Rock Island Action

Here we see both a passenger train (one of the famous Rockets) and a freight at Marley Road near New Lenox, Illinois.

At the time I was in a high school photography class and had borrowed an old beat up Yashica twin-lens reflex camera. The framing was awkward, as I was not used to the strange waste-level finder, and so these pictures have been cropped into a rectangle from the square.
