yam noodles

Veggies, Shrimp, Shirataki.

Ingredients: olive oil, ½ tsp roasted cumin, 2 cloves garlic, a pinch of ginger powder, red bell pepper, zucchini/courgette, shrimp, noodles, lime juice, liquid aminos (soy sauce alternative).

Normally, I upload the photo(s) before I eat the dish, or let my son eat his, in case the pictures don’t come out.

Past reasons: forgot to put in sd card, had the camera on the wrong setting, or my OS just decided it didn’t recognize my sd card.

This time I disregarded my rule and ate half the food before I started writing this. Delicious!!

I have never grown zucchini before. To harvest it, I figured out that I needed to twist instead of pull. I didn’t want to uproot the plant. :|

Fresh-picked food is… wonderful-tasting.

Ok, so back to the ‘now’. The pics (and the recipe) turned out nicely. :)

Pasta bolognese ala Paleo

Of course my pasta didnt look like this… I didn’t find my picture good enough! Was delicious though…

1 batch of no-mato tomato sauce (follow the instructions until the cooking part, so get the raw liquid ready basically - http://autoimmunepaleosimply.tumblr.com/post/100131460164/nightshade-free-marinara-aka-no-mato-sauce-this )
1 lbs of ground beef
1 small onion
1 carrot
2 tbs olive oil
Salt & pepper

1 bag of sweet potato starch noodles

On the oil sauté the chopped up onions. Add your ground beef, salt and pepper and cook it until done (about 5-10 minutes).
Pour the no-mato sauce in the pan on the meat, stir it in and bring them to a boil (or just make them bubbly, then simmer down and cook for 15-20 minutes.

Boil water and add your pasta, cook it for about 10 minutes, drain, serve with the sauce.
