Awesome underated comedy/slice of life to whatch

I have to say it I wasn’t that much fan of comedy as a genre since I love tragedy and sad anime mores but once in a while we all need a good anime to make us laugh loudly:D. I became a fan of the genre after watching gintama I guess but I wanted to share some others anime that made me literally cry for the too much laugh.

1.

Tanaka-kun wa Itsumo Kedaruge

I literally fell in love with the anime. The comedy is great, the characters are awesome and special in their own way. And oh tanaka, his seiyuu (ono kensho) was awesome as always, no need to say he is one of my most favorites ever lol.

Synopsis

For high school student Tanaka, the act of being listless is a way of life. Known for his inattentiveness and ability to fall asleep anywhere, Tanaka prays that each day will be as uneventful as the last, seeking to preserve his lazy lifestyle however he can by avoiding situations that require him to exert himself. Along with his dependable friend Oota who helps him with tasks he is unable to accomplish, the lethargic teenager constantly deals with events that prevent him from experiencing the quiet and peaceful days he longs for.

Whatch it if you’re searching for:

  •  Great comedy
  • Fluffy dramma with some hints of romace
  • Lovely soundtrack
  • The art is so cute and on point
  • The gags are hilarious and quite original
  • Watch it for the amazing brotp

You only need tanaka as a reason tho , he is the real Mvp, I’m quite fond of him

2.

Hoozuki no Reitetsu

Meet hoozuki one of the most badass characters I’ve seen in anime. This was such  a fresh breath of air. I mean, how often do you see the king of hell being treated like a little punk Lmao. And they announced it will have a second season yay

Synopsis

Hell is a bureaucracy, and business is running smoother than ever thanks to the demonic efficiency of Hoozuki, chief deputy to Lord Enma, the King of Hell. Whether offering counsel to the Momotarou of Japanese folklore or receiving diplomatic missions from the Judeo-Christian Hell, the demon who runs the show from behind the king’s imposing shadow is ready to beat down any challenges coming his way into a bloody pulp. Metaphorically, of course… The poster boy for micromanagement and armed with negotiation skills worthy of Wall Street, Hoozuki no Reitetsu follows the sadistic and level-headed Hoozuki as he spends his days troubleshooting hell. With an abundance of familiar faces from popular Japanese legends and East Asian mythology working middle management positions, this referential and anachronistic dark comedy brings new meaning to the phrase “employer liability.” Just how hard could it be to manage employees from hell, anyway? [Written by MAL Rewrite]

For the fans of tonari no kaibutsu kun, they also made an apparence in hoozuki

Watch it if you’re searching for:

  • Badass yet not overpowered as fuck characters
  • For the great comedy
  • Watch it if you’re interested in the japanese folklore
  • The lovely and refreshing artstyle
  • Watch it for those two Lmao, You will laugh until your stomach hurts, I garantee that

Gugure! Kokkuri-san

Thi anime is such a gem and yet noone seem to know it bruh. The characters were all crazy and yet tender. The comedy is great and I love how they want to break most of the tropes in comedy anime Lmao

Synopsis

Kohina Ichimatsu, the self-proclaimed doll, called out the fox ghost Kokkuri-san with a suspicious incantation! But it was a story of the past where Kokkuri-san was able to answer any question you had. Nowadays, it relies on a certain search engine, but is actually bad at anything digital. He was going to possess Kohina, but got worried about her living all alone and devotes himself to do chores as if he was her mother. On top of that, the dog ghost Inugami who is infatuated with Kohina and the old good-for-nothing supernatural raccoon dog Shigaraki decide to root themselves with her as well!

(Source: Crunchyroll)

Watch it if you’re searching for:

  • Hilarious comedy
  • The lovely character devolpment of the main protagonist
  • The fluffy yet adorable bonds that  the anime manages to create
  • Attractive spirit struggling with a mid-life crisis due to him fearing for his relevance in the the modern world Lol

Saiki Kusuo no Ψ-nan (TV)

The only anime that managed to make me laugh this much was gintama. This is literally a masterpiece Lmao since it never fails to make you laugh

Synopsis

To the average person, psychic abilities might seem a blessing; for Kusuo Saiki, however, this couldn’t be further from the truth. Gifted with a wide assortment of supernatural abilities ranging from telepathy to x-ray vision, he finds this so-called blessing to be nothing but a curse. As all the inconveniences his powers cause constantly pile up, all Kusuo aims for is an ordinary, hassle-free life—a life where ignorance is bliss.

Unfortunately, the life of a psychic is far from quiet. Though Kusuo tries to stay out of the spotlight by keeping his powers a secret from his classmates, he ends up inadvertently attracting the attention of many odd characters, such as the empty-headed Riki Nendou and the delusional Shun Kaidou. Forced to deal with the craziness of the people around him, Kusuo comes to learn that the ordinary life he has been striving for is a lot more difficult to achieve than expected.

things i want from supergirl

give me the first time kara is patrolling the skies and she hears maggie’s heartbeat skyrocket. and look, we all know kara’s probably stumbled in on maggie and alex at least once, so kara knows what /that/heartbeat sounds like.

this isn’t that.

this is faster and different and kara as supergirl is worried so she heads that way,

fast.

and maybe it turns out to be nothing, but chances are, it’s not. chances are it’s detective sawyer hauling a little kid behind her, a little boy with a fat lip and a black eye and an arm kara can see that is broken without her x-ray vision. and maybe it’s maggie with her hand protectively on the shoulder of the little boy, keeping him firmly behind her and maybe the other has her gun leveled at the gun leveled at her.

and this was only supposed to be a statement collection maggie will tell kara later - that’s why there was no back up.

but kara worries that she won’t get there fast enough because maggie has a terrified kid in one hand, a gun in the other and her eyes leveled at a man who is threatening to kill her. and kara, well she shows up just in time.

she shows up through a window, skidding through an open door because she used her super hearing and she heard, she /heard/ the way the mans muscles were tensing in his hand. she heard the slightest shift of the loaded gun and kara knew.

so she dove and rolled and skidded and is standing, wobbling, catching a bullet with her fingertips. she’s catching it and clutching it and turning to the man who fired it because

maggie sawyer isn’t allowed to die.

[maggie doesn’t know that yet, but kara will tell her]

  • i’m not sure entirely how it would first go, but i imagine they’re laying around and keith is really intensely playing with lance’s fingers (like really intensely he looks like he’s trying to x-ray vision them u ok there buddy?)
    • and lance is just watching him and it hits him full force his heart literally starts aching and he just pulls his hand away
    • keith is confused for a second and kind of like :’( until lance cradles his jaw and says in a slightly trembling voice “can i kiss you right now?”
    • the answer is yes
  • they try to hide it for a while because they’re afraid it might mess up the team dynamic
    • except they try hiding it by not touching each other as much,, which is when they realize how much they were touching each other and they’re both like “how did we even go this long without realizing?”
    • shiro eventually asks if something is wrong between them because he notices they’re standing apart a lot (on a separate note have you noticed how often these two are standing next to each other in canon it’s like they’re drawn to each other i’m fjdsal;k)
    • keith, smooth as ever, just blurts out “I KISSED HIM”
    • shiro is a little surprised but he just smiles softly and is like “that’s great, keith. i already thought you had, though?”
    • keith: did EVERYONE know except us???
  • they’re teenagers you know,, so they’re always all over each other
    • keith’s hair is literally always a mess
    • sometimes it’s braided but it half falls apart because lance can’t stop running his hands through his hair when they’re kissing
    • keith, mumbling into lance’s mouth: you’re ruining your work
    • lance: worth it
    • someone knocks on the door once and they scramble to put their shirts on and open it like “hey, nothing interesting happening here!” except,, they’re wearing the wrong shirts,, a mess
    • or,, hunk, peering at keith’s neck very closely: dude, what are those purple marks? are you ok? they look like bruises?
    • keith, flustered and tugging at his collar: NOTHING IT S NOTHING just my… galra genes!!! yeah!! my galra-ness kicking in!! you know how it is!!
  • lance unabashedly flirting over the coms
  • they’re literally so sappy and cheesy all the time. they’re that couple that has an entire conversation using eye contact and forgets to explain what’s going on to the rest of the team
  • lance pretty much moves in keith’s bedroom. keith pretty much steals all his shirts and doesn’t have to feel guilty about it anymore (he had like 5 already and when lance finds them he won’t leave him alone about it)
  • thank youu

Do you remember the doll you wanted so badly on your birthday? There was this huge pile of presents on the table, but none of that mattered. It was like you had x-ray vision; you went straight to it, ripped it open, and that was it. Party over. As adults, we learn to carefully open all the rest of the presents. We are taught to smile, and to pretend they’re all equally important to us. But our heart always knows the truth.

kara loses the engagement ring.

ok. first off. she doesn’t like, lose it willy-nilly-unresponsible-like. like, she’s flying to fight a ten story tall alien and it just happens to get lost in the superhero-quick-change-shuffle scenario. totally plausible. totally understandable.

she really thinks that her x-ray vision can save her by the time her dinner reservations roll around but alas. a hero must always struggle.

is she upset about the last five months of her paycheck being chunked out and lost for forever? ask her later. preferably when lena’s said yes.

lena is sitting in her black and purple work outfit and she looks captivating in the fancy dinner light and the wine is good and expensive and the place is fancy and perfect and there’s no paparazzi and kara doesn’t have the ring. doesn’t have a plan. rao. clark warned her about this.

lena says something about dessert but kara’s too busy focusing on her next words, the conjugation of “hey so you wanna be my wife? because that’d make me happy” and how to make it sound not casual at all. it would really very help her if she had a ring, goddamn little expensive rock that she’s lost.

alex told her to wait. alex told her to put the black box on her shelf and not take the chance of shoving it into the emergency pocket of her suit. but wanting to not waste a second on proposals is an emergency, right? kara tells herself this as the waiter brings a tray of fancy cheesecakes to choose from. kara blurts out ‘blueberry’ without thinking and then lena’s smirking like she knows everything that’s going on in kara’s head. which, she doesn’t. she shouldn’t. kara’s inner thoughts are the equivalent of a burning room right now. lena shouldn’t know that.

the music is jazzy. the place is dark. the candles are romantic. kara’s ring is nowhere to be found.

she swallows the last of her drink. a placebo. let her live - she’s about to make the smartest or silliest decision of her life.

(ring or no ring, it’s the smartest. she knows this in her core.)

lena’s taken the last bite of her dessert when kara’s just mustered up enough courage. this is it. this is the jump. kara straightens in her seat, looks lena in the eye, and —

“miss?”

it’s the waiter. he looks almost sheepish to be interrupting them and kara has a crick in her neck from turning so hard but the half smile on his face gives him away. “you dropped this on your way into the seating room.” he places a small black box onto the table and bows, turns away before kara can utter a sound.

kara reaches for the box with shaky fingers, her lungs suddenly too small and her heart too open.

clark told her to wait. alex had recommended a six month plan. kara blinks, thinks of today’s and tomorrow’s and how lena makes coffee in her bare feet in kara’s kitchen, messy hair and sleepy frown brightening up kara’s day with or without the sun.

she picks up the box. lena’s heart skips a beat. kara dives off the deep end.

(later, she thanks winn for the emergency pocket design. lena recommends a zipper for the remodel.)

Bat-Aunt: Part 3

Prompt:  An universe where Bruce wasn’t left all alone. See the changes a younger Wayne sister makes for a Bruce Wayne with something left to fight for.

AN: I struggled a bit with this chapter but I love how it turned out!!!

Words: 2320

Part 1, Part 2

You do your best to try and ignore the vibrating phone on the table and focus on the presentation at hand. ‘Try’ being the key word. You’re so distracted by the sound, that you don’t even realize the presenter has stopped and everyone is staring at you, until Lucius clears his throat. He gives you a small smile, and you cross your arms over your chest, “If I pick up the phone, I won’t be coming back to this meeting, and we all know it.”

You’re met with several little smiles from the board members, “Who is it this time?” One of them asks. You think his name is Katsuki.

You shrug, “It’s been a mixture of both my brother and my nephew.”

    “Could be an emergency.”

You scoff and roll your eyes, “The last emergency they had was when Alfred was out shopping, and Richard couldn’t find his socks. I am not their keeper, and I am certainly not their mother. I am trying to run a multi-billion dollar company, I do not have time to list off random places things might be.”

The room of men continues to stare at you for several seconds, as a brand new round of buzzing starts up. With a growl, you finally pick up the phone, and simply say, “What do you want?”

    “Secure channel, 6978.”

It takes everything you have to not go stiff as a board. Instead, you keep your body relaxed, cover the receiver of the phone, and simply say, “Gentlemen I’ll get the notes from Mr. Fox. It seems to be a bit more serious than socks.”

There’s several chuckles, as you force yourself to walk out of the room. The minute the door closes you sprint. You pull the complicated heels off and you run. You stop by your office just long enough to grab your bag, and tell your assistant you’ll be out for the rest of the day and the next.

The entire time, the phone remains in your hand. Only once you’re safely in your car, do you enter the code into your phone and respond, “Channel 6978 is secure. Go on Robin.”

“Batman is down. He’s hurt bad and in surgery. J’onn is operating.”

You take a deep breath, “All right, I’m on my way back to the house. Where are you, the cave or the station?”

    “Station.”

You bite back a curse. If they were at the station, then it was bad. “I’ll see you soon.”

    “What?”

    “I’m coming up there.”

“I don’t think Batman would like that.”

You roll your eyes, “That’s Batman’s problem, he doesn’t think.”

The next time Robin speaks it’s a bit lighter, “Some would say he thinks too much.”

“Good thing you and I know the truth.”

    “See you soon, aunt Y/N.”

You pull into the driveway in front of the Manner, leaving tracks in your wake. You pass through the door, and throw your shoes and bag to the side. You full-on run to the clock, before hurrying to the cave.

Alfred is there and waiting for you. His face is grim, “The zeta-tubes are ready Ms. Y/N.”

    You nod, “Are you coming?”

Your surrogate father shakes his head, “I’ll hold the fort down here. Take good care of your brother.” You nod, before moving through the machine.

It doesn’t feel very different at first. You’d imagine that space would feel more weightless. But you don’t, instead you feel as though you’re vibrating somewhat. It takes you a minute to regain yourself before, you see him.

Despite having watched the boy grow several inches over the past two years, in this moment Richard Grayson looks small. He looks like the child he is, instead of the hero that is typically on the surface.

You open your arms, and your nephew runs into them. He’s too big for you to pick up, but you squeeze him tight. You don’t bother promising useless things; the boy had watched his parents die at age eight, and he’d been fighting crime ever since. He knows that life isn’t fair.

You don’t let go until he does. When he steps back, he gives you a big smile, and offers your his hand. He takes it, and leads you towards the med-bay. You’ve done your best to stay out of this little club; to allow your brother and nephew to spend time with their fellow weirdos in tights.

You’d spent the better part of the past two years running the computers, as well as Wayne Enterprises. As far as these people were concerned Batman was a cold-blooded superhero run by logic.

If only they knew the truth. Your brother was run by family. Since Richard had come into your lives your brother had flourished. Instead of spending weekends out at parties with supermodels, he now spent them coaching Richard’s scholastic bowl team, or going to baseball games. Things like that. The biggest plus of all, was that you had stopped running into his gold diggers in the morning.

Alfred had made that perfectly clear. If there was a child in the house, there were no casual flings brought in. You were fine with that. Your life consisted of work, and “after hours” work. You’d abandoned any chance at a social life, when your brother had come back after years away; with an insane idea that you had foolishly supported.

You pause as you enter the hallway outside the med bay. You’re a bit surprised to find it empty. “The league is in a meeting. They asked me to let them know when you got here.”

You give a silent nod, and watch as your nephew runs off. For a minute you can’t believe it’s already been two years. Most of the time it seems as though Richard had been there the entire time.

Letting out a long breath you slump down against the wall. All at once everything seems to catch up to you; the stress, the lack of sleep, the meetings, how much your feet hurt …and then you realize you’re not wearing any shoes. You had left them in the hallway at Wayne Enterprises.

You let out a laugh that could only be described as crazy. You’re so lost in your thoughts that you never hear him approach. So, when that hand lands on your shoulder, you let out a shrill scream and throw a punch into what has to be solid granite.

You let out a stream of expletives that Alfred would have grounded you for, even now. “Sorry, didn’t mean to scare you.”

Through the pain you grit out the word, “Startle.”

The man’s brow bunches together, “I’m sorry?”

You bit out your next words, “You didn’t scare me, you startled me.”

When he smiles at you, you consider trying the punch again, but your hand hurts too much, “Either way, we should probably set that. It’s broken.”

    “And you know that how?”

That go lucky grin stays in place as he simply says, “X-ray vision.”

And just like that, your brother’s rants about Superman start to make sense. If the rest of his ramblings end up being true, you’re going to make him wish he had never gotten hurt. A bit reluctantly you follow him to the med bay, and sit down while he goes around collecting supplies. His cape swishes back and forth as he walks.

He smiles as he starts the process of setting and casting your arm, “Your pout is the same.” You stare at him, and he clarifies, “You and Bruce, your pout is the same.”

“I’m a grown ass woman, I do not pout.”

“Weird, your brother says the same thing.”

You scowl. “So, where did you learn how to do this?”

“A combination of x-ray vision, some medical training from J’onn, and a necessity from the job.”

You don’t say another word. You wait until he’s done and slide off the table. Without another word you walk back into the hallway, and take a seat on the bench. You stare at the cast and try to think up an explanation for the public.

Not for the first time you wish you were Bruce. Wish you had the ability to disappear for a month without anyone caring. But you don’t have that luxury. You’re the face of Wayne Enterprises and the family. Bruce stayed as far from the spotlight as was humanly possible, and you could understand that.

He’s been in it for his entire childhood. He’d shielded you from it, and now it was your turn to do the same for him.

“Well, well, well. Y/N Wayne as I live and breathe.”

You smile at the sound of the voice, and stand up to open your arms; Zatanna walks into your embrace without a second thought. She hugs you close and you value the contact. “Hi there Zee.”

“How’s my favorite Wayne Brat.”

You pull back, “Exhausted.”

“And apparently broken,” she says laying a hand on your new cast.

You roll your eyes, “I had a run in with a man of steel.”

Clark comes out a moment later and says, “I startled her.”

Zee just smiles, “Has anyone told you anything?”

You shrug, “You know me, I don’t ask questions I don’t want answers to.”

Her smile turns sympathetic, “Sometimes those questions still need to be asked.” You nod, and she continues, “It’s some sort of poison. Off world. J’onn was able to identify it, and he’s in the process of removing it. It’s no longer life threatening, but he’ll be down for a few days.”

You nod, “Great, I’ll get Alfred up here to keep him down.”

“I thought maybe you could do that. He listens to you.”

Your eyes go wide, “Sure he does, just like a puppy who peed on the carpet.”

Zee just smiles as an alarm goes off, “Just do me a favor and try, I have to go.”

You wave your hand, “Go on, I know the drill. Time to save the world.”

She shoots you one last smile before running down the hallway. Superman watches her go before giving you a smile and saying, “It was very nice to meet you Miss Wayne.”

You smirk, “Remember Supes, even steel can bend..”

He shoots you a smile before leaving.

You sink back down on to the bench and wait. Eventually, Richard finds his way back to you, and within no time he’s fast asleep, his head lying your lap. You rest your non casted hand on the top of his head, and take comfort in his steady breathing.

You’re about ready to pass out yourself, when a coffee cup appears in front of your face. “Figured you could use a jolt.”

You blink a few times at the new man in front of you, and it takes a moment for you to make the connection, “Flash?”

He smiles, and sits down next to you, “It’s Barry actually. Barry Allen.” You take the cup from him, and take a long sip of coffee. You relish the warmth.

“Where’s everyone else? I thought there was some sort of emergency.”

“There was. A volcano eruption. They’ve already managed to evacuate the citizens, now they’re just trying to relieve the pressure. I was stuck in Central City with a metahuman emergency, and by the time I finished they didn’t really need me anymore, so I volunteered to come up here; monitor the tower, and check on your brother.”

You give a small smile, “I haven’t heard anything, and J’onn hasn’t come out yet. I think he’s still trying to remove the poison.”

“A scary situation.”

“We’re currently in a space station that’s orbiting Earth. My brother is in surgery to remove an alien poison, because he feels the need to shoulder the weight of the world on his shoulders. Meanwhile, I run a multi-billion dollar company, haven’t slept in three days, and to make life even more complicated I have to find some way to keep him resting for the next week, while the streets of Gotham go unprotected. Which means people will die.”

By the end of your rant you’re breathing a bit heavily, but the smile is still on Barry’s face, “Sounds like your brother isn’t the only one carrying the weight of the world on his shoulders.”

You take a deep breath, “What I do isn’t anything compared to what he does.”

“You know when ever Bats is in a particularly bad mood, Zatanna or Robin brings you

up. It’ll be just a simple question, but he can’t resist answering. He always gets this really proud look on his face. It’s really amazing to see.”

You take a deep breath and still, as Richard readjusts. Once he’s settled, you say, “Bruce was there for most of my childhood. He did everything he could to protect me, and keep me safe. I didn’t really understand how our life was so different.

We were so blessed, we had everything we could ever want. And we had Alfred. Alfred is basically my dad. I never knew my parents. Still there’s this bit of a void there, I don’t like thinking about how much worse that void would be if my brother were to …”

Barry is silent for a moment before saying, “I think that’s the amazing thing about life. We make these connections, these bonds that mean the world to us. We can’t imagine things being different until suddenly they are. Then we have to adjust and sometimes we have to rebuild, but the important thing to remember, is that to rebuild we need a solid foundation. And the best foundation we can have, is the love and support of those we love and who love us.”

You stare at him for a moment before smiling, “You’re very insightful Mr. Allen.”

Neither of you says a word, and slowly your eyes close, and you’re out within minutes.

I impulsively decided to get my nipples pierced and didn’t tell anyone about it. My mom noticed it as soon as she saw me next and told me that the piercer did a wonky job on me and that one of my piercings was in the middle of my nipple and the other at the end of it (?). When I asked her how she knew about all of that, she just looked at me funny and mumbled something about her latent X-ray vision “that I clearly did not inherit”

#sanversweek day 3: “you’re drunk”

“Hey, Khara!”

Kara looks down at her phone for a second, suspicious. The phone says it’s Maggie calling, but Kara’s never heard Maggie’s voice sound like this before.

“Maggie?”

“Kkhhara! Hey! The sister of my – my Alex’s sister! The sister of my Alex!”

Kara lets out a deep breath. “Hoo boy.” Maggie’s drunk. Maggie’s shitfaced. Maggie’s shitfaced and Alex is out of town and Maggie called Kara.

And Maggie and Alex have been together for a while now, and things have been a lot better between Maggie and Kara since Alex was kidnapped, but they don’t exactly hang out without Alex. They can chill in the living room together while Alex runs around the corner to pick up dinner or whatever, but that’s pretty much it.

But Maggie’s shitfaced and Alex is out of town and out of all the people in city Maggie could have called, she called Kara.

So Kara gets Winn to track Maggie’s phone, because Maggie keeps accidentally hanging up on her out of excitement to be on the phone with “the sister of my Alex,” and so she finds herself standing outside a sports bar in a part of town she rarely goes to.

And she elbows her way inside and has to use her x-ray vision to find Maggie because she’s smashed up against the bar, surrounded by tall men yelling at TV screens.

“Kkhara!!” Maggie’s face practically splits into pieces from the force of her grin, dimples threatening to tunnel down into her gums, and Kara understands the power this woman has over her sister. That smile, honestly. “How’d you know I was here!?” Maggie is just thrilled with this turn of events, and she’s completely off her face but so happy that Kara can’t help but grin.

“I came to take you home, slugger. You’re a little drunk.” Kara reaches out a hand, but Maggie instead propels her entire body into motion, throwing an arm around Kara’s shoulders and pulling her into the bar. The force of it would have knocked most humans down, and Kara spares a moment to be grateful that her sister is so physically strong.

“No! Khhhara! You gotta stay, we gotta watch, I’m magic, I’m helping!” Maggie gestures with her other hand to the TVs which seem to be showing a hockey game.

“You’re watching the hockey game?” Kara’s confused – Maggie’s never mentioned hockey before.

“Yeah! But you gotta take a shot every time they fight, okay, super Kara?”

Kara pinches the bridge of her nose. “Hoo boy,” she says again. That’s a lot of shots.

“How about you take shots of water for the next few?” She offers.

Maggie blinks at her a few times, face serious, before she cracks another huge grin. “THE SISTER OF MY ALEX IS A BABY GENIUS,” she crows, waving her arms dramatically to make sure the whole bar knows.

She gets literally everyone in the entire bar to take a shot of water for the next fight, which Kara’s sure the bartenders are thrilled about, and she clinks with all the people around her, and makes them all cheers “to hydration.”

She’s fucking hilarious. Kara’s filled her phone with photos and videos, and she sneaks Maggie’s (inputting her sister’s birthday as Maggie’s lock code, because this woman is so fucking smitten it’s ridiculous) to take more footage.

By the end of the game, Maggie has transferred herself entirely onto Kara’s back, holding on like a koala. And she’s so happy, and she won’t stop yelling into Kara’s ear about how much she loves Alex, and how much Alex would love shots of water because Alex is a doctor and doctors love hydrating, and how much of her body is water, and how much she loves Alex, and how being smart must be genetic in the Danvers family, and how she knows they aren’t genetic-ed together because of the big ole secret she can’t say (Kara shoves another shot of water in her mouth there), and how much she loves Alex.

And Maggie makes Kara walk her all around the bar like a victory lap and she shakes hands with every single person in there, and calls them all “my dude” and she tells them all “I know you love me but I’m a lesbian for my Alex and this horse is her sister” and Kara is so glad to see that not one of them seems to even blink at that information.

Kara doesn’t get her out of the bar until about twenty minutes after the victory lap ends because Maggie remembered she had pictures of Alex on her phone and wanted to show them to everyone because “my Alex is the most beautiful doctor of aliens in the multiverse, my dudes.”

But finally they’re outside on the sidewalk, Maggie still piggybacked on Kara.

Kara considers her options, and figures it can’t hurt.

She trots to a nearby alley and transfers Maggie from her back to her front, tucking her firmly underneath one arm.

“What are you doing, my horse of Alex? Where are you – OH MY GO—WHOOOOOOAAAAAA!” They lift off, Kara going slowly at first in case Maggie is going to freak out or get squirmy.

But Maggie’s eyes just get super wide and she whoops and she is clearly so fucking delighted. Kara flies her home the long way, detouring over the ocean and doing a couple loops because she’s never seen Maggie so happy, so light, so childish, so thrilled.

When Kara touches them down inside Maggie’s living room, Maggie looks up at her, eyes glassy with happiness. “Can we do that again with my Alex?”

Maggie wakes up to one of the worst headaches she’s ever had.

She groans, and it takes her nearly ten minutes to screw up the courage to open her eyes.

She rolls over – so slowly – and grabs her phone off her nightstand. She can’t believe she remembered to plug it in. She must have been off her fucking face last night – she can barely remember a thing.

Her face screws up in confusion – she has like a million texts in the group message with Kara, Winn, James, and Alex. She scrolls through them, realizing that they’re photos and videos from Kara documenting her whole night.

This is monumentally embarrassing.

Alex clearly woke up earlier, and has already flooded Maggie with loving texts, admiring her shots technique and confirming her medical approval of “water shots.” Alex says that she loves her and that she’ll be home tonight and she’s ordered a pizza to be delivered at 12:30pm to get Maggie through her hangover.

She’s the perfect woman.

Maggie has one more text, this one from Kara.

i had the BEST time last night, my dude. can’t wait for the next hockey game. xox -the sister/horse of your alex.

Too many people. Too many different colors. Too many different heartbeats.

Your uncle had thought it would be a great idea to take you up to the watchtower to meet the rest of the League.

Instead, you had lost him in the crowd. You searched for the familiar blue and red, but you weren’t used to this many people. His heartbeat was indiscernible in the cacophony of heartbeats surrounding you.

“Uncle Clark?” You whispered softly, spinning in a circle slowly. Your cape swished around your legs and you tripped over the edge of it, falling backwards.

Strong hands caught you, and you breathed a sigh of relief as your uncle lifted you up.

“I’m sorry, Y/N, I shouldn’t have left.” He apologizes as he floats above the crowd, holding your hand.

“Where did you go?” You say, looking around.

The view from the watchtower is incredible, and you can’t help but stare at the Earth from this angle.

“Batman arrived, and he brought his son, Damian.” He grimaces a bit when he says his name. “I had to talk to Bruce so he would keep Damian in line.”

“How old is Damian?” You question, turning to float on your back.

“He’s a year older than you.”

“So, ten?” You do a back flip and laugh.

“Yeah, he’s ten. Come on, they’re down there.” He begins his descent towards Gotham’s Heroes.

A wave of shyness overtakes you suddenly.

What if Damian doesn’t like you? You had heard about the child from Conner, who met him once when he was with Tim. According to Kon, he was “a literal demon from hell.”

You sped up and stayed behind your Uncle’s giant frame, so you wouldn’t be seen.

“Batman.” He greeted the man in black.

Batman’ voice was unnaturally deep, and your hearing picked up on the tiniest bit of flaw in the voice, so you knew it wasn’t his real voice.

“Hello, Superman. You’ve met Robin?” You use your x-ray vision to see him gesture to the boy standing next to him.

He has black hair and blue eyes, and his outfit is the most different from the other Robin’s, with a hood shadowing his eyes, which are covered by a domino mask.

It had never occurred to you to wear a mask. Your Uncle didn’t, and neither did Kara or Kon. Your glasses had always been the most concealment you needed.

No one suspected the Kent family to be superheroes. Although, a few had commented on how odd it was that everyone but Lois wore glasses.

“Weren’t you planning on bringing your niece?” Batman questioned, crossing his arms.

“She’s-” Clark turned and saw you standing behind him. You smiled and waved sheepishly.

“Y/N,” he said in a mock stern tone.

You lifted so your feet were a few inches off the ground, and giggled, your cheeks turning a light shade of pink.

He stepped aside, an you moved with him. Every move he made, you copied him, all the while giggling playfully.

Finally, his arms shot out and grabbed you, before whirling around and holding you in front of him.

You laughed, curling your legs up in the air.

A cough brought your attention back to the intimidating pair, and you straightened, looking in awe at Batman.

“Hello, Y/N, I’m Bruce, and this is-”

“Tt. I can introduce myself father.” The boy cut him off. He faced you and you looked at him with interest. “I am Damian.” He held his hand out, and you tentatively reached out and shook it.

“I expected more strength from a Kryptonian.” He said under his breath, so low that if it hadn’t been for your enhanced hearing, the comment would have gone unnoticed.

You plaster a smile on your face and squeeze his hand harder, before letting go and stepping back, satisfied. >

As you fly to meet the other heroes, you can’t help but hear a conversation between the duo.

“What do you think of her.”

“She interests me, and she is already more tolerable than Drake.”
