Taken from a double exposed roll where I shot the first layer under the flight path at Stansted Airport then added a second among the daisies on Jesus Green, Cambridge.

Film swap between eleanorrigby236 & delusiana
Cambodia vs Kuala Lumpur

____

This post was way overdue as it was a swap we planned years ago but due to time constraints ie: work, thesis, exams, life in general got in the way but nevertheless here it is!

The roll was first shot by eleanorrigby236 at the Angkor Wat in Siam Reap, Cambodia around 2 years ago with an LC-Wide. She then passed it to me and I basically chucked it somewhere and forgot all about it until I did some life reorganizing and decided to shoot the roll.

The idea was for eleanorrigby236 to shoot textures and for me to shoot portraits so as to create a dreamy double…hence the usage of the Lensbaby Sweet 35. We really don’t know where the light leaks came from but we both agree that it made the swap so much more interesting…artsy even.

As for technicalities, eleanorrgby236 had underexposed the film 1 stop (200ISO) and I shot it at box speed (100ISO). I chose to shoot my model, the pretty Mara Beha against the sunlight to capture her silhouette with hopes that the textures will be integrated into her features (photo no 3). Another way to achieve this is to shoot your subject against a white background, ie: a white wall (photo no 4 & 5).

So there you go. Have a good weekend everyone and shoot more film.
