A/N: I’m taking Harry Hook as well as Descendants requests!
You, Harry, Gil and Uma were currently sitting at the table discussing and making plans to rob a store that had diamonds, gems, pearls and pretty expensive jewels.
“Alright Y/N since you have amazing gymnastics skills and due to your incredible flexibility you’ll be the one to look out for any guards on the roof of the building and if there are alarms you’ll disarm them as well and knock out any guards because you know they won’t back down.” Uma instructed.
You nodded. “Alright got it, piece of cake.“ You said cracking your neck.
“Harry.” Uma started and Harry turned. “You’re going to look out for Y/N in case anything happens you’ve got her back. For example if anyone tries to attack her while she’s not looking that’s when you step in.”
If Lance is doing Pidge’s hair Allura will sit right next to him with a bunch of hair pins and other stuff in her hair so that Lance can get to them easier. (She’s basically a pincushion with less hurty pins)
Allura and Lance will sometimes had a day to just themselves and head on to the beach and swim and try and dunk each other in the water.
Allura manages to grab a small white reef tipped shark and holds onto the baby and lets Lance pet them.
They let him go and leave, only to return with food/chum for them and they feed the sharks.
They went to some tropical islands once and fed the eels there.
Allura was not having it, she pretty much stayed out of the water while Lance let them swim and slither across his ankles.
He managed to convince her to feed a few and touch one.
After a day in the sun they compare skin tones to see who got darker. (Allura usually wins)
Sometimes she gets these weird iridescent pink freckles and lance will poke at them to see them shine and change color in the light.
You talk shit about Allura she doesn’t really much care, you’re not worth her breath. You talk about Lance however she will fuck your shit up because that boy is worth more than your life and she will demonstrate as much. (And vice versa)
The only sweaters Allura wears are from Lance since he knows what she likes and what fabrics are comfortable on her skin.
If Lance is having a bad day Allura will splurge on him a bit and take him to all his favorite places
She uses it as a distraction to keep Lance busy while she has Pidge and Hunk found out why he’s down and who caused it so she can drop kick them to the moon herself.
Someone talking about Lance from across the room at whisper sound level and not in a good way.
*Allura sliding into the conversation like she just wasn’t on the other side of the building*: I’m sorry what? Could you please repeat that for me? ( ͡ಠ ͜ʖ ͡ಠ)
They have sleepovers in Allura’s room just to talk or gossip
Allura will show him different movies and shows she has and they watch those and she explains all the jokes and other stuff he doesn’t get.
Some nights it’ll get so late Lance just falls asleep on her and Allura will smile and just turn off the tv and make sure that they’re both covered before she falls asleep as well.
They wake up the next morning and head down to breakfast and everyone is staring at them because Allura has Lance’s shirt on and Lance has her robe on (It’s soft af okay you’d wear it too if you could I’m sure)
Hunk: Um…are you guys??? *points at their clothes*
They each look down and Lance is fucking laughing his ass off within the first two seconds and Allura is trying to hold it in but she’s failing and in tears at this point.
Allura finds it even funnier than it is because she’s 100% aware of Lance’s crush on Keith even if he isn’t quite up to speed himself.
It was not the doctor’s intention to overhear the conversation you had going with Uhura. He was simply strolling past the pair of you at the exact moment Uhura grasped in horror, “You’ve never had an ORGAS-”
“- UHURA!” You practically attacked the woman, your hand clamping over her mouth. The translator and communications officer glared in confusion until her eyes flickered to Leonard McCoy who stood there frozen in skeptical shock. The three of you just stood silent, unsure of when to talk until you couldn’t take it any longer. You grabbed Uhura’s hand and lead her away from the Doctor and into the turbolift. Once inside the safety of the lift, you turned to her with widen eyes.
“How could you yell that! In front of him!”
“It’s fine. He didn’t hear, I’m sure,” Uhara tried reasoning with you, but the uncertainty in her voice said it all.
“You better hope he didn’t,” you muttered before exiting the lift onto the quarters deck.
I can’t believe everything is so good right now in Richonne world. Like… it’s been a little over a year since our beautiful ship sailed and it’s all been so wonderful. Even with the whole “Saviors beating our heroes into the ground” roadblock. Like… I am just so happy with where are ship is and where it’s going. While other aspects of this show have let me down, Rick and Michonne always deliver.
Rick and Michonne got an episode that focused in large part on them called “Say Yes”. In this episode, we got to see them laugh together, make love, kiss, hug, and, in a way, become engaged (if not married). The Walking Dead has never showcased a couple like this before – and it was a welcome gift.
Not only “Say Yes”, but the mid-season premiere’s highlight moment was Rick and Michonne mowing down a herd of walkers with a steel cable then cuddling in a car afterward – on Valentine’s day no less. Then the next week’s episode, “New Best Friends”, had Rick giving Michonne a cat statue because he wanted to replace her old one, emphasizing Rick has been mindful of Michonne and what she likes for a long time. It goes to show the series is making a point to display how strong Rick and Michonne’s love is, and how it has not done anything to weaken their resolve. If anything, it has strengthened it.
Richonne has been blessed to have both the actors portraying the relationship, Andrew Lincoln and Danai Gurira, be incredibly outspoken about the ship in positive ways. Neither one has had a rotten thing to say about the relationship, and both have actually gone out of their way to promote Richonne. Andy especially was notorious even before Richonne became canon, being very vocal about wanting Rick and Michonne as a couple – even while AMC was trying to sell Jessie as a potential love interest.
Not only have Andy and Danai been supportive of Richonne, but so have other cast members (Chandler, Norman, Sonequa, Josh, Melissa, and Jeffrey come to mind). It’s so nice to see the team giving the thumbs up.
AMC’s social media, while still having its stumbles (like its instagram posting a Lori/Rick fan art with the caption “The original power couple” the same week “Say Yes” aired), has been far more Richonne positive than ever. It used to be like pulling teeth to get them to acknowledge Richonne, but now they actively use the word “Richonne” and promote the couple in their tweets. Skybound’s Twitter has also been much more pro-Richonne recently than usual. It makes it all the more real, and all the more indicative they believe in this relationship.
Professional critics have been overwhelmingly positive about Rick and Michonne’s relationship. While they’ve been negative about other aspects of this show this season, for the most part, they regard Rick and Michonne’s love for one another as a light in the darkness.
Nevermind the content we’ve received with Rick and Michonne in the canon, which is unarguably the best of all. Just all their scenes. It’s all so golden. So good. What did we do to deserve such wonder and majesty?
Father looked at her strangely. “Gods,” he swore softly, “out of the mouth of babes … "
He shouted for Septa Mordane. To the girls he said, "I am looking for a fast trading galley to take you home. These days, the sea is safer than the kingsroad. You will sail as soon as I can find a proper ship, with Septa Mordane and a complement of guards … and yes, with Syrio Forel, if he agrees to enter my service. But say nothing of this. It’s better if no one knows of our plans. We’ll talk again tomorrow."
Sansa cried as Septa Mordane marched them down the steps. They were going to take it all away; the tournaments and the court and her prince, everything, they were going to send her back to the bleak grey walls of Winterfell and lock her up forever. Her life was over before it had begun.
Summary: When your best friend finally comes home, you tell him that he’ll be taking you back onto the Enterprise with him. (And you may or may not have a crush on a certain Russian whiz kid) ((I still can’t write accents pls bear with me)) (((Takes place in Star Trek: Beyond))).
You stood next to Ben & Demora, anxiously waiting for the arrival of your best friend.
You perked up as you saw a yellow shirt, only to frown when you realized that it belonged to Jim Kirk, captain of the Enterprise, whom you had met once during your time at the academy.
He caught your eye and smiled as you waved in return before being nudged by Ben.
“(Y/N),” whispered Ben. “Look, it’s Hikaru.”
You bounced on the balls of your feet, searching for Hikaru. Your excitement caused Ben to chuckle and Demora to squirm in his arms.
“There he is!” you shouted as you spotted Hikaru. You took off at a sprint, weaving your way through the crowd in an effort to close the distance between you as quickly as possible.
“(Y/N), wait! Slow down,” you heard Ben yell after you. You ignored his words, too focused on finally seeing your friend again.
“Hikaru!” You called out his name when you got closer, seeing his face light up as he finally noticed you.
“(Y/N/N)!” He called back, excitement flooding his features.
You were almost in front of Sulu when someone stepped in your path, causing you to lean away to prevent crashing. Unfortunately, your sudden action led to you losing your balance, and as you fell, you grabbed onto something.
You hit the ground hard, your breath leaving your lungs as you realized that something had fallen on top of you. More like someone you realized as you tried to catch your breath.
“(Y/N/N)!” you heard Hikaru yell once again, this time filled with worry.
You groaned as you opened your eyes, only to lose your breath once more are you noticed a pair of piercing blue eyes looking at you.
“Are you alright?”
You were snapped out of your daze by a Russian accent. You couldn’t do anything but stare at the boy on top of you, who seemed to be around your age. Your eyes wandered from his bright blue eyes to his hair (which was a beautiful mess of blonde curls) and then to his lips (which were pink and plump and looked a helluva lot softer than yours). You couldn’t do anything but nod softly as you looked at the ridiculously handsome guy on top of you.
“I am so sorry, I was not looking where I was going,” the blonde said as he got up and held his hand out to you. You snapped out of your daze as you slipped your hand into his and he helped you up.
“It’s fine! Don’t worry,” you smiled. “It was my fault. I pulled you down.”
Unbeknownst to you, the Russian Whiz Kid was no longer listening to you, too focused on the way your eyes lit up when you smiled. By the time he focused on what you were saying, you had already said your apologies and bounced away, mentioning that you had located your brother.
Pavel was still standing there, starstruck, when Leonard McCoy came up beside him. He followed Chekov’s gaze, noticing the way your hair swayed softly with every step.
Slapping his shoulder, Leonard whistled lowly. “Don’t waste your time kid, she’s way out of your league. It’s never gonna happen!”
You were all laughing as you stumbled through the door of the apartment you lived in. Demora was clinging onto Hikaru and you and Ben were chuckling at her behavior.
When you all noticed how late you’d been out, Hikaru volunteered to put Demora to bed, lulling her to sleep with wild tales of his adventures aboard the Enterprise as you and Ben made your way into the kitchen.
“So when are you going to tell Hikaru?” Ben asked, gathering all the materials necessary to make tea.
“Soon,” you replied, looking over to Demora’s bedroom.
“I can’t wait to see his reaction,” Ben chuckled. “He’s going to be pleasantly surprised.”
The chuckles died down when Hikaru walked back into the kitchen. He looked around, raising his eyebrow in a silent question.
“What’s going on?”
“Well,” you began.
“Take a seat dear,” Ben quickly interjected.
Hikaru glanced uneasily at the two of you before settling down. “What’s going on?”
You and Ben grinned at each other before turning back to Hikaru.
“I’m going to join you on the Enterprise!” You shouted, throwing some jazz hands into the announcement.
You watched as Hikaru’s face shifted from confused to shock to happiness to excitement as he took in your words.
“You are?” He asked excitedly. You nodded and squeaked as he leaped at you, pulling you in for a big hug. “Oh that’s great! That’s really amazing!”
“I board the ship when shore leave ends. I was recommended by my professors and a Montgomery Scott agreed to take me in as his protégé. I’m going to be in engineering!” You exclaimed happily.
The rest of the night was spent drinking and joking as you reminisced over memories from the past.
You awoke to find Hikaru leaning over you, shaking you awake.
“(Y/N/N), let’s go,” he whispered. “There’s been an emergency mission. We have to leave.”
You shot up, scrambling around your room as you gathered all your things, Hikaru doing the same.
You met up in the living room, being trailed by a sleepy Ben and an equally sleepy Demora.
“Auntie (Y/N), are you doing to join daddy in space?”
You crouched down, wrapping Demora in your arms. “Yes I am sweetie. I’ll make sure he stays safe. Take care of Ben alright?”
She nodded before waddling over to Hikaru, and you gave your goodbyes to Ben before taking Demora back to her bedroom, allowing Ben and Hikaru a moment of privacy.
You walked to the door, pausing slightly.
“Ready to go?” Hikaru asked.
You nodded and smiled before bouncing out the door. “Ready as I’ll ever be.”
“Woah,” you gasped as you boarded the ship. “It’s huge.”
Hikaru grinned. “The crown jewel of the fleet. C'mon I’ll show you the bridge.”
You both stepped into the turbolift and made your way onto the bridge. Almost instantly, you were overwhelmed by the noise. There were people running around, making sure everything was in place for the short-notice mission.
You followed Hikaru over to a pretty woman in a red dress.
“Uhura!” He called. “This is (Y/N). (Y/N), this is Nyota Uhura. Best in linguistics and she makes the best tea, second only to Ben of course.”
You waved awkwardly, being pleasantly surprised when she wrapped you up in a hug.
“Nice to meet you! I hope we get to know each other, I’m tired of being stuck in space with these idiots,” she said, gesturing all around you. You chuckled and agreed before joining Sulu once more.
“Ah Mister Sulu!” A voice exclaimed, causing you both to turn around.
Entering the bridge was Captain Kirk himself, the ship’s CMO and local half-Vulcan scientist at his side.
“Captain on the bridge!” A strangely familiar voice shouted. You spun around once more, your eyes meeting with bright blue ones, causing a blush to spread across the young Navigator’s face as you smiled.
“And who is this?” Jim’s voice caught your attention again his curiosity being aimed towards you.
“This is (Y/N) Sulu, Captain,” Hikaru quickly spoke. Jim’s eyebrow went up.
You shook your heard whilst Hikaru nodded his. “Not genetically but legally, yes.”
“Well it’s good to finally meet you Miss Sulu,” Jim spoke, extending his hand. “I believe Mister Scott is waiting for you in engineering. Mister Chekov if you’ll please show her down, Mister Sulu is needed on the bridge.”
Chekov nodded as he stumbled out of his seat, causing Jim to chuckle.
You felt another hand grasp yours in a handshake, causing you to look up.
“Leonard McCoy, CMO. I sure hope I don’t see you around much because then that means you’re most likely injured,” the doctor spoke, eyebrow rising as he recognized you as the girl from Yorktown.
Your eyes widened as you took in his words. “(Y/N) Sulu as I’m sure you gathered. Um, I guess I also hope I don’t see you around?”
Jim slung his arm around Leonard’s shoulder. “Lighten up Bones!”
Leonard grumbled under his breath before shoving Jim’s arm off his shoulder. “Goddammit Jim. I’m a doctor, not an armrest.”
“Please excuse the doctor. I am Commander Spock. It’s a pleasure to have you on the ship (Y/N),” the half-Vulcan spoke.
You bowed your head, not extending your hand to him, which he seemed to appreciate. “It’s a pleasure to meet you Commander,” you replied before he walked off.
“Well,” Jim spoke, clapping his hands. “Let’s get to work.”
“I’ll see you later (Y/N/N),” Hikaru said, kissing your forehead. “Don’t get injured too badly okay?”
You nodded before turning around and looking for Chekov, locating him at the turbolift and making your way to him.
The ride down was quiet and slightly awkward. You and Chekov kept exchanging glances, recognizing each other from your run-in at Yorktown.
“You are Sulu’s sister?” He finally broke the silence.
You nodded in response. “Yeah, I am.”
“You do not look alike,” he replied, looking down at his feet.
“I’m adopted,” you admitted. “I grew up with Hikaru, he’s my best friend. My parents were part of Starfleet and were killed on a mission by Klingons. The Sulu family took me in.“
Chekov fell silent at your confession, feeling awkward at the mention of your dead parents.
“I ran into you didn’t I?” you questioned, breaking the silence once more. Chekov nodded. “Sorry about that.”
“It’s fine, really. Pavel Chekov by the way. That’s my name,” he offered, extending his hand. You shook it with a smile on your face as the turbolift came to a stop at engineering.
“There you are lass!” A heavily accented voice called out. “Good to see you arrived here safely.”
You met the eyes of a redheaded man who carried a thick Scottish accent. “Montgomery Scott, nice to meet you. I’d shake your hand but I’ve got grease all over mine.”
You stared in awe, introducing yourself hastily. “(Y/N) Sulu. It’s a huge pleasure to be aboard the Enterprise. And under your tutelage. Thank you so much for this opportunity.”
“It’s not a problem. Your marks were ridiculously high. It’s a shame they didn’t bring you on here sooner. You’ll be helping me with the warp core so let’s go get you well acquainted with her,” turning to Pavel, he smiled. “Thanks for bringing her down here lad, you can go back to the bridge now.”
You turned to Chekov, quietly giving your thanks with a huge smile which only caused him to blush.
Scotty’s smile turned into a smirk.
You got along well with Scotty, and you became extremely close in the span of a few hours. You had also met Keenser, who immediately took a liking to you.
“So Chekov eh?” You heard Scotty say as you fixed up an ensign’s console.
You blushed and turned to him. “Pavel? What about him?”
“He’s cute no?”
You dropped your tool, turning to Scotty as Keenser let out a snort. “Yeah, I guess. Why?”
Scotty smirked in victory as you turned bright red. “It’s cute, the two of you. How’d you meet?”
You frowned slightly. “We met at Yorktown. I went down and I accidentally grabbed onto him and took him down with me. Then we were introduced here on the Enterprise. There’s nothing going on we’ve barely met.”
“That’s what they all say,” Scotty snickered. “I like that ship though. It seems exciting.”
Keenser chose that moment to sneeze, shooting out a ball of what you assumed was snot that melted your wrench.
“Go to Dr. McCoy Keenser!”
Little did you know, there was a similar conversation occurring on the bridge between Pavel, your best friend, Jim, and Nyota.
A few hours of Scotty’s relentless teasing later and you were beat.
You were making your way to the turbolift together, going to get some food, when you felt the ship lurch.
“Woah, what was that?” You asked.
“I’m not sure lass,” Scotty replied as he heard Jim calling him through his comm.
“Captain, there is a chance I could redirect energy from the warp core to the impulse engines,” Scott quickly replied.
“Do whatever you have to do Scotty,“ came Jim’s tinny reply.
“Let’s go (Y/N),” Scotty said, dragging you along.
“What’s happening?” You asked, joining him at the core’s console.
“I believe we’re under attack lass. The nacelles are down!” He yelled, motioning for everyone to move away.
“Attention crew of the Enterprise. This is your Captain James T. Kirk speaking,” everyone froze as Jim’s voice echoed around the ship. “We are commencing emergency personnel evacuation. Please make your way the the escape pods and leave the ship as soon as possible. Kirk out.”
The engineering deck was overcome by thundering footsteps as everyone tried to leave.
You stayed with Scotty, feeling the ship becoming more and more unstable underneath your own feet. You couldn’t see the attack, but you sure as hell could feel it.
It wasn’t until Scotty started pulling you towards the Kelvin pods, that you realized the ship was falling apart.
Scotty pushed you inside the pod, strapping you in as you struggled against him.
“Stay safe lass. Run when this pod lands. Find others and stay hidden.”
“If anything happens to you, Sulu will kill me. Stop fighting me lass.”
You went still as Scotty stepped back and shut the pod before ejecting it.
As the pod made its way towards Altamid, you couldn’t help but gasp as the sight before you. There was the glorious Enterprise, being torn apart by a swarm of ships as you sailed over it, helpless to do anything but watch.
You groaned, opening your eyes to see green.
Your pod window was shattered, and you could faintly feel pain on the exposed parts of your body that probably originated from the glass.
You stood up carefully, taking a few minutes to salvage all the supplies you could possibly get from the pod.
As you stood in the middle of the clearing, you could hear a faint shout and proceeded to carefully make your way towards it.
“You knew that we would be attacked!”
“You don’t understand!”
The last shout was uttered by a familiar accented voice and you felt yourself break into a run, bursting out into the clearing. “Pavel!”
The Russian ensign twirled around to face you, a small smile gracing his face as he saw you. “(Y/N)!”
The relief of finding someone else alive was overwhelming as Chekov gathered you in his arms and hugged you tight.
You could faintly hear Jim shouting until he turned to the two of you.
“Cute,” he remarked quietly. “Little Sulu, nice to see you alive.”
You nodded in acknowledgement as you pulled away from Pavel. “Captain. What happened?”
Jim sighed. “We were attacked. The majority of the crew seems to have been captured, including your brother. We have to find them and rescue them. Let’s start by checking the Enterprise.”
Everyone nodded in agreement.
It had taken a while, but you had finally boarded the Enterprise.
Or at least, what was left of it.
“The console is intact, Captain. I will try to restart it,” Pavel chirped.
Jim nodded. “Work fast. Once we light this place, it will draw a lot of attention.”
A few minutes of silence ensued as Pavel worked and you checked to make sure all the circuits were safe.
“What do you think? Do you find them?”
“Aye, Captain. I’m reconfiguring scanners and modulate frequencies.”
“What about you Little Sulu? The ship seem relatively safe?”
You nodded. “Yes Captain. It’s safe as far as I can see.”
Jim grimaced before turning to Kalara. “You with me. I left something behind.”
As they left the bridge, you turned to Pavel. “I don’t like her. She rubs me the wrong way.”
“The Captain said the same thing,” came his reply.
“Is everyone else really captured?” You asked softly.
Chekov sighed before coming to your side. “Yes. But we will save them. I promise.”
You opened your mouth to reply but were interrupted by Chekov. “C'mon. We have to do something.”
You followed him through the ship before stopping behind Jim and Kalara. You smirked in realization. They knew Kalara was against them.
As she spoke into her comm, you all sprinted, running from the ambush that was obviously planned.
You were breathing heavily and intertwined your fingers with Pavel’s, making sure you didn’t get left behind.
You came to a sudden stop, all three breathing heavily.
“There is a problem here,” Jim sighed.
“What?” You and Pavel asked.
“It’s the pipe. I can’t let it combust.”
“Captain,” Chekov began. “We are not in a very good position. If you miss the combustion compressor…”
“I never got to miss. Come on.”
“Do you know what the combustion compressor looks like?”
“That’s a square, right?
“No, it’s round!” You shouted.
“That’s what I said,” Jim shouted back, taking aim and shooting. “Run!”
You ran all the way back to the bridge, Jim starting to panic. “The glass! Chekov, Little Sulu, run!”
You all jumped, free falling down the side of the Enterprise as the thrusters began to come to life.
You landed hard, your ankle twisting harshly as you fell down, pulling Pavel down with you due to your intertwined hands.
“We have to stop meeting like this,” he muttered, smiling cheekily as you groaned.“
“Alright lovebirds, let’s keep moving!” Jim.
How you ended up in this situation, you would never know.
You were in Pavel’s arms, not being able to walk after your escape from the Enterprise. The three of you were stuck in some sort of crystalline structure, having been caught after triggering some sort of trap. You could only hope it wasn’t one of Krall’s.
You all froze as you heard footsteps which eventually gave way to laughter.
“You know these people?” You heard a new voice ask.
“Aye lassie,” a familiar Scottish accent filled you ears. “The couple is Pavel Chekov and (Y/N) Sulu and the handsome one is James T. Kirk. They’re friends.”
You rolled your eyes as Jim panicked slightly, asking Scotty what the new girl was doing. She poked the substance and immediately, you all fell, groaning as you hit the floor.
You all greeted each other, Scotty wiggling his eyebrows at you and Pavel in the process.
“Who’s your friend?” Jim asked.
“This is Jaylah,” Scotty said.
“Well that’s one hell of a welcome mat,” Jim mumbled.
“I do not know what is a welcome mat,” Jaylah said, mildly confused.
You sat on the couch, exasperated and bored out of your mind.
After being taken in by Jaylah, Scotty had quickly figured out how to use the old beam pad to transport people and had beamed Spock and Bones aboard.
Quickly taking care of Spock, Leonard proceeded to take care of your ankle, mentioning how it had been fractured and ‘Goddammit woman. Why wouldn’t you let them carry you at first?“
As you listened to their planning, you felt Pavel lower himself onto the couch next to you.
“How do you feel?” He asked, voice quiet.
You beamed back. “I’m in pain but thank you for carrying me most of the way here.”
Pavel nodded bashfully as you scooted closer, placing your hand over his. “I mean it. Thank you.”
He looked up and breathed in deeply before leaning in, pressing his lips against yours softly.
It was slow and shy but still full of confidence on his part. You kissed back without hesitation, eyes fluttering shut.
“I’m sorry,” Pavel whispered as he pulled back. “It’s just, this plan is dangerous and I had to do it.”
“Aren’t you staying on the ship to help transport everyone though?” You asked.
Pavel smiled cheekily in response.
Jim had done it. He had managed to save the crew with everyone’s help.
You latched onto Hikaru as soon as he was beamed aboard, hugging him tightly and scolding him for leaving your side because ‘How am I supposed to keep my promise to Demora if you leave me?’
The next step was to head over to Yorktown to stop Krall from using the weapon.
As everyone talked over the plan to destroy Krall’s ‘bees’, you made your way over to Scotty and Jaylah, who were working on rewiring her system to blast the music.
“Let me,” Jaylah spoke.
“No lass. I got it,” Scotty protested.
“Scotty, maybe you should let her. She knows her own equipment,” you chimed in. Scotty looked mildly offended before standing up.
“Fine, fine. But don’t ask me for help when-”
Jaylah hit the console before yanking some wires out and reconnecting them, effectively activating them and quieting Scotty.
The music blasted loudly, eventually destroying most of the ships. A few did manage to make it into Yorktown, the USS Franklin hot on their tail.
To keep Krall from going further, you noticed Sulu and Pavel making the ship go down, your stomach lurching as the ship took a nosedive into the fountain.
“Is everybody alright?” You could hear Jim asking after the crash. After a positive response from everyone, the crew took off, with Hikaru coming over to you, only to stop in his tracks when Pavel swept you up into his arms. Hikaru glanced at you with a raised brow, and you simply blushed in return.
Everyone filed out into Yorktown to see Jim and Krall. A few tense moments and an amazing save by Bones and Spock later, and Jim was saved. The threat had been eradicated. The people were safe once again.
“HAPPY BIRTHDAY!” You and Scotty shouted the moment Jim and Bones stepped through the entrance.
After Bones handed Jim a drink, he raised it in your direction. “Thank you Scotty, Little Sulu.”
You grinned in response before making your way to Pavel, being stopped by a hyperactive Demora before you could reach him.
“Auntie (Y/N)! Auntie (Y/N)! Is it true that you saved daddy?”
You chuckled at Hikaru and Ben and picked her up. “Yes but he also saved everybody in this room. Your dad’s a hero.”
Demora cheered loudly as you passed her back to Hikaru before excusing yourself, laughing as he wiggled his eyebrows at you.
You stood in front of the window overseeing the construction of the new Enterprise.
“She’s gonna turn out beautiful,” a familiar voice commented, causing you to grin.
“Yeah she is,” you replied quietly as Pavel leaned on the glass next to you.
“Listen, about what happened on the ship-”
“Do you regret it?” You interrupted. Pavel looked confused. “Do you regret the kiss?”
Pavel quickly shook his head, a blush filling his cheeks. “No. To be completely honest, I’ve been wanting to kiss you since you took me down the first time. I thought you were amazing.”
You both chuckled at his comment before shifting closer.
“Can I do it again?” He whispered. You nodded.
Your lips met once more in a calm, sweet kiss. It was slow and new and not at all rushed and it could not have been any better.
You only broke apart when someone cleared their throat, indicating that someone had joined you. You both looked up to see the rest of the crew observing you, causing you both to blush heavily.
The awkward silence was broken by Hikaru who yelled out a small ‘I knew it!’ and by Leonard who muttered a ‘Well damn, I guess she wasn’t out of the kid’s league.’
Yeah, the rest of the five year mission would be good.
RATING: Teen and Up
The manner in which Loki fled the palace had people wondering if there had been some form of fire or other disaster to befall the palace, such was his pace. He raced towards the stables, only for Thor, Hogun and Volstagg to notice him, Thor standing in his way. Without so much as a word, Loki flicked his hand, sending Thor careering into the other two with a loud thud. “LOKI!”
“Not now.” Loki snapped, not even looking at them as he walked.
Thor righted himself and rushed after his brother, “What has you in such a mood?”
Something I’ve been mulling over and addressing in asks and metas for nearly a week now is the concerns about Fitzsimmons and how everything will effect their relationship. And the more I think about it the better I am starting to feel, because I’ve stepped back to look at the story they’ve set up here for Fitz specifically and how we have seen that story to certain degrees before.
Its not that their feelings are in doubt, yes they have healing to do, but they’ll do that together (going down with the ship there).
Something I flagged early in the season was how Fitz was on a roll. He was producing tech for the team on a level we hadn’t seen from him before. Working with Radcliffe, perfecting AIDA and the Framework. Coming up with low tech ways of taking down the baddies. So it came as no surprise that that all blew up on us, we knew that was coming.
We saw, that in 14 Fitz was upset that things he worked on and helped perfect, both AIDA and the Framework, were things that were ultimately used as weapons.
In the Framework we and him saw what happened when he DOESN’T care about what he makes….what happens when he wants to hurt or do something terrible.
As soon as Fitz was out he was sick about what had happened and in 22 I believe we got our hint at where they intend to take Fitz with this arc. When Jemma was pressing him to help her find a way to kill AIDA he was afraid that whatever he came up with wind up causing more harm than good….THAT could very well be his arc next season. Because A LOT of the interviews have spoken of Fitz needing to recover with all that has happened. That its going to take time. So next season it will be getting Fitz to find his fire again, that he will have to create, innovate, and be an engineer again in order for them to beat the baddies.
In essence he has to trust himself again. Trust he is a good person and he is building something for the right reasons. Trust that whoever is using what he makes for the right reasons as well. Trust who he is working with. He’ll always trust Jemma but what about this new agency that at the very least has Coulson.
At multiple times throughout the series we have seen the team have a point where they struggled to do their specialty because of what had happened due to it in a previous arc/story/season.
In the aftermath of Bahrain May relegated herself to a desk.
In the aftermath of her trip to Maveth, Jemma’s curiosity faded it took her time to get back into the lab.
In the aftermath of Ward’s abduction/torture Bobbi was reluctant to go back into the field.
In the aftermath of Hive Coulson stepped back from being leader and Daisy left the team.
Now it seems to Fitz’s turn to have that arc of recovery. Where he comes to terms with what happens and finds his way back. With Jemma helping him every step of the way, her helping him get back into the lab, and working with him side by side again.
If he still is producing tech when they come back, because chances are he’ll need to be either to help find Coulson or if they were all taken…they were taken for their skills. He’ll be a lot more guarded about it.. Not only thoroughly testing it but also vetting who wants it. He won’t allow for what happened with Radcliffe to happen again, where something he made with the intention of helping people gets turned against them.
They could even step this up a notch by having a good, non betraying, father figure come into the mix. And Fitz (and Jemma) be reluctant to work with him or let him get close.
This will also be in addition to Fitz working through the “he’s a bad person” thing that he is grappling with. Him coming to terms with just how much he was manipulated by AIDA.
As painful as all that is, its also much more in line with what we could see and have seen before. Romance has never been a huge part of the show, so this provides the writers an arc that can entwine with the overall arc much better. IE if Fitzsimmons were working on getting back together it would be a sub plot that would likely hack off a good chunk of the fandom, where as getting Fitz back to creating again could fit much better, especially if what he needed to do was crucial to the story.
Listen listen I am Kadena trash, 100% will go down with this ship. But I know TBT is not all about Kadena. Kadena is a part of TBT and I’m happy about it because TBT is so much more than that, there’s the girls’ friendship I adore, I feel so empowered whatching this show, they discuss something some people still think was taboo (one of them was Kadena), and I kid you not they really educated me on some issues. So yes Kadena is important but TBT worth so much more than that and for a long time I am exited again to watch a tv show. So please don’t stop watching just because Kadena is temporarily not together. Let’s watch them grow within themselves and their relationship.
