Alex had been ignoring you lately, and you didn’t even know why. He had been off and distant after the whole Apocalypse fiasco and nearly dying.

You sat in Alex’s room, little sparks shooting out from your fingers and jumping onto your other hand. Your mutation was electrokinesis. It wasn’t the worst mutation, but it surely wasn’t the greatest either. It surfaced when you were in seventh grade, a bit later than most mutants here. You were just at home, working on your art project when you felt a pulse of electricity through you, but you thought nothing of it. When you got up to get something your socks were rubbing against the carpet, creating even more electric friction. As soon as your hand had landed on the metal of radio it blew out, sparks erupting from every inch of the object and your hands. You had screamed out for your parents and the rushed to you, faces full of worry. When your father’s hand landed on your shoulder he was electrocuted and stumbled backwards. After that your parents sent you away to the school, hoping that your ‘disease’ as they called it would be cured. So far that didn’t happen, it only got worse.

The door to his room opened and you sat up, fixing your messy hair. Alex though his jacket and bag on the ground, huffing in…annoyance? Anger?

“Hey babe, what’s wrong?” You asked standing up and walking over to him. Alex ignored you, sitting on his bed and running his hands down his face. You frowned, wondering why he just blew you off. “Alex..?”

“What?” He snapped, his head turning in your direction. You gulped, playing with the bracelet around your wrist, the one he gave to you on your one year anniversary.

“Is something wrong? You’ve been ignoring me and you’ve been distant since whole thing with Apocalypse…” You looked at him, watching him closely.

Scoffing he rolled his eyes. “I’m perfectly fine, Y/N. Now go along and go do something else besides bothering me.” You rose an eyebrow, stalking over to him and standing in front of him with your arms crossed.

“Why the hell are you acting like this to me? I have done nothing, nothing wrong to hurt you or bother you in any way, so please tell me what the hell I did wrong to be treated the way you’ve been treating me.” Alex stood up, nearly towering over you but you weren’t scared of his height or anything about him for that matter.

“it’s not you it’s me, okay? I haven’t been thinking straight and I’m not happy, I’m really fucking upset, and you’re always just talking, talking, talking and it’s so god damn annoying!” His voice was raising, and that only made yours raise.

“I’m annoying? I’m annoying? Really, what do you think couples are supposed to do, Alex? Just fuck and then ignore each other?” You shot at him. “Am I not making you happy? Is that why I seem annoying to you?”

“I don’t know! All I know is that I’m just sick and tired of having to please you or the others, hell even myself and it’s not making me happy. This relationship isn’t making me happy!” Your heart shattered at his words and then you finally realized that he didn’t even want to be in this relationship with you, all of the feeling were completely one sided. Alex went wide eyed as he realized what he just said to you and before he could even speak another word you yelled at him.

“Are you happy now? Huh? DOES THIS MAKE YOU HAPPY?” Tears stung your eyes and your tried your hardest not to have the spill out. “Does us fighting make you happy? Does faking your love for someone make you happy?” Alex reached out and raised your hand, glaring at him. The lights above you flickered and you eyes sparked dangerously.

“Wait no baby I’m sorry I didn’t-” Alex spoke quickly but you just put on your jacket, shaking your head and laughing dryly.

“Don’t ‘baby’ me, Summers. If this relationship isn’t making you happy, if I’m not making you happy than we can be friends instead.” Alex looked shocked, broken at your words and you opened the door to his room, stepping out before turning and saying, “Actually let’s just not be friends, I’ve wasted enough time on you, I don’t need to waste anymore.” With that you slammed the door behind you, running to your room and then collapsing onto the floor. All around you sparks shot out from your body, and you could feel the energy just draining and making you weaker.

The door to your room opened and in walked Scott and Jean. You must have looked like a total mess to the, so pathetic and sad. The two ran over to you, Jean carefully lifting you up and getting you to look at her.

“Hey, hey what happened? Why are you crying?” She asked, wiping away some of the tears that streamed down your face. You sniffled looking down at you lap.

“Alex and I broke up, he said that the relationship wasn’t making him happy..” You mumbled. Jeans mouth gaped open and she pulled you into a tight hug, rubbing your back as you let loose the tears once again. “I wasted years on him, Jean. I wasted so much time thinking that he actually loved me, but really everything was just one sided.” You mumbled, pulling away from Jean’s embrace. “God I’m so fucking stupid.” You muttered.

“You’re not stupid, Y/N, Alex is the stupid one for letting you go and saying such horrible things to you.” Scott said, patting your back softly. You shrugged, wiping your eyes and taking in a deep breathe.

“I need to do something, anything. It feel like my insides are burning and my heart hurts so bad.” You mumbled, standing up. Jean and Scott followed suit.

“We can go get ice-cream at the mall? From your favorite place and then walk around, just looking at stuff and talking?” You nodded. “I’ll get the others too, just to show you and Alex that you don’t need to be in a relationship to be happy.” You chuckled, nodding and giving a weak smile. Jean hugged you again before the three of you walked out of your room to find the rest of your friends.

You, Jean, Scott, Jubilee, Kurt, and Peter went to the mall, blasting music from he radio as your all drove down there. When you got there everyone jumped out, dragging you along with them, everyone smiling and joking around as they usually would. The group of mutants walked into the mall, going straight for your favorite ice-cream shop. Everyone ordered their ice-creams, you being last. When you reached the counter you were mesmerized by the boy that stood behind the counter. He looked back at you with a smile.

“What can I get you, Miss?” He asked. You shook your head slightly and looked over all the flavors.

“Um..can I get a scoop of cookie dough, a scoop of chocolate and peanut butter, with whipped cream, sprinkles, and choclate drizzle. The boy laughed and nodded, putting your order into the cash register and then putting everything in a bowl. You reached for your wallet but the boy shook his head, stopping you.

“You look like you’ve had a rough day, I’ll pay for this sweetheart.” He said smiling and handing you your ice-cream. You blushed as you took the bowl from him, your fingers brushing, sending a small spark up the boys arm. He looked at you in amazement. Your eyes went wide.

“I-I’m so sorry! I didn’t, I didn’t mean to do that!” You say quickly, pulling your hands back. The boy chuckled and shook his head.

“It’s okay, I won’t judge.” He smiled, holding out his hand. “My name’s Leo by the way.” You smiled back, shaking his hand.

“Y/N.” You pulled your hand back, tucking a piece of hair behind your ear. “Well I should probably get going, it was nice to meet you, Leo.” Leo smiled and you walked off, jogging over to your friends with a smile spread wide across your face.

Peter looked over at you, raising an eyebrow. “For someone who just got out of a relation ship, you look pretty damn happy. Did you talk to that guy at the ice-cream shop or something?” You nodded, taking a bite of your ice-cream.

“Mhm, I did.” Jean chuckled at you, slightly nudging you.

“Meeting other people does help when you’re trying to move on.” Scott noted, You furrowed your eyebrows.

Did you want to move on?

Warnings: Small spoilers if you haven’t seen X-Men: First Class, and bad writing on my behalf. Finally one without any angst, it’s pretty much all fluff!

Note: After having watched all the X-Men movies, I was in a mood to write some Charles Xavier fluff. Can I just say that he will be the end of me? Also, requests are open and any feedback is greatly appreciated!

When two men had walked into your office, who you would later call friends, you had sensed the feeling of someone trying to peer into your mind. Very quickly had you put your walls up, effectively blocking off whoever it was. And later, you would realize that the men were mutants, just like you, and the man who had tried to look into your mind was none other than Charles Xavier.

Though skeptic at first, since you hadn’t known that there were other people like you, you had accepted their offer and joined them. Growing up, you had managed to get a good grip on your mutation, making you not have to practice, but rather assist Charles with helping the other mutants.

You constantly had your walls up, in fear that Charles would accidentally find out about the feelings that you bore for him. With this, the two of you had agreed to never read the other’s mind, seeing as you were both telepathic. The agreement had left you a little less cautious about him finding out about the crush, but nonetheless, you were still on edge.

One month and two weeks. A month and two weeks since you saw Alex. You had visited Leo quite often, seeing as though the entire group of people would drag you out to the mall just so that you’d be able see Leo.

As you sat at one of tables in the food court of the mall, you couldn’t help but glance around, hoping to find Leo in the sea full of people. Sighing you stand up, deciding that he’s probably just to busy to come and say hi. You pushed in your chair starting to walk away when you heard your name being called out.

“Y/N! Y/N, hey wait up!” You turn around to see Leo rushing towards you, a smile on his face. You smile back, standing there and waiting for him to catch up to you. When he did he wrapped you in his arms, calming your nerves a bit. Leo pushed away and walked the two of your over to an empty table, his hand still connected in yours. You gave a weak smile, repositioning yourself in your chair. “So how’ve you been?” He asked, a grin on his face.

Shrugging, your free hand went to the bracelet that Alex had given to you. You never took it off, never have and never will; it was just something to keep you calm. “Good I guess, just trying to get back into the swing of things.” Leo nodded, seeming to understand your situation. “How are you though?” Leo mimicked your previous actions.

“Things are good, I think I’m falling for someone.” He beamed, eyes locking with yours. Your heart started thumping hard against your chest, and you thought that you may have a heart attack at any moment now. Gulping you glanced to the side of him.

“And who is this mystery person that you speak of, Leo?”

You could tell he was nervous just by the look in his eyes, but his voice was calm and smooth. “You.” His words made your head turn back to meet his gaze. “Y/N, I know we’ve only known each other for a month or so, and you’re still getting over that Alex guy, but will go on one date with me? Please?” Leo didn’t sound desperate, he sounded like he genuinely wanted to take you out on a date. And you being you, said yes because you didn’t want to be a mean person.

Leo cheered so loud, that most of the people in the food court turned their heads to see what was going on. Leo sat back down after a minute of doing a little happy dance. He looked down at his watch, sighing. “I have to get back to work, but tomorrow night I’m taking you out.” He stood up, pushing in his chair. “I’ll be at the school by 8:00.” With that, Leo gave a small kiss to your cheek and walked back to the ice-cream shop.

What had you just gotten yourself into?

The following day came all to quickly. When you got back to the school you were harassed with questions from your friends about Leo. “What happened?” “Did he ask you out?” “When are you guys going on your date?” “Can I help you pick out your outfit?” You laughed at your friends, pushing them away just enough to where you had your own room.

“Yes he did ask me out, and yes I said yes. We’re going out tonight, and yes you may help me with my outfit.” Your friends cheered, smiling and saying how cute you and Leo would be, but then again they said that when you and Alex started dating too. Shaking away the memories of Alex, you let your friends lead you up to your room and start getting you ready for your date.

Jubilee blasted her music, her, Jean, Ororo, and yourself screaming out the lyrics at the top of your lungs. Jean did your makeup, Ororo did your hair, and Jubilee picked out your outfit. You knew that with this bunch, your outfit was going to be tight and short, so short.

After two hours of getting you ready to perfection, the girls showed yo what you were going to be wearing. It was a Navy blue short sleeve dress with flowers sewn onto it, with a black leather jacket and black wedges. In your opinion, it wasn’t that bad. You grabbed the dress, heading to the bathroom and changing into the outfit picked out for you. When you lifted your head, you could hardly recognize the person in the mirror. You took in a deep breathe, opening the door and stepping out into the bedroom. The girl’s jaws dropped down to the ground when they saw you. Your cheeks flushed a bright pink, your head ducking low.

Only fifteen minutes passed before you and the girls decided to head down to the front doors and greet Leo. Just as the four of you reached the last step, Peter opened the door and on the other side of the thresh hold stood Leo. He wore a black tux, white shirt, and a tie that was wrapped loosely around his neck. His face lit up when he saw you, his eyes sparkling. You smiled back, not being able to help the blush that burned your cheeks. Leo walked in, going straight towards you and giving you a tight hug. You hugged back of course, but it felt different… your heart didn’t speed up and you didn’t get butterflies in your stomach. Somehow, now you began to question whether or not you really wanted to go on this date.

Leo grabbed your hand, tugging it softly. “Ready?” He asked. You turned your head and looked at him, nodding with a small smile. As the two of you walked out and your turned to wave to you friends, you saw Alex watching you from the top o the stair case, his eyes red and puffy. He looked broken.

You took in a deep breathe before closing the mansion door behind you. Leo lead you to what was most likely his car, and opened the passenger door for you. You smiled at him before getting into the car and fastening the seat belt around your body. Leo got into the drivers side, started the car and than began to drive away from the mansion.

“So I was thinking dinner, and then a walk around the park?” He said, almost as a question as he drove. You nodded, looking out the window and watching as everything passed by.

Leo pulled up to a somewhat fancy restaurant only a few minutes later, helping you out of the car before walking into the restaurant. He had already reserved a table and gotten a space in the back near the window. The two of you sat down in silence, then waited for the waiters to come and ask for your orders. You were distracted, very distracted. Your thoughts kept wondering to Alex, the way he looked when you left with Leo, and the day you and him had your first date. Even though it was three years ago, it still felt like it was yesterday.

You could remember smell the burnt food that Alex was trying so desperately to prepare, the mini food fight the two of you had, fighting over which pizza toppings to get because you’re food was ruined, and your first kiss while you two were cuddled up on the couch and talking. Your heart still ached whenever you thought of him.

A cough pulled you from your haze, and dropped you back into reality. The waitress stood by the side of your table impatiently, notepad and pen in her hands. Leo looked at you, like he knew you really didn’t want to be here, but he kept a smile on his face.

“So, Miss, what would you like to order?” The waitress asked. You were so off in your own little world you had completely forgotten about the menu. You coughed, scanning it quickly before ordering. The waitress left, grumbling something under her breathe. Yo sighed, taking a stray piece of hair behind your ear. Leo looked a bit disappointed at the fact that you looked and were acting like you didn’t want to be there with him.

“What were you thinking about?” Leo asked, folding his hands in his lap. You shrugged, head hanging low. “It was about Alex, wasn’t it?” He knew. Oh boy, he knew.

You nodded slowly, sighing heavily as you looked up. “Yeah, I just… I can’t-.” He shook his head, cutting you off.

“You’re not ready to move on, I get it.” He gave a sad smile. “But let’s at least enjoy tonight, right? We both got dressed up and ready, so let’s enjoy our meal and then I’ll take you back to mansion. Deal?” You nodded, happy that he understood.

You and Leo talked while you ate. You acted normal, even though you knew that both of your were hurting. He was upset that you were still in love with your ex, and you were upset that you were still in love with Alex and always would be.

After dinner you still walked around the park, still talking but mostly about your powers. Leo seemed awfully interested in them, but you didn’t mind, it felt nice to have someone actually like who you  were .

“So, can you like fly and stuff?” Leo asked. You laughed shaking your head.

“No, and no.” You held out your hand. “But I can do something else.” Leo took your hand, feeling a spark shoot through his body as he began to levitate  off the ground a bit. He gasped loudly before breaking out into a smile. You walked in a circle, Leo’s body still floating as you did so. He came down slowly, his body feeling all buzzy now. You chuckled. “It’ll take a while for that feeling to  go away.

Leo nodded, sighing softly, “Guess it’s time to take you home now?” He asked, You nodded, mumbling a small ‘yeah’. He followed your wishes, taking you back to the mansion. The drive was  silent, but it was also calm, something that you had never really experience before. When you arrived at the mansion, Leo insisted on walking you to the front doors. You thanked him for the night, apologizing for the way you felt but he simply shrugged it off. With a kiss to your cheek Leo left the mansion, leaving you outside.

You took in a deep breathe, pushing the door open. Of course, no one was out on the main floor, they were probably already in bed. You walked up the steps, your feet leading you to Alex’s room, instead of your own. Before you could even knock on his door, it flew open to reveal a mess that was Alex. His eyes were still puffy and red, but now his hair was a mess as well. You sucked in a breathe, not having seen him like this since he got back from the war.

“Hi.” You breathed out, your eyes not leaving his.

Alex shifted. “Hey.”

“C-can I talk to you? For a minute?” Alex nodded, moving out of the way to let you in. You watched Alex sit on one of his chairs in the room, and slowly you sat on the bed.

In unison you both spoke, “I’m sorry.” Your eyes shifted upwards as did Alex’s. You coughed, letting him speak first.

“I’m sorry about what I said, I didn’t mean it. Words just came tumbling out of my mouth before I even knew what I was saying, and I’m just… I’m sorry.” He held his head in his hands.

“I’m sorry too, for not letting you explain and for blowing up on you like I did.” You sighed, looking down at your folded hands. “I tried to move on, but nobody is you.” Alex’s head lifted a bit, to where you could see his teary eyes. “No one has any of the qualities that you do, and I fell for your qualities and now I can’t thin about living life with someone else if I’m not with you.”

“I can’t take the loneliness anymore.” Alex’s voice cracked, making your heart clench. You hated seeing him in pain, just as much as he hated seeing you in pain. Yo stood up, walking over to him and kneeling in front of him. “I need you, please. I need you in my life, Y/N.” He pleaded, and you nodded, your own tears streaking your face. Thank god for waterproof makeup.

You scanned his face for a minute, before leaning upwards and pressing your lips to his in a very much need kiss. He didn’t hesitate to kiss back, he needed this just as much as you did. The two of you stood up, hands roaming each other’s clothed bodies and tugging at the materials. You were the first one to pull of Alex’s t-shirt, than his sweat pants. After that he pulled off your jacket and dress, leaving you in your panties and bra. You could see his ember harden under his boxer briefs, making you smile and giggle softy. His face instantly lit up at the sound of your laugh.

“God have I missed your laugh.” He said, diving down and catching your lips in his. His hands reached under your ass, tugging you up and forcing you to wrap your legs around his lower back. He carried you over to the bed, laying you down on your back, and not once did he break the kiss. You used each other’s oxygen to keep your kiss going, to keep the moment moving.

Alex took his time in gliding his lips down your neck and then your clothed chest. His hands cupped your chest, squeezing your breasts through the thin material of your bra. You squeaked at his firm grip, forgetting how hard he used to hold your breasts in his palm. His hands slid behind your back, pulling the material down and throwing it to the side. His lips attached to your right nipple, sucking and licking at it softly. A tiny moan escaped your lips, making Alex smiled against our skin. He pulled away from your nipple, a light purple mark began to form on the soft flesh. He did the same thing to your left nipple, leaving purple marks on your skin, letting you know that you were his and only his.

His lips and tongue dragged down your stomach, leaving the same purple bruises, until he reached the top of your panties. His eyes shifted upwards as he pulled off the last of your clothing, leaving you completely exposed to him. Alex’s mouth worked wonders on your pussy, he ate you out like no other, and you became even more excited when you felt his plump lips wrap around your throbbing clit. Your back arched as he began to flick at your clit and wet lips, the feeling all to pure. Your fingers were tangled in his long hair, his hands pushed your hips down and kept you in place. He sucked and pulled at your pussy lips, creating a popping noise whenever he let it go. He ate you out for a few more minutes, just to get you worked up before he pulled his boxers down. His length sprung free, pre-cum dripping from his tip.

Reaching out for his member, Alex stopped you and in one swift movement had you on top of him. “We’re taking this slow, princess.” He said in a soft tone. You nodded, reaching between your bodies and giving him a few pumps before lining him up with your entrance. You gasped as his cock started to spread your walls. Since you two hadn’t had sex in over a month, it took you a few seconds before you were adjusted to his size. You moved up and down his length slowly, taking your time with each thrust of your body. Alex grunted, his hands held onto your hips, guiding your slow movements.

You placed your hands on each side of Alex’s head, using your upper body strength to keep yourself up. Alex swept your hair behind your neck, allowing him to see your face clearly. You gave a small smile, that faded quickly as you let out a soft moan. Alex was extremely long, and when you were on top like this it meant that he could easily reach the unknown parts of your body. His tip hit your g-spot each time you lowered yourself onto him, making your body jolt and twitch slightly. Alex loved seeing the expressions you made when he hit that certain spot.

Not being able to hold yourself up and longer, you collapsed onto Alex’s chest, your movement’s slowing. “Alex..” You whispered, slightly moaning.

“Shh… I got you.” He said softly. His hips thrusted upwards into your pussy slowly, chasing on your orgasm. Your arms wrapped around his neck, your lips slightly parted as you let out hot breathy moans onto his neck. “ Fuck… I forgot how much I loved your tight pussy.” He grunted, hands holding you tightly against him. You moaned at his dirty talk and his sudden harsh thrust into your aching core.

Slow sex was great, but also agonizing painful. He chased on your orgasm, changing pace each time he knew that you were about to come undone. He didn’t do that this time, when he knew that the both of you were getting to your peak he just let you come around him, shaking and breathing heavily. He came inside you with a grunt, fingernails digging into your sore flesh. The both of you were breathing heavily, chests rising and falling as you tried to regain your breath.

Alex pulled out, mumbling a soft ‘sorry’ when he felt you wince at the loss. He kissed the side of your head as he helped you lay on your side. You gave him a tired  smile, wrapping your hand in his. He smiled back down at you, his free hand pulling the covers over your bodies to keep you warm.

“I love you, Alex, I never want to lose you again.” You mumbled against his chest. Alex nodded.

“Me too, Angel, me too. Now get some sleep, okay?” He whispered. Your eyes fluttered shut, and you slept the rest of the night, happy and complete once again.

Hi! This blog is wonderful, especially for wide-eyed xmfc newbies stumbling around. (Like me!) So I'm wondering, do you know any fics involving bookshops/coffeeshops/tea parlours? Thank you!

Coffee shop AUs

Sorry it’s taken me so long dear! But there is a gold mine of coffee shop/book shop AUs out there

Summary: Librarian AU. Charles is the young librarian and Erik is the college student who is completely besotted with him.

Warnings/Rating/Word count: Teen, 11,292 words

My Opinion: It’s adorable and I love every character. Even Shaw. If you want a badass Erik with piercings and a sweet, innocent Charles, well then. Enjoy!

Summary: Erik runs a kosher bakery. Charles comes in for baked goods. They play chess, eat meringues, people drop other people’s keys down the toilet, and there’s mutant performance art.

Warnings/Rating/Word count: modern setting, wheelchair, PG, 17,615 words.

My Opinion: It’s cute. I don’t know what it is about baker Erik that pulls me in so much. Huh. Something to think on. He plays with dough guys.

Summary: The best part about Charles’ favorite bakery isn’t the location, and it isn’t the lovely smell, or even the Earl Grey cupcakes. It’s the Baker.

Erik Lehnsherr is a beautiful specimen of a man, particularly when his fussing over Charles takes the form of pastry.

Such a pity Charles doesn’t know Erik is an assassin.

Warnings/Rating/Word count: bakery, modern, Charles rules the world, 11,070 words, PG.

My Opinion: Raven gets angsty in this one, so it does stick true. I like the characterisations and Erik in general being protective. It’s lovely..

Summary: Fill for this prompt: Charles meets Erik Lehnsherr, his favorite novelist of all time at a coffee shop, but doesn’t know it’s him, and Erik just criticizes his own writing in front of his biggest fan.

Warnings/Rating/Word count: clueless Charles, AU, non-powered, NC-17, 39,242 words.

My Opinion: It’s a coffee shop AU with hella high recommendations, I’ve just not gotten round to reading it yet though I trust that it is good.

Summary: An X-Men First Class AU in which Erik owns a restaurant.

Warnings/Rating/Word count: NC-17, 14,531 words

My Opinion: It was cute if memory serves right (it’s been a while since I read it) but it has a happy ending which is what matters.

Summary: Azazel clearly has yet to understand the shattering power of Charles’ disappointment, so Erik takes one for the team, grabbing the cup and downing the remnants of the cappuccino like a shot while Azazel watches with morbid fascination.

Warnings/Rating/Word count: coffee shop AU, modern setting, no powers, PG, 4924 words

My Opinion: Classic coffee shop AU, adorable as hell too :D

Summary: Charles owns a coffee shop, Erik is a corporate lawyer (and owns some really nice suits). Things get a bit hazy from there.

Warnings/Rating/Word count: Hesits, mentions of killings, PG, 23,710 words.

My Opinion: It’s sweet and I like how Charles doesn’t take shit.

Summary: Charles has a terrible habit of multitasking, and that is probably why he absentmindedly tells the pizza man that he loves him when hanging up.

Then the pizza man says it back. And Charles is pretty much smitten from there.

Warnings/Rating/Word count: phone calls, PG, 4349 words.

My Opinion: It’s cutesy and adorable and Sean is fabulous. Not quite what you asked for but too adorable not to not read

Summary: This is the story of how her Charles met my Erik; it’s a modern-day AU, with powers; Charles is the owner of a restaurant called the Chessboard and the leader of its all-mutant staff, while Erik is an engineer working at Frost Industries.

Warnings/Rating/Word count: modern, first time, NC-17, 16,031 words.

My Opinion: The children are perfect. I mean. GAH. And the cute. Oh my. Restaurant AU, similar ish to what you wanted.

Summary: Charles is the owner of a book store, his best friend that he’s known since high school is a cop who’s recently been promoted, and, oh yeah, he’s madly in love with him.

Warnings/Rating/Word count: modern setting, misunderstandings, NC-17, 12,399 words.

My Opinion: It’s been a while since I read it but I remember it being sweet and perhaps slightly awkward but not sure about that (:

You hadn’t seen, heard from, or talked to Alex in a week. After that day when you two -well you- ended things, you both seemed to shut down. You didn’t go to any of your classes, you didn’t go to any of your training sessions, you barley ate, and you couldn’t sleep. Alex was going through some of the same things. He wouldn’t go to his training sessions, he’s being a jerk more than usual, he couldn’t sleep, he couldn’t eat, he drank all the time. You missed him, god did you miss him, but you weren’t going to go back to him after what he had said to you.

At the moment your head was tucked in between your knees and silent sobs escaped your dry mouth. Tears stained your cheeks, your bed spread, and your clothes. This hurt a lot more than any of your other break ups did, and maybe it’s because you had seemed to have such a deep connection with Alex, and now that you’re apart it just hurt not to be near one another. Old memories and conversations ran through your mind, even little flashbacks would appear behind your eyes when you closed them. When Jean was around that’s all she could hear, she could just hear your thoughts and your conversations in your head, and they were so sad that even she stopped hanging around you. Your best friend didn’t even want to be near you.

Sniffling you wiped your eyes and got up, brushing out your hair and throwing it into a messy bun. You trudged down stairs, keeping your head down so that no one would see how pathetic you looked. You walked into the kitchen, grabbing a water bottle and then going back up to your room.

“Y/N?” Your eyebrows furrowed, trying to recognize the voice that said your name. Slowly turning around you were shocked to see Leo, the boy from the ice-cream shop. Shit. You thought to yourself as you plastered on a fake smile. Leo jogged over to you, a smile on his rosy cheeks . His eyebrows furrowed as he looked over your features. No doubt your eyes were red and glossy, your cheeks were stained and dirty, you looked like absolute hell.

“What’s wrong? You look like you’ve been crying?” You nod slowly, taking in a shaky breathe to try and keep yourself calm.

“Yeah, um..that day that I was at the mall with my friends? My boyfriend I broke up because the relationship wasn’t making him happy, and this week has just been hard for me.” You sighed, blinking back your tears. Quickly changing the subject you asked him a question, “Why are you here? You’re not a mutant…are you?” Leo chuckled and shook his head.

“No, my kid sister is though and today is my day off so I thought I’d come by and say hi to her, see how she’s been doing.” You nodded. “You might know her? Her names Carrie?” Your face lit up.

“Oh her? God she’s such a cutie, much like her brother.” You mentally face palmed, your cheeks blushing red. Did I just say that? I did didn’t I? You thought to yourself. Leo smiled.

“You think I’m cute?” You blushed again and looked down sheepishly. Leo chuckled. “Don’t worry, love, I think you’re cute too.” You looked up with a small smile, but face a bright red by now. He coughed awkwardly and  scratched the back of his head. “Would you mind helping me find my sister? I have no clue where I’m supposed to go and I’m pretty sure I’d get lost if I went wondering around here by myself.” You giggled and nodded.

“Of course, she might be outside so we’ll go out there first.” Leo nodded and you started your way out to the back. When you got there you started to walk around and search the ground for her. A little while later you spotted her, pointing her out to Leo. A grin stretched across his face as he watched his little sister play with her friends.

“Hey, Care Bear!” Leo shouted. Carrie turned around, her eyes landing on her brother. She squealed and sprinted over to the two of you, heading straight to her brother. She jumped up into his arms, smiling and wrapping him in a tight hug. You smiled, wishing you had a sibling bond like they did, or a sibling in general. Leo put Carrie down and she turned her head looking over at you and hugging you as well.

“What are you doing here, Leo?” Carrie asked once she pulled away from you.

“Well I came here to see you of course, I missed my little sis.” He smiled ruffling her hair. She groaned and swatted his hand away. “So how have you been? Any progress with your powers yet?” He asked, sitting on the ground. You went to walk away, not wanting to intrude on their time together but Leo grabbed your hand, pulling you down and sitting you right next to him. Carrie giggled.

“It’s good! I can grow just about anything now! And the Professor even had me fix his favorite tree because someone blew it up!” She said excitedly. Leo looked over at you, raising an eyebrow. You chuckled.

“It was my friend Scott, he basically has laser eyes and he hit the tree that the Professor’s grandfather planted.”  You explained. Leo nodded, chuckling. The siblings talked for a while until you heard the oh so familiar voices of your friends. You looked over your left shoulder to see them walking over to you.

Peter whizzed his way over to you, hugging you tightly and shaking you. “She’s alive! She came out of the cave!” He teased you. You shocked his arm, causing him to let go of you and hold his arm. “Ow! No need to electrocute me, missy.” He frowned. You chuckled, shaking your head.

“Hey, Y/N it’s nice to see that you came out of the- is that the boy from the ice-cream shop?” Jubilee grinned, looking at the Leo and then you quickly. You shook your head, smiling.

“Yes it is, this is Leo, his little sister is Carrie.” You motioned between the two. Carrie got up quickly and rushed over to Kurt, jumping up and hugging him. Kurt smiled sheepishly and hugged back. I looked over at Leo who was still smiling.

“She thinks Kurt’s a cat.” I whispered to him. He chuckled and nodded. The group sat down and introduced themselves to Leo and told them how talented and cute his little sister was.

“So, you two dating yet or what?” Peter said, eating a twinkie. Where the hell did that even come from? You nearly choked on air at Peter’s words, and shook your head, waving your hand in the air.

“No, no, I’m still trying to get over Alex remember?” Peter rolled his eyes and you glared at him. You looked over at Jean who was staring at one of the windows. “Jean? What are you staring at?” You question, looking up to see who or what caught her attention. When you looked up your eyes locked with Alex’s, his were full of sadness, pain, emotion. You quickly tore your eyes away and looked down, your chest rising and falling heavily.

“He’s pissed, Y/N.” Jean says in your head. You look down, shaking your head. You take in a few breathes and then look up, blinking quickly in case any tears had formed in your eyes. You stood up, brushing grass off of your body.

“I- we should probably getting going, don’t want to intrude on you and your sister catching up.” You say, voice squeaking a bit. Leo frowns a bit but nods. You quickly scurry off, your friends close behind you. You finally stop in the front corridor of the mansion, your lungs constricting, not letting in any air. You leaned against the sofa, wheezing for air.

“Hey, Y/N why’d -oh my god, are you okay?” Scott asked you worriedly as your group of friends huddled around you. You shook your head, rubbing your chest.

“Can’t.” Wheeze. “Breathe.” Wheeze. Scott looked over at his girlfriend, and she ran up the stairs, going to your room and looking for your inhaler. It probably took her a minute or so to find it, but within that minute the lack of oxygen had started to get to you. Jean ran back down, pushing the end of the inhaler into your mouth and pumping the air into your lungs. You held in the air for a minute and then exhaled, your vision straightening out and your grip on the couch loosening.

“What the hell was that? Did you just have a panic or asthma attack?” Asked Jean. You shrugged, shaking your head.

“I-I don’t know, I saw Alex in the window and I just-” You whimpered, wrapping your arms around your stomach. Jean frowned, enveloping you in a hug. You sobbed into her shoulder, your body shaking violently with every exhale you took. The group backed away, only Jean and Scott stayed with you. You sniffled into her hair. “It hurts so damn much, Jean.” You mumble, pulling away from her. She rubs your shoulders softly, trying to give a reassuring smile.

“I know, I know, but you’ll be okay. You have me, Scott, the others, and hell Leo is like so over his head with you, he couldn’t stop looking at you!” You giggle softly, sniffling a bit. “You’ll be okay, just give it time. I know you still love him, you just gotta find someone that loves you the same way.” You nodded slowly, giving her weak smile. “Come on, lets get you to bed, you haven’t slept in a week.” You nodded as Scott and Jean escorted you to your room. Unfortunately you had to pass Alex’s room in order to get to yours.

Alex must have sensed you or something because as soon as the three of you walked past his door, it opened and a sad, hung over Alex stood in the doorway.

“Y/N!” He shouted your name. Jean pulled you closer to her side and Scott turned around, glaring at his brother through his ruby glasses. You could hear him slam the door, which made you jump. When you got to your room Jean basically tucked you in like you were a child. She fluffed your pillow before laying her hand on your forehead, and before you knew it you were out cold and the thoughts of Alex had completely vanished.

“What did you just do?” Scott whispered to Jean. She sighed, crossing her arms over her chest as she looked at your sleeping frame.

“I cleared her thoughts, it should help her sleep. I feel so bad for her, she loves Alex and the entire time it seemed like he loved her, but I guess now.” She shook her head, frowning. “Your brother is an ass, no offense.” Scott shrugged, shoving his hands into his pockets.

“Nah, it’s fine, after what he said to her? He is an ass.” The two walked out, leaving you alone and sleeping peacefully in your bed. Or at least you thought you were sleeping peacefully.

Dreams of other girls touching, kissing, hugging Alex invaded your sleeping mind. You couldn’t even sleep without crying. Alex didn’t love you, he never did, and that’s what hurt the most. You gave him your innocence, your heart, your mind, you gave him everything. And he just fucking acted like he cared about you. Electric shocks bounced off your body, you shook as you slept, unable to open your eyes. You were trapped in your own little hell.

The door to your room opened and out of all the people in the mansion it just had to be Alex who walked into your room. He frowned when he saw you shaking and crying, knowing that he was the cause of your pain. He walked over to your bed, pulling out your desk chair and sitting in it beside you. He ran a hand through his tangled hair, sighing and looking down at his hands. God he was so stupid. He let you go, the only person he would open up to, the only person that wasn’t actually afraid of him. He let you go and he felt so stupid. He loved you, he really did, and those words he said to you over a week ago, he didn’t mean them.

“I’m so sorry, Y/N. I never meant what I said to you. I love you, you do make me happy, and I was so damn stupid to let you go.” He mumbled. Your back was faced to him so he couldn’t tell that you were awake.

“Sorry doesn’t fix everything.” You mumbled, not quite sure if he’d be able to hear you or not. To your surprise he did hear you. His eyes went wide, and you turned around, sitting up in the process. You rubbed you eyes, salt tears washing up on your knuckles. You look down at you lap, fully aware of Alex still sitting in your room and staring at you.  “Don’t look at me like that.”  You snapped, finally turning your head and looking at Alex.

“L-like what?” He stuttered. You rolled your eyes, your e/c landing back on Alex.

“Like we’re still together, you’re staring at me the way you used to when we were dating. God you made it so damn believable. I actually believed you loved me.” You scoffed, shaking your head. “I’m so stupid for thinking you did.” You muttered. Alex shook his head and reached out for your hand but you moved away from him.

“Y/N,” He sighed. “I’m the stupid one, I’m the one who let you walk out the god damn door. I’m the one who’s making you cry. I’m the one who fucked up, not you so don’t you dare say you’re stupid because you’re not. You are so damn smart, sometimes I can’t even understand you because you’re so smart and you make me full dumb whenever you start going on about something you had learned in class.” He smiled a little as he looked down at his palms, as if he was remembering something.

“Get out.” You say flatly. Alex’s head  snaps upward, his eyes glossy as tears brimmed his waterline.

“What?” He whispered.

“I said get out, if you don’t I’ll make you and you sure as hell don’t want to see how I’m going to do that.” You growled. Alex’s body didn’t move, it’s like his brain wouldn’t allow his limbs to move. Your eyes sparked, a warning signal for him to get the hell out of your room. When he thought he could finally move he made his way to the door, looking back at you before closing it behind him. You let out a shaky breathe, one you didn’t even realize you were holding in.

The rest of the day was spent trying to sleep and everyone slowly coming to your room to give your piles of homework and give you some food. Maybe it was because of the breakup or you were just so depressed, but you couldn’t eat, the thought of eating made you gag.

Around 5:00 - 5:30-ish someone knocked on your door. You wipe your eyes and cough a little before saying, “Come in!” The door creaked open and you were shocked to see Leo standing at the thresh hold of your door. He walked in, leaning against the wall and giving you a small smile.

“Your friend Jean told me you’re room number, thought I’d just come and check up on you before I headed home.” You smiled weakly.

“Thanks Leo, that actually means a lot to me.” He nods.

“So I see that you’re still crying over the idiot who dumped you?” He asked. You chuckled and nodded slightly.

“I actually broke up with him, but there’s no need to tear open the already opened wound, right?” You chuckled to cover up your heart ache. Leo shrugged.

“Yeah, I guess so.” It was silent, and then Leo spoke again. “Well if you ever want to come talk to me or something, you know where I work.” Leo winked, making you blush. “I’ll see you around, Y/N.” He said as he opened the door.

“Yeah, see you around.” You said. He walked out, and with that you were left once again with your aching heart and your sad thoughts.

Fandom: X-Men: First Class

Ship: Charles/Erik

Title: The stars incline us, they do not bind us

Author: ikeracity, Pangea

Summary: Intergalactic Federation pilot Lieutenant Charles Xavier is assigned last-minute to a high profile mission: transporting over two thousand prison inmates from an old and overfilled prison complex to a newer, higher-capacity prison stronghold located on the outer reaches of the galaxy. Just as he’s settling down for a long and uneventful ride, things take a turn for the worse after the inmates riot and stage a hostile takeover of the ship, leaving Charles to find himself at the complete mercy of cold-blooded killers and facing the chilling prospect that he might not ever make it back home alive.

My Thoughts: Ok.  Uhm.  Basically, this is 160,000 words of Charles (and some Erik) whump.  It is hard. hitting.  I cringed at some of it - but in a good way, because the writing is phenomenal and just about murders me.  So yeah.  Heed the warnings.

Canon: X-Men: First Class/The Avengers
Pairing: Erik Lehnsherr/Charles Xavier
Rating: Teen [PG]
Word Count: 5,513
Summary: After the second surgery in New York, Charles doesn’t anticipate anyone keeping vigil by his bedside — and certainly not Tony Stark.

Rec: I love how despite everything, Erik’s first instinct is that something is wrong and he comes rushing to Charles’ rescue even though Charles doesn’t need to be rescued. Oh and climbing through the window like a clandestine lover, priceless. {Podfic available}

Well hello there! Mpreg happens to be my speciality! :)

Canon mpregs, you say? Most of these will take place as XMFC fix-its, fair warning, and well undoubtedly the most well known is this one:

Summary: “I wasn’t hiding it from you. Honestly, I didn’t know for certain until yesterday, which I think we can agree was bad timing and not the sort of thing one springs before the heat of battle,” Charles says earnestly.

Warnings/Rating/Word count: mpreg, NC-17, 9,659 words.

My Opinion: This is the highest ranked (completed) m-preg for Cherik on Ao3 with a damn good reason. If you haven’t read it now, you need to.

Summary: Erik and Charles were only together once before doubt and fear ground their romance to a halt. But once was apparently all it took. Now Charles is dealing with a pretty crappy secondary mutation, a brand new career teaching mini-mutants and a stubbornly overprotective Erik. This is the story of how Charles and Erik got from Point A to Point B and what they collected along the way.

Warnings/Rating/Word count: m-preg, NC-17, 17,351 words.

My Opinion: It’s slow build and hurts at times but the ending is gorgeous. I recommend a read, I really do.

Summary: X men first class folowing the events of the film - beach divorce scene occurs.
Charles is being overly hormonal, his powers are going haywire, and Erik is the father…

Warnings/Rating/Word count: m-preg, NC-17, 66,019 words.

My Opinion: Fair warning, it’s fairly poorly written but it does get better on later in it. The relationship between Charles and Erik makes me immensely happy and if you can struggle through the poor grammar, there is a good story.

Summary: Total crack. How the ‘divorce’ could have been averted if Azazel and being pregnant worked in your favor. Also Charles is really pissed at Erik’s penis.

Warnings/Rating/Word count: mpreg, NC-17, 5,199 words.

My Opinion: I cackled through this one. I love it. It’s brill. Go. Read. Enjoy.

Summary: Realistically, Charles knew it was the least advantageous moment to suddenly remember his impending fatherhood. The Americans and Russians were moments away from inciting a new world war, and likewise, Erik himself seemed a split second from turning humanity against mutants forever. But the words were there without his permission, spilling from his lips in a desperate attempt to save Erik from his own madness, and Charles from the inevitable grief that would follow. So he said it. He shouted it. In one felled swoop he told Erik about the life growing inside of him. It was ridiculous and unbelievable and frightening, and Charles had done his best to ignore it up until that moment. But then, with the missiles moments away from destroying so many human lives, Charles recognized the life inside him for what it was. Grasping at straws he told Erik they’d created a child. There was a baby to consider now, equal parts theirs. Pretending the baby was anything but, was no longer an option.

Warnings/Rating/Word count: angst, abandonment, mpreg, Mature, 89,605 words.

My Opinion: Personally, this is a tad too bittersweet for me, but if that’s your cup of tea, you’ll thoroughly enjoy this one.  It took me two read throughs to notice the happy ending in there.

Summary: Charles said the only thing he could think of to make Erik stop from killing the humans. He didn’t even think it work but somehow it did. Now things are a lot different then they were suppose to go, but at least he has Erik by his side.

Warnings/Rating/Word count: mpreg, NC-17, 10,714 words.

My Opinion: Funny at times, thoroughly enjoyed it, nice ending. It will make you smile. Problem being the writing style/grammar isn’t that great but by no means is it unreadable!

Summary: Erik didn’t only leave Charles on the beach.

Warnings/Rating/Word count: hurt/comfort, heartache, m-preg, Teen Audiences, 15,183 words.

My Opinion: I really like the unexpected plot twist in this one, I won’t spoil it but it’s emotionally invested for something so short and the author has written a few mpregs, this is one of my favourites of them.

Summary: Charles and the boys were holding onto a secret more dear to them than their own lives when Charles disappears into the night; Erik is betrayed and finds himself returning to Westchester in the hopes that the government was just trying to trick him. All the while the boys are stuck in the middle, left guarding the secret from the man they are most afraid of finding out who is weaselling his way back into their lives alarmingly easily.

Warnings/Rating/Word count: m-preg, imprisonment, torture, kidnapping, NC-17, 111,355 words.

My Opinion: It’s really not as dark as the tags make it sound, and with the length it’s well spread out. You find yourself yelling for Erik to hurry up and find out but the emotional build up is strong and the relationships between minor characters made me smile. A good read, albeit a long one.

Summary: In the wake of Cuba, Charles and his students are ready to pick up the pieces and work toward achieving Charles’s dream of a safe haven for young mutants. Those plans, however, take a surprising turn thanks to a very unexpected complication. As he slowly builds a future for his students and for his child, Charles struggles with the loss of Erik and the secrets he’s willing to keep to protect his family, but those strides are shattered when Erik makes a startling reappearance into his life. [mpreg, kidfic, ensemble]

Warnings/Rating/Word count: m-preg, Teen Audiences, 67,420 words

My Opinion: It gets a touch angsty at times but it really is a lovely story. I’m rather keen on m-pregs though so I am biased. I loved it so much.

The doors to the elevators opened and you stepped into the lobby, you weren’t sure what you were going to do, you hadn’t thought it out, take the limo home let him find a ride home, call a cab, call Jess? You yanked your trench coat over your shoulders, when a hand gripped your arm. You spun around to meet Dean’s breathless face.

“Y/N, that wasn’t what it looked like.” He panted, you were taken aback by the fact that he’d gotten down to the lobby so fast, and since you were unaware of another elevator you had to assume he used the stairs. His stamina aside you pulled yourself free of him.

“Oh really? Because what it looked like was you parading me around to make Little Miss Better-Than-You jealous.” You hissed, biting back the tears that threatened your eyes. “I am so stupid, to think that you’d want anything to do with someone like me when you could have someone like that. Well thank you for the humiliating evening.” You bit, as you pulled the earrings he had delivered to you the day before, and handing them to him.

I Don't Have To Read Your Mind

Charles, Erik

Summary: They haven’t known each other for that long, but Charles is intrigued by Erik and wants him to relax, maybe even laugh. It turns out it’s not that hard to make the man laugh.

A/N: My first ever X-Men fic. I only started the movies last week, so my characterization is probably way off, but initial attempts is always the key to improvement. This fic is set during the First Class movie, when they’re training at the mansion (or whatever it’s called). This is purely based on that movie since I have neither seen any cartoons nor read the comics. I hope you enjoy!

Words: 1 254

Charles hadn’t known Erik for too long, but he figured he would’ve heard the man laugh by now. He tried to stay out of his friend’s mind; feeling like him prying on his darkest secrets for no reason wouldn’t help them move forward at all, and frankly would be pretty rude. Erik intrigued him. Having read his mind those few times left him wanting more, but somehow he wanted the older male to tell him. But most importantly Charles ached to know how Erik acted when he was completely relaxed and carefree. Something told him he hadn’t felt completely at ease – without Charles’ helpful talents – in years. All he wanted was for his friend to smile a real smile.

Coffee. Kale Smoothie. Paperwork. Breath outside of the door. You’d fallen into a ritual or sorts, anything even slightly askew and your entire day was thrown out of whack. Charlie, one of the girls from IT had dropped off a packet without telling you about it, or emailing you, no memo nothing, just plopped it on your desk and skipped on her merry way and it threw you for a major loop. You had to make time to go over it, and schedule time to go over it with Dean, and then you had to ensure it was done by a deadline, the next day, and it was just a chaotic mess. A place for everything and everything in its place. You enjoyed having a plan.

Yet there you were dumping far too much creamer into your coffee, the blender turning the smoothie into juice, as you starred off lost in your own little world.

“Excuse me, what do you think you’re doing?” She accused, you cocked a brow confused. “You had better put those stripper pumps back on by the time we get to class, because not only will I be upset with you but I think Professor Wesson will be too.” She answered with a cocky smile, you rolled your eyes, dropping the flats and grabbing your heels instead.

“Jess I don’t know if I should. I mean I already-with Dean-and if-“

“Uh, Y/N, you’re not committing to either of them. It’s just a little fun, and since you’ve already surpassed the line with your Boss, it’s not like you’re going to really hack through a boundary with your Professor… Besides, it’s not like anything is actually going to happen, and you know better than to catch feelings. At least have a little fun, so you can tell me all about it and leave me wishing I were you.” She begged. You shifted, weighing your options. Jess pouted and you scrunched your brow.
