Ever wanted to see the X-Men and Spider-Man together on the big screen? Well you’ll soon be able to – sort of.

A scene promoting Fox’s “X-Men: Days of Future Past” will appear during the end credits of Sony’s “The Amazing Spider-Man 2.”

The end-credits sting features Jennifer Lawrence reprising the role of Mystique, opposite her “X-Men: First Class” co-star Lucas Still and “X-Men” newcomers Evan Jonigkeit and Josh Helman. Mystique engages a group of military men and gets to show off her trademark fighting skills.

First and foremost, I’m a massive X-Men fan and no matter what rubbish they throw out on screen, I’ll pay to watch it. I never learn my lesson.

Singer basically fixed all the fuck ups of X3 and the Wolverine films in one fell swoop. Yet because of that it did feel a little disjointed, purely because there was so much to correct and so many mutants on screen.

Sometimes it struggled due to the huuuge cast, some characters only getting 15 mins of screen time and a handful of lines due to over crowding but it was awesome just to see their faces again.

Fassbender is amazing as Magneto and I really liked the way they went with him for this film, I also adored how they utilised and filmed Quicksilver and that very brief reference to his heritage.

I loved the cameos (so damn good but I can’t spoil them here), Blink (because she was uber hot), the ending credit sequence, the death scenes, Iceman as pure ice, the dialogue and the direction.  That Quicksilver scene was genius.

Aspects I didn’t like was how they killed off characters not returning from First Class off screen, that wasn’t cool.  Also how the fact fans have been waiting 15 years to see Wolverine and his adamantium claws tear through some Sentinals but it never happened.

It will be intriguing to see which cast they use for X-Men: Apocalypse.  Do they go back the 70’s or use the current day cast?  McKellan is awesome but he’s looking damn old, I want to keep Fassbender and McAvoy but have Iceman, Shadowcat, Rogue and all the others too.

They may have fixed many things but it poses a lot of questions as to what the plan is going forward.

Days of Future Past is a lot of fun, which I really did enjoy but I definitely think it’s one for the fans, the casual viewer may struggle here.
