They welcomed their first child in March. And whilst Cheryl, 33, and Liam Payne, 23, have kept their private life quiet following the birth of their son- sharing just one snap, fans are convinced they have figured out the little fellow’s name.
Eager followers have discovered a new listing of a ‘Taylor Payne’, on Famousbirthdays.com.
The entry lists a birthday of March 22nd 2017, the same date as that of the couple’s son. Claiming the child is the 'Son of singers Liam Payne from One Direction and Cheryl from Girls Aloud’, it names the birth place as Chelsea and Westminster hospital.
But despite the site’s conviction, the notoriously private couple are unlikely to have released this information. Taking to Twitter one fan excitedly wrote: 'The child was named Taylor’, while another added: ’ Even if the baby’s name is Taylor wait until she or Liam announce it!’.
MailOnline has contacted the couple’s representatives for comment.
The discovery comes after the couple previously mentioned Taylor as one of their favourite baby names. Speaking about her desire to become a mother in 2012, Cheryl admitted that she loved the moniker and had already picked it out for if she ever had a son.
Speaking two years after her split from first husband Ashley Cole in 2012, Cheryl told GQ magazine: 'I love kids, I’m obsessed with babies. I know that’s what I was put on the earth to do – to be a mother.”
Cheryl added at the time that she already had a name picked out for a baby boy, telling the magazine: 'Of course I’ve thought about baby names a million times. I like Alfie for a little boy.’
Liam also revealed he’d picked out baby names, telling Hits Radio during his One Direction days: 'I like the name Taylor. Taylor’s pretty neutral for a boy or a girl. That’s what I’m going to call my first child if I had children.’
Liam even went on to hint that he might be ready to have multiple children as he quipped that being with his bandmates 24/7 had given him plenty of practice in playing dad, joking: 'It’s like having four of them!'Cheryl walks alongside Liam and shows off bump before birth of son.
The interviews resurfaced following the pair’s happy announcement in March, when they shared the first picture of their little one. Cheryl welcomed her first child London’s Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, with her partner, One Direction singer Liam Payne, at her side.
She announced the news on Instagram as she shared a picture of Liam cradling their little one, captioned: 'On Wednesday 22nd March Liam and I became parents to an incredibly beautiful, healthy baby boy, weighing 7lb 9 and looking like a dream. Although he still doesn’t have a name he is already stealing hearts. We are all madly in love and overwhelmingly happy with our little arrival. Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers around the world. A day that now has a different meaning to me forever.’
Liam shared the same picture as he wrote: 'My close friends and family know there are very few times when I’m left speechless…wow! I’m incredibly happy to welcome our new baby boy into the world, it’s a moment that I will never forget for the rest of my life and my favourite memory I have so far. I’m completely in awe of his incredible mother and how she has been the whole way through this, she’s really made my dreams come true. We haven’t named him yet but he’s already capturing hearts including mine. I feel very blessed. Happy Mother’s Day everyone!'
Cheryl kept fans guessing for months before confirming her pregnancy in the most public way – at a L'Oreal photoshoot, in which she posed in a close-fitting black dress and cradled her bump. Friends said at the time that she had kept the pregnancy a secret because she didn’t want to 'jinx her happiness’ after years of bad luck in relationships.
The singer was married to England footballer Ashley Cole from July 2006 to September 2010. She married Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini in July 2014, and the pair divorced in October 2016.
Cheryl became a household name when she joined girl band Girls Aloud, who were put together by talent show, Popstars: The Rivals in 2002.
Liam first laid eyes on Cheryl in 2008 when he auditioned for the X Factor but failed to make it through to the live shows. Two years later at the age of 16, he appeared on the series again and joined forces with fellow solo singers to create One Direction, but it wasn’t until February 2016 that they decided to embark on a romance.
During Liam’s time on the show, Cheryl was married to her now ex-husband Ashley Cole. She went on to remarry with Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini in 2014, and announced their separation earlier this year.
Ed listens — and is inspired — as the relationship between one of his best friends and his best friend develops and changes into something wonderful.
Note: I can pretty much guarantee that this is not at all what was expected. I had this idea in my head of it being told from Ed’s perspective but the vision in my head was soo much better. Anyway, there IS another part I’m working on, and it will actually be the way I usually write so bear with me?
The first time Ed notices the shift in Harry’s behaviour around Niall is when both lads are at his house for dinner one evening.
The whole of One Direction are here, laughing and having pints while they wait for the ribs on the BBQ. They’re all loud and rambunctious, talking over each other the way they always do in interviews and every now and then Ed sort of regrets inviting them all over at the same time. It’s not that he doesn’t like hanging out with all of them — it’s just that they’re easier to handle in small quantities.
Louis’ the worst. He’s the one who starts everything, the one who encourages everyone else — the one who could talk anyone into anything without even batting an eyelash. Zayn’s not far behind Louis. He’s quiet on the outside, a bit shy and reserved — but Louis unleashes the little terror in him every time. Liam, from what he’s heard anyway, was the only sensible, the “daddy”, the one who sat back with the imaginary first-aid kit and watched while everyone else risked their lives — but Ed’s never seen that side of him because, quite frankly, he’s almost as bad as Louis now that he’s “let loose a bit.”
Harry and Niall are a bit different. They tag along, of course, stir up trouble just like the others but Harry’s a bit too clumsy and awkward to take seriously and Niall, well, he’s a bit too soft-around-the edges to be labelled much of a menace.
The entire day feels like babysitting a bunch of children — it doesn’t help that those children manage to turn the rest of Ed’s older, maturer friends into actual children as well — and Ed sort of regrets it, except he doesn’t.
He doesn’t even know when he notices Harry — or, rather, Harry with Niall — he just sort of…does. And, after that, it’s like he can’t stop noticing.
I was thinking too much about the emotions at Wembley and Zayn not being there but sort of being there in spirit, and well, this happened:
Louis doesn’t mean to call him.
Really, he doesn’t. He means to call his agent, or his manager, or maybe in a pinch Liam, because that’s who you call when things go to shit, and, well. He’s pretty sure this is the definition of things going to shit. At least it’s after it’s all over, he thinks, and laughs, because he has to laugh or the alcohol will catch up to him and he’ll start crying. It’ll be a great headline tomorrow: Louis Tomlinson, arrested and crying! They’re probably be pictures and they’ll talk about how it’s because Harry broke up with him and he’ll look like shit.
And maybe he’s too busy thinking about things like that, because his fingers are dialing before he even gets a chance to stop the muscle memory. He almost throws the phone away as soon as he notices, as it starts to ring, but there’s a big guy sitting on the other side of the holding cell eying him in a way Louis doesn’t like, and a couple more huddled together talking about something Louis really hopes isn’t him, and for once in his life he doesn’t want to draw attention to himself. If he’s lucky, no one will ever know this happened. No one will ever know how fucking stupid he is. Zayn’s probably won’t even pick up his phone, and then Louis gets another call, he’s pretty sure. That’s how it works in films.
Yeah, it’s fine, Louis decides, as the phone rings. Zayn won’t pick up, and then Louis can call Liam, because it’s not like Zayn would do anything for him anyway. Louis doesn’t need Zayn to do shit for him. He’s just letting it ring for pride’s sake, because he’s not going to be the one to back down. He can’t be.
Six rings. There can’t be more than that, can there? Louis doesn’t remember. He knew once. Knew exactly how many rings because the difference was the difference between Zayn forgetting to answer his phone and Zayn ignoring it because he’s busy. It’ll go to voicemail soon, and Louis will be able to call Liam and get out of here before anyone notices he was fucking arrested, and he’s still not happy about that either. Liam’ll be a drag about it, but it’s in his interest to keep it quiet too, so it’ll be fine.
How I became a Larry shipper before even being a Directioner
I’ve only discovered One Direction in 2015. I’ve read some headlines about 1D before, but I’m 33 - so I always thought…. “Ok, another boy band, skip this article”. What really made me curious to find out more about the boys is the fact that, on Twitter, there’s almost every day a hashtag about them trending worldwide.
One day, I decided to search info about 1D. I started with the Wikipedia article. I saw that 1D was formed during X Factor, so I thought the best way to get to know them is by watching the videos showing the 1D history during X Factor: the auditions, the live shows and the video diaries.
Needless to say that I fell in love with Harry the first moment I heard him singing “Isn’t she lovely”. <3 But there was something else that totally intrigued me and kept me watching all the video diaries: the relationship that seemed to exist between Harry and Louis.
Verbal but also non-verbal communication is one of my biggest passions and also a huge part of my job. Reading between the lines, analysing the tone of a voice / body language / micro expressions and so on is part of what I do for a living, so I hope I’m right (otherwise, it would be bad for me :D ) when I say that Larry Stylinson is real.
At that time, I wasn’t even paying attention to their gestures, because I wasn’t searching for any “proofs” or stuff like that. Nevertheless, I was quite certain that Louis was in love with Harry.
I searched on the internet for “Louis Tomlinson gay” and that’s how I found out about Larry Stylinson. I watched all the “proof” and “body language” videos uploaded by freddieismyqueen (in my opinion the best Larry account on YouTube) and that was the moment when I fell in love with “the most beautiful love story ever told” - before even watching One Direction’s music videos.
So this is why nobody will ever convince me that Larry is/was not real: even an outsider who has never before read/watched 1D related stuff can see that there is something special (read “more than just friends”) between Harry and Louis.
Anti-Larries: How come you still don’t see/accept it?
