it, but I know, I know that I have principles and one thing I don’t do is steal people’s boyfriends. But you ruin that. Don’t you see that?! I’ll never forgive you. I will NEVER forgive you for that. We could die in the same bed and I will never forgive you!” I really don’t think there is any coming back from that, at least nothing long term anyway.

Hannah did show some growth with her story at The Moth Story Slam. She admitted, “I’m Hannah forever. No matter what I do. No matter whether I start a nuclear crisis with my emotions or if just sit back and chill and give someone a fruit basket. I can only control the mayhem that I create around me.” she told the room, explaining the note she left outside of Jessa and Adam’s door that read, “Good luck. I mean that sincerely. In perpetuity, Hannah.” However, she heard them fighting and was relieved to not be inside there. “I heard screaming and I heard my name and I heard madness. And I knew that I was free. At least for tonight.” she says. Hard to keep a dry eye. This was a huge step for her. When it comes to Hannah and Adam, I don’t think I have cried or felt more emotionally attached to fictional characters in all my life. (and I don’t think Frankie Valli has ever made me cry before).

In the season 6 opener, we do see a more thoughtful Hannah. We learn that the New York Times had her write her story to be published in their Modern Love column. She appears to still not be holding a grudge, but the same cannot be said about Jessa, (for some reason) as she refuses to read Hannah’s column. Adam on the other hand, read it with deep interest with a bit of a hurt expression on his face. Seeing their story in print did mean something as I think he realized some truths. (It’s the only time we see him looking serious, about anything, in the episode.)

Hannah still doesn’t seem entirely satisfied with her life, but she is on a new assignment away from NYC, where she becomes open and more relaxed. She is still silly, entertaining, awkward Hannah getting drunk on the dance floor, spilling drinks all over herself, pointing at the surf instructor/rapper and proclaiming “I know him! He’s my surf teacher! I’m gonna fuck him!” (a favorite moment and why we love her) She was able to forgo some of her usual rage impulses even after Paul-Louis admitted to having an open-relationship girlfriend. This was really a change in attitude, she was not happy about it but I think she did learn from Paul-Louis maybe something to think about:  “It’s so much easier to love something than to hate it, don’t you think? Love is the easiest thing in the world. Hate takes energy, loves makes vibes.”

We find Adam in an opposite situation. It seems he and Jessa decided to stay together, even as that means that they have been seemingly estranged from the rest of the group of friends. They are holed up in the apartment not even having the decency to get dressed when Ray comes over, or to answer a text, and they are just being obnoxious. Ray said why he didn’t want to go in there: “its repulsive” and “smells like they are always reheating fish”. (Are they doing drugs?) Not quite sure what is wrong with them. Kind of seems like Adam took a few steps backward. So, I am guessing he still has some emotional growing to do, which I am sure, will work it’s way out over the season.

Lena recently said “The show’s never been about that traditional connection, where it’s four best friends who just can’t get enough of each other. So to do a traditional everybody-gets-their-happy-ending finale didn’t feel right. At the same time, we wanted people to have the satisfaction of closure. I think we found kind of a creative way to do that. We’ll see if other people feel the same way.”  If she did feel that Adam and Jessa could make it, then they will. (However, eventually they would kill each other and we all know it’s only a matter of time before the next battle) Maybe no one “ends up” with anyone. Maybe Hannah does find the right man for her and it is not Adam. Perhaps Hannah doesn’t need or want a boyfriend for right now. Hannah and Jessa could rekindle their friendship and it doesn’t include any man between them or maybe this time their friendship is beyond repair. Adam could land a killer theater gig or movie role out of the state or country. All I know is how I feel, and for myself, after all the emotions and all the tears I have shared with Hannah and Adam, and with all that build up, shared history, and connection they seem to have, it’s just a lot of time spent on their story if they don’t figure it out.

My husband recently pointed out that Hannah shouldn’t get back with Adam, she deserves better, “Adam has been a dick.” Yes, he has and yes, he can be. “They have been abusing the shit out of each other for years,” Lena has said of unexpected support of Hannah and Adam as an OTP. Its been messy, sure, but people grow. Maybe they give it a try and are forced to come to terms that they would be heading down the same path and eventually keep hurting each other, making the difficult, yet, adult decision that they can’t be together. I am really leaning towards the no one ends up with anyone route. If not as a couple, I like to think that they will at least remain something to each other.

Anyway, I am pretty confident the love is still there in some form or another. To me that is partly what this show has been about. After everything they have been through, deep down inside, I will always feel they should finally be together…and happily ever after.

KC + “Don’t shut me out.”

“Seriously?” Caroline paused above Klaus, looking at him in astonishment. “You did not just say that!” she exclaimed, gathering the sheets around her while she crawled off of him.

Klaus looked up in surprise, still naked on the bed and confused at the turn of events. “Caroline, I didn’t mean to-”

“Exactly! And that’s the problem. You didn’t mean to. I can’t believe you just had to ruin perfectly good morning sex with… with what? A stupid impulse? A joke? Is that all I am to you?”

“Of course not! Caroline, I love you. You know that!” Klaus sat up on the bed, looking at Caroline who was standing in the opposite corner of their bedroom with the sheets wrapped around her frame. She looked livid and he was certain that this was one of those situations where everything he said would be the wrong thing, but he had to try. He had everything planned out, and it was already starting the wrong way.

“I don’t want to hear it,” Caroline seethed. “I’m going to take a shower and when I return, you’re gone. You can stay with one of your siblings for the time being.”

“You’re kicking me out,” he stated dejectedly. Caroline nodded and he got up from the bed, “You’re not even going to listen to me? Let me explain? You’re overreacting love!”

“Don’t you dare tell me what I am or am not doing. We’re done here. There’s nothing left for you to say.” Caroline turned around, grabbing a change of clothes before she moved to the bathroom. “You better pack your stuff before I return.” She looked back regretfully for one more moment before she turned around, locking the bathroom door behind her. How had her morning taken such a drastic turn? 

She let herself slide against the bathroom door and could feel her tear ducts fill. She was glad that she had managed to leave the room, leave Klaus, before he could see her cry.

“Caroline,” she could hear Klaus call out her name while he knocked on the door. “Caroline, come on!” he pleaded but she didn’t move. She let out a sob and hugged her clothes close to her chest. She wouldn’t open the door. She couldn’t succumb to this.

“Don’t shut me out!” Klaus exclaimed helplessly. “We need to talk about this.”

“We don’t. We don’t ever need to talk again,” she managed to stifle another sob until she finished her sentence and turned back from the door. “You hurt me, Klaus!”

“You completely misunderstood! I know I went to it the wrong way, but it was an accident.” Klaus admitted, “You have to know I would never hurt you.”

“An accident,” Caroline scoffed, opening the door so she could glare at him. “You’re telling me you ‘accidentally’ asked me to marry you? During sex nonetheless? Which by the way is just as bad a timing as telling a girl you love her for the first time during the act. But no, because that wasn’t bad enough, you had to actually take back your words. You couldn’t have gotten engaged by mistake, right?”

“That’s- that’s not what happened,” Klaus pleaded, when he noticed Caroline trying to close the door once more, he put his foot in the opening. “Okay, yes that’s what happened, but it’s not what I tried to do. I-”

“You what? You didn’t mean to take back your proposal? Or you didn’t mean to propose in the first place? Because I got that hint when you said you didn’t mean to do that,” Caroline slumped against the door opening. She wished there was something that could make this all better, but couldn’t think of anything that would change matters.

“I- I did mean to propose,” Klaus admitted, walking past Caroline into the bathroom. He avoided her look, not ready to see her reaction just yet. He opened the medicine cabinet and came back with a bottle of a prescription drug; he had gotten them last month after a shoulder injury. He opened the bottle and emptied the contents in his hands, closing them around it.

“You- you did mean to propose?” Caroline observed him from her place, not sure how to react to that knowledge. If his plan was to propose, he did a shitty job. “Than why take it back?”

“Because I had a plan,” Klaus admitted, opening his hands and revealing a diamond ring. “I was going to do it tonight, after we went to dinner at that French restaurant where we had our first date. We were going to have a great night, have champagne and before we would leave, I would go on one knee…”

“You had a plan,” Caroline felt herself get weak in the knees and put her hands on the sink to keep her balance. “You actually were going to- and I reacted. Omg I was horrible!” she clasped her hands in front of her mouth in horror. “I’m so sorry,” she cried out. She could feel new tears fall over her cheeks and she wiped them away. She couldn’t handle the shift in emotions.

“It’s my fault,” Klaus said, taking the blame. “I was so consumed in my plans for tonight, I’d been rehearsing it all night and then when I was inside of you, looking at you… You consumed me, Caroline. I just- I love you so much and I’d said it before I could think it through.”

“It wouldn’t have been the most romantic proposal, but it would have been honest,” Caroline tried to reason. “Especially if you continued with the explanation you just gave and showed the ring…” She wasn’t sure if she would have let him explain, just like she hadn’t earlier, but she hoped she would. He deserved at least that much.

“I panicked,” Klaus admitted, “I thought I had ruined it all, but I only made it worse by taking it back. I’m sorry for making you feel like asking you to marry me was a mistake. In truth, I think it’s the best decision I could possibly make.” Klaus kneeled in front of her, ring still in hand. “Will you forgive me?” he asked.

Caroline looked down at the man she dearly loved. She knew she reacted harshly that morning and he was still willing to look past her flaws and accept her for all she was. “Can you forgive me for being an unreasonable bitch?” she returned.

“Considering the situation, I think I can overlook it. For this one time at least,” Klaus teased, waiting for her answer.

“Okay,” she took a deep breathe, looking down at Klaus on one knee, “I do. Forgive you I mean,” she hastily clarified.

“And on the wanting to marry me thing?” Klaus continued, patiently waiting for her verdict.

“Yes!” she whispered, “Definitely yes.”

Klaus placed the ring on her ringfinger, before getting up, capturing Caroline’s lips with his. She knew there were more tears running down her face, her tear ducts were running over time this morning, but this time they were happy tears.

“Just so you know,” she whispered when she broke their kiss, “When anyone asks how you asked me to marry you, we’re totally going with the first date restaurant proposal.”

Klaus laughs, “Well I still have the reservations. I can do it all again tonight, if you want?”

“Hmm, three proposals in one day? That might just be a little overboard,” Caroline laughed and pulled him closer, walking backwards out of the bathroom, back to their bedroom.

“Just a little,” Klaus laughed, letting Caroline guide him.

“Just a little,” she confirmed before she let herself fall backwards on the bed, pulling Klaus on top of her. Their mouths met again, and Klaus hands quickly made work of the sheet still covering Caroline’s naked body.

It might not have been the proposal that she had dreamed of since she was a little girl, but he was the man of her dreams and that was what mattered most to her.

Don't get me wrong get me wrong, I love Allura. She's an amazing dynamic character. I just feel like the fandom puts her on a pedestal of perfection/can do no wrong, which is very untrue. Mistakes are what make characters grow. I want to see Allura grow, not be stuck in the black/white and good/evil that tumblr seems to think. I hope that makes sense

Oh my gosh, I feel you completely, nonnie! Fanon!Allura honestly isn’t accurate to her actual character. I mean, yes, she is definitely badass and yes she is extremely smart and capable, but she’s also scared and lost and makes bad decisions or can be rash or hurtful to others. That’s part of why I love her so much! 

I really, really relate to her I guess - like Allura, I lost my father very abruptly when I was young, and like her it put me in a position where I had to grow up a lot earlier than I should have. Allura is in that same boat. She lost someone that meant the world to her in the middle of an already difficult, vulnerable time in her life; it forced her to have to abruptly grow up and fill his shoes and become a leader in an intergalactic war. And she did an amazing job of it, but she’s still “human” (so to speak, I mean this in the colloquial sense, in that she’s still a living, breathing creature with emotions and flaws and feelings) and is still still hurting over the loss of her father. 

She makes mistakes, she wants to be back in her father’s arms, she wants life to be the way it used to be. But it isn’t and it won’t be. This is why Crystal Venom is still one of my favorite episodes, because it really shows this flawed, scared, unsure side of Allura. 

This girl is broken and hurting and having to make choices that she never should have had to make in the first place. And yes, she’s badass, and yes she eventually makes the correct choices, which is why we love her. But she still falters and fears and makes mistakes. 

Her unwillingness to let her father go, her rash decision to put herself in the hands of the Galra and literally toss Shiro out, her poorly-thought out decision to abandon the castle because she was scared Zarkon might be tracking her (just like Keith feared about himself) and thought the paladins might be better/safer if she weren’t there (like Keith thought about his own presence in the castle),  her skepticism about Keith’s loyalties after she finds out he’s part Galra, these are all such real flaws that could literally happen to anyone. And the fact that so much of the fandom just… ignores all that for the sake of putting her on a pedestal of imperfection is such a shame… it’s ignoring a HUGE part of who Allura is. 

She’s good overall, she’s a good person - but she still does bad things sometimes, she still makes bad decisions, or behaves rashly, just like any of us might - and the true showing of the good in her is how she overcomes these hardships, how she learns. 

[it’s worth noting that the other characters on the show similarly have very complicated and multifaceted personalities and behaviors, too, just like Allura, which is part of why this show is so amazing - I just didn’t delve into them here because this post was about Allura and not about the rest of the team :) ]

Mewberty part 2

“She’s been there for 6 days Glossaryck!” Marco argued at the magical deity of the book of spells.

“Yes Marco and she’ll be there for more days! Until the princess is ready.”

Marco thought hard and long… What could he use to bribe Glossaryck? The idea struck him!

Night came by and Marco was ‘sneaking’ in Star’s bedroom. He was about to open the door until…

“Well! My boy Marco! You just won’t give up won’t you?” Glossaryck said.

“Of course not! Maybe I can have a trade?” Marco’s tone brought curiosity to the flying blue creature.

“What’s your prize Marco Diaz?”


With that single word Glossaryck’s stomach grumbled. It was longing for love and care. It was longing for pudding, yet he has a job to do for Star butterfly or else if he fell for this pudding… Something really horrible might occur.

“Yeah sorry Marco but it’s really important for Star to stay in her room.” Glossaryck explained eyeing the pudding.

“Ugh fine!” Marco angrily stomped back.

“I need to know how Star is!” He shouted at the emptiness of his room hoping it would give him an answer. “If I can’t enter her door… I’ll just enter her window!”

He opened his window and climbed up his roof and carefully went to the other side where Star’s window is located.

“Being a chivalry knight are we Marco?” Glossaryck said while floating over Marco’s head.

“Wahhhh!!!” Marco shouted shocked at Glossaryk while trying not to fall. “You almost killed me!”

“You know I’d never do that with all my love for you.” Glossaryck said.

“You’re being creepy again. Stop.” Marco looked at him weirdly.

“Sorry my boy! I can’t! It’s one of the few things that make me!” Glossaryk cheered.

“Yea… Whatever.” I was about to open the door but then…

“You really wanna go in?” This time Glossary k used a serious tone.

“Yes. I wanna know how Star is. She’s been there for a week!” Marco answered.

Glossaryk stared at Marco… “It’ll be a big mistake for you but maybe a gift for her.”

“What do you mean?” Marco is confused.

“It’s your choice. You can go in or you can go back. What will happen to you and to her is dependant upon your choice.” Glossaryck magically opened Star’s window. It was really dark in her room.

“What will happen If I go there?” Marco asked now frightened but still determined.

“I do not know Marco my boy. Its all up to you. Bye now!” Glossaryck disappeared in a puff of smoke.

“I’m going in.” Marco jumped in Star’s room carefully. He barely can see anything.

“Star?” Marco whisper shouted “Star? It’s me Marco! Star…” He heard something whisper “Star?”

“Maaaaarco?” Marco heard Star whisper but it seems coming from everywhere.

“S-star?” Now he’s scared as heck.

“Tag! You’re it!” Star said in a creepy voice he sure heard before…

“Shit… Mewberty!” Marco ran to the window… but… It’s locked! “Glossaryck! Let me out! Glosaryck! Glossaryck!” He kept shouting but there’s no blue little guy…

“Marco! Why aren’t you chasing me?” Star cooed.

Marco hid in a corner hoping she wouldn’t find him. It is very dark.

“Marcooooo! You don’t want tag? Ok! How about hide and seek? I’m it! If I find you…you have to do something for me.” Marco could almost feel her smirk. “10 seconds Marco. Hide.”

Where could he hide?!?!

Star looked. Under the bed? Nope! Aquarium…? Nope! Corner!?!? Nope!!! “Where are you Marcooo?!?!” Think Star… Wait why is this like a horror movie?!?! Where… Wait… Closet!

“Knock knock Marco! I’m coming!” Star flew going to the closet.

“Shit I’m dead…” Marco whispered to himself.

Star opened the door with her wand and there she saw Marco. He’s sitting and shivering.

“Marco are you cold?” Star asked worried.

“Aaaah!” Marco jumped back further from the insecticide Star who’s much bigger…

“Or scared…” Marco saw Star land softly and sat Dow with her head in her knees… Marco the heard her whimpering…

“Star? I’m sorry… Look I’m not scared of you but rather of what you’ll do…” Marco carefully approached her.

Marco just sat there in front of Star… Not knowing what to do. Marco just stared… Then Star moved. She tilted her head to the side. Staring at a blank wall.

“I’m sorry Marco…” Star then looked at his eyes.

“Yea it’s-”

Marco was cut off. Star moved forward towards Marco and kissed him. Marco kissed back. Marco was shocked but he lost all his thoughts and was just there enjoying Star and her lips. It felt like it means something deeper. Something he felt before but not for her. It felt magical. It seems like it’s perfect. Nothing but him and Star. It was perfect.

Marco opened his eyes and saw Star. Not Mewberty Star. Star with her long flowing blonde hair and beautiful blue eyes.

“Hey Star.” Hey Star?!?! What kind of dummy would say that?!?! I’m so dumb.

“hehe… Hey Marco. Look I’m sorry. I don’t know what came over me and I just-”

“I love you Star.” It took long enough but he finally said it without messing up.

Star was silent. Contemplating what just happened…

“I love you too Marco.”

Imagine: you are in love with Kol and Klaus Mikaelson and calls Rebekah, your best friend, to help you deal with it.

Yes, what happened, Y/N?”

“Can you come over, please? I sort of need to talk to someone right now…”

Okay, I’m coming, just give me a minute.

She hung up and, once more, you were all alone and free to become a victim of your own thoughts. They had been so overwhelming lately. Well, since you discovered yourself completely in love with Kol and Klaus Mikaelson. Yes, the awful psychopath and the big bad hybrid, both part of the oldest vampire family in the world. And, also, if all of that is not bad enough, they were your best friend’s siblings. You could picture how mad Rebekah would get. 

You took a deep breath, trying to calm yourself down and find the strength to open up with someone about the subject. It was hard, though, because, so far, you have not been able to understand what the hell was going on with your feelings. And it was not because you did not take some time to think it though, to analyse who you liked more. Klaus was the very thing you should not have and you want it so badly. His soft words and kind gestures, heck, he was intoxicating. Kol, on the other hand, brought out the crazy on you. The way he would show up in the middle of the night in your room just to stole a kiss from you was so bloody hot. How in earth would be able to choose between them? 

“So, darling, why you sounded so desperate on the phone?” Rebekah said, unexpectedly and making you jump forward, scared. 

“Oh my God, Bekah, can’t you knock like everybody else?”

“I’m your best friend and also an Original vampire, which means I’m not like everybody else. Now, spill the beans.”

“You’re such a sweet person!” You remarked, ironically. “But you’re right, I need to get it out of my head before I go nuts.”

“Well, I’m all ears for you, darling.”

“Ok, hum… Shit, it’s hard.” You gasped, frustrated. “I want to tell you, yet, I feel like I’m going to throw up if I do.“ 

The blonde narrowed her eyes and crossed arms, looking at you sceptic. You sighed, knowing you had to suck it up and tell her. Still, they were her brothers and, eventually, you would hurt one of them by choosing. When this become so hard?

“Okay. I’m going to say it.”

“I’m waiting.” You gulped, biting your lower lip. “You’re a weird person, Y/N.”

“Yes, I know that. Now here it goes: I’m in love.”

“Seriously?” Rebekah raised an eyebrow. “You were all nervous just to tell me you care about someone?”

“Not quite that.” You said, pursing your lips. “I’m in love with two guys.”

“What?!” She questioned, stunned. “Y/N, care to explain me what the bloody hell is going on?”

“That’s not it.”

“There’s more?” You nodded, slightly. “Damn it, Y/N! Go ahead. Finish. I’m definitely eager to know who are them.”

“Yeah, about that, promise me you won’t be mad when I tell you.“ 

"Why would I be?”

“Just promise.”

“Okay. I promise. Now, tell me.”

Never, in your whole life, you had ever felt more scared than right that second. Rebekah had an inquisitive look and you knew how much she hated when you took so long to tell her something. Again, it was not an easy thing to do. Especially because she was related to them, which made impossible for her to be impartial. You giggled, nervous, and finally let it out:

“It’s Klaus. And Kol.” You whispered, hoping she had missed it. 

“Y/N, are you serious?”

“I wish I wasn’t.”

Rebekah, unexpectedly, chuckled. And embraced you in a hug. Instead of yelling that was wrong and being mad, she seemed genuinely happy. You frowned and looked at her as if she had a horn in her forehead. Come on! You needed someone to tell that being in love with two maniacs was a horrible mistake. Because, honestly, it seemed impossible to do it by yourself.

“You’re going to be my sister in law!” She squeaked.

“For fuck’s sake, haven’t you heard what I told you?”

“So what you’re in love with them? I’m sure you love one more than the other. Now you just have to pick.”

“It would be a lot easier if I did know which one.”

“Oh. Oh!” Rebekah widened her eyes.“And you want me to help you choose?”

“Yes. It’s exactly what I want you to do.”

“No. I can’t. Out of my reach.”

You shook your head, letting out a huff and starting to pace restlessly in your room. What you were supposed to do? Because if you choose Kol, Klaus would probably dagger him, which would be terrible. And, if you picked the hybrid, the younger Mikaelson would flip out and probably would end up boxed. Both scenarios were dreadful and you did not want to put yourself or the brothers in that situation. “Fuck, fuck, fuck!”, you though, feeling uneasy.

“Stop!” Rebekah cried, grasping your shoulders. “You’re making me nervous.”

I’m nervous! And you refuse to help me.”

“I said I can’t help you choose. You have to do that alone. But I can help.”

“Enlighten me then.”

“First, go out with them. Like, in dates. Oh, and make sure they know you feel like that.”

“Rebekah, my life it’s not a bachelorette TV show. And I don’t need to feel like I’m a prize.”

“I’m just trying to help.”

“I know that! And… Thanks. I’m aware of how messed up this is.”

“You’re my best friend, Y/N.” She pointed out, hugging you one more time. “Now, if I were you, I’d call and ask them to come here.”

“Okay, if this goes wrong, I’ll blame it on.”


Letting a loud laugh come out, you reached for your phone and then dialled Klaus’ number. Even though it was risky and it would probably bring a bad outcome, you should come clean to them. After all, they deserved to know and it would make you feel better. Eh, so you hoped.

Hello, love.

“Hey, babe, can you come over?”

I’ll be there in a second.

“Wait, is Kol with you?”

No, but he’s close. What do you want with him?

“I kind of need to talk to both of you… Can you come?” You requested, using the “I’m crying, please answer all my wishes” tone. It always worked.

Okay, We’ll be there.”

For a second you though about giving up. If it was hard telling Rebekah, who, by the way, was lying lazily in your bed and acting like nothing was going on, imagine having to face your beloveds and let them know you did not have faintest idea who you wanted to be with. Definitely a good talk. “Y/N, keep it together!”, you thought, shaking your head and trying to focus on how better you would feel.

“This will be fun.” Rebekah said.

“Yes, I’m a complete wreck, but, sure, very funny.”

“You have to relax, Y/N/N. My brothers seem like alpha male type, but they are just boys.”

“Do you think I can handle it?”

“Of course. I know you and I know them. I’m pretty sure it all work out fine.”

Both of you heard a thud downstairs. Okay, so they had arrived and you needed to go there and talk to them. For the thousandth time you freaked out. When exactly did you become such an insecure woman? You used to be this girl who would go and make things happen. All right. It was time to bring your other self back.

“Good luck.”

“You’re not staying?”

“Oh, no. You should have privacy. But if they fight, send me a video.”

“You are a bitch!”

“Go to your boys, darling.”

“Fuck you, Bekah.”

“I love you too.“ 

Then she disappeared.

You gulped and went to your living room.

It was time to face the beasts.
