I Love You-Shawn Mendes X Reader

Title: I Love You

Word Count: 722

Pairing: Shawn Mendes X Reader

Warnings: Kissing? Making out? Fluff?

A/N: Here’s a small drabble thing because Shawn Mendes held a concert in my country today and I really wanted to go, but I couldn’t. (And then of course another friend of mine posted videos from the concert on Snapchat, which had me in a kind of crabby mood, since I couldn’t go)

You could barely stop grinning as you were lead by the security guard down many hallways. Finally you would get to see your boyfriend! You were so consumed in your thoughts that you almost walked past the guard, who’s name was Alexander you learnt, stopped by a door. The door was simple, black with a silver knob and a paper behind plastic that read SHAWN MENDES.

“Here we are.”

Butterflies filled your stomach, and you made sure your clothes were free of every wrinkle before you walked in the door, the guard following right after. You didn’t see him at first, but then you noticed him laying on a black couch, softly strumming on his guitar. When the door opened he looked up, and suddenly his eyes were the only thing on your mind.

“Y/N.” He whispered, his eyes wide as saucers and a blush spreading across his face.

By now you probably looked like a tomato, with equally as big eyes as his, you looked at him like you’d never seen anything more beautiful in your life. And you probably hadn’t.

Shawn was quick on getting off the couch and stride over to you, and before you knew it you were pressed against his chest and his lips molded with yours. If it hadn’t been for the fact that you hadn’t seen him or been this close to him in three months, you would probably be very flustered that you were making out in front of a guy. But, right now you weren’t able to think.

“God I missed you.” Shawn breathed when you finally pulled apart.

“I missed you too. So much. I love you.”

Shawn pecked your lips before stepping away and putting his hand in yours. He didn’t let go of it until it was time for him to go on stage.

The concert was finally over, and Shawn was packing up his stuff while you laid on his couch and played Unblock Me on your phone.

“I am so tired, how do you stand this?” You asked as you tried to get up in a sitting position.

Shawn chuckled and turned to you. “You get used to it. You’ll understand when you join me on my tour this summer.”

“I hope so.”

Shawn walked over to you, a grey backpack slung over his shoulder, and held out a hand for you to take. You squealed as he pulled you close to his chest and pecked your nose.

“You’re really cute, you know that?”

You grinned and bit your lip, looking up at him from your eyelashes. “Well, you tell me like, every day, so yeah, I got a feeling.”

Shawn laughed, a bubbling sound coming up from the deep of his chest and made your heart go crazy, before he kissed you slow and passionately.

“Come on, let’s get to the hotel.” He laced his hand with yours, and started to drag you out of the room, as the two of you wore matching smiles.

The sun was shining, the birds were singing and you were the happiest you had been in months. Laying as close to Shawn as possible, feeling his soft breath on your ear, and his arms wrapped around your waist.

Shawn hadn’t woken up yet, but in a way you were happy for it. Now you could look at him, and see that he had just shaved, or that his eyebrows were plucked, and you could admire the way the light cast shadows on his face. He was honestly beautiful. How had you ended up with him again?

It wasn’t long after you woke up that he did.

“G’mornin beautiful.” He rasped, his voice husky from just waking up and from all the singing yesterday.

“Good morning. I didn’t wake you, did I?”

He smiled and shook his head, while squinting his eyes, making him look adorable. “No, I woke by myself.”

“Yes?” He asked, his eyes looking down at yours in curiosity.
“I love you so much.”

He paused and smiled down at you, adoration in his eyes.

“I love you too, Y/N, so very much.” He said, before he pecked your nose.

And for a while, you laid there, listening to the birds and each other’s heartbeats, not caring about a thing in the world except you two.
